Abstract

Bioavailable air concentration of 18 indicator and dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and 16 EPA priority polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the urban air of Dalian, China were simultaneously measured by semipermeable membrane devices (SPMDs). PCB#28, 52, 101, 105 and 118 were the most abundant PCB congeners in Dalian urban air. Phenanthrene, Fluoranthene and Pyrene were the predominat PAH in the air. PCBs were detected with magnitude ranging from non-detectable to 2151 pg SPMD−1. PAHs ranged from non-detectable to 12464 ng SPMD−1. The linear uptake stages of different PCBs and PAHs with SPMD sampling were different. There were much more PCBs during warmer sampling period than colder sampling period, however, there were a reverse results for PAHs. The concentration of some PCBs and PAHs sequestrated by SPMD (CSPMD) in the air has linear correlation with the reciprocal of the average ambient atmospheric temperature (T). The CSPMD of PAHs had negative correlation with T, while the CSPMD of the PCBs had positive correlation with T. Abstract

Light has many properties that vision sensors can passively measure. Colour-band separated wavelength and intensity are arguably the most commonly used for monocular 6D object pose estimation. This paper explores how complementary polarisation information, i.e. the orientation of light wave oscillations, influences the accuracy of pose predictions. A hybrid model that leverages physical priors jointly with a data-driven learning strategy is designed and carefully tested on objects with different levels of photometric complexity. Our design significantly improves the pose accuracy compared to state-of-the-art photometric approaches and enables object pose estimation for highly reflective and transparent objects. A new multi-modal instance-level 6D object pose dataset with highly accurate pose annotations for multiple objects with varying photometric complexity is introduced as a benchmark., Accepted at ECCV 2022; 25 pages (14 main paper + References + 7 Appendix)

Abstract

Low‐dimensional lead‐free metal halides have recently attracted a great deal of attention for their unique photoluminescence properties. In this work, a new all‐inorganic zero‐dimensional (0D) rare‐earth perovskite, namely Cs2ScCl5·H2O is reported. The 0D crystal exhibits a rare phenomenon of excitation‐wavelength dependent emission from blue‐green to white to yellow at room temperature. Spectroscopic characterizations indicate the tunable emission is originated from two distinct self‐trapped exciton states. In addition, the yellow emission quantum yield can be enhanced from 1.2% to ≈100% by doping Sb3+ ions into the crystal. The work not only presents a new all‐inorganic semiconductor with tunable emission colors, but also provides a design strategy for developing nontoxic and high‐performance light‐emitting materials. The most common primary complaints were pain (60%) and palpable mass (60%). Of the 8 cases with pre-operative CT results, 75% of the borderline or malignant cysts and none of the benign cysts were large in size (size> 11.6 cm). Half of the non-benign masses and none of the benign ones were lobulated. Thick wall (≥ 3 mm) and irregular wall were found in 25% and 50% of the non-benign cases, respectively. Wall enhancement was detected in 75% of the non-benign cases and 25% of the benign cases. Enhanced mural nodules were identified in 50% of the non-benign patients. Septa were found in 25% of the non-benign cases. Complete dissection of the tumour without rupture or post-operative complications was achieved laparoscopically in 90% of the cases. All patients were alive with no recurrence at the last follow-up at an average of 28.1± 26.6 months.Conclusion: Larger size and lobulation of the cyst, presence and contrast enhancement of thick and irregular cyst walls, mural nodules, and internal septa may be imaging features suggestive of malignancy. Complete resection of PRMN through the laparoscopic approach is feasible in experienced institutions.Keywords: primary retroperitoneal mucinous tumour, laparoscopy, radiological features, CT

Receiver operating characteristic analysis was used to assess the sensitivity, specificity, and clinical value of the NLR, CA19-9, and their combination.Results: Values of measured indicators were significantly higher in GBC patients than in GCP or GA patients but there were no significant differences between GCP and GA patients. The combination of NLR and CA19-9 had the best diagnostic efficiency for differentiating GBC from benign lesions with 74.8% sensitivity and 89.7% specificity. However, the NLR showed no significant difference between mid-to-advanced stage and early-to-mid stage GBC. The combination of NLR and CA19-9 (53.7% sensitivity and 88.9% specificity) did not reveal any advantages over CA19-9 alone (63.0% sensitivity and 89.0% specificity) in distinguishing different stages of GBC.Conclusion: NLR and CA19-9, and their combination―parameters that are easily obtained preoperatively―have potential as diagnostic markers for GBC.Keywords: gallbladder cancer, diagnosis, CA19-9, neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio
