ObjectiveIn recent years, the lung-gut axis has received increasing attention. The oxidative stress and systemic hypoxia occurring in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are related to gut dysfunction. That suggests probiotics have a potential therapeutic role in COPD. In this study, we therefore evaluated the ameliorative effects of probiotics on COPD.MethodsSearches were conducted in four electronic databases, including PubMed, Cochrane Library, the NIH clinical registry Clinical Trials. Gov and EMBASE. The data extracted was analyzed statistically in this study using StataMP17 software, with mean difference (MD) chosen as the effect size for continuous variables, and the results expressed as effect sizes and their 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Standardized Mean Difference (SMD) was used if the data units were different.ResultsWe included three randomized, controlled, double-blind clinical trials and five randomized controlled animal studies. The results show that for lung function, probiotics improved %FEV1 in COPD patients (MD = 3.02, 95%CI: 1.10, 4.93). Additionally, in inflammation, probiotics increased IL-10 (SMD = 1.99, 95%CI: 1.02, 2.96) and decreased inflammatory markers such as TNF-α (SMD= -2.64, 95%Cl: -3.38, -1.90), IL-1β (SMD= -3.49, 95%Cl: -4.58, -2.40), and IL-6 (SMD= -6.54, 95%Cl: -8.36, -4.73) in COPD animals, while having no significant effect on C-reactive protein (MD = 0.30, 95%CI: -0.71, 1.32) in COPD patients. For lung structure, probiotics significantly reduced the degree of pulmonary collagen fibers deposition in COPD animals (SMD = -2.25, 95%CI: -3.08, -1.41).ConclusionOverall, probiotics may be an additional approach that can improve COPD. Lonicerae Japonicae Flos (LJF, called Jinyinhua in China), comes from the dried flower buds or flowers to be opened of Lonicera japonica Thunb. in the Lonicera family. It has a long history of medicinal use and has a wide range of application prospects. As modern research advances, an increasing number of scientific experiments have demonstrated the anticancer potential of LJF. However, there is a notable absence of systematic reports detailing the anti-tumor effects of LJF. This review integrates the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with contemporary pharmacological techniques, drawing upon literature from authoritative databases such as PubMed, CNKI, and WanFang to conduct a comprehensive study of LJF. Notably, a total of 507 compounds have been isolated and characterized from the plant to date, which include volatile oils, organic acids, flavonoids, iridoids, triterpenes and triterpenoid saponins. Pharmacological studies have demonstrated that LJF extract, along with components such as chlorogenic acid, luteolin, rutin, luteoloside, hyperoside and isochlorogenic acid, exhibits potential anticancer activities. Consequently, we have conducted a comprehensive review and summary of the mechanisms of action and clinical applications of these components. Furthermore, we have detailed the pharmacokinetics, quality control, and toxicity of LJF, while also discussing its prospective applications in the fields of biomedicine and preventive healthcare. It is hoped that these studies will provide valuable reference for the clinical research, development, and application of LJF.

Background: Traditional association studies of cardiovascular disease (CVD) categorizations and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) yielded conflicting findings. We propose a novel classification system based on fundamental characteristics of cardiovascular patients, such as age, body mass index, waist–hip ratio, to more accurately assess the impact of PUFAs (plasma measures) such as omega (ω)-3 (n–3) and ω-6 on mortality in cardiovascular patients. Methods: Principal component analysis and k-means clustering were used to determine the CVD subtype. Variables included age, body mass index, waist–hip ratio, diastolic blood pressure, systolic blood pressure, total cholesterol, total triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol, apolipoprotein B:apolipoprotein A1, glycated hemoglobin, creatinine, albumin, C-reactive protein, white blood cell count, platelet count, and hemoglobin concentration. The association of PUFAs with all-cause, cardiovascular, and ischemic heart disease (IHD) mortality in patients with CVD was prospectively evaluated using restricted cubic splines and Cox proportional risk models. Results: Among the 35,096 participants, 3,786 fatalities occurred. Three distinct CVD subtypes were identified, with cluster 3 characterized by older age, male gender, and low high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol, having the highest risk of mortality. Clusters 2 and 3 had the highest DHA and ω-6/ω-3 ratios, respectively, compared with Cluster 1. The protective effects of total PUFAs, ω-3, and DHA were mainly reflected in all-cause mortality and were more significant in clusters 2 and 3. Furthermore, the ω-6/ω-3 ratio of the highest quartile increased risk of all-cause [Q3: hazard ratio (HR): 1.14, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.00, 1.29; Q4: HR: 1.41, 95% CI: 1.24, 1.61], CVD (Q4: HR: 1.36, 95% CI: 1.07, 1.75), and IHD mortality (Q4: HR: 1.17, 95% CI: 1.12, 2.03) in cluster 3 compared with the first quartile. Conclusions: Our findings highlight the heterogeneity of associations observed for the same type of PUFAs across distinct clusters. This association may be elucidated by the intricate interplay of various factors, encompassing inflammation, lipid metabolism, and cardiovascular health.

