Applications that provide online services are becoming more popular every day and a part of desktop apps respectively decrease. The search of information, processing documents, creating images and even user games find their place on the Internet. All these things are built on basis of the client-server data transfering model which nowadays is main for most of modern applications starting directly from the web segment ending with mobile devices. The problem should be talk about is low level of using online applications culture in favor of familiar desktop versions of data processing applications. In particular it’s about text-processing tools. Despite the part of web applications increase daily, the survey indicates that most part of researchers still prefer offline redactors for their work. Unfortunately this approach does not ensure user’s data from corruption, it doesn’t provide an opportunity to cooperate for joint work for researchers and bears lots of other risks which can be reduced by using online tools.Considering all the above the main topic of the article is the use of client-server model in the development of referative managers and some work-processes automatization. The client-server architecture, actual problems of science works processing sphere and some tools for text-processing are considered in the article.ONAFT Reference Manager project based on client-server architecture and developed to eliminate existing problems of the sphere will be mentioned as well.

Indonesia is rich in culture, ethnicity which one example is the traditional houses that exist in each province. Introduce Indonesian traditional house to users by using information technology as a medium of information could be one way to preserve the nation's culture. Limitations of the media information about traditional houses that currently can only be enjoyed through pictures or visit the traditional houses directly make society can not know the traditional houses in Indonesia optimally. Therefore we need a media so that people can know more about traditional houses in Indonesia without the need to visit directly into sites or less information such as 2-dimensional images in the book. Application developed is combination between virtual reality and website. Application built using the waterfall method. The virtual technology is embedded in a website that allows users to access them anytime and anywhere. Aplication was developed using VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) and 3ds Max modeling software, and using the programming language PHP, HTML, CSS, and MySQL database.

This paper will describe the development of a web application for air quality control. 5 measuring points in the city of Split have been determined, according to which the data will be presented tabularly and graphically. The values that are measured are temperature, humidity and the percentage of moisture in the air. "Air Quality Control" application is created in JavaScript programming language, HTML presentation language and CSS style language. A combination of several JavaScript libraries was used to create the application interface, of which React and MaterialUI libraries should be singled out. The backend service is based on the Express application environment and the Node.js runtime environment. The MongoDB database program was used for data storage. Technologies MongoDB, Express, React and Node.js together form the so-called MERN stack. The measurements that were used in the creation of this work are based on the measurements of my colleague Ante Botica in his final work "Wireless sensor network for measuring air quality".

The Department of Defense (DOD) requires the military to provide command and control during missions in locations where terrestrial communications infrastructure is unreliable or unavailable, which results in a high reliance on satellite communications (SATCOM). This is problematic because they use and consume more digital data in the operational environment. The DOD has several forms of data capable of meeting Internet of Things (IoT) transmission parameters that could be diversified onto an IoT network. This research assesses the potential for an IoT satellite constellation in Low Earth Orbit to provide an alternative, space-based communication platform to military units while offering increased overall SATCOM capacity and resiliency. This research explores alternative IoT waveforms and compatible transceivers in place of LoRaWAN for the NPS CENETIX Ortbial-1 CubeSat. The study uses a descriptive comparative research approach to simultaneously assess several variables. Five alternative waveforms—Sigfox, NB-IoT, LTE-M, Wi-sun, and Ingenu—are evaluated. NB-IoT, LTE-M, and Ingenu meet the threshold to be feasible alternatives to replace the LoRaWAN waveform in the Orbital-1 CubeSat. Six potential IoT transceivers are assessed as replacements. Two transceivers for the NB-IoT and LTE-M IoT waveforms and one transceiver from U-blox for the Ingenu waveform are assessed as compliant. Lieutenant, United States Navy Approved for public release. Distribution is unlimited.

Evaluation of chronic constipation is important, although it is often difficult to satisfactorily treat due to the complex interplay of factors. This study aimed to determine whether the volume of intraluminal contents and lateral diameter of the colon measured from computed tomography (CT) images were correlated with the symptoms of chronic constipation and stool consistency. Consecutive patients who underwent the Constipation Scoring System (CSS), Bristol Stool Form Scale (BSFS) questionnaires and simple abdominal CT were selected retrospectively. The intestinal tract diameter at each site was measured, and the amounts of stool and gas in the intestinal tract were evaluated at five levels. Of the 149 study participants, 54 were males and 95 were females and their mean age was 72.1 years. In the right hemi-colon, CSS5 (Time) correlated significantly with gas volume (p < 0.01). In the left hemi-colon, stool volume correlated significantly with CSS2 (Difficulty), CSS3 (Completeness), CSS5 (Time) and CSS total (p < 0.05). The BSFS negatively correlated with gas volume and diameter in the right hemi-colon and with gas volume in the rectum (p < 0.05). CT findings including stool volume, gas volume and diameter correlated with some constipation symptoms and stool consistency. These findings may be useful in evaluating and treating constipation.

