Even though development paradigm of software has been changing very fast at the beginning of 21st Centuries, there are just few studies of quality and estimation metrics appropriate for Web environment. So in this study after analyzing the correlation between the size of the final code and property of objects, three industrial real world projects written in ASP have been used for deriving programs with high possibilities of faults. And then the size of programs was analyzed to correlate with the number of classes or the number of methods through linear regression. Among the web software with the complex architecture or server, client and un, type or form file written in Javascript for client has the high correlation and the number of methods is well correlated with the size of final code.

A general scheme of the e-learning system for trend modeling is presented. Random Number Generator determines the length of time series extracted from the HTML-presented Fishery Time Series (FTS) database. The developed Web-environment combines computing and training components. The computing part covers the access to the database and the statistical computation procedures. The training part provides help and advice by the conducted dialogue between the student and the computer. Network resources are effectively shared to ensure fast communication between the server and the client computers. Programming techniques have been developed for the management of the training process.

This paper presents various methods of computer aided experiments in science education and their integration in Web environment as HTML documents. The concept of the virtual laboratory suitable for science teaching at the secondary school level is described. Some essentials and advantages of this approach are presented in the paper. They are illustrated with a concrete example of the course Integrated Science through Experiments that has been developed as a product of the European funded project Computerised Laboratory in Science and Technology Teaching within the Leonardo da Vinci II programme. The paper outlines the structure of the course accessible to the user via a tabular system of links.

Within a relatively short time, electronic commerce services have risen to become a core element of the Internet and Web environment. Findings published by Forrester Research have indicated that online retail sales in the United States exceeded $100 billion in 2003 1 , representing a 38% increase over the previous year. The US is by no means alone here, and the signs point towards continued growth in other regions as well. 2

As recently as 5 years ago, Web users were being advised to gauge Web site credibility by examining author credentials and expertise. Recent research shows, however, that users instead rely on a combination of factors such as design look, site structure, and usefulness of information when they judge Web sites. This article argues that this reliance on distributed credibility may be appropriate in a Web environment where authorship, credentials, and information sources are often not readily available for examination.

Personalized network marketing refers to the technique that allows network‐marketing decisions to be made based on the results of the collection and analysis of user profiles. In this paper, we propose an interactive questionnaire mechanism whose design objective is to produce timely and reliable user profile attributes in an incremental fashion through an intelligent interface accessible from web environment. Subsequently, a profile analyzer that utilizes data mining techniques is employed to select fitted users from the user profile database thus collected, and then feed the result back to the intelligent interface mechanism to improve the quality of the collected database profiles. Enabling technologies have led to the transformation of library services from traditional services incorporating card catalogs, printed books and periodicals, bibliographic instruction, in‐person/face‐to‐face reference, to new services and delivery modes incorporating: electronic collections, such as e‐books, e‐journals and databases; virtual reference services, and other online services. Innovation of new services that are peculiar to the online/Web environment is the trend in modern electronic libraries. During the last decade, many libraries, particularly those serving academic communities, have witnessed the emergence of new service paradigms in areas of information access and delivery, reference, instruction, technology facility and support to patrons. Libraries continue to harness new technologies to offer services in innovative ways to meet the changing needs of their patrons. This paper explores some of these emerging service paradigms in electronic libraries. The concept of “service paradigm” in this paper is used to refer to predominant service patterns.

The paper deals with a range of issues which arise in creating and developing material for web-based application in design education. It illustrates how innovative practice is being applied to address an existing problem of creating design awareness in future applicants to design courses in higher education and a broader base of secondary school children in general. It illustrates the way in which the richness of the multimedia web environment is used to deliver information, facilitate interactive project material, support off-line project activity and provide an updateable design resource.

SUMMARY Changes in the nature of scientific research have created new expectations for libraries supporting research. Several digital library initiatives offer customized digital library environments; however, these services typically do not provide users with personalized and shared collaborative environments. MyLibrary at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) provides scientists (as individuals or groups) with a personalized Web environment enhancing scientific collaboration independent of time and location. One of the unique characteristics of this capability is the ability to push recommendations to users and adapt the system further based on user interactions.