Purpose: This study aims to conduct a network meta-analysis to compare the clinical efficacy of seven distinct non-pharmacological therapies for knee osteoarthritis. We hope that our research findings can provide reference for clinical practitioners in formulating treatment plans. Methods: Through a computer-based search, we systematically retrieved randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on non-pharmacological therapies for knee osteoarthritis from eight databases, including CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Scopus, and The Cochrane Library. Following screening, data extraction, and methodological quality assessment, relevant data were included and analyzed using R 4.2.3 software. Results: A comprehensive analysis of 24 RCTs involving 2582 patients encompassed seven diverse non-pharmacological therapies. The efficacy rankings, based on Visual Analog Scale (VAS) scores, were as follows: shock wave therapy > needle-knife > laser therapy > acupuncture > ultrasound > exercise > transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation. Similarly, based on Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC) total scores, the efficacy rankings were as follows: shock wave therapy > needle-knife > laser therapy > acupuncture > ultrasound > transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation > exercise. Among the three WOMAC subscales, the efficacy rankings for non-pharmacological therapies were as follows: For stiffness: laser therapy > exercise > shock wave therapy > acupuncture > needle-knife > ultrasound > transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation; For daily activities: shock wave therapy > laser therapy > needle-knife > acupuncture > ultrasound > transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation > exercise; For pain: shock wave therapy > needle-knife > laser therapy > acupuncture > exercise > transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation > ultrasound. Conclusion: Based on the currently limited research, we can prioritize the use of shockwave therapy to treat patients with knee osteoarthritis. However, it is essential to emphasize that further rigorous and well-designed randomized controlled trials are necessary to validate the conclusions drawn from this study.

The van der Waals itinerant ferromagnet Fe5GeTe2 has recently aroused great attention for the promising in spintronic devices applications. For such applications, the intrinsic magnetic properties such as magnetocrystalline anisotropy and room-temperature Curie temperature play the key role, both of which depend on the localized feature of its itinerant 3d electrons of Fe. Here, we study the localized feature of the itinerant 3d electrons of Fe of Fe5GeTe2. The results of Fe5GeTe2 single crystal show that the inverse susceptibility well fits the Curie–Weiss law above the paramagnetic Curie temperature TΔ ≈ 300 K, and the saturated magnetization follows a spin wave model with a power law of 1.525 below 30 K, both of which identify the strongly localized feature. Furthermore, the Rhodes–Wohlfarth ratio of approximately 2.4 of Fe5GeTe2 is higher than the value of 2.14 of vdW itinerant ferromagnet Fe3GeTe2, implying that the localized extent of the former is slightly lower than the latter. Vanadium dioxide ( VO 2) as a typically strongly correlated material has an attractive near-room-temperature metal–insulator transition (MIT). This transition shifted between metallic rutile and insulating monoclinic phases can be reversed by external thermal stimulation, accompanied by alterations in the lattice structure and electronic energy band structure, which bring about drastic changes in optical, electrical, thermal, and mechanical properties. Based on these unique characteristics, the VO 2 -integrated element can be utilized in the versatile transduction that converts indirect measurable factors into detectable physical quantities, representing a leap forward in sensing technology and facilitating the development of advanced systems toward an unprecedented level of sensitivity and responsiveness. In this perspective, we review the multifunctional advantages of VO 2 , driven by its thermally induced MIT, which transforms its crystal and electronic structures, leading to changes in optical, electrical, thermal, and mechanical properties. Our paper highlights that VO 2 can serve as a high-performance transduction element, leveraging its attractive properties to facilitate the conversion of various variations into measurable signals, thereby enabling diverse advanced applications. To maximize the advantages of VO 2 , we identify the key challenges and opportunities related to this material, offering guidance and recommendations for future research directions. ObjectivesTo investigate the prevalence of high cancer risk and its influencing factors among women aged 35 – 64 years in the agricultural and herding areas of Hinggan League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and to provide evidence for local breast cancer prevention and control in the population. MethodsFace-to-face interview with a self-designed questionnaire, clinical examination, and breast cancer screening were conducted from January to December 2022 among 5 000 women aged 35 – 64 years recruited by random sampling in the agricultural and herding areas of six prefectures/counties/banners of Hinggan League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. High risk for breast cancer was assessed using the Gail model according to the determinants listed in the Guidelines and Specifications for Breast Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment of China Anti Cancer Association – 2021. Multivariate non-conditional logistic regression model was used to analyze the main factors influencing the high risk of breast cancer among the participants. ResultsOf the 49 831 valid participants, 13 334 (26.76%) were classified as being at high risk for breast cancer. The multivariate non-conditional logistic regression analysis showed that the participants with the following characteristics were more likely to be at high risk for breast cancer: age 45 – 64 years, Mongolian ethnicity, education of middle school and above, menopausal status, family history of breast cancer, history of breast surgery or biopsy, and breast skin changes on palpation; whereas belonging to other ethnic minorities, living with family members, and previous breast examination were protective factors against being at high risk for breast cancer. ConclusionThe proportion of individuals at high risk of breast cancer was relatively low among women aged 35 – 64 years in the agricultural and herding areas of Hinggan League, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Age, ethnicity, education level, whether living with family members, menopausal status, family history of breast cancer, ever having had a breast examination, history of breast surgery or biopsy, and breast skin changes on palpation are the main influencing factors for having a high risk of breast cancer among women.

This paper summarized the nursing practicve of a newborn with congenital bilateral chylothorax. The key points of nursing included intensive nursing management of airway, closed thoracic drainage nursing, correct evaluation of neonatal pain and corresponding nursing measures, nursing and observation of special medication, strict implementation of disinfection and isolation measures, and total parenteral and enteral nutrition nursing at the same time. After careful treatment and nursing, the newborn baby was cured and discharged on the 44th day of hospitalization. Objective: To evaluate the antibiotic resistance of five foodborne Escherichia coli clinical isolates to ciprofloxacin, gentamicin and ampicillin. Methods: Based on the theory of electron transfer during bacterial energy metabolism and the introduction of resazurin as a redox probe, an electrochemical square wave voltammetry （SWV） method based on bladed tensin-mediated rapid identification of E. coli drug resistance was established. Results: The electrochemical square wave voltammetry values of E. coli at different concentrations mediated by resazurin were determined, and there was a good linear relationship between the E. coli concentration and the oxidized peak current （I） of resazurin in the range of 1.69×102～1.69×108 CFU/mL, with the regression equation of Y=-0.156 0X-2.965 5, and R2=0.977 5; When performing the determination of E. coli drug resistance, the drug sensitivity test standard was developed by Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute （CLSI）. The oxidized peak current （I0） of resazurin and the oxidized peak current （I-a） obtained by E. coli after directly interacting with resazurin were used as the control, and the oxidized peak current （I+a） obtained by E. coli after treating it with antibiotics and interacting with resazurin was determined. The value of bacterial activity VETA was introduced as VETA as an indicator for the identification of bacterial resistance by electrochemical square wave voltammetry, and established a rapid electrochemical drug sensitivity test method for E. coli mediated by resazurin. The established method was used to detect the resistance of five clinical isolates of foodborne E. coli to three antibiotics, and VETA=50 was used as the critical value for determining bacterial sensitivity and resistance, and the results of the drug sensitivity tests were all in accordance with the results of the paper diffusion method. The VETA=50 was used as the critical value for determining bacterial susceptibility and resistance, and all the results were consistent with the results of the paper diffusion method, and the paper diffusion method required 18 h to report the results, whereas this method required only 2 h. Conclusion: Our electrochemical square-wave voltammetry method based on the resazurin-mediated rapid discrimination of E. coli drug resistance is able to accurately and rapidly detect the antibiotics resistance of the five foodborne clinical isolates of E. coli to ciprofloxacin, gentamicin, and ampicillin.

