Ce chapitre correspond à un cours donné à l'occasion de la Summer School tenue à Gdansk en 1999.La référence est la suivante : C. Boutin, X. OLNY, P. Royer, J.L. Auriault (1999): Acoustics of Mutli-Porous Media : Investigation of Interscale Couplings, Chapter in SummerSchool, Gdansk, June 1999, Tempus program, JEP-011552/96, Eds AuriaultJ.-L., Darve F., Dembicki E., Sikora Z.; International audience; This paper is devoted to the investigation, via homogenisation theory, of the dynamic behaviour of multiple scale porous media. Both the phenomenon and the structure of the multi-porous medium introduce distinct characteristic lengths from which scale ratios may be defined. The influence of the relationships between all scale ratios is highlighted through the analysis of interscale couplings. The derived macroscopic descriptions are presented in the case of high permeability contrasts and then for very high permeability contrasts.