The present study focuses on the Internet activity of young children in order to examine how these children utilized the Internet and their potential in the uses of the Internet. The study sample consisted of 20 children, from both compulsory and pre-compulsory kindergarten. Two Internet learning environments were examined: (1) the ‘universal’ environment of the Web, where a search engine was used for navigation; and (2) the ‘modified’ Web environment, which was created in accordance with the abilities and level of young children. It was shown that young children who operated in a ‘modified’ Internet environment manifested better control of the uses of Internet interfaces and were better oriented in the Internet environment when compared with their activity in the ‘universal’ Internet environment. Another finding was that not all of the Internet uses constitute a meaningful learning environment for young children. In order for the environment to be advantageous for children, Internet uses must be structured in accordance with the children's levels of development and needs, with the emphasis on the use of the Internet as a source of information in parallel with concrete activity and teacher/adult mediation in the children's Internet activity.

The Open Standard Concept Modelling Ontology (CMO) with Extensions makes it possible to store parametric modelling semantics and parametric geometry in a Semantic Web environment. The parametric and geometrical part of CMO with Extensions is developed within the EU project Proficient. The nature of the Semantic Web with support for multiple inheritance and bidirectional relations is kept; this means an alternative way to store typical parametric behavior scripts. This paper describes the generic upper-ontology created to make this possible, the tools used to visualize the parametric geometry and some of the new Modelling Guidelines we developed during development of CMO with Extensions and several test cases. Within the EU project Proficient a link to existing data was very important; therefore import/export from/to the open standard IFC was researched. A beta version for conversion in both directions (IFC => CMO and CMO => IFC) of the geometry is created and will be discussed.

This article reports on the development of an interactive web environment, backed by a digital library, that supports the creation of new flag designs. Specifically, it supports the user through an iterative design process, guided by principles drawn from the field of Vexillology. The work has been motivated by a legally binding referendum on the issue in New Zealand, planned to occur in late 2015/early 2016.

Como resultado de la aplicación práctica del trabajo de grado, se creó un prototipo de una herramienta automatizada bajo ambiente web que permite el análisis y espacialización de enfermedades transmitidas por vectores (ETV) en el Departamento del Putumayo. Durante el desarrollo del trabajo se recolectó y analizó información relacionada con enfermedades transmitidas por vectores y por otro lado se analizaron las herramientas de uso libre que actualmente existen para el desarrollo de este tipo de aplicativos, seleccionando las que a juicio del autor del trabajo de grado y de la información técnica encontrada se ajustaban a los requerimientos de creación del prototipo. Las herramientas de desarrollo seleccionadas fueron: Mapserver 3.0.6, PHP 5.4.3, Javascript, JQueryMobile, HTML 5, GeoJSON, Google Maps y para el soporte de datos se utilizó el motor Postgresql 9.0 y las funciones espaciales de Postgis 2.0. El sistema se encuentra limitado a la geolocalización de puntos que se encuentren dentro del Departamento del Putumayo, para lo cual se realizan consultas espaciales utilizando las funciones st_within y GEOMETRYFROMTEXT de POSTGIS 2.0. Para la captura y representación de datos se requiere un navegador web que soporte HTML 5 y debe contar con internet, ya que el mismo es accesado a través de http. During the development of the work, information related to diseases transmitted by vectors was collected and analyzed and on the other hand, the free use tools that currently exist for the development of this type of applications were analyzed, selecting those that in the opinion of the author of the degree work and of the technical information found, they adjusted to the prototype creation requirements. The development tools selected were: Mapserver 3.0.6, PHP 5.4.3, Javascript, JQueryMobile, HTML 5, GeoJSON, Google Maps, and the Postgresql 9.0 engine and Postgis 2.0 spatial functions were used for data support. The system is limited to the geolocation of points that are within the Department of Putumayo, for which spatial queries are made using the st_within and GEOMETRYFROMTEXT functions of POSTGIS 2.0. For the capture and representation of data, a web browser that supports HTML 5 is required and must have internet, since it is accessed through http. Several options were created for user interaction with the system, among which are: a.- Coordinate evaluation, which will guarantee that a entered point is within the Putumayo Department, b.- Verification of entered points, which will allow make the point visible before storing it, c.- Record storage, d.- Data exchange options through the creation of GeoJson and XML files, e.- Online consultations of the stored information, representing the data in tables and in general information and data density maps and f.- An online user manual created with HTML. "Dieci anni di ecdotica. L’informatica e il web cambiano solo i mezzi o anche i fini della filologia testuale e, da una prospettiva più ampia, dell’ecdotica?" Questo articolo nasce da un incontro tematico dedicato all'evoluzione della filologia come potenzialmente determinata da informatica e Web. Una riflessione sulla ridefinizione del rapporto fra ambiti apparentemente antitetici è dunque necessaria per capire come teoria, metodologia e tecnica proprie dell'informatica possano contribuire a far ripensare l'editore su modi e forme dell'approccio ecdotico.

