Objective To investigate the clinical outcome of the patients with hematologic malignancy recurrence following first allogenetic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) and receiving second transplantation from an alternative haploid-mismatched donor. Methods We retrospectively reported the clinical data of 11 patients with hematologic malignancies who underwent a second HSCT using a new haploidentical related donor (HRD) in our center between October 2013 and June 2021. At the second transplantation, all patients were in complete remission (CR). Six of them received donor lymphocyte infusion (DLI) after the second transplantation. The clinical prognosis of the patients was followed up to primarily explore the effect of secondary transplantation. Results The median follow-up was 9.4 (2.9~94.9) months. Of the 11 relapsed patients, 3 patients died of disease relapse and 1 patient died of lung infection, and the remaining 7 patients survived with CR. The 1-year overall survival (OS) rate was 77.9% (95%CI: 54.6%~ 99.9%), so was 1-year leukemia-free survival (LFS) rate. For the 6 patients receiving DLI, the 1-year OS rate was 83.3% (95%CI: 58.3%~99.9%). The cumulative incidence of relapse was 22.1% in the 11 patients. Conclusion A second HSCT using a new haploid-mismatched donor is a feasible strategy for the patients with hematologic malignancy recurrence after the first transplantation. It has no significant increase in treatment-related death, and shows a certain safety.

Background: To adapt the scientific evaluation tool for the confusion evaluation of health rumors and to test this tool to the confusion evaluation of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)-related health rumors on Chinese online platforms during the outbreak period of COVID-19in China. Methods: The design of our study was systematic evaluation of COVID-19-related health rumors. Retrieved from 7 rumor-repellent platforms, rumors about COVID-19 were collected during the publication from December 1, 2019, to February 6, 2020, and their origins were traced. Researchers evaluated rumors using the confusion evaluation tool in 6 dimensions(creators, evidence selection, evidence evaluation, evidence application, backing and publication platform, conflict of interest). Items were scored using a seven-point Likert scale. The scores were converted into percentages, and the median of rumors from different sources was compared with rank-sum test. Results: Our research included 127 rumors. Scores were converted to percentages, median and interquartile range are used to describe the data. The median score: creators 25.00%(interquartile range, IQR, 16.67-37.50%), evidence selection 27.78% (IQR, 13.89-44.44%),evidence evaluation 33.33% (IQR, 25.00-45.83%), evidence application 36.11% (IQR, 22.22-47.22%), backing and publication platform 8.33% (IQR, 4.17-20.83%), conflict of interest75.00% (IQR, 50.00-83.33%). Almost 40% rumors came from WeChat and the rumors with the lowest scores were concentrated on the WeChat platform. The rumors about prevention methods have relatively lower scores. Conclusion: Most rumors included were not highly confusing for evaluators of this project.WeChat is the "worst-hit area" of COVID-19 related health rumors. More than half rumors focus on the description of prevention methods, which reflects the panic, anxiety and blind conformity of the public under public health emergencies.

Structural materials such as ceramics, metals, and carbon fiber‐reinforced plastics (CFRP) are frequently threatened by large compressive and impact forces. Energy absorption layers, i.e., polyurethane and silicone foams with excellent damping properties, are applied on the surfaces of different substrates to absorb energy. However, the amount of energy dissipation and penetration resistance are limited in commercial polyurethane foams. Herein, a distinctive nacre‐like architecture design strategy is proposed by integrating hard porous ceramic frameworks and flexible polyurethane buffers to improve energy absorption and impact resistance. Experimental investigations reveal the bioinspired designs exhibit optimized hardness, strength, and modulus compared to that of polyurethane. Due to the multiscale energy dissipation mechanisms, the resulting normalized absorbed energy (≈8.557 MJ m−3) is ≈20 times higher than polyurethane foams under 50% quasi‐static compression. The bioinspired composites provide superior protection for structural materials (CFRP, glass, and steel), surpassing polyurethane films under impact loadings. It is shown CFRP coated with the designed materials can withstand more than ten impact loadings (in energy of 10 J) without obvious damage, which otherwise delaminates after a single impact. This biomimetic design strategy holds the potential to offer valuable insights for the development of lightweight, energy‐absorbent, and impact‐resistant materials. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Poly(styrene‐b‐isobutylene‐b‐styrene) (SIBS) is a biomedical elastomer with excellent overall properties. However, the low surface energy and the surface hydrophobicity of SIBS have limited its application as a human implantable material. To improve its biocompatibility, in this work, hyaluronic acid (HA) was introduced onto the surface of SIBS. Firstly, glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) and HA were employed to prepare GMA‐modified HA (GMHA) via grafting reaction. Due to the introduction of carbon–carbon double bonds on the side chain of HA, the GMHA could be used for free radical polymerization between SIBS. The effects of UV illumination time, GMHA concentration, and initiator concentration on the grafting ratio were investigated. FTIR, 1H NMR, and XPS confirmed the successful grafting of HA onto SIBS. The experimental results showed that the surface modification method not only ensured that the excellent properties of the SIBS would not be destroyed but also improved its surface properties successfully. Besides, the MTT assay indicated that the GMHA‐modified SIBS was not bio‐toxic, so it could meet the need to expand its use in the biomedical fields. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Temporal control of chain growth is a central challenge for photoinitiated active polymerization. In this work, we introduced an iridium salt complex‐based catalyst system to achieve fine temporal control of the chain growth process. By electrochemical analysis, compared with the pyran salt photocatalyst, it was found that the iridium salt complex could promote the chain transfer of active species to reversible addition‐fragmentation chain transfer polymerization (RAFT) reagent, thereby generating dormant species, which provided the possibility of time control of the polymerization process. Using this catalytic system, we successfully achieved homopolymerization of vinyl ethers with different substituents and random copolymerization with isobutyl vinyl ethers, which is not only pointed the way for broadening the monomer selection in the future, but also provided an innovative way to prepare new functionalized materials. ObjectiveThe level of health literacy is one of the important factors affecting health outcomes. Family is an important place to shape personality traits, and people with different personalities will adopt different lifestyles, which will lead to variations in health outcomes. Therefore, this article aims to explore the relationship between health literacy and personality and its influencing factors in different family structures.MethodsThis was a cross-sectional study with 1,406 individuals. A questionnaire was utilized to measure health literacy, personality and demographic variables, including family structure. Canonical correlation analysis (CCA) and hierarchical multiple regression analysis were used to examine the relation between health literacy and personality traits between two types of family structure.ResultsCCA showed that the canonical correlation coefficients were 0.309 (p < 0.001) and 0.347 (p < 0.001), in two-parent family and single-parent family, respectively. The openness of personality traits exhibited the highest correlation with health literacy. Compared with the remaining personality traits, openness yielded the strongest effect (β = 0.485 and β = 0.830) in two types of family structure, respectively. Education and monthly income were significantly associated with health literacy.ConclusionOur results support the relation between health literacy and personality traits in two types of family structure.

