The ralet project of the municipal playrooms network of the Lleida city council. Our project is part of the LIF program (playroom, childhood and family). The Ralet project is one of the projects offered by the network of municipal play centres aimed at early childhood. Our objectives are as follows: .- Build a support network among participating families. .- Know child development and its main functions in early childhood. .- Know educational tools for intervention in the development of their children according to the age of the child. .-Know different resources that exist in the city of Lleida. .-Observe family dynamics and child development in order to prevent and detect risk situations. This project was evaluated with the “Protocol of good practices in the approach of positive parenting” and the recommendation for the service we chose was the following: BP4. To follow a preventive strategy and not only restorative in the service. The programme should be used to identify the needs and strengths of families in the community in order to prepare preventive action plans at the community level. Based on this need, we designed an improvement plan based on allocating space to detect needs and strengths. The project that consists of ten sessions contemplates a physical and temporal space where to share their worries, interests, motivations etc. In order to be able to carry out this strategy, a series of personal, material, economic and training resources were mobilised and, when we finished, the progress of the selected priority was evaluated.

The complexity of the current problems has driven a constant improvement in the clinical training of Psychology trainees in order to meet the diverse demands of the contemporary subject. The present theoretical-clinical study was intended to reflect on the formation of the clinical attitude of the Psychology student from an initial experience of attending a group of children and parents, in an evaluation/intervention modality guided by Psychoanalysis. Clinical material from the transcriptions, observations and supervision of the sessions that took place in a university clinic was used. The initial complaints of learning problems and difficulties in school could be amplified. Insecurity was initially experienced by the trainees when encountering the diversities and familiarities, with the subsequent construction of bonds within the group and greater involvement of the parents in the difficulties of the children. The supervisions allowed the analysis of unconscious aspects of the relationships, transference and countertransference, considering the negative capacity involved, with the supervisor seeking to accompany the trainees in the metabolization of this emotional experience. They could to improve observations, to interconnect theoretical-technical knowledge with practice and to construct reflections regarding the professional posture and clinical attitude.

This article is part of ethnographic research that seeks to contribute to the understanding of the modalities of protection of children considered "at risk". Based on fieldwork conducted in a state agency for the protection and restitution of children's rights, it analyzes the modalities of intervention on this population and their families, in a midsized locality of the province of Buenos Aires. The paper focuses on the dilemmatic scenarios that shape the translation of the language of rights into concrete interventions carried out by state agents. It is argued that the meanings assigned to child protection, mainly associated to notions such as consensus, voluntariness and family responsibility, are put under strain in concrete and situated practice by resignifying the language of rights in the interaction between families and the State. This article arises from a context characterized by the confinement suffered in Spain in March 2020, due to Covid-19. It aims to know how families with descendants with additional educational support needs, enrolled in Primary Education have reconciled their times, paying attention to the factors that made it difficult to combine their work, family and personal life, as well as the reconciliation measures demanded. The incidence of the mother's educational level and working conditions are also analyzed. A descriptive-comparative methodology is used based on a questionnaire applied online in the Spanish territory. The 127 participating families come from a larger sample within the framework of the R + D + i project "Education and conciliation for equity: analysis of its impact on school and social times of childhood" (Ref.: RTI2018-094764- B-100), which was selected based on availability and collaboration criteria. The analysis of the quantitative data complemented by a content analysis of the answers given in the open questions. Among the results found, a low level of conciliation in general is revealed, where the monitoring of school tasks was the main factor that has made it difficult to articulate daily times. The conclusions highlight the need to improve conciliation actions from a perspective of more community responsibility. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

TEAMS in the workplace , *CLASSROOMS , *ACHIEVEMENT gains (Education) , *EDUCATIONAL quality , *INCLUSIVE education , *TEACHERS , *STUDENT engagement , *PARTICIPATION - Abstract
The specific measures for attention to diversity are intended to guarantee inclusive and quality education, although in practice they are not always successful. Among these measures we find the Specialized Open Classrooms (SOCs), aimed at students who require extensive and generalized support. The aim of the article is to analyze the contributions of this measure to ordinary centers with SOCs. A qualitative, non-experimentaldescriptive design was used, using the ATLAS.ti Program (V.9.). The participants in this study have been 27 (Management Teams, Teachers, Families and members of administration). The results obtained show that the SOCs present strengths and weaknesses in the environment where they are located, differentiating three categories: contributions to the center, teachers and students. As strengths of the specific measure we highlight the satisfaction of the teaching staff towards the progress of the student, the application of different methodologies and specific programs and the promotion of inclusive values. As weaknesses, an excess of work and pressure for specialist teachers and a lack of presence and participation of SOCs’ students in the ordinary classrooms, which represents an important barrier to the measure towards the inclusion process. - Abstract
This study, with a qualitative approach and exploratory character, aimed to understand the experience of families in a science museum, highlighting the interactions and conversational content. Four groups of families with children participated in the study spontaneously visiting the Museum of Science and Technology (MCT) of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). The study counted on the audiovisual record of the families' relationships with their peers and with the exhibitions and, as an analysis instrument, a protocol was used that combines theoretical and empirical aspects of interactivity. The results indicate that, during the visits, the families talk about aspects of the exhibitions, contemplating or reading texts and participating fully in the proposed activities. However, conversations on science topics have been reduced. The analyzes suggest that parents, to a greater or lesser extent, played an important role in assisting and guiding children, for example, by providing instruction and interpretation support to understand the scientific knowledge exposed, participate in activities and encourage connections with previous experiences that contributed to conversations in which reflections of different natures and learning behaviors emerged. For some now years a trend has been observed in Spain revealing that the totemic character of television, and in particular, as an important element in family socialization processes, is changing. This fact coupled with the effect of multitasking seems to have led to the decline of the king of the household. Our starting hypothesis in this study was that, despite all the evolutions and mutations, television continues to play a central role in Spanish households. In 2017, the research institute Punto de Fuga, launched the foundational study "Las mil y una familias" [A Thousand and One Families] as an x-ray of Spanish families. In that study, the following methodologies were applied: 100 ethnographic interviews and 2000 surveys. Household television consumption shows that families are looking for shared moments and therefore they use television as an important element for "family communion". [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