Collaborative filtering techniques in the Internet are a means to make predictions about the behavior of a certain user based on the observation of former users. Frequently in literature the exploited information is contained in the access-log files of web servers storing requested data objects. However with additional effort on the server side it is possible to register, from which to which data object a client actually navigates. In this article the profile of a user in a distributed web environment will be modeled by the set of his navigation decisions between data objects. Such a set can be regarded as a graph with the nodes being the requested data objects and the edges being the decisions. A method is presented to learn the distribution of such graphs based on distance functions between graphs and the application of clustering techniques. The estimated distribution is used to predict future navigation decisions of new users. Results with randomly generated graphs show properties of the new algorithm. A measure to estimate the prediction quality for observed profiles is presented.

Being recently increased interests of our healthcare, a host of symptoms-diagnostic sites has been introduced on the World Wide Web. But conventional healthcare sites provide users with only a very restricted functions. In this paper, we propose the use of Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) as a flexible symptoms-diagnostic tool that enables learning effects of ANNs (not expert`s knowledge) to be incorporated into the diagnostic process. We develop a novel algorithm for predicting patient\`s disease that satisfy user (or expert)-specified symptoms on WWW. Our algorithm provides two important benefits : 1) enables users (patients) to be taken early diagnostic, and 2) enables experts to perform confidently diagnostic by referencing the predicted diseases-list with its respective possibility.

The author describes how the concept of collection, reflecting the profession's principles, values, and practices as they pertained to print-based (analog) information resources, developed in the pre-World Wide Web environment. She poses five questions related to goals and practices in the analog environment to help libraries develop a concept of the hybrid collection.

The proposed idea is to create a new platform of advertising and promotional tools which is called Tagme. This system is developed based on web environment on Windows and Android. The implementation of GIS based application is growing rapidly in many areas such as business, government, or public services. Potential implementation of a GIS-based application then applied to the mapping of conditions and irrigation building and canal. The application will display the latest information on the condition of each building irrigation in Rentang area, covering three districts namely Majalengka, Cirebon and Indramayu. This area has about 1000 buildings irrigation and segment that connects between buildings. In order to present the interactive map and running in a web environment, the map should be processed using a series of stages of preparation of maps using GIS software such as ArcGIS, Quantum GIS, PosgreSQL and PostGIS, GeoServer, and OpenLayers. The resulting map is then divided into three main layers based on category object to be displayed, that is the main irrigation channel, secondary channel and tapping buildings. Users can see the position and condition of each object which is represented by a different color for each condition: green for good conditions, yellow for minor damage and red for major damage. This application is expected to help the units involved in obtaining a general overview of irrigation in certain areas quickly and accurately.

QuizIt is a new prototype real-time response system for Android mobile devices that enhance active learning methods and assess students' understanding. This paper presents a) the main elements of the system and b) the results from a pilot study concerning students' opinions on using the system. QuizIt system consists of three parts: a lecturer mobile application, a student mobile application and a lecturer administration web environment. In order to evaluate the efficacy of QuizIt, we conducted a pilot study with 23 students who used the application during a laboratory lecture. The results of a questionnaire-based evaluation showed that the students were quite positive about the use of QuizIt as a supporting system to the laboratory course.

The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) is building on its long experience in distance education to design for the delivery of a comprehensive range of teaching, learning and support services in a web environment The author is a university librarian who has also taken on the role of directing the corporate project that is developing USQ's vision of the eUniversity. From the perspective of this project, she discusses the challenges for librarians of integrating with other functions to meet the needs of students studying ‘flexibly’. What is the role of the library for an online student who may only know the university as a web site? What will be the expectations of those students, formed by familiarity with commercial applications on the web, and can they be met without lowering academic standards? The article discusses some of the implications—legal, pedagogical, technical—of working in a web environment to deliver learning flexibly.

PCR is essential for many single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genotyping methods. However, the flanking sequences provided by dbSNP of NCBI are usually short and fixed length without further extension, thus making the design of appropriate PCR primers difficult. Here, we provide the system design and algorithm to describe a tool named “SNP-Flankplus” to provide a web environment for retrieval of SNP flanking sequences from both the dbSNP and the nucleotide databases of NCBI. SNP rsID# and ssID# are acceptable for retrieval of the SNP flanking sequences with adjustable lengths for at least sixteen organisms.

