This study aimed to calibrate existing model (Platt and Paltridge model) and develop a new models for estimating the different components of the solar radiation on a horizontal surface in a clear sky data using commonly and available measured meteorological records such as water vapor tension and temperature, etc. Four models based on meteorological variables were generated and validated using daily data in 2013-2016 at the Oran Station (Algeria). Validation criteria included coefficient of determination, root mean square error and mean bias error, the results showed that the proposed models can estimate solar radiation values. The model based on the temperature and the water vapor tension gives better results with statistical errors obtained are as follows: NDMBE = 13.36 %, NDRMSE = 47.08 % and the correlation coefficient R = 0.85 for the diffused component, the model based on relative humidity and atmospheric pressure gives better results for the direct component with statistical errors obtained are: NDMBE = -1.54 %, NDRMSE = 22.59 % and the correlation coefficient R = 0.95 and The model based on the relative humidity and the water vapor tension with results: NDMBE = 0.96 %, NDRMSE = 12.08 % and the correlation coefficient R = 0.98 for the global component.

In this work we discuss the problems of template matching and we propose some solutions. Those problems are: 1) Template and image of search differ by a scale, 2) Template or image of search is object of rotation, 3) Template or image of search is object of an affinity. The well known method is NCC (Normalized Cross Correlation); this method can not handle scale, rotation, affinity or occlusion. Also the NCC is not preferred for binary image. So we propose here to use index similarity for example Jaccard index.

Edible Ammodaucus leucotrichus Cross. & Dur. and Moringa oleifera Lamarck are largely used in the Algerian Sahara. In this context, soluble sugars, fatty acids, organic acids, and tocopherols were characterized. Decoctions and hydroethanolic extracts were studied regarding their phenolic compounds by HPLC-DAD-ESI/MSn, and in-vitro cytotoxic, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial activities were evaluated. Results indicate high contents of carbohydrates (glucose and sucrose) and significant levels of protein and mineral were recorded for both plants. Malic acid was the major organic acid alongside with α-tocopherol, while PUFA was predominant in M. oleifera and MUFA in A. leucotrichus. Flavonoid derivatives were the most abundant group, being luteolin-O-(malonyl-glucoside) the main compound in A. leucotrichus and quercetin-3-O-(6″-malonyl-glucoside) and 3-O-caffeoylquininc acid the major molecules in M. oleifera. Extracts exhibited significant cytotoxicity on Hela and MCF-7 cell lines. The anti-inflammatory activity was also higher in the hydroethanolic extracts, which also revealed the highest antibacterial effects, especially for Gram-positive bacteria.

BackgroundBlood–brain barrier (BBB) disruption has been noted in animal models of Parkinson’s disease (PD) and forms the basis of the vascular hypothesis of neurodegeneration, yet clinical studies are lacking.ObjectiveTo determine alterations in BBB integrity in PD, with comparison to cerebrovascular disease.MethodsDynamic contrast enhanced magnetic resonance images were collected from 49 PD patients, 15 control subjects with cerebrovascular disease [control positive (CP)] and 31 healthy control subjects [control negative (CN)], with all groups matched for age. Quantitative maps of the contrast agent transfer coefficient across the BBB (Ktrans) and plasma volume (vp) were produced using Patlak analysis. Differences in Ktrans and vp were assessed with voxel-based analysis as well as in regions associated with PD pathophysiology. In addition, the volume of white matter lesions (WMLs) was obtained from T2-weighted fluid attenuation inversion recovery (FLAIR) images.ResultsHigher Ktrans, reflecting higher BBB leakage, was found in the PD group than in the CN group using voxel-based analysis; differences were most prominent in the posterior white matter regions. Region of interest analysis confirmed Ktrans to be significantly higher in PD than in CN, predominantly driven by differences in the substantia nigra, normal-appearing white matter, WML and the posterior cortex. WML volume was significantly higher in PD compared to CN. Ktrans values and WML volume were similar in PD and CP, suggesting a similar burden of cerebrovascular disease despite lower cardiovascular risk factors.ConclusionThese results show BBB disruption in PD.

The activity developed in vast areas of northwest africa causes serious invasions of different species of orthoptera insect which poses a great danger to agriculture and thus to nutrition of peoples and animals in general. In (Algeria), FAO considers the regions of naama, tindouf, adrar and bechar in Algeria as the theater of signaling of swarms and intervention. In this article, we want to shed light on the peculiarities of this insect (orthoptera), its statistics, its species and the families it belongs to in the arid region called naama (southwestern Algeria). The study of orthoptera in the arid region of naama (southern west of Algeria) conducted at three stations (Mecheria, Ben ammar) and the wetland of (Ain ben khelil) during the period from august 2015 until august 2017 allowed to identify nineteen (19) species divided into two sub-orders ensifera and caelifera. They are divided into five families (Tettigonidae, Gryllidae Pamphagidae, Acrididae, and Pyrgomorphidae). Acrididae family is the largest with five species. Oedipodinae subfamily is the most numerous genera and species it includes four (4) different types genders and seven species (7). The highest diversity index of the shannon-weaver is obtained at the wetland ain ben khelil is 2.12 bits, followed by the station of ben ammar with 2.06 bits and station of mecheria remains in third with 1.89 bit values of fairness are close to one corresponding to populations in balance entered them. The determination of species, genders and families of this population is based on several morphological criteria such as the shape of the pronotum, and the color of membranous wings and the shape of the hind legs.