SET theory , *FAMILIES , *FORECLOSURE - Abstract
This paper looks afresh at the Blair family case study in R. D. Laing and Aaron Esterson's Sanity, Madness and the Family; primarily, through adaptation of an earlier-elaborated concept of the author's, that of 'enverneity', and by bringing it specifically to bear on temporality and relation to time. This article thus sets out a theory of 'enverneity', which is used to uncover socio-psychical disjunctions that can go on to enforce repressions and foreclosures within specific cultural and familial settings. It draws on the concept to produce a theory in which devices enabling the elision of structural forces (particularly that of patriarchal dominance in this instance) can be uncovered, and the undoing of which, it is hoped, may be further worked towards. COVID-19 pandemic , *CAREGIVERS , *MENTAL health , *LONG-term health care , *WORLD health , *DEPENDENCY (Psychology) - Abstract
The global health crisis resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting all spheres of society, including long-term care. During the most critical weeks of the first wave of the pandemic in Spain, the difficulties for caregivers have increased to those traditionally existing, characterized by: the difficult fit between work and care, the invisibility and lack of social recognition of their work, the development of care in precariousness and lack of social protection, low wages, burnout syndrome, etc. The general objective of this study is to describe how care work was developed during the peak of the pandemic during the first wave in Spain. In this context, exploratory, descriptive, and transversal research has been developed from an eminently quantitative method through the technique of the survey during April 2020. The major results show that the care work has meant an important overload for the caregivers, increasing the hours they spend on care, affecting their health and their level of emotional fatigue and anxiety before the processes of dying of others. GRIEF , *RESEARCH methodology , *FAMILIES , *INTERVIEWING , *LEARNING , *NURSING education , *QUALITATIVE research , *NURSING students , *CONTENT analysis - Abstract
Learning how to care for families to experience loss and grief processes requires an understanding of the characteristics of the family system that affect the grieving process, as well as the perception that each person and each family member differs in the expression of their grief (Delalibera, Presa, Coelho, Barbosa & Franco, 2015). Describes a study with a qualitative approach on the learning of students in the last semester of the nursing degree course to care for families experiencing transitions of loss and grief. The sample, obtained by snowball, consists of 42 participants, 46% students, 27% teachers and 27% nurse tutors. The collection of information was obtained through semi-structured interviews, which were subsequently submitted to content analysis. Participants consider that there is a lack of preparation to take care of families as a care client. The learning and contexts of clinical practice are not always promoters of significant experiences so that students learn to assess the needs of the family to live loss processes and to accompany them in the elaboration of mourning. Students tend to focus on the sick person, ignoring the family's needs and not integrating it into the care process. Learning to care for families is an area that needs to be developed in nursing. Nurses consider that we are in an initial phase when it comes to taking care of families as a care client. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

WOMEN prisoners , *FAMILY relations , *LIBERTY , *MARITAL relations , *SENSORY perception - Abstract
This article analyzes the effects of female incarceration on family dynamics from the perspective of women deprived of liberty. The data from the survey carried out between December 2017 and March 2018 with 170 inmates at the Estêvão Pinto Penitentiary Complex (Belo Horizonte/Minas Gerais/Brazil) were scrutinized. Using the responses given by the detainees, we present the positions they occupied in their families of origin and the changes that occurred in their homes, as well as in their affective and marital relationships, as a result of their detention. This research indicates that female incarceration affects not only the detainee but also those with whom they lived before going to prison. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

