Abstract The study of title is the most important element in semiology. The reader enters into the next through title and gets help form it to understand. To analyze the construction and the content of story we need to have some investigation on title of it. Title has three different roles in the whole story; 1) It is as a sticker of story and it clarifies the feature of the story. 2) It has as an allegoric and symbolic role and the reader can get into the world of story through that. 3) It helps to figure the messages of story out. Categorization and the study of titles of war story in children and teenagers literature is one of the applicable approaches in story writing and processing the current study. Paying attention to the factors in choosing the titles of analyzing the construction including children and teenagers stories can help a lot. Titles are different in their simplicity or being compound or mental cases. The titles of stories in 60s are simpler. But being away of the war, we can see more compound and poetic titles. Sometimes the titles of stories especially in 60s are statement. And through this you can find out the message and content of story. The titles of stories are more identical rather than mental both in 60s and 70s. The mental titles refer to particular sites and real characters. Some of the titles of children and teenagers stories are simple and consisted of one portion. This approach was more applied in 60s than 70s. Most of the names combinations were of two or more lexemes. This tip is usually emotional. This can indicate that the willingness of writers aimed to simplicity. That’s because a child and teenager reader can get more relation whit emotional actions. Some story names are of just one statement. And the melody of the writers shows the simplicity of story is clear to readers; like existing the war lexemes in the title of story. Intra-textual and extra-textual factors have great role in choosing the titles of stories. The items that introduce the features of story and supply the background for conversation and the main text are called intra-textual elements. These elements talk about the features of text, topic and contents. The intra-textual factors which have great impact on war stories include numbers, things, themes, contents, characterization and imagery among which characterization and themes have had the greatest effect. Characterization is the most important process of creation of a story. Some of naming procedures are in relation with the story characters. There are three type of characterization in investigated stories. Sometimes the character of story is human body, sometimes animal or things. Theme and content have the specific importance in a story. Because they are not uttered clearly, based on the titles of the stories and their symbolic descriptions we can figurate out that the writers of 60s are willing to choose the names which have spiritual dimension. The most important themes which are used in teen and kids war stories are connected to war situations. We can refer to the lexemes of martyrdom, victory, hope, hometown loving, and struggling with enemy. And some events are specified to behind the war location. The usage of rhetoric elements in 70s is more than in 60s. These elements include simile, metaphor, personification, and symbol. Similes and metaphors are simple and sensible, personification is used a lot, and there is a great sing of usage of natural symbols. Extra-textual factors have indirect connection with the text. They talk about the outside world of the text. The extra-textual factors are applied in choosing titles or taken from the historical noble characters, or refer to a place or event in history. Among these factors attentive consideration to specific sites has great role in choosing the title. The outlook and approach of kids and teenager has been always positive. This tip in story titles is visible for these reasons: A) in scene decoration, there has been great attention to color and time. Caring about light colors more than dark ones. B) The content of title is specified to the war than behind it. According to titles, we can say that the willingness of writers is for these reasons: A) Willingness of writers to nature and outer matters. B) Their attention to events in war and its results. C) The usage of writers’ hometown in titles of most of stories. D) Caring about identical titles such as characters and actual places.

This article is a theoretical reflection over the practical experience of translating into Italian the Notes from underground by F.M. Dostoyevsky. The translator is also the author of this article. The need for a new translation was based on the fact that having compared different available Italian translations, while reading the text in group following the principles and techniques of analysis of the reading method “from subject to subject”, it became obvious that some important and very exact words of the author had been translated carelessly. Furthermore, it became evident that sometimes Italian translations are so different from one another that it seems readers are coping with absolutely different texts. As the chosen reading method allows entering the depth of the text and listening to what is told by the author himself, the scale of the problems connected with translation became obvious: inexact translation choices influence first of all the level of the text the author himself speaks. In the article are given and analyzed several examples of the kind of problems the translator had to solve, and it is shown that when the translator precisely understands the problem he is due to face relatively to the meaning that the author put in the text, the solution of the problem is often possible without having to use commentaries. The examples deal with the problem of translating the title, with how to translate more or less hidden bible quotes and with the problem of deciding whether to translate or simply transliterate the proper names of the main heroes. It is supported the thesis that the translator should work to find translation strategies that aim at translating precisely the author’s word without revealing what the author has intentionally decided not to say in an explicit way.