Konvencionalna metoda podrazumijeva primjenu u vertikalnim bušotinama, dok nekonvencionalne metode podrazumijevaju utiskivanje vodene pare zajedno s kemijskim aditivima te utiskivanje vodene pare u horizontalne bušotine. Na području Republike Hrvatske postoji mogućnost primjene metode na polju X, a sam projekt primjene je u procesu planiranja., Cyclic steam stimulation, also known as the “huff and puff“ method, is a tertiary and thermal oil production method. It is mostly used in oil fields containing heavy oil. Cyclic steam stimulation consists of three stages: steam injection, soaking period, and production. The conventional method of cyclic steam stimulation injects steam in vertical wells, while unconventional methods include mixing of the steam with chemical additives and injecting the steam into the horizontal wells. The possibility of using cyclic steam stimulation in Croatia exists in oil field X and the project is in the planning stage.

Summary: Burn injuries are still one of the most common and devastating injuries in human and the treatment of major burns remains a major challenge for physicians worldwide. Modern burn care involves many components from initial first aid, burn size and burn depth assessment, fluid resuscitation, wound care, excision and grafting/ coverage, infection control and nutritional support. Progress in each of these areas has contributed significantly to the overall enhanced survival of burn victims of the past decades. Most major advances in burn care occurred in the past 50 years, spurred on by wars and great fires. The use of systemic antibiotics and topical antiinfective agents greatly reduced sepsis related mortality. This along with the improvement of new surgical and skin grafting techniques allowed the earlier excision and coverage of deep burns which resulted in greatly improved survival rates and better functional and aesthetic outcome. In this book we look back at how the treatment of burns has evolved over the past decades and hundreds of years. The advancement of burn care has been closely associated with our deeper understanding of its pathophysiology; we have now come to understand the impact that burn injuries have in the multiple fields of current medical science i.e. in metabolism and circulation, electrolyte balance and nutrition, immunology and infection, inflammation, pulmonary function and wound healing.

