ABSTRACT Objective: To know the scientific production on the performance of the nursing staff in robotic surgeries, identifying the role of the nurse in the three perioperative periods. Methods: Integrative review, search in the databases National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health, Scientific Electronic Library Online and Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, performed from June to September, 2017; 17 selected articles met the inclusion criteria. Results: Most articles were published in foreign journals in English, nine in the United States, classified with evidence level of 4 and 5. The role of nursing in the perioperative period was identified, related mainly to patient safety. The most mentioned perioperative period in the articles was the intraoperative, with greater concern in the positioning of the patient. Conclusion: The nursing performance and patient safety in robotic surgeries are similar to the ones in major surgeries, requiring from the patient a specific knowledge on the setting and preparation of the robot.

Apresenta a metodologia e os critérios utilizados para a definição de um instrumento de avaliação de bases de dados, verificando a satisfação dos usuários quanto aos aspectos de conteúdo, funcionalidades do sistema e recuperação da informação. Relata a elaboração e aplicação deste instrumento para avaliação da base de dados Scopus, presente no Portal Periódicos CAPES, por parte de bibliotecários e usuários do Sistema de Bibliotecas da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Os resultados foram positivos em relação à satisfação dos usuários, quanto aos aspectos abordados.

ABSTRACT Objective: To measure nursing Workload (WL) of nurses who work in the Inpatient Unit, as recommended by the Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC), comparing observational and online methods to propose supervision strategies for academic professionals. Method: Quantitative, descriptive, observational study performed in a Clinical/Surgical Hospital Unit. 30 direct and indirect activities. Data collected in observational and online records. Statistical analysis: SPSS 18.0 software, percentage frequencies and associated times between groups by Fisher's Exact test, 95% confidence interval, significance level 5%. Results: Comparing the activities performed with the NIC time: from the direct 16, five observational and five online, were out of range, with no significant difference between frequencies (P=0.427). Of the 14 indirect, only in the observational, two were out of the range, without significant difference (P=0.486). Conclusion: Both methods measure WL; the online method developed accompanies activities performed in real time.

Resumo: Em todas as áreas de conhecimento os produtos de pesquisa estão a ser notados nas publicações de pesquisadores que trabalham em redes de pesquisa. Os efeitos multiplicadores das redes são vistos como uma das benesses do trabalho colaborativo, pois que ampliam os créditos de avaliação individual. Contudo, há outros elementos nas estruturas do trabalho intelectual originado nas redes que têm tanta relevância quanto o fator produtividade multiplicada. Neste artigo mostramos alguns destes elementos ou fatores multiplicadores do trabalho operado nas redes de pesquisa e identificados nos seus ecossistemas biográficos e cognitivos. Enfocamos estudos de caso de redes de pesquisa e colaboração de quatro países, Colômbia, Portugal, Uruguai e Brasil. Dentre os efeitos multiplicadores, destacamos os elementos que ligam uma rede; como e por que os pesquisadores trabalham em colaboração; os tipos de colaboração; ciclos de vida das redes; as formas de articulação; as inter-relações e o foco nas audiências para produção de conhecimento.

Objective: to map nursing care employed to adult patients with chest drainage admitted to intensive care. Methods: scoping review to be conducted according to the Joanna Briggs Institute, with the following research question: "What are the nursing cares indicated to adult patients with chest drainage admitted to intensive care?" The search will be developed in five databases: Pubmed, Scopus, Embase, BVS and Web of Science, and the findings will be managed with the support of Rayyan software. Quantitative and qualitative studies, review articles, dissertations, theses, clinical guidelines and therapeutic protocols on the subject will be included, including gray literature. The total number of sources of evidence found and selected will be described. Through a narrative, the decision-making process of the inclusion of the studies will be detailed. This paper introduces a novel line of sight constraint for mixed-integer programming models based on intermediary points. Its effectiveness is evaluated in the context of a receding horizon trajectory planning problem for a multiagent system, in which connectivity of the communication network must be maintained. The proposed constraint is shown to provide better results in terms of overall conservatism when compared to an earlier approach. Simulations further illustrate our findings. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

RESUMO: O artigo analisa a relação entre a heterogeneidade das escolas públicas e a ocupação das vagas da política de ações afirmativas na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). A partir da literatura sobre estratificação escolar em sociologia da educação, assume-se a existência de um quase-mercado escolar na rede pública, com escolas regulares e diferenciadas. Os dados explorados referem-se aos ingressos do ano de 2017. A metodologia, de cunho quantitativo, privilegiou análises descritivas, cruzamentos simples e medidas básicas de associação, caracterizando-se como um estudo exploratório. Os resultados mostram que os egressos das escolas regulares têm um acesso proporcionalmente menor às vagas reservadas na modalidade que não considera renda ou cor/raça. Esse fenômeno ocorre de forma mais intensa nos cursos mais concorridos. Considerando a heterogeneidade entre escolas públicas, a forma atual de ingresso na educação superior pública favorece egressos da escola pública diferenciada frente aos egressos da regular. Entende-se que esse fato caracteriza um limite na correção da distorção no acesso à educação superior pública federal.