In the recent years, the dominant cementitious materials have been industrial by products such as fly ash. This present data describes some of the cementitious products that are attracting attention in the global research community and the properties and characteristics of these materials that affect their performance such durability, mechanically properties and reduction of carbon dioxid (CO2). The present investigation deals with the chemical synthesis of cementitious material using fly ash of eggs shell rich in calcium(Ca) and sand dune(southern west of Algeria) rich in silica(SiO2).The composition of geopolymers synthesized are the most compressive resistant with a maximum stress of 49.71 MPa, the most flexible (E = 2.63 GPa) and the most ductile (εr = 65.42%).The characteristic properties of the chemically synthesized cementitious materials were analyzed by the chemical composition analysis XRF, XRD and SEM analyses.

Orthoptera are capable of threat of agriculture, human health and resists to all pesticides used. This problem is become an objectif of many research's. Pesticide resistance is the adaptation of insects to this materials resulting in decreased susceptibility to that chemical. In other hand, insects develop a resistance through natural selection such chemically transformation, physiological phenomena and genetic. In our study, natural chitin was extracted from cuticle of orthoptera insect (southern of Algeria) using a chemical strategy consists on hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide and hydrogen peroxide. The average yield of extracted chitin (96.95% w) indicates that the cuticles of orthoptera are a rich source of chitin. Cuticle exhibit a heterogeneous morphology characterized by a compact structure with well-defined fibrous. For extracted chitin and after demineralization, we can appreciate important changes in the surface of material. We observed round shaped black spots indicated that they are composed almost exclusively by K2O and CaO (cuticle) in the other hand we observed several white taches behind black spots, here we suggest that white taches present chitin extracted. The most resistant orthoptera are the ones to survive and transform their properties by chemical process such as transformation of chitin to chitosan and physiological development such as age. In this study, we have found that the first generation has a great resistance to insecticides. After insecticide application we observed a descendant's resistance decreased a larger because sensitive insects have been selectively killed. After repeated applications resistant insects may comprise the minority. Finally we can said, insecticide resistance can be found in many types and we can conclude that physiological resistance and chemical resistance coexist together and cannot separate. In the physiological resistance, the insect populations may develop the ability to avoid or reduce lethal insecticide exposure. In contrast, chemical resistance refers to modification mechanisms, including reduced cuticle penetration and decreased or increased target site sensitivity. The extracted chitin sample and chitosan were characterized by several characterizations such as X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy SEM, FTIR and 1HRMN spectroscopy.

In this data we report on conductors polymers nanocomposites synthesized by in situ polymerization of aniline (ANI) and/or 4-aminobenzylamine (4-ABA) in presence of chromium montmorillonite (MMT-Cr+3) and ammonium persulfate as oxidizing agent. Homopolymers and copolymers (PANI-co-4-ABA) were prepared at various initial monomer composition and were characterized by Fourier transform Infrared (FT-IR) and UV–vis spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and cyclic voltammeter. The data describes the behavior of the corresponding homopolymers Poly (4-ABA) and (PANI) and showed that the in-situ polymerization produced real nanocomposites containing aniline and 4-aminobenzylamine units and films of products exhibit good electrochemical properties. Recently, several studies have indicated an increased interest in the scientific community regarding the application of Cannabis sativa plants, and their extracts, for medicinal purposes. This plant of enormous medicinal potential has been legalised in an increasing number of countries globally. Due to the recent changes in therapeutic and recreational legislation, cannabis and cannabinoids are now frequently permitted for use in clinical settings. However, with their highly lipophilic features and very low aqueous solubility, cannabinoids are prone to degradation, specifically in solution, as they are light-, temperature-, and auto-oxidation-sensitive. Thus, plant-derived cannabinoids have been developed for oral, nasal-inhalation, intranasal, mucosal (sublingual and buccal), transcutaneous (transdermal), local (topical), and parenteral deliveries. Among these administrations routes, topical and transdermal products usually have a higher bioavailability rate with a prolonged steady-state plasma concentration. Additionally, these administrations have the potential to eliminate the psychotropic impacts of the drug by its diffusion into a nonreactive, dead stratum corneum. This modality avoids oral administration and, thus, the first-pass metabolism, leading to constant cannabinoid plasma levels. This review article investigates the practicality of delivering therapeutic cannabinoids via skin in accordance with existing literature.

Personalized courseware authoring based on recommender system, which is the process of automatic learning objects selecting and sequencing, is recognized as one of the most interesting research field in intelligent web-based education. Since the learner’s profile of each learner is different from one to another, we must fit learning to the different needs of learners. In fact from the knowledge of the learner’s profile, it is easier to recommend a suitable set of learning objects to enhance the learning process. In this paper we describe a new adaptive learning system-LearnFitII, which can automatically adapt to the dynamic preferences of learners. This system recognizes different patterns of learning style and learners’ habits through testing the psychological model of learners and mining their server logs. Firstly, the device proposed a personalized learning scenario to deal with the cold start problem by using the Felder and Silverman’s model. Next, it analyzes the habits and the preferences of the learners through mining the information about learners’ actions and interactions. Finally, the learning scenario is revisited and updated using hybrid recommender system based on K-Nearest Neighbors and association rule mining algorithms. The results of the system tested in real environments show that considering the learner’s preferences increases learning quality and satisfies the learner.