Abstract Background Phytophthora sojae, a soil-borne oomycete pathogen, has been a yield limiting factor for more than 60 years on soybean. The resurgence of P. sojae (Phytophthora sojae) is primarily ascribed to the durable oospores found in soil and remnants of the disease. P. sojae is capable of infesting at any growth periods of the soybean, and the succeed infestation of P. sojae is predominantly attributed to long-lived oospores present in soil. Comprehending the molecular mechanisms that drive oospores formation and their significance in infestation is the key for effective management of the disease. However, the existing challenges in isolating and extracting significant quantities of oospores pose limitations in investigating the sexual reproductive stages of P. sojae. Results The study focused on optimizing and refining the culture conditions and extraction process of P. sojae, resulting in establishment of an efficient and the dependable method for extraction. Novel optimized approach was yielded greater quantities of high-purity P. sojae oospores than traditional methods. The novel approach exceeds the traditional approaches with respect to viability, survival ability, germination rates of new oospores and the pathogenicity of oospores in potting experiments. Conclusion The proposed method for extracting P. sojae oospores efficiently yielded a substantial quantity of highly pure, viable, and pathogenic oospores. The enhancements in oospores extraction techniques will promote the research on the sexual reproductive mechanisms of P. sojae and lead to the creation of innovative and effective approaches for managing oomycete diseases.

Abstract Background Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) are considered as a useful biomarker for early cancer diagnosis, which play a crucial role in metastatic process. Unfortunately, the tumor heterogeneity and extremely rare occurrence rate of CTCs among billions of interfering leukocytes seriously hamper the sensitivity and purity of CTCs isolation. Methods To address these, we firstly used microfluidic chips to detect the broad-spectrum of triple target combination biomarkers in CTCs of 10 types of cancer patients, including EpCAM, EGFR and Her2. Then, we constructed hybrid engineered cell membrane-camouflaged magnetic nanoparticles (HE-CM-MNs) for efficient capture of heterogeneous CTCs with high-purity, which was enabled by inheriting the recognition ability of HE-CM for various CTCs and reducing homologous cell interaction with leukocytes. Compared with single E-CM-MNs, HE-CM-MNs showed a significant improvement in the capture efficiency for a cell mixture, with an efficiency of 90%. And the capture efficiency of HE-CM-MNs toward 12 subpopulations of tumor cells was ranged from 70 to 85%. Furthermore, by using HE-CM-MNs, we successfully isolated heterogeneous CTCs with high purity from clinical blood samples. Finally, the captured CTCs by HE-CM-MNs could be used for gene mutation analysis. Conclusions This study demonstrated the promising potential of HE-CM-MNs for heterogeneous CTCs detection and downstream analysis. Graphical abstract

Abstract Forest above‐ground biomass (AGB) is often estimated by converting the observed tree size using allometric scaling between the dry weight and size of an organism. However, the variations in biomass allocation and scaling between tree crowns and stems due to survival competition during a tree's lifecycle remain unclear. This knowledge gap can improve the understanding of modelling tree biomass allometry because traditional allometries ignore the dynamics of allocation. Herein, we characterised allometric scaling using the dynamic ratio (r) of the stem biomass (SB) to AGB and a dynamic exponent. The allometric models were biologically parameterised by the r values for initial, intermediate and final ages rather than only a regression result. The scaling was tested using field measurements of 421 species and 2213 different‐sized trees in pantropical regions worldwide. We found that the scaling fluctuated with tree size, and this fluctuation was driven by the trade‐off relationship of biomass allocation between the tree crown and stem depending on the dynamic crown trait. The allometric scaling between SB and AGB varied from 0.8 to 1.0 for a tree during its entire lifecycle. The fluctuations presented a general law for the allometric scaling of the pantropical tree biomass and size. Our model quantified the trade‐off and explained 94.1% of the allometric relationship between the SB and AGB (93.8% of which between D2H and AGB) for pantropical forests, which resulted in a better fit than that of the traditional model. Considering the effects of the trade‐off on modelling, the actual biomass of large trees could be substantially greater than conventional estimates. These results highlight the importance of coupling growth mechanisms in modelling allometry and provide a theoretical foundation for better describing and predicting forest carbon accumulation.