In today's world, technology development aspects are growing rapidly in a way that makes the development of these aspects unacceptable to slowdown. Perhaps the most distinguishing aspect is the World Wide Web which is considered as the main container for these prospects, despite of the challenges and the difficulties which have faced it since the beginning especially in term of performance. This paper states current performance difficulties that face web-based applications, grouping these difficulties into categories based on the web technology used. It also proposes a number of recommendations and enhancements that increase and optimize the web performance. These recommendations are implemented in a real case which is "Mofadalah" web-based application at the Syrian ministry of health. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
With the development of Internet of Things (IoT), the world gradually moves toward the interconnection of all things. In terrestrial networks, narrowband-IoT and Long Rage (LoRa) are used widely in the IoT industry. For low-earth-orbit (LEO) satellites, they have a lot of conspicuous advantages, such as broader coverage and lower construction cost. In this letter, we place emphasis on the application of LoRa-related technologies to LEO satellite communication systems, and the modulation is the prior research. Chirp spread spectrum (CSS) modulation is the most important technology in LoRa. Therefore, the research of CSS modulation used in the satellite IoT is imperative. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper, an alternative approach was employed and derived the explicit expressions of sample mean and its variance for the circular and the diagonal circular systematic schemes since these expressions were unavailable in the existing literature. The study also found the corrected estimator of population mean and average variance under super-population model for these scheme. It further revealed that the circular systematic sampling almost performed better than that of the diagonal circular systematic sampling in both linear and auto-correlated super-population models. Much work has been done on automating regression testing for applications. But most of them focus on test execution. Little work has been done on automatically determining if a test case passes or fails. This decision is often made by comparing the results of executing test cases on a base version of the application and post-modification version of the application. If the two results match, the test case passes, otherwise fails. However, to the best of our knowledge, there is no regression testing method for automatically deciding pass/fail of dynamic Web applications which use JavaScript or CSS. We propose a method that automatically decides if a dynamic Web application passes a regression test case. The basic idea is to obtain a screenshot each time the GUI of the Web application (i.e. Web page) changes its state, and then compare each corresponding screenshot to see if they match. The evaluation results showed that the accuracy rate of our approach is high and our approach can be considered as fast enough for practical use. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Salvage lymph node dissection (sLND) - performed open or minimally-invasive - is a treatment modality that can be offered to patients with nodal recurrence after radical prostatectomy (RP), especially in times where modern imaging methods like choline- or PSMA-PET/CT are available. Yet, there are only very limited data on the safety and oncological effectiveness of robotic sLND. Methods: We retrospectively identified patients who underwent robotic sLND at our institution between 2013 and 2017 for nodal recurrence after RP, which had been diagnosed either by 18F-choline- or 68Ga-PSMA-PET/CT. We analyzed perioperative data and early oncological outcomes with a focus on the comparison of patients with preoperative choline- vs. those with preoperative PSMA-PET/CT. Results: We identified 36 patients who underwent robotic sLND at a median time of 45.3 months [range 3.1;228.6] after RP, with nodal recurrences detected in 25 patients by PSMA- and in 11 by choline-PET/CT. Median preoperative PSA, operation time and blood loss were 1.98 ng/ml [range 0.09;35.15], 129.5 min [range 65;202] and 50 ml [range 0;400], respectively. No high-grade complications occurred. A median number of 6.5 [range 1;25] lymph nodes were removed with a median of 1 [range 0;9] tumor-occupied node. None of the patients received any adjuvant treatment. Median postoperative PSA-change was -57% [range -100; +58] in the PSMA- and +10% [range -91; +95] in the choline-group (p = 0.015). 44% of patients in the PSMA- and 18% of patients in the choline-group experienced complete biochemical response (cBCR; PSA <0.2 ng/ml). Median time from sLND to the initiation of further therapy was 12 months [range 2;21.5] in the PSMA-group and 4.7 months [range 2.2;18.9] in the choline-group (p = 0.001). Conclusions: This is the hitherto largest series on robotic sLND for nodal recurrence after RP. Robotic sLND is a feasible therapeutic option with low morbidity, which can at least delay the initiation of further therapy - in some patients up to several years. However, the extend of sLND has to be standardized and randomized trials are needed to finally define the oncological effectiveness of this approach. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Unfortunately this approach does not ensure user’s data from corruption, it doesn’t provide an opportunity to cooperate for joint work for researchers and bears lots of other risks which can be reduced by using online tools. Considering all the above the main topic of the article is the use of client-server model in the development of referative managers and some work-processes automatization. The client-server architecture, actual problems of science works processing sphere and some tools for text-processing are considered in the article. ONAFT Reference Manager project based on client-server architecture and developed to eliminate existing problems of the sphere will be mentioned as well. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The main goal of this research note is to educate business researchers on how to automatically scrape financial data from the World Wide Web using the R programming language. This paper is organized into the following main parts. The first part provides a conceptual overview of the web scraping process. The second part educates the reader about the Rvest package—a popular tool for browsing and downloading web data in R. The third part educates the reader about the main functions of the XBRL package. The XBRL package was developed specifically for working with financial data distributed using the XBRL format in the R environment. The fourth part of this paper presents an example of a relatively complex web scraping task implemented using the R language. This complex web scraping task involves using both the Rvest and XBRL packages for the purposes of retrieving, preprocessing, and organizing financial and nonfinancial data related to a company from various sources and using different data forms. The paper ends with some concluding remarks on how the web scraping approach presented in this paper can be useful in other research projects involving financial and nonfinancial data. CASCADING style sheets , *AUTOMATION - Abstract
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a W3C specification for a style sheet language used for describing the presentation of a document written in a markup language, more precisely, for styling Web documents. However, in the last few years, the landscape for CSS development has changed dramatically with the appearance of several languages and tools aiming to help developers build clean, modular and performance-aware CSS. These new approaches give developers mechanisms to preprocess CSS rules through the use of programming constructs, defined as CSS preprocessors, with the ultimate goal to bring those missing constructs to the CSS realm and to foster stylesheets structured programming. At the same time, a new set of tools appeared, defined as postprocessors, for extension and automation purposes covering a broad set of features ranging from identifying unused and duplicate code to applying vendor prefixes. With all these tools and techniques in hands, developers need to provide a consistent workflow to foster CSS modular coding. This paper aims to present an introductory survey on the CSS processors. The survey gathers information on a specific set of processors, categorizes them and compares their features regarding a set of predefined criteria such as: maturity, coverage and performance. Finally, we propose a basic set of best practices in order to setup a simple and pragmatic styling code workflow. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Efficient search engines enable the end user to avail the target information as early as and as accurately as possible. Search engine optimization conforms to the act of optimizing the webpage in particular and a website in general so as to acquire a highest ranking in search engine results. The ranking is based on some pre-defined criteria which SEO encapsulates for generating right signal to the search engine. The basic methodology adopted for this purpose primarily focuses on enriching the website content and improving readability by making the web pages more search engine friendly. Several optimization tools exist for rendering the website search engine friendly. But all these tools operate like a black box where the internal details are not immediately revealed to an end user. To facilitate this, in the current work the authors have designed and developed a simulation tool for testing w3C compliance which is a necessary condition for making a webpage search engine friendly. The browsers do not complain against the violation of W3C compliance rules, however such violations do result in rendering the web page invisible to the search engine which in turn results less network traffic flow to the website. Among other things W3C and CSS compliance are the most basic rules which a website designer cannot afford to ignore. In the current work, the tool is designed and developed for the purpose which accepts an HTML document and computes its W3C compliance score. The tool meticulously analyzes the HTML code and generates several reports conforming to violation of rules, if any. Further, the tool has the provision for converting the document into W3C compliance document based on the specified ruleset. Finally, the tool has been tested by applying it to the case study of a hypothetical organization. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Radio spectrum (3 KHz to 300 GHz) is a limited natural resource and efficient utilization of the spectrum can be accomplished by cognitive radio (CR). In CR, spectrum sensing is one of the significant challenging issues. Cooperative spectrum sensing (CSS) based CR is a captivating solution to enhance spectrum sensing. In CSS, multiple secondary users (SUs) report their results to fusion center (FC) and final decision is taken on the status of the primary user (PU) based on the predetermined fusion rule. This cooperative decision in CSS based CR, improves the spectrum sensing performance. Nevertheless, the foremost drawback in CSS is low throughput due to reporting time introduced by the multiple SUs. We propose a novel method to reduce the reporting time so as to enhance the throughput performance for the same number of SUs in CSS based CR. In the proposed scheme k SUs, where k is even, are divided into two groups, each with k/2 users. Two groups report their sensing results to two FCs separately and final decision is taken by the third FC. Consequently, the reporting time is condensed in the proposed scheme. The sensing performance of the proposed CSS (PCSS) for all possible fusion rules is reviewed. Analytical expressions for probability of false alarm, probability of detection and throughput are derived for PCSS. Both simulation results and theoretical analyses validate that PCSS improves throughput significantly when compared with CSS. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