In order to measure the transmission error of the robot RV reducer accurately and analyze the influence of the load and input speed during the measurement process, then guide the measurement and application of the robot RV reducer, a robot RV reducer comprehensive test bench consisting of a control module, a measurement module, a software module and a mechanical module is built by selecting key test components, the transmission errors of RV-40E and RV-320E under different conditions are measured, and the transmission error curves are obtained. The relationships of transmission error between load, input speed and different models is fitted based on the experimental data, and the influence of load, input speed and stiffness on the transmission errors is analyzed. The results show that the transmission error of the robot RV reducer increases with the increase of the load and input speed, and decreases with the increase of the rigidity, and find that the influence of the load on the measured transmission error is third order, which has a greater impact.

Methods: A questionnaire survey of 2483 adolescents aged 12– 17 years in 148 cities in China was conducted using the Problematic Internet Use Scale, the Collaborative Social Support Scale, the Family Communication Scale, and the Loneliness Scale. The data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 26.0 and validated by AMOS 28.0. Structural equation modelling (SEM) was conducted to test the effects of problematic Internet use on adolescents' loneliness and the mediating effects of perceptions of social support and family communication. Results: There was a significant positive effect of adolescents' problematic Internet use on loneliness (B-0.471, P< 0.001), and the mediating effects of perceptual social support (0.003, 0.012) and family communication (0.008, 0.019) were found to play a chain effect between adolescents' problematic Internet use and loneliness, respectively. Use and feelings of loneliness played a chain mediating role (0.002, 0.006). Conclusion: This study identified the effects of adolescent problematic Internet use on loneliness and its mechanism of action, emphasized the importance of social support and family communication, and provided practical insights for improving family parenting styles and preventing and intervening in adolescent loneliness problems. ChinaMu is the largest sequence‐indexed Mutator (Mu) transposon insertional library in maize (Zea mays). In this study, we made significant improvements to the size and quality of the ChinaMu library. We developed a new Mu‐tag isolation method Mu‐Tn5‐seq (MuT‐seq). Compared to the previous method used by ChinaMu, MuT‐seq recovered 1/3 more germinal insertions, while requiring only about 1/14 of the sequencing volume and 1/5 of the experimental time. Using MuT‐seq, we identified 113,879 germinal insertions from 3,168 Mu‐active F1 families. We also assembled a high‐quality genome for the Mu‐active line Mu‐starter, which harbors the initial active MuDR element and was used as the pollen donor for the mutation population. Using the Mu‐starter genome, we recovered 33,662 (15.6%) additional germinal insertions in 3,244 (7.4%) genes in the Mu‐starter line. The Mu‐starter genome also improved the assignment of 117,689 (54.5%) germinal insertions. The newly upgraded ChinaMu dataset currently contains 215,889 high‐quality germinal insertions. These insertions cover 32,224 pan‐genes in the Mu‐starter and B73Ref5 genomes, including 23,006 (80.4%) core genes shared by the two genomes. As a test model, we investigated Mu insertions in the pentatricopeptide repeat (PPR) superfamily, discovering insertions for 92% (449/487) of PPR genes in ChinaMu, demonstrating the usefulness of ChinaMu as a functional genomics resource for maize.