The paper explores the linguistic representation of concepts behind the titles of paintings produced by British and American artists depicting childhood-related scenes and characters. Sociolinguistic and linguocultural factors of titling are analysed along with the pragmatic and cognitive effect of art tokens used by British and American artists. The study singles out seven conceptual segments incorporating a number of nuclear and peripheral art tokens, which are in turn represented by concept-specific lexical units referring to the theme of childhood. Quantitative and semantic analyses of research data are implemented to suggest reasons for the uneven distribution of conceptual segments in terms of their representation in painting titles.

Nesta última dimensão, o desafio é que a comunidade de cada instituição, sem anular a sua identidade, potencie as funções que quer atribuir aos títulos., Choices and decisions made when writing academic genres involve several aspects, including those concerning the title, such as linguistic structures, punctuation marks, communicative strategies, length. These aspects impact the achievement of the socio-communicative objectives of the genre and the projection the text may attain among the academic community. This study focuses on the titles of master reports produced by students of pre-service teacher training master programmes in four Portuguese Higher Education institutions. In addition to characterizing the titles and identifying their predominant features, it aims at verifying whether such features can be considered as identity and distinctive marks of each institution, viewed as an academic writing community. The study, based on a corpus of 800 master reports, consisted of a comparative analysis of the titles, considering the following aspects: number of elements; structure; communicative strategies; length;the reference topedagogical and/orresearch dimensions; other indicators provided by Corpus Linguistics, such as word frequency, and keywords. According to the results, there are differences between the HE institutions regarding some aspects of the titles: number of elements, syntactic-semantic structures, strategies, keywordsand the salience of pedagogical and research dimensions. The predominance of certain choices, according to the HE institution, may suggest that each institution constitutes itself as a local academic writing community with its identity characteristics. The differences point to their functioning as scientific communities, discursive communities and also academic writing communities. Concerning this last dimension, by being aware of these characteristics, each communitymay enhancethe functions assignedtothe titles., (undefined)

158. Making sense of 'buzzword' as a term through co-occurrences analysis

Buzzword ,Vogue word ,Google Scholar ,Co-occurrence ,Title ,Science (General) ,Q1-390 ,Social sciences (General) ,H1-99 - Abstract
The study argues that while the existing research on buzzwords mainly involves the functional and pragmatic analysis of their individual specimen, such as “engagement”, “synergy” or “development”, an alternative approach can be implemented to look into the nature and immediate implications behind the term in question. The suggested approach involves investigating the occurrences of the term proper as opposed to analysing individual buzzwords. The authors hypothise and demonstrate that linguistic context of the term “buzzword”, i.e. the peculiarities of its occurrence alongside different language units and patterns, may provide credible inferences concerning the key properties attached to the term and afford some illuminating perspective on the prevailing attitudes towards it. The study uses titles of research and newspaper articles retrieved from Google Scholar as material for the research due to better representation of the term in titles as opposed to full texts, as well as titles' higher informativity and better descriptive saturation. Apart from the prevailing focus on the immediate linguistic context surrounding the term, the inferences made in this study also stem from the frequency data showing how often a certain feature of buzzwords is being mentioned in the titles. The study showed that while the greatest emphasis is being placed on the field of use and temporal lifecycle of buzzwords, the attitudes towards them can be best of all described by examining the place of the term in oppositions. As illustrated in the paper, these oppositions reflect the idea of the term's inferior status by opposing it to more favourable concepts.

This article discusses the trend of using one-word titles in literature and film. It suggests that this concision may be influenced by our shorter attention spans due to technology. The article provides examples of books and movies with one-word titles and explores the idea that the abundance of choices in our modern world has made us more decisive and drawn to succinct labels. The author also mentions that trends in titles, like in fashion, are cyclical. [Extracted from the article]

This thesis proposes elements for a cognitive anthropology of visual art. Most works of art are human-made objects that cannot be approached in purely functional terms, and as such they frustrate important cognitive expectations that people have about artefacts. For this reason, it is hypothesised that art triggers speculation about the artist’s intention, and that it is intuitively approached as a form of communication. By application of Bloom’s (1996) theory of artefact categorisation, and Sperber and Wilson’s (1986/1995) relevance theory of communication, a series of predictions are generated for art categorisation (or definition), art appreciation, and art cultural distribution. Two empirical studies involving more than 1,000 participants tested the most important of these predictions. In study 1, a relationship was found between how much a series of works of art were liked and how easy they were to understand. Study 2 comprised four experiments. In experiment 1, a series of hyperrealistic paintings were preferred when they were labelled as paintings than when they were labelled as photographs. In experiments 2a and 2b, a series of paintings were considered easier to understand and, under some conditions, were preferred, when they were accompanied by titles that made it easier to understand the artist’s intention. In experiment 3, a series of artefacts were more likely to be considered “art” when they were thought to have been created intentionally than when they were thought to have been created accidentally. The results of studies 1 and 2 confirmed the predictions tested, and are interpreted in the framework of relevance theory. The art experience involves speculation about the artist’s intention, and it is partly assessed as a form of communication that is constrained by relevance dynamics. Implications for anthropology of art, psychology of art, and the art world are discussed.

