There are a large number of trackless rubber-tyred vehicles in underground coal mines. The transportation is easily affected by moving surfaces, emergencies, and other factors. Traditional manual scheduling methods are inefficient and prone to problems such as idle, empty, and wasted vehicles. However, existing auxiliary transportation vehicle scheduling methods mostly focus on fixed tasks using discrete event optimization schemes. It breaks down the global model into local models, and lacks analysis of the overall situation of underground coal mines. In order to solve the above problems, a global scheduling model for trackless rubber-tyred vehicle in underground coal mines based on Baidu industrial solver is proposed. The design scheme of the information collection module, data modeling module, and industrial solver module in this model are introduced, as well as the global scheduling process for trackless rubber-tyred vehicles. This model adopts a global scheduling algorithm for trackless rubber-tyred vehicles based on 'batch solving and iterative optimization'. The vehicle scheduling problem is optimized and solved by Baidu industrial solver based on action adjust heuristic algorithm. It solves the problems of long solving time and easy getting stuck in local optimal solutions in traditional scheduling models. The experimental results show that the global scheduling model for trackless rubber-tyred vehicles based on Baidu industrial solver significantly reduces the number of vehicles used and improves vehicle operation efficiency compared to manual scheduling methods. The solution time for scheduling optimization is lower than that of the local scheduling model based on Gurobi solver. It is more suitable for large-scale complex scheduling tasks in underground auxiliary transportation scenarios.

Surface flashover that occurs on the surface of epoxy resin (EP) is one of the main causes of insulation failure in the power system. The newly emerging polar groups on the surface are highly desirable for enhancing the surface flashover performance of EP. Here, we present a facile ultraviolet (UV) irradiation method to enable the controlled introduction of C–OH and C = O groups on the EP surface. The resultant UV-irradiated EPs (UV-EPs) are highly uniform with little variation in surface roughness while exhibiting tunable polar content with the irradiation time. We also present the first systematic investigation into the effect of UV irradiation time on the surface flashover voltage of UV-EPs, with a maximum increase of 23.07% compared to the pristine EP. Mechanistic studies suggest that the enhancement of the surface flashover voltage is mainly dominated by the density of the deep trap, which is strongly dependent on the UV-induced C–OH and C = O groups on the surface. Besides that, the UV-EPs also display long-term stability due to the stable presence of polar groups, which further demonstrates the feasibility of this method for the development of EP with excellent properties. BackgroundMutations in PIEZO1 (Piezo type mechanosensitive ion channel component 1) cause human lymphatic malformations. We have previously uncovered an ORAI1 (ORAI calcium release-activated calcium modulator 1)-mediated mechanotransduction pathway that triggers lymphatic sprouting through Notch downregulation in response to fluid flow. However, the identity of its upstream mechanosensor remains unknown. This study aimed to identify and characterize the molecular sensor that translates the flow-mediated external signal to the Orai1-regulated lymphatic expansion.MethodsVarious mutant mouse models, cellular, biochemical, and molecular biology tools, and a mouse tail lymphedema model were employed to elucidate the role of Piezo1 in flow-induced lymphatic growth and regeneration.ResultsPiezo1 was found to be abundantly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells. Piezo1 knockdown in cultured lymphatic endothelial cells inhibited the laminar flow-induced calcium influx and abrogated the flow-mediated regulation of the Orai1 downstream genes, such as KLF2 (Krüppel-like factor 2), DTX1 (Deltex E3 ubiquitin ligase 1), DTX3L (Deltex E3 ubiquitin ligase 3L,) and NOTCH1 (Notch receptor 1), which are involved in lymphatic sprouting. Conversely, stimulation of Piezo1 activated the Orai1-regulated mechanotransduction in the absence of fluid flow. Piezo1-mediated mechanotransduction was significantly blocked by Orai1 inhibition, establishing the epistatic relationship between Piezo1 and Orai1. Lymphatic-specific conditional Piezo1 knockout largely phenocopied sprouting defects shown in Orai1- or Klf2- knockout lymphatics during embryo development. Postnatal deletion of Piezo1 induced lymphatic regression in adults. Ectopic Dtx3L expression rescued the lymphatic defects caused by Piezo1 knockout, affirming that the Piezo1 promotes lymphatic sprouting through Notch downregulation. Consistently, transgenic Piezo1 expression or pharmacological Piezo1 activation enhanced lymphatic sprouting. Finally, we assessed a potential therapeutic value of Piezo1 activation in lymphatic regeneration and found that a Piezo1 agonist, Yoda1, effectively suppressed postsurgical lymphedema development.ConclusionsPiezo1 is an upstream mechanosensor for the lymphatic mechanotransduction pathway and regulates lymphatic growth in response to external physical stimuli. Piezo1 activation presents a novel therapeutic opportunity for preventing postsurgical lymphedema. The Piezo1-regulated lymphangiogenesis mechanism offers a molecular basis for Piezo1-associated lymphatic malformation in humans.

The purpose of this study is to portray Special Rank Teachers' morality development in China. Interview data were collected from 14 Special Rank Teachers from 13 provinces in China in 2018. Analyses of the findings revealed that Special Rank Teachers' morality, like their other professional competences, follows a development progress. This study suggests a 'three-stage' framework for understanding Special Rank Teachers' development of teacher morality in China.

Workforce shortages in the field of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) have led to an increasing need for STEM outreach programs for high school students. This article presents an integrated approach to such efforts; government agencies, the host university, and local professional associations play meaningful roles in program design and implementation. This article also evaluates program effectiveness in increasing high school students' likelihood of studying STEM in college. Opening and end-of-program surveys, coupled with demographic data, provided rich information on participants' backgrounds and their responses to STEM exposure and intervention. A discrete choice model discovered participants' differential valuation of program effectiveness and quantified the factors that influenced participants' pursuit of STEM college education due to program participation. In addition to demographics and family culture, overall program experience is critical to the perceived benefits of STEM exposure. Findings can help educators and outreach program directors develop appealing STEM outreach curriculum.