These unique features are accessible through the MediaWiki-powered home pages. Here we describe the main features of this web environment that have shown to allow for an efficient and effective interaction between the users and the facility.

Gli strumenti software per la gestione del procedimento ecdotico sono a tutt’oggi oggetto di riflessione all’interno delle comunità degli sviluppatori. Le proprietà delle diverse applicazioni mostrano un trend dominante: la creazione di tool online che sovrintendano all’intero processo produttivo, dalla creazione alla distribuzione dell’edizione digitale. Se lo strumento è una componente fondamentale del processo non è certamente irrilevante riflettere su quanto tale strumento costringa a ripensare alle pratiche editoriali tradizionali. Per ragionare su questo aspetto viene presentato un esperimento di realizzazione di una web application capace di gestire servizi funzionali alle diverse esigenze dell’editore, evidenziando le potenzialità del progetto.

In order to improve the accuracy of sampling and reduce resource consumption in network availability testing, a new kind of adaptive sampling method is proposed in this paper. It adjusts sampling probability over time according to network condition. Its basic sampling method is simple random sampling. The network availability is predicted based on exponential smoothing method. Comparing the measured value of availability with the predicted one, we can decide whether the sampling parameter now used is suitable for the network condition. A liner rule is advanced to decide how to adjust the sampling probability over time. Taking the tactical Internet as an example, efficiency of this sampling method is compared with that of simply random sampling. The result shows that the accuracy of the sampling method is higher than simply random sampling when the size of sample is equal, and the result would be more obvious when traffic burst occurs.

In the development process of the Architecture Engineering Construction (AEC) industry, as the lack of unified standard and integration mechanism to interoperability, the information exchange and sharing between different building application systems in the different phases of the building life are difficult. The emergence of Open BIM effectively improves the interoperability of building information. Based on cloud computing and open Web environment, dependent on the mainstream BIM standard-IFC and IDM, the paper puts forward the innovative cloud-based building information interaction framework. Besides, the paper analyzes the interactive process to the implementation of building information and also brings out the key technology to the realization of the framework1.

In this paper we present a lightweight abstract framework to help developers to integrate tools into a learning environment. This approach is based on an abstract declarative layer and an integration library. The proposal follows the cloud computing paradigm, defining and storing the different integration models remotely. Finally, the proposed integration framework has been successfully used for integrating a tool called JBraindead into a real educational web environment. This integration showed how developers reduced the coding time, due to the fact that they did not have to deal with e-Learning standards and techniques and could focus on coding the own tool.

This paper uses cataloguing theory to interpret the partial results of an exploratory study of university students using Web search engines and Web-based OPACs. The participants expressed frustration with the OPAC; while they sensed that it was “organized,” they were unable to exploit that organization, and attributed their failure to the inadequacy of their own skills. In the Google searches, on the other hand, students were getting support traditionally advocated in catalogue design. Google gave them starting points: resources that broadly addressed their requirements, enabling them to get a greater sense of the knowledge structure that would help them to increase their precision in subsequent searches.Cette étude utilise la théorie du catalogage pour interpréter les résultats partiels d'une recherche exploratoire d'étudiants universitaires utilisant les moteurs de recherche Web et les catalogues publics en ligne. Les participants ont exprimé leur frustration envers les catalogues publics en ligne. Bien qu'ils percevaient que les catalogues sont "organisés", ils ont été incapables d’utiliser cette organisation et ont attribué leur échec au manque d'adaptation de leurs propres capacités. Lors de recherches avec Google, d'autre part, les étudiants ont reçu l’assistance traditionnellement proposée dans la conception d’un catalogue. Google leur a donné des points de départ : ressources qui répondent largement à leurs besoins, leur permettant ainsi d’obtenir une meilleure compréhension de la structure des connaissances qui pourraient les aider par la suite à augmenter leur précision lors de recherche.