AESTHETICS - Abstract
Our study of the title and its importance in the Saudi feminist novel is based on how the title opens to the text and the visions intensified by the text at the center of the speech. Thus, the title is a textual case with its extensions and interpretations through which we approach the text as well as the interpretations and extensions through which we approach the title. Through the title, going to the analysis is not only meant to talk about its composition and semantics, but also to reveal the close links between it and the text and, on the other hand, to discover the strength of the title in the enrichment of the vision. Sovereign nations generally exert control over land within the individual nation's boundaries. This is done for a variety of reasons including the political and economic. There is nothing wrong with that as the essence of sovereignty lies in exclusivity. Economic considerations, however, demand some level of relaxation of government control on land for investment purposes to galvanise development. Such relaxation of control is usually entrenched in the enabling law that regulates land administration. Nigeria has witnessed such regulatory land instruments operated in different regions of the country from the colonial regime until the unifying Land Use Act of 1978. The Nigerian courts' interpretations of the provisions of that Act have continued to attract controversy, not least the recent Supreme Court decision in Huebner suggesting that aliens cannot hold interest in land in Nigeria. The article dissects that decision, highlighting the social and economic implications with inferences drawn from cognate jurisdictions, arriving at the conclusion that the Supreme Court could not be right in its interpretation of that piece of Nigerian legislation and that the social and economic implications of such decisions cannot be underestimated. - Abstract
A title constitutes special importance in literary works, including poetry, as it is considered the spearhead from which the recipient starts to uncover the veil of the text and understand its connotations, as it is the focal point in this work, so the title of the poem constitutes an important textual structure in monitoring its aesthetics, so the title invoked the interest of poets to achieve poetry in it since it's considered a text that has its independent existence and its own entity. From here, this study came to theory and practice to answer a number of questions, revolving around the concept of the title in the past and present, and about the importance of the title in modern literary criticism, as well as about the structure of those titles and their connotations in the poetic code that is being studied. These questions were concluded by talking about the functions of a title as determined by modern semiotic studies. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this paper the authors compare the two versions of the poetic dedication to P. A. Vyazemsky written by E. A. Boratynsky, the first one appeared in Pushkin’s “Sovremennik” magazine in 1836, the other one was published in Boratynsky’s book of verse “Sumerki” in 1842, and the untitled poem by V. V. Mayakovsky which appeared first in the book “Ya!” in 1913 and then in “Prostoe kak mychanie” in 1916. The transformations of the poems changed not only the meaning of the text but its function and played an important role in constructing of the artistic entity of the books. The authors pay attention not only to the minor changes of the text but also to the editorial and book printing details which are not less important for the meaning of the whole book. The writing of the Student Creativity Program (SCP) titles has its appeal and uniqueness. One of which can be seen in the process of forming words in the form of acronyms. This article aims to describe the process and results of the formation of acronyms on the writing of SCP titles funded in 2018. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. This research data are in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and sentences in the SCP titles. The source of research data is the SCP titles from 5 fields in 2018. Data collection uses observation and note-taking techniques. The method of data analysis is the constituent analysis method and its expansion techniques, namely techniques of removing, inserting, replacing, and expanding. The data validity test uses theory triangulation. The results show that the formation of acronyms produced five forms of acronyms on the writing of the SCP titles, namely acronyms derived from two words, three words, four words, five words, and more than five words. Three acronym formation processes are found, namely using the initial letters of words, using syllables or fragments of words, and using mixes of initial letters of words and syllables or fragments of words.

The article contains comparative analysis of acquisitive prescription, its legal and factual preconditions and consequences in Latvian law. The purpose of the acquisitive prescription is to remove legal uncertainty created by internal defects of the conditions of acquisition of the property inter vivos. However, the complex system of acquisitive prescription under Latvian law does not always achieve this goal. It seems that the system is overly complicated. The cases in which acquisitive prescription is the last resort for the claimant to ascertain his or her ownership of immovable property are leaving the question of ownership unsolved. Introduction of another, simplified alternative to the existing one could be helpful for the solution of numerous cases of failed attempts to prove ownership.