If the digital scholarly edition (DSE) is ever to replace the print scholarly edition it must be made truly interoperable so it can be easily secured, moved, published, aggregated, distributed and sold. Current DSEs are customised for particular projects, and must be maintained by their creators. Their contents are also not easily reusable by others. However, digital editions can be made truly interoperable by writing them directly for the Web rather than first in XML, then converting them to HTML. For this to work, some changes to the organisation of the software and data of a DSE are needed. Instead of dividing the software into two parts that run on the server and the client, all software can be moved to the client. In this way, a DSE can become portable, durable and directly usable in any web-browser. Instead of XML, the textual data can use a simplified form of HTML consisting of only two elements: and , controlled and customised by a standard CSS stylesheet. The current practice of encoding alternatives such as variants can be replaced by versions and layers: versions are complete texts written by the author and layers are notional transcripts of local changes ordered chronologically. In this way textual data can express most of the information formerly specified by the complex TEI-XML Guidelines, and the rest via other technologies, and reorganise it in a form that allows easy comparison, editing, searching and textual analysis using standard software tools., Umanistica Digitale, No. 10 (2021)

CZTS films were obtained by spray pyrolysis, a low-cost technique implemented on an industrial scale. Sulfurization processes generally enhance CZTS properties for its use in solar cells; however, these require high temperatures and long times. In this work, CZTS films properties were studied after being subjected to a combined novel thermal treatment which involved two stages. Sulfur incorporation using close space sublimation technique (CSS) at a temperature (T CSS) in the 350–500 °C range for 60 s, and after a rapid thermal annealing post-treatment (RTA) at T RTA = 500 °C for 10 s, with a heating ramp of 5 °C/s under argon atmosphere. Morphological, structural, chemical composition, optical and electrical properties were studied for CZTS films subjected to CSS as CSS+RTA treatments for all T CSS values. From the results, efficient sulfur incorporation by CSS was obtained without substantial sulfur concentration loss after RTA treatment, associated with the short treatment time. In addition, significant enhancement of crystalline quality and electrical resistivity diminished of the films is obtained after the CSS+RTA process for all T CSS. CZTS films with the best properties are those obtained at T CSS of 400 °C, having Cu/(Zn+Sn) = 0.79 and Zn/Sn = 1.3 ratios, a direct bandgap value of 1.5 eV, and resistivity of 4 Ω-cm. These films can be candidates for their characteristics as an absorbent layer in solar cells. [Display omitted] • Efficient sulfur incorporation in CZTS films by CSS using short times. • RTA post-treatment in previous sulfurized CZTS films without significant sulfur loss. • Combined CSS+RTA treatment stimulates the kesterite phase in CZTS films. • Combined CSS+RTA treatment enhance CZTS films properties for their use in solar cells. • CZTS by spray pyrolisis, treated short time lead 1.5 ≤E g ≤ 1.6 eV, 10−1 ≤ ρ ≤ 101 Ω-cm. - Abstract
[ES] There is an enormous quantity of web applications with little or no security configurations at all that are accessible through the Internet. Many of these were academic exercises that were engineered from a purely functional perspective; this leads to poorly specialized configurations and to a lack of security. Many of these applications have been later abandoned by their programmers or simply kept as initially deployed, whereas being still public and fully accessible. On the one hand, the project focuses on the stydy and analysis of selected state of the art web technologies and some of their related security flaws. As web programming technologies evolve, new flaws appear; and also appear the recommended programming patterns to overcome these flaws. Overall, cibersecurity in web systems is a dynamic and evolving process that requires much effort in continuous analysis of systems, of web programming tools, and systems prototyping. For this purpose, an initial basic set up of a web server will be put in place to analyze selected flaws on the field and selected common security missconfigurations. This work will be exemplified on a prototype application comprising a server and a set of IoT nodes monitored by the server. This basic prototype will help to illustrate some security missconfigurations that are frequent and part of OWASP Top 10. Then, a set of recommendations for their configuration and public set up will be designed and programmed., [EN] There is an enormous quantity of web applications with little or no security configurations at all that are accessible through the Internet. - Abstract
[EN] Everyone knows that this pandemic has left many stores and businesses closed, some of those affected do not stop seeing how the regulations change and each time they allow them to open with a certain capacity, certain hours and then close them again. As this is already a real headache, we have thought to make it easier for you and contribute our grain of sand. For this, we thought about gyms. After people spent time at home without doing even the slightest bit of exercise to stay healthy, there has been an avalanche of joining gyms to get back to that way we felt good about ourselves. That requires some access control and capability planning. For this, an application for smartphones will be created since practically everyone carries one in their pocket. With this development we will find an easy way to have a good access control for the clients of your gym and everything that you can offer such as classes, rooms, schedules, etc... The solution that is offered is said application used through web technology developed for Android that can later, with the same code, be exported to other platforms, and an API for data access. - Abstract
The Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) conducts student satisfaction surveys on different areas of teaching. The results obtained must serve to improve teaching, which is why it is necessary for all the actors involved to be properly disseminated. From the coordination of degree in Computer Engineering, the creation of a platform for its management and display was encouraged. A tool is currently available to display the results of the assignment surveys and through this project a similar tool is to be developed to be able to view and compare the results of the assessment surveys of teacher performance (PAAD). This has been integrated into the existing platform using the same web environment technologies. The new implemented system provides a specific view for each area which allows you to view the results in different ways depending on the permissions assigned., La Universidad Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) realiza encuestas de satisfacción al alumnado sobre diferentes ámbitos de la docencia. - Abstract
That is why Data Visualization, in graphs and panels, preferably dynamic and interactive, is of great importance. This helps us save a lot of time and effort to see, analyze and understand the data, and thus be able to make more correct and informed decisions based on verified information. In modern HTML5, it can hardly be denied that JavaScript is the most versatile and easy-to-use technology for displaying data. This work will consist of the explanation of the different types of data that we have, the different tools to be able to visualize them in the web environment and finally, I will focus on the development of a web application with one of the tools that we will talk about, for visualizing Excel data with JavaScript.
