Cyber security threats can take different forms, such as threats that are indiscriminant and potentially destructive, threats that involve performance impacts and potential safety, and threats that deal with confidentiality and integrity. The use of wireless networks has been gradual in the industrial control systems industry due to security concerns. Ways of dealing with these threats are also presented.