In general, epithets outline a deity’s character, describe his/her physical appearance and attributes, and give information about the cult. Epithets immediately follow the deity’s name and can be made up of several distinct components. In hymns and ritual scenes, epithets often occur in long strings. It is useful to distinguish between epithets that identify a unique aspect of a deity’s personality (“personal epithets”) and epithets that refer to a particular situation or activity (“situational epithets”); in the latter case, the epithet can be applied to multiple deities.

Introduction: One problem in conducting scientometric thematic analysis is selecting which of the bibliographic fields containing the topics can be analyzed. This study aimed to compare subject fields of documents to determine the field or a combination of fields which are suitable for conducting a complete and proper thematic analysis in scientometrics. Methods: This was a descriptive research with content analysis approach. Scientific products in the field of functional gastrointestinal disorders were extracted from the Scopus database. The analysis was done on 13798 documents, which included title, author keywords, and index keywords. After clustering using the K-Means method, and calculating the inclusion index for created clusters, the similarity of keywords between the three fields was determined. Results: There was a high similarity between the index and the author keywords (87.71 and 85.71). The low amount of the index in the title field and the index keywords (0) also suggested that there was little similarity between the controlled vocabulary and the keywords used by the authors in the title, and that authors did not use the preferred vocabulary in the title. Conclusion: Using the words of the title field will show the results of the natural language analysis. However, if the purpose of a study is categorizing terms, the use of index keywords field will be the most appropriate.

The communicative situation of an oral existence (statements playback) olonkho in the Yakut folklore has not yet been the independence object of study, researchers have fixed their attention on it, and left almost no full descriptions of these situations. Therefore, today, when the public decides the problems revival of the narration of folk tales of the Olonkho traditions, the problem is the source. In the article authors on the example of the analysis of one work put forward idea that as a reliable source for reconstruction of a context of narration of the epic in the XIX-XX centuries. It may be recognized as individual works of Yakut writers-realist of the pre-revolutionary and Soviet periods. The main method of analysis defined in the cultural-historical approach, which allows you to explore the product in its relationship with the historical tradition and social environment. When studying the topic «olonkho and olonkho-teller» further use contextual and functional analysis techniques. The authors found that in the novel, consisting of a chain of 42 event-scenes the main character›s life, the theme of «olonkho and olonkho-teller» disclosed in eight episodes, runs through the entire work. The study of the sources shows that the prototype olonkho-teller characters are historical figures Tatta and Vilyuysky regions, who lived in the late XIX - early XX centuries. Scenes analysis of oral performance olonkho the parameters: the characters, time, place, situation performance allowed to disclose that the product is not fixed calendar olonkho confinement performance. It is executed when the circumstances in any season: spring, summer, autumn and winter. The place of performance of the epic works in all scenes depending on the season is winter or summer type of dwelling. Olonkho is performed in the narrow circle of family or neighbors in the presence of the traveler. Traveler is a story-teller or the listener. In the story discovered the functioning of the title of olonkho in oral communication. On the basis of its analysis, the authors argue that the title of the text in this case serves as a substitute for the text and suggests that the customer olonkho and its performers have common cultural presuppositions, are carriers of one epic environment that the customer knows the repertoire of epic story-tellers. In the context of oral communication using the title of the text varies. It is as the case may be complete, incomplete and brief. As a result, it should be noted that Reas Kulakovsky’s story «Agam ologo” is a historical work, which should be considered as folklore and ethnographic source.