SPECIES diversity , *SOCIAL perception , *BOTANY , *COMMUNITY services , *ARACEAE , *ORNAMENTAL plants , *SUBURBS , *AMARYLLIDACEAE - Abstract
Ornamental plants, in addition to beautifying, have medicinal, melliferous, entomological and environmental utility; however, the studies carried out in this group are not very representative. The objective was to evaluate the diversity and social perception of the ornamental flora present in suburban farms in Santiago de Cuba and its potential to generate goods and services at a community scale. Selected the farms, samplings were carried out to establish the composition and diversity of ornamental evaluating the Richness of Species, Dominance of Simpsons and General Diversity. Then interviews were applied to people related to the production or use of ornamental plants. 6 778 individuals belonging to 36 families, 52 genera and 57 species were found. The botanical composition was variable, tending to increase from one period to the next, being the families Amaryllidaceae, Asteraceae, Araceae and Euphorbiaceae the ones that contributed the most. The richness varied between 1 and 24 species, the highest being reported in the farm La Esperanza for both periods. The dominance values were within the established range, although de trend was to increase with the arrival of the rain, influenced by 26.31% of the species that were the most abundant. The general diversity varied between 0 and 2.7720 decreasing with the change of period; however, in Tres Palmas, La Juliana and La Sorpresa farms, values were not obtained within the established range. There is good social perception about this group of plants and improving their availability was recognized as a social need. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

COVID-19 pandemic , *VIRTUAL communities , *INCOME , *PRISONS , *ACQUISITION of data - Abstract
From a virtual community, we aim to understand the pandemic's psychosocial impacts on prisoners' family members. We seek to know the news articles shared within the community and analyze likes, shares, and commentaries of these texts among its participants. For 15 weeks, we collected data, finding 65 news articles, which were divided into three analytical categories. We observed that, without access to the prison, families suffered, with greater intensity, previously experienced concerns. We also realized that the psychosocial impacts of the pandemic are not uniform among participants. Family income and the possibility of communication with the arrested relative should be taken into account in this analysis. The virtual interactions show the strength of this group, consolidating the virtual community as a support network. The struggle involves structural transformations, in which the State would fully assume its role in penal treatment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

SCHOOL principals , *SCHOOL violence , *FAMILIES , *CHILEANS - Abstract
Being a school principal is a highly stressful and demanding job, particularly due to the number of conflicts that arise as they perform the role. The purpose of this study was to identify the types of conflicts faced by school principals with different actors and to analyze their intensity and frequency. Through an online survey sent to school principals (n=395) working in the municipal sector, it was found that they have much more intense conflicts with other adults than with students. Furthermore, most of the conflicts reported by principals (41.5%) were with families (parents/guardians). The types of conflicts that principals faced with these actors were organized into the following categories: official complaints against the school, opposition to school rules, violence against the school staff, communication issues, lack of family commitment to educational work, and negligence on the part of the school regarding specific situations with the students. The conclusions highlight the need to develop a deeper understanding of the conflicts faced by school principals. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

SPEECH therapists , *COVID-19 , *THEMATIC analysis , *SOCIAL change , *RESEARCH teams , *INTELLECTUAL disabilities - Abstract
TRASCIENDE, as a research team, arose from the need to articulate a collaborative project between Full Inclusion-CLM and the UCLM for social, scientific, academic, and professional transformation in the field of disability, inclusion, and citizenship. As a result of the socio-health situation provoked by COVID-19, the TRASCIENDE team has been involved in the social change produced by confinement, necessarily developing a role of observer of the change. This global situation leads us to ask ourselves questions that aim to initiate research processes in practice: how has this confinement affected practices in early care? To answer this question we decided to adopt a qualitative research perspective to explore the perceptions of families and professionals (speech therapists, physiotherapists, stimulators and coordinators) of Early Care teams, their difficulties and their strengths in this situation of change. The work describes a process of exploring practices during the first months of confinement, practices that have been directed, in many cases, towards tele-intervention. Data has been collected through ethnographic interviews (families) and focus groups (professionals) and has been processed through thematic analysis (Attride-Stirling, 2001). The results show the perception of families and professionals articulated in three thematic network focuses: the personal and collective reaction to the new situation, what can remain of the tele-intervention (with its nuances) and what underlies the practices in this modality. The study also opens new lines of future research which evidence the difficulty of the process of transformation towards actual family-centred models. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

PEOPLE with intellectual disabilities , *QUALITY of life , *PUBLIC health , *COMMUNITY development , *SOCIAL systems - Abstract
The situation generated by the health crisis has disrupted the entire social system and the citizens usual behaviour dynamics. Of course, it has also affected people with intellectual disabilities and the support systems for them. In this article we want to describe how people with intellectual disabilities to whom Futuro Singular Córdoba provides support lived the situation during the quarantine, what resources they had and how the families valued the work carried out by the foundation. On the other hand, we want to make an observation about how a public health issue like the one we have experienced can affect the models of providing support to people with intellectual disabilities. The progress achieved thanks to person-centered and community development approaches is put at risk in the face of the proposals of social health models that do not adjust to the reality of the majority of people with intellectual disabilities. This represents a clear setback in the practices of providing support focused on models of citizenship and impact on quality of life. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