Abstract Helicobacter pylori infection, a worldwide health issue, is typically treated with standard antibiotic therapies. However, these treatments often face resistance and non-compliance due to side effects. In this umbrella review, we aimed to comprehensively assess the impact of probiotics supplementation in different preparations on Helicobacter pylori standard treatment. We searched PubMed, Embase and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials in the Cochrane Library from inception to June 1, 2023, to identify systematic reviews with meta-analyses that focused on eradication rates, total side effects and other outcomes of interest. The most comprehensive meta-analysis was selected for data extraction. AMSTAR 2 was used to assess quality of meta-analyses. Overall, 28 unique meta-analyses based on 534 RCTs were included. The results suggests that probiotics supplementation with pooled probiotic strains was significantly associated with improved eradication rates (RR 1.10, 95% CI 1.06–1.14) and reduced risk of total side effects (RR 0.54, 95% CI 0.42–0.70) compared with standard therapy alone. Single-strained or multi-strained preparation of probiotics supplementation showed similar results. Despite Bifidobacterium spp. showing the highest potential for eradication, the study quality was critically low for most meta-analyses, necessitating further high-quality research to explore the optimal probiotic strains or their combinations for Helicobacter pylori treatment.aq_start?>Kindly check and confirm the edit made in article title.

Stress corrosion cracking (SCC) of welded joints is a significant issue that affects the widespread application of multimetal welded structures in aerospace, transportation, and other fields. This paper investigates the effect of laser shock peening (LSP) on the SCC of TC4/2A14 friction stir welded (FSW) joints with dissimilar metals. The microstructural evolution, mechanical properties, and corrosion behavior with and without LSP treatment were investigated using optical microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray analysis, electrochemical testing, and slow strain rate tensile testing (SSRT). The results showed that the LSP significantly refined the grains and induced work-hardening on the near-surface of the material. After LSP, the compressive residual stresses on the surface of the titanium and aluminium sides were −817.6 MPa and −153.6 MPa for the joint, respectively. Corrosion resistance was also improved, with the self-corrosion current density on the Al side of the joints reduced by 77% and the SCC susceptibility index (Issrt) reduced from 0.140 to 0.121. The enhanced SCC resistance of the LSP-treated TC4/2A14 dissimilar metal FSW joints is primarily due to grain refinement, work-hardening effect, and high-level compressive residual stress. These factors not only enhance the material strength and improve the pitting resistance of the joints but also prevent the initiation and propagation of SCC.

The human vaginal epithelium is a crucial component of numerous reproductive processes and serves as a vital protective barrier against pathogenic invasion. Despite its significance, a comprehensive exploration of its molecular profiles, including molecular expression and distribution across its multiple layers, has not been performed. In this study, we perform a spatial transcriptomic analysis within the vaginal wall of human fetuses to fill this knowledge gap. We successfully categorize the vaginal epithelium into four distinct zones based on transcriptomic profiles and anatomical features. This approach reveals unique transcriptomic signatures within these regions, allowing us to identify differentially expressed genes and uncover novel markers for distinct regions of the vaginal epithelium. Additionally, our findings highlight the varied expressions of keratin ( KRT) genes across different zones of the vaginal epithelium, with a gradual shift in expression patterns observed from the basal layer to the surface/superficial layer. This suggests a potential differentiation trajectory of the human vaginal epithelium, shedding light on the dynamic nature of this tissue. Furthermore, abundant biological processes are found to be enriched in the basal zone by KEGG pathway analysis, indicating an active state of the basal zone cells. Subsequently, the expressions of latent stem cell markers in the basal zone are identified. In summary, our research provides a crucial understanding of human vaginal epithelial cells and the complex mechanisms of the vaginal mucosa, with potential applications in vaginal reconstruction and drug delivery, making this atlas a valuable tool for future research in women’s health and reproductive medicine.

On September 11， 2020， severe convective weather occurred in the southern part of Liaodong Peninsula， and wet downbursts appeared.The maximum surface wind gust at Dalian Jinzhou Desheng station reached 21.7 m·s-1.By using conventional observation data， Dalian Doppler radar data， ERA5 data and high-resolution mesoscale simulation data， the circulation background， convective environment and echo characteristics of this wet downburst was analyzed.The results show as follow： （1）the major synoptic system is shear line made up of southwest and southeast winds located to the east of upper-level cold vortex transformed by north-moving tropical cyclone.The mechanisms of convective initiation are surface convergence line and low-level jet.Coupling upper-level divergence enhances initial connection development.The convection system moved westward and landed on the frontal zone between the ground cold pool and the east warm air， and the convergence lifting effect increased， promoting higher organization and more severe of the convection system.（2）The highly warm and moist surrounding air and the instability are favorable conditions for convection.Before convection occurred， the sounding shows dry air overlapping moist air and "V" pattern.The lifting condensation level decreases distinctly.During the wet downburst， radar radial velocity shows mid-altitude radial convergence（MARC）， low-level divergence.Before and after the gale， high and low elevations all exhibits more than 45 dBZ reflectivity notch.The high reflectivity notch at high elevation appears prior to that at low elevation.Monitoring the changes of the high elevation reflectivity contributes to the early warning of wet downburst.