A sample of 1090 admiralty instance decrees from across the seventeenth century includes 234 that concerned either the ownership or co-owner management of merchant vessels. Some of these rulings issued by the high court of admiralty and found at the National Archives indicate what was usually required to prove title to a ship or shares in it. Some suggest whether London's civilian judges favoured crown subjects who were quarrelling with foreigners over vessels and helped to enlarge England's commercial fleet by both their prize and instance decrees. Roughly two-thirds of the decisions define the duties and powers of shareholders in managing a ship. What were their obligations to maintain it or to recover it if it were captured? Could they dismiss the ship's master for incompetence or misconduct if he were a fellow owner? Which investors could choose the ship's voyages? The cases reveal costs to litigants in time and fees. And finally they indicate that common law prohibitions ended admiralty governance of most ownership matters late in the century, lending weight to suggestions by M.J. Prichard and D.E.C. Yale about the decline of the instance jurisdiction and the civilians' reaction to their loss of authority. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The degree index is an indicator that assesses the quality of a higher-level educational institution. At the Instituto Tecnológico de San Luis Potosí, the value of the degree index is 6%, AD2012-EJ2017 generation, for the Business Management Engineering study plan. The objective of the article is to analyze the causes that impede the graduation process of the graduates of this career, in order to propose strategies that allow increasing the degree index of graduation. It was carried a documentary review out on the degree process at the institution and, it applied a questionnaire a sample of graduates who have not yet graduated. It was concluded that the requirements with the highest frequency of non-compliance are: the accreditation of a foreign language, the lack of time in the working graduates, and the lack of knowledge, by the graduates, of the different degree options. The aim of this paper is to outline the types of titles of foreign films and series. The author gives their basic division to titles adopted in their original forms, translated, and completely different from the originals, i.e. substituted by different names. Attention is paid to the specifics of individual approaches that consist mainly in application of functional equivalence, formal transformation, variable changes of structure of the original titles (enlargement, explication, reduction, etc.), lexical substitution, semantic modification, and analogy. In the case of the Czech titles the occurrence of selected types of language means, e.g. colloquial or expressive elements is mentioned. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The genetic counseling profession is 50 years old, and is growing and diversifying. Despite this evolving context, no studies have formally explored the continuing relevance or appropriateness of the title "genetic counselor." We used a qualitative research methodology (interpretive description) to explore this concept among thought leaders within the genetic counseling profession. We conducted 12 semi‐structured telephone interviews, which ranged in length from 18 to 50 min, and transcribed them verbatim. Analysis and data collection unfolded in parallel. The following themes regarding participants' perceptions of the title "genetic counselor" emerged from the data: (1) others misunderstand "genetic counselor"; (2) the term "counselor" in our title produces complex and conflicting emotions; (3) risks of changing our title outweigh the benefit; and (4) we need to own the narrative surrounding our title. Despite recognition that the title "genetic counselor" may not capture the full range of diverse roles members of the profession play, our data reveal overall support for the continued relevance and appropriateness of the title, for the value of the strength that comes from unity within the profession, and for efforts to highlight that which unites us across roles, disciplines, and specialties. GOAL (Psychology) ,MEDICAL prescriptions ,PROPERTY rights ,ACQUISITION of property - Abstract
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

199. Distriktssköterskans upplevelse av sin nya yrkesroll : Efter nyligen genomgången specialistutbildning

- Abstract
The professional role of the district nurse has a long history, and the competence description is extensive and sets great demands, at the same time it includes much of what is in the competence description for nurses. How the tasks are separated between the roles can be difficult to define and varies depending on the workplace. Studying and becoming a specialist nurse and changing titles can be a multifaceted adjustment for many nurses. Aim: The study examined the district nurse´s experience of her new professional role when returning to the same workplace after completing district nursing training. Method: The study was conducted using a qualitative method with an inductive approach. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with eleven district nurses who were employed at health centers in south-eastern Sweden. The material was analyzed using a qualitative content analysis. Results: The analysis resulted in three categories with seven subcategories. The categories were: A new title, where the new title entailed conflicting feelings and the experience of how the district nurses were valued. Professional development, a clear sense of independence, and a new approach towards patients emerged. A contradictory specialist competence, there were conflicting descriptions of how the district nurses had the same tasks as the nurses but still had specific areas of responsibility. Conclusion: Returning to the same workplace after completing district nurse training can be experienced in many ways. How the workplace is structured, and the distribution of tasks affects how much change the district nurse experiences when she returns. Colleagues´ reactions and expectations of the new title make them both proud and troubled. Having the education paid for makes the experience more positive and contributes to feeling valued.

We aim in this study to monitor the strategic foundations on which the phenomenon of selective and conscious assignment of the title system based in the Algerian poet "Faisal Lahmar"’s Collection "Qal...Faddel" by modeling it according to the schema of literary communication. Through which we control the interactive movement of the title within the communicative environment in which it participates in reporting through "relationship" and "function". Those, which change according to the nature of the poles, related to this textual threshold, in order to monitor its functional effectiveness in the semantic production act associated with achieving a linguistic structure through which the discourse load is concentrated or through its longitudinal fragmentation in the folds of the text. Moreover, we examine it as a textual value that aims to win the pragmatic bet to work with the writer’s authorization on aesthetic and intellectual values that aim to multiply the effect on the reader., Nous visons dans cette étude à suivre les fondements stratégiques sur lesquels repose le phénomène d'attribution sélective et consciente du système de titre fondé dans le Recueil "Qal...Faddel" du poète algérien "Faisal Lahmar" en le modélisant selon le schéma de communication littéraire.