Abstract This article aimed to discuss how Pierre Bourdieu’s concept of reflexivity was conceived, and how it influenced and was developed by Bernard Lahire’s in his sociology. To operationalize the way the concept is articulated, but emphasizing its development by Lahire, this paper presents as an empirical case how reflexivity was engendered in José Francisco Bernardes Milanez’ biographical trajectory, a historical environmental activist from the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. The central argument we defend is that the Bourdieusian-inspired concept of reflexivity has a certain objectivist and structuralist weight, which gives a secondary role to individuals’ reflection capacity and agency. Despite this weight, reflexivity acts as a mediator between structures and their individual agency within actors’ social lives. In this sense, reflexive capacities can be better understood and analyzed by considering the ways individuals connect their daily practices, dialectically and concomitantly, with reflexive processes. This article emphasizes that sociological analyses at the individual level can be potentially more substantive if they consider structure, agency, and reflexivity in an integrated way. Finally, we argue that the conceptual and argumentative association of elements from the two authors helps to avoid false antinomies.

RESUMO Objetivo Conhecer a trajetória histórica do processo de implementação da Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde da Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre, em parceria com a Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Porto Alegre. Método Trata-se de uma pesquisa histórica, norteada pela História Oral Temática. As entrevistas com seis profissionais de ambas as instituições foram realizadas de outubro a dezembro de 2013. Foi aplicada a análise de conteúdo como método analítico. Resultados Emergiram três as categorias temáticas: Fortalecimento das Instituições envolvidas; Qualificação Profissional para o Intensivismo; e Implementação do Programa. Conclusões Conhecer a trajetória histórica de um Programa modelo Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde, evidenciou os esforços para unir ensino e serviço com a finalidade de qualificar profissionais da saúde fortalecendo a equipe para mudar o modelo hegemônico de atenção à saúde médico-assistencial.

Resumo OBJETIVO Conhecer o perfil de atendimento e satisfação dos usuários atendidos pelo Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (SAMU). MÉTODOS Estudo transversal dos 854 atendimentos realizados pelas equipes de Suporte Avançado de Vida (SAV) do SAMU de Porto Alegre/RS, no primeiro trimestre de 2016. Participaram 164 usuários ou responsáveis que responderam via telefone questões referentes ao atendimento realizado. Análise realizada através dos Testes de Spearman e Qui-quadrado. Estudo aprovado em Comitê de Ética e Pesquisa das Instituições envolvidas. RESULTADOS Observou-se maior percentual de atendimentos clínicos (48,2%) seguidos pelos atendimentos aos traumas (32,8%). Sobre o atendimento pelo telefone, 71,4% dos participantes classificaram o serviço como ‘muito bom’ enquanto o atendimento presencial foi assim classificado por 76,8% dos respondentes. Desses, 81,1% afirmaram que o atendimento foi resolutivo. CONCLUSÕES O tipo clínico se destaca entre os atendimentos e os usuários revelam satisfação com o serviço prestado, considerando que esse atende a população resolutamente.

Objective: to develop a Navigation Program for cancer patients, based on the model proposed by The GW Cancer Institute at George Washington University, adapted to the reality of a Brazilian High Complexity Center in Oncology. Method: a convergent care research applied in the development of a patient navigation care process, based on the model proposed by George Washington University, adapted for a High Complexity Center in Oncology in Brazil. Phases of the Convergent Assistance Research: conception, instrumentation, scrutiny, analysis and interpretation. These were correlated with the stages of the Program Development Cycle. Scale designed to categorize patients into navigation levels, validated by the Delphi Technique, with 12 specialists. Results: in the diagnosis, patients with head and neck cancer were defined for inclusion in the Navigation Program. Planning and implementation took place simultaneously, allowing the basic formatting of the program and its processes to be designed. Navigation Needs Assessment Scale designed to select the patient to join the Program and determine the recommended support. The scale validation had a consensus index of 96.42%. Evaluation of the stages of the cycle occurred through the adapted Plan/Do/Check/Act cycle. Conclusion: a Navigation Program was developed adapted to the Brazilian reality, and attributions of the navigators were created.

The aim of this quantitative and qualitative study was to identify the athletic physical structures in Brazil. Data were collected on the Brazilian Athletics Confederation (CBAt) website related to the best athletes ranking for 2014. This study consisted of 1,784 athletes and their respective institutions. There is a higher concentration of institutions (42%) and athletes (73%) devoted to sports initiation and high performance in the Southeast region, which is a wider economic development in the country. But, there is also an interesting geographical distribution of athletics practice in cities in the North, Northeast, and Midwest. It was found that 7 out of the top 20 athletic teams in Brazil with athletes of both sexes in all categories followed the complete path from the talent identification to high performance. In short, the findings of this study should help Brazil to better define the objectives for Brazilian athletics and identify the teams that in fact develop performance in athletes. Tropospheric ozone (O 3 ) background concentrations have increased since pre-industrial times, reaching phytotoxic concentrations in many regions globally. However, the effect of high O 3 concentrations on quality of fruit and vegetables remains unknown. Here, we evaluated whether O 3 pollution alters the quality of Capsicum baccatum peppers by changing the secondary compound profiles and biological activity of the fruit. C. baccatum pepper plants were exposed to ozone for 62 days in an open-top chamber at a mean O 3 concentration of 171.6 µg/m 3 . Capsaicin levels decreased by 50% in the pericarp, but remained unchanged in the seeds. In contrast, the total carotenoid content increased by 52.8% in the pericarp. The content of total phenolic compounds increased by 17% in the pericarp. The total antioxidant potential decreased by 87% in seeds of O 3 -treated plants. The seeds contributed more than the pericarp to the total radical-trapping antioxidant potential and total antioxidant reactivity. O 3 treatment impaired the ferric-reducing antioxidant power of the seeds and reduced NO • -scavenging activity in the pericarp. However, O 3 treatment increased ferrous ion-chelating activity and hydroxyl radical-scavenging activity in the pericarp. Our results confirm that O 3 alters the secondary metabolite profile of C. baccatum pepper fruits and, consequently, their biological activity profile. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