Abstract Obesity, a burgeoning global health issue, is increasingly recognized for its detrimental effects on the central nervous system, particularly concerning the integrity of the blood-brain barrier (BBB). This manuscript delves into the intricate relationship between obesity and BBB dysfunction, elucidating the underlying phenotypes and molecular mechanisms. We commence with an overview of the BBB’s critical role in maintaining cerebral homeostasis and the pathological alterations induced by obesity. By employing a comprehensive literature review, we examine the structural and functional modifications of the BBB in the context of obesity, including increased permeability, altered transport mechanisms, and inflammatory responses. The manuscript highlights how obesity-induced systemic inflammation and metabolic dysregulation contribute to BBB disruption, thereby predisposing individuals to various neurological disorders. We further explore the potential pathways, such as oxidative stress and endothelial cell dysfunction, that mediate these changes. Our discussion culminates in the summary of current findings and the identification of knowledge gaps, paving the way for future research directions. This review underscores the significance of understanding BBB dysfunction in obesity, not only for its implications in neurodegenerative diseases but also for developing targeted therapeutic strategies to mitigate these effects.

Abstract Transcription is crucial for the expression of genetic information and its efficient and accurate termination is required for all living organisms. Rho-dependent termination could rapidly terminate unwanted premature RNAs and play important roles in bacterial adaptation to changing environments. Although Rho has been discovered for about five decades, the regulation mechanisms of Rho-dependent termination are still not fully elucidated. Here we report that Rof is a conserved antiterminator and determine the cryogenic electron microscopy structure of Rho-Rof antitermination complex. Rof binds to the open-ring Rho hexamer and inhibits the initiation of Rho-dependent termination. Rof’s N-terminal α-helix undergoes conformational changes upon binding with Rho, and is key in facilitating Rof-Rho interactions. Rof binds to Rho’s primary binding site (PBS) and excludes Rho from binding with PBS ligand RNA at the initiation step. Further in vivo analyses in Salmonella Typhimurium show that Rof is required for virulence gene expression and host cell invasion, unveiling a physiological function of Rof and transcription termination in bacterial pathogenesis.

Objective To systematically assess the applicability of the clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) integrating Chinese and western medicine, thereby providing reference for enhancing their future usability. Methods PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, SinoMed, WanFang Data, and CNKI databases were searched for guidelines for the integration of Chinese and western medicine. Supplementary searches of Chinese Medical Association, Chinese Medicine Administration, MedSci websites, Website of China Association of Chinese Medicine, Medlive, Website of Dangdang, Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine and World Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine Societies were conducted. The search time frame was from inception of the databases to December 31, 2022. Four reviewers independently evaluated the implementability of clinical practice guidelines by using 'Clinical Practice Guideline (CPG) implementation evaluation tool'. Results A total of 61 integrative Chinese and western medicine guidelines were included. Of the guidelines assessed, 9 guidelines(14.75%) exhibited strong implementability, 40(65.57%) demonstrated average implementability, and 12 (19.67%) demonstrated poor implementability. Among the 5 domains, the dimensions of 'accessibility' and 'implementability' were found to be of high quality, while those of 'communication', 'ease of identification' and 'applicability' were relatively poor. Notably, compared to guidelines published between 2006—2016, those published between 2017—2022 showed improvements in the areas of 'identification' and 'application'. Conclusions The implementabilityof the existing clinical practice guidelines of the integrative Chinese and western medicine is average and needs to be improved. In the future, emphasis should be placed on the integration of medical education and research, publicity of the guidelines, continuous medical education and training, a more concise form of recommendations, application of the guidelines by clinicians, and the implementability of the integrative Chinese and western medicine guideline.
