The traditional blast furnace ironmaking process is the most widely used ironmaking process globally, yet it is associated with significant drawbacks, including high energy consumption and carbon emissions. To achieve low-carbon ironmaking, researchers have developed hydrogen ironmaking, which is capable of achieving lower CO2 emissions. Nevertheless, the distribution behavior of impurities has been less studied in the existing research on hydrogen ironmaking. Therefore, in this study, the factors affecting the slag properties and distribution of impurity elements during hydrogen ironmaking were investigated using FactSage, and smelting experiments were carried out. The results show that temperature has the greatest influence on the distribution behavior of the impurities, and excessively elevated temperatures result in the ingress of a significant quantity of impurities into the reduced iron. Reduced iron with a purity of 98.52% was obtained under the conditions of 10%, 10%, 2%, and 2% ratios of CaO, SiO2, MgO, and Al2O3, respectively, a hydrogen flow rate of 12 mL/min, and a temperature of 1400 °C; Lg L Mg, Lg L Al, Lg L Si, and Lg L Ca were 2.72, 2.41, 3.36, and 2.45, respectively ("L" stands for slag-to-metal ratio). The slag was mainly dominated by the silicate, and the iron was mainly lost in the form of mechanical inclusions in the slag. During our previous bilateral adrenal vein sampling (AVS) procedure, the authors observed that accessing the left adrenal vein through the antecubital vein was more feasible than the conventional femoral vein. Meanwhile, the femoral vein pathway facilitated access to the right adrenal vein than the antecubital vein pathway. Therefore, the authors hypothesized that simultaneous bilateral AVS via the antecubital combined with the femoral vein pathway could improve the success rate. A total of 94 cases of AVS via the antecubital combined with the femoral vein pathway were performed, while the remaining 20 cases employed the antecubital vein pathway at our center between August 2020 and April 2023. Furthermore, a meta‐analysis was conducted in this study using 15 selected articles to determine the success rate of AVS in each center and pathway. The success rate of ACTH‐stimulated simultaneous bilateral AVS via the antecubital vein combined with the femoral vein pathway was 92.85% (P =.503) on the right and 95.00% (P <.001) on the left. In the antecubital vein pathway, the success rates were only 25.00% (P <.001) on the right side and 80.00% (P =.289) on the left side. The results of meta‐analysis demonstrated a success rate of 78.16% on the right and 94.98% on the left for ACTH‐stimulated AVS via the femoral vein pathway. Based on our center's experience, simultaneous bilateral adrenal vein sampling via the combined pathway could improve the success rate of AVS in the short term and shorten the learning curve. Simple Summary: Enzootic nasal tumor virus type 2 (ENTV-2), the causative agent of enzootic nasal adenocarcinoma (ENA), is a highly lethal retrovirus of goats. To investigate the genetic variation of ENTV-2 in China, we conducted genomic sequencing and a comprehensive analysis of an emerging ENTV-2 strain CQ2 from goats in Chongqing, China. Our phylogenetic analysis revealed that CQ2 belonged to a distinct sublineage that was different from the previously reported ENTV-2 strain CQ1 in Chongqing. Furthermore, genomics analysis indicated that CQ2 was a previously unreported recombinant strain. These findings contribute to our understanding of the evolution of ENTV-2 in China and provide novel insights into its variation. In recent years, the clinical cases of ENTV-2 infection have increased and become prevalent in several provinces of China. In this study, we reported the occurrence of ENTV-2 in one goat farm in Chongqing, southwest China. The complete genome of an emerged ENTV-2 isolate (designated as CQ2) was sequenced with 7468 bp in length. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that ENTV-2 consisted of two main lineages. Lineage 1 was composed of Chinese strains and could be subdivided into five sublineages. CQ2 and the other six recent isolates from China were clustered in sublineage 1.5; however, CQ2 was significantly different from the other six isolates. Furthermore, recombination analysis suggested that CQ2 might be a recombinant variant derived from sublineage 1.5 and sublineage 1.2 strains, with the recombination region in areas of pro and pol genes. In conclusion, we sequenced and analyzed the complete genome of a potential ENTV-2 recombinant, which may contribute to our understanding of the genetic variation and evolution of ENTV-2 in China. Forest fires often cause many casualties and property losses, and it is important to explore the time and space laws of forest fires and the influencing factors. The present study used the cities (prefectures) crossed by the Tropic of Cancer (Yunnan section) as the study area. Based on burned land data, a combination of natural factors, such as climate, topography, vegetation, and human activities, such as distance from settlements and population density, a binary logistic regression model, and a boosted regression tree model, were used to analyze the temporal–spatial characteristics and influencing factors of forest fires in 2000 to 2020. The following results were obtained: (1) During 2000–2020, the overall forest fire area in the study area showed a trend of fluctuating decline. The high incidence period of forest fires occurred in 2010. After 2010, the forest fire area in the study area was greatly reduced. (2) The forest fire area in the study area was greater in the east and less in the west. The forest fire areas in Wenshan Prefecture and Honghe Prefecture in the east were larger, accounting for 68%, and the forest fire areas in Pu'er City, Lincang City, and Yuxi City in the west were smaller, accounting for only 32%. (3) The contribution rate of the average precipitation and average temperature factors ranked in the top two in the two driving force analysis models, which indicated that precipitation and temperature had a significant effect on the incidence of forest fires in the study area. This paper concerns with detailed analysis of a reaction-diffusion host-pathogen model with space-dependent parameters in a bounded domain. By considering the fact the mobility of host individuals playing a crucial role in disease transmission, we formulate the model by a system of degenerate reaction-diffusion equations, where host individuals disperse at distinct rates and the mobility of pathogen is ignored in the environment.We first establish the well-posedness of the model, including the global existence of solution and the existence of the global compact attractor. The basic reproduction number is identified, and also characterized by some equivalent principal spectral conditions, which establishes the threshold dynamical result for pathogen extinction and persistence. When the positive steady state is confirmed, we investigate the asymptotic profiles of positive steady state as host individuals disperse at small and large rates. Our result suggests that small and large diffusion rate of hosts have a great impacts in formulating the spatial distribution of the pathogen.