Conclusions: The study concludes that, despite its limitations, MADS might be used to create simple authority records in Web environment and beyond libraries context. Pozornosť použivateľa a jeho spravanie na webovom sidle je zaroveň ovplyvňovane tvorcom weboveho sidla, ktorý prvkami vloženými na stranky puta pozornosť použivateľa. Prispevok sa zaobera problematikou vnimania a pozornosti použivateľa v prostredi webových sidiel. Autorka v ňom približuje prvotne výstupy výskumu. Výskum je zameraný na vzajomný vzťah použiteľnosti a pozornosti použivateľov za využitim metody eyetrackingu v kombinacii s metodou retrospektivneho hlasneho myslenia. Molecular docking simulations of fully flexible protein receptor (FFR) models are coming of age. In our studies, an FFR model is represented by a series of different conformations derived from a molecular dynamic simulation trajectory of the receptor. For each conformation in the FFR model, a docking simulation is executed and analyzed. An important challenge is to perform virtual screening of millions of ligands using an FFR model in a sequential mode since it can become computationally very demanding. In this paper, we propose a cloud-based web environment, called web Flexible Receptor Docking Workflow (wFReDoW), which reduces the CPU time in the molecular docking simulations of FFR models to small molecules. It is based on the new workflow data pattern called self-adaptive multiple instances (P-SaMIs) and on a middleware built on Amazon EC2 instances. P-SaMI reduces the number of molecular docking simulations while the middleware speeds up the docking experiments using a High Performance Computing (HPC) environment on the cloud. The experimental results show a reduction in the total elapsed time of docking experiments and the quality of the new reduced receptor models produced by discarding the nonpromising conformations from an FFR model ruled by the P-SaMI data pattern.

Legal ontology is one of the most researched areas of Artificial Intelligence and Law, but is less applied in the compliance world. In this chapter we discuss the application of a domain-specific ontology building tool used for compliance monitoring with suitable extensions for modelling duties and roles. We first provide a description of the Eunomos package, before describing in detail the extensions with duties and roles applied to the Eunonmos ontology so that compliance officers can research laws and monitor compliance within the same web environment.

In this short paper we develop an integral framework for the study of tourist mobility using GPS technology. After a review of tourism mobility research, this article introduces the two main elements of a visitor tracking technology developed by this research team: the methodology of collection and clean-up of data, and the analytic tools, using a web environment. Both aspects have been piloted in a visitor tracking project in the historical city of Tarragona, Spain, and could be extended and adapted to other destination types.

In this paper, we present a tool that facilitates the learning of programming by providing a mobile application for Parsons problems. These are small assignments where learners build programs by ordering and indenting fragments of code. Parsons problems are well-suited to the mobile context as the assignments form small chunks of learning content that individually require little time to go through and may be freely divided across multiple learning sessions. Furthermore, in response to previous analysis of students using a web environment for Parsons problems, we describe improvements to the automatic feedback given in these assignments.

The paper presents a new project about Polymeric Wikia software evolution, which offers a generic platform for developing collaborative applications, in the field of “Advanced Polymeric Materials” using wiki paradigm and products. This application is a sharing knowledge space and storage resources in educational web environment. The Polymeric Wikia community is an important center to exchange information, knowledge, experiences and ideas about advanced polymeric materials. Interaction of members of this community will surely lead to new development and researches opportunities in the context of the global knowledge achievements. There is a need to develop a virtual community dedicated specialists in the field of advanced polymeric materials. This project is developed under the GPL open source license. The application includes information about design, production, processing techniques, main manufacturing process and important recovery and recycling methods of polymeric materials. PWikia (Polymeric Wikia) shares knowledge and expertise beyond the boundaries of traditional applications and websites. PWikia, as a repository of knowledge, offers a collaborative environment for further developments leading technology in advanced polymer materials.

Part 1: Keynote Speech; International audience; As democracy goes through various crisis and citizens increasingly disengage with traditional party politics, extra-parliamentarian, alternative modes of democratic politics emerge on many fronts; manifesting a development towards what is called counter-democracy. Debates on the role of the internet in democracy have been with us since its inception; today the discussions focus on social media, which have quickly emerged as public sphere sites and tools for democratic participation. My argument rests on the notion of contingency: the factors that make a phenomenon possible but also that delimit it. In this presentation I look at some key contingencies of political economy, technology, and socio-cultural patterns and how they impact on the spaces of online participation and the forms of identity that they foster. In particular I note the emergence of what I call the solo sphere as a mode of participation that has debilitating consequences for alternative politics.

In this work, we demonstrate a web application, available at http://d-index.di.unito.it, that permits to analyze the scientific profiles of all the researchers indexed by DBLP by focusing on the collaborations that contributed to define their curricula. The presented application allows the user to analyze the profile of a researcher, her dependence degrees on all the co-authors (along her entire scientific publication history) and to make comparisons among them in terms of dependence patterns. In particular, it is possible to estimate and visualize how much a researcher has benefited from collaboration with another researcher as well as the communities in which she has been involved. Moreover, the application permits to compare, in a single chart, each researcher with all the scientists indexed in DBLP by focusing on their dependences with respect to many other parameters like the total number of papers, the number of collaborations and the length of the scientific careers.

This work comes with the need to provide a Geographic Information System, implanted in a web environment, for a user community, which gives information on resources, facilities and services offered at a university spatially located. That consists in to study and select some objects of interest, relevant for a University community; in particular the South Campus of the Polytechnic University of Madrid where it has been used. These objects will be represented in their geographic location, over the outside map of the Campus or over digitized maps which represent the interiors of some Campus buildings. The Computer Science University School is used in the prototype shown in this paper. Also, the interest objects will have associated thematic information in different formats. This system may be applied in the planning of future works, both new and remodeling, of the elements that constitute the Campus such as buildings, roads, car parks, etc., Este trabajo nace con la necesidad de ofrecer un Sistema de Información Geográfico implantado en un entorno Web, para una comunidad de usuarios, que proporcione información sobre recursos, instalaciones y servicios que se ofrecen localizados espacialmente. Se trata de estudiar y seleccionar ciertos objetos de interés relevantes para una Comunidad universitaria, en concreto se ha utilizado el Campus Sur de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Estos objetos serán representados en su localización geográfica, sobre el mapa de los exteriores del Campus o sobre planos digitalizados de los interiores de algunos de los edificios que lo componen. La Escuela Universitaria de Informática es la utilizada para el prototipo presentado en este trabajo. Además los objetos de interés llevarán asociada información temática con distintos formatos. Este sistema podrá aplicarse en la planificación de futuras obras, tanto nuevas como de remodelación, de los elementos que constituyen el Campus como, edificios, caminos, aparcamientos, etc.

This paper details the design and development of a collaborative system that allows using the Brainstorming technique. This technique is widely used at various educational levels, and its development through computer systems adds favorable aspects both for teachers and students. STORM is a tool oriented specifically to the educational environment that allows developing Brainstorming sessions, considering the stages of idea generation, subsequent analysis of the contributions, and the connection of the various ideas in a relational map.

This paper focuses on modeling users' cognitive style based on a set of Web usage mining techniques on navigation patterns and clickstream data. Main aim is to investigate whether k-means clustering can group users of particular cognitive style using measures obtained from a series of psychometric tests and content navigation behavior. Three navigation metrics are proposed and used to find identifiable groups of users that have similar navigation patterns in relation to their cognitive style. The proposed work has been evaluated with a user study which entailed a psychometric-based method for extracting the users' cognitive styles, combined with a real usage scenario of users navigating in a controlled Web environment. The increased demand of Web services and diverse characteristics of users have resulted in a plethora of applications that aim to provide personalized services based on the heterogeneous needs and preferences of users. With the aim to enhance and support the personalization process of Web applications, an innovative adaptation mechanism is proposed. The mechanism is based on a series of psychometric measures which capture the cognitive style of users and a Computational Intelligence technique embracing Artificial Neural Networks and Fuzzy Logic. The proposed mechanism decides on the adaptation effects of Web applications and provides a personalized user experience. [ES] Actualmente, enfocar nuevas técnicas de documentación geométrica del patrimonio cultural con fines didácticos resulta un proceso complejo. El desarrollo de estos fines debe equilibrar los procesos de investigación con la difusión social de los conocimientos científicos. El siguiente proyecto emerge con esta inquietud y tiene como finalidad la documentación geométrica -acompañada de una valorización y difusión en un entorno web- de una selección representativa de estructuras hidráulicas romanas. Esta elección se ha centrado en los hallazgos arqueológicos del Valle medio del Ebro, concretamente en monumentos ubicados en La Rioja, Navarra y Aragón. De este modo, el proyecto pretende documentar y difundir con un nexo didáctico: acueductos, presas, cloacas, depósitos y cisternas romanas, fundamentales para entender el ciclo del agua en la época romana., [EN] Nowadays, how to focus the last geometric documentation techniques applied to cultural heritage, aiming a didactic application, is being a complex process. The development of this purpose must balance research process with the social spreading of the scientific knowledge. Based on this concern, the aim of this research project is the geometric documentation - accompanied by a highlighting and spreading on a web environment - of a representative selection of Roman hydraulic structures. The choice of the sites has been done focusing on archaeological discovers in the Ebro’s Valley, concretely in monuments located in La Rioja, Navarra and Aragon.
