151. Моделирование критических режимов работы мощных диодных лазеров

Abstract

Численно и аналитически в трехмерном приближении промоделировано влияние термоупругих напряжений в системе лазерный диод-теплоотвод (контактный слой), возникающих вследствие пространственной неоднородности теплового поля, на выходные характеристики прибора при различных режимах работы. Изучена зависимость критической плотности тока накачки от длительности импульса, геометрии и теплофизических параметров лазерной системы, в том числе для современных теплопередающих материалов подложки (алмаз, кубический нитрид бора). В рамках рассматриваемого подхода найдены оптимальные условия по качеству позиционирования (посадки) лазерного кристалла на теплоотводящую подложку и процесса сборки диодных лазеров в целом.

Abstract

Разработаны химический и вакуумные методы формирования металлических покрытий с высокой адгезией к различным поверхностям на базе многофункциональных ионно-лучевых и магнетронных распылительных систем, в том числе применительно к медным и алмазным теплоотводящим основаниям для диодных лазеров. Определены оптимальные условия сборки диодных лазеров и линеек на основе разработанных способов металлизации и достигнуто существенное улучшение выходных характеристик приборов.

Abstract

A brief survey of the development of new nanomaterials for photonic application will be presented. Based on the photoresponsive sol gel nanohybrid of polymethamethyl acrylate, silica, and zirconia (ASZ) or titania (AST) have been fabricated some planar light guiding structures and devices. The lanthanide containing nanosphere with core/shell structures have been synthesized in using a modified solgel process. Abstract

The views in this paper are those of the authors and do not reflect the views of CERI and IIR. In 2006 Vietnam had experienced more than two decades of reform. However, while the reforms have transformed the entire Vietnamese economy and opened the country to globalization, the education system is still very much under the Vietnamese Communist Party's control. The schoolbooks are published under close supervision of the authorities. The national autobiography in which children are instructed has not changed much since the first conceptions of the Vietnamese revolutionaries and nationalists: as in many young nations, myths and legends have a fundamental place in the national history. Moreover the historical narrative youngsters are educated in serves the purpose of justifying communist rule and the leading role of the VCP in this process: the VCP is pictured as the midwife of the Vietnamese modern nation. Since the start of the reform process, the pressures and challenges on this system of history education have been growing. However, even if some voices have now started to call for a more subdued national autobiography, the national story is clearly not to be 'de-nationalized' any time soon. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

173. Study on Culture of Human Dental Pulp Stem Cells to Apply in Tissue Engineering

Abstract

Dental pulp cell research might open a promising application in tooth tissue regeneration. The aim of this study is to establish a protocol for in vitro culture the human dental pulp stem cells to apply in tissue engineering. Human premolar and impacted third molars were collected and disinfected. Dental pulp fragments were cultured with Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium: Nutrient Mixture F-12 (DMEM/F12) medium supplemented with 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). Dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) were identified using proliferation assay, RT-PCR and flow cytometry. Growth of DPSCs on dentin surface was assessed by MTT assay. The study showed that we successfully isolated, cultured and characterized dental pulp cells by outgrowth method. Cultured population of cells expressed in high level of Oct4, CD146, CD90, CD44. DPSCs proliferated on chemically and mechanically treated dentin surface. This research provides important information and a basis for further investigations to establish dental tissue engineering protocols.

Abstract

HS3ST1 is a genetic risk gene associated with Alzheimer's disease (AD) and overexpressed in patients, but how it contributes to the disease progression is unknown. We report the analysis of brain heparan sulfate (HS) from AD and other tauopathies using a LC-MS/MS method. A specific 3- O -sulfated HS displayed sevenfold increase in the AD group ( n = 14, P < 0.0005). Analysis of the HS modified by recombinant sulfotransferases and HS from genetic knockout mice revealed that the specific 3- O -sulfated HS is made by 3- O -sulfotransferase isoform 1 (3-OST-1), which is encoded by the HS3ST1 gene. A synthetic tetradecasaccharide (14-mer) carrying the specific 3- O -sulfated domain displayed stronger inhibition for tau internalization than a 14-mer without the domain, suggesting that the 3- O -sulfated HS is used in tau cellular uptake. Our findings suggest that the overexpression of HS3ST1 gene may enhance the spread of tau pathology, uncovering a previously unidentified therapeutic target for AD.
