Wood anatomy is a key discipline as a tool for monitoring the global timber trade, particularly for wood listed in protected species conventions such as Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna (CITES). One of the main barriers to reducing illegal trafficking of protected species is ensuring that customs officials with appropriate training in wood anatomy are equipped with simple tools, at both the origin and destination of shipments, so they can raise an early warning about wood suspected of contravening international treaties and immediately send samples to a specialised laboratory. This work explains how lenses attached to a smartphone, capable of achieving up to 400× magnification using the phone digital zoom, can be used to distinguish features that are not visible with traditional 10× or 12× lenses, enhancing the capacity to view features not typically observable in the field. In softwoods, for example, this method permits determination of the type of axial parenchyma arrangement, whether there are helical thickenings in axial tracheids and whether axial tracheids have organic deposits or contain alternate polygonal pits, and in the rays, if the tracheids are smooth-walled or dentate and if the cross-field pits are window-like. In hardwoods, it allows verification of the presence of tyloses and deposits in vessels, the type of perforation plates and whether the intervascular pitting is scalariform; in the rays it is possible to differentiate the types of ray cells; and in the axial parenchyma, to determine the presence of oil cells. In addition, unlike macroscopic analysis with a conventional magnifying lens, this type of lens can be used with the appropriate mobile application for the biometry of important elements such as ray height and vessel diameter.

El interés por la desigualdad económica ha aumentado como consecuencia de la crisis financiera de 2008. No obstante, no son muchos los estudios sobre este campo a muy largo plazo principalmente por la complejidad en cuanto a la obtención de fuentes. La deuda pública en España es un tema de actualidad debido a su incremento significativo en los últimos años. Por ello, en este trabajo trataremos sobre la evolución, políticas, estructura y mercado de la deuda. Tras introducirnos en el concepto y tipos de deuda pública, se analiza la evolución histórica, la relación entre la variación del PIB y la variación de la deuda, además de ofrecer una comparativa con el gasto público. Se mostrarán los determinantes que afectan a la deuda pública y la manera en la que lo hacen (Déficit primario, intereses de deuda, ajustes déficit-deuda y variación del PIB) y una comparativa de la evolución de la deuda con otros países de la zona euro. En tercer lugar se observará la evolución por etapas del mercado de deuda y la emisión y negociación de los diferentes títulos. Por último trataremos la gestión responsable de la deuda con la entrada de España en la CEE, la crisis de 2008, además de aspectos como la sostenibilidad y medidas para reducir la deuda. Therefore, in this paper we will talk about the evolution, policies, structure and market of debt. In the first place we will find the concept and types of public debt. Second, historical evolution is shown, the relationship between the variation of GDP and the variation of debt that is inversely proportional and the comparison of public spending with the variation of debt. It will also show the determinants that affect public debt and how they do it (primary deficit, debt interest, deficit-debt adjustments and GDP variation) and a comparison of the evolution of debt with other countries in the region. A lo largo del siguiente trabajo se va a estudiar el funcionamiento y la sostenibilidad del sistema de Seguridad Social en España, más concretamente, del sistema de pensiones. En primer lugar, se va a realizar un análisis histórico de la Seguridad Social española. Este análisis va a comenzar en 1963 y finaliza con los cambios más recientes. En este primer punto también se exponen las principales reformas y cambios que se han llevado a cabo con el fin de mejorar el sistema. En segundo lugar, el estudio se va a centrar en los problemas que afectan actualmente al sistema. Dentro de estos problemas destacan: las elevadas cifras de desempleo; el número de pensiones; el problema demográfico; y el desequilibrio entre los ingresos y los gastos del sistema. Para concluir, se ofrecen una serie de medidas para tratar de devolver el equilibrio al sistema., In this study we analyze how the spanish Social Security System works and it´s sustainability. First of all, we are going to explore the historical evolution of the Spanish Social Security System. The study begins in 1963 and ends with the most recent changes. A lo largo de este trabajo vamos a estudiar el fenómeno de la hiperinflación, tanto sus causas, desarrollo, como sus consecuencias. En un primer momento trataremos el aspecto económico y significado general de la hiperinflación para posteriormente poder tratar de forma más eficiente este término. Para una mejor visión de este hecho comparáremos el caso más relevante, como es la Alemania de 1923, con un tema tan candente como es la Venezuela actual. Una vez expuestos los diferentes puntos de ambas, acabaremos con unas conclusiones que englobarán tanto las semejanzas de ambos casos como sus diferencias., The main purpose of this assignment is to study the economic phenomenon of the hyperinflation, its causes and development as well as its consequences. Los mercados bursátiles se crearon en el 1602, y a partir de entonces han ido evolucionando en el tiempo haciendo frente a diversas situaciones de crisis económica, las cuales han provocado periodos de inestabilidad financiera que han puesto a prueba la diligencia de dichos mercados. Por ello, con este trabajo se pretende analizar la respuesta que han mostrado los mercados bursátiles a lo largo del tiempo, comenzando con el estudio de su origen hasta su situación actual, centrándose en Londres y Estados Unidos ya que son las bolsas más relevantes y las que mayores cambios han sufrido. A esto añadimos la Bolsa española, ya que, aunque no se ha desarrollado de igual manera que las anteriores, también ha tenido una gran relevancia. La crisis económica mundial iniciada en el año 2007, supuso una modificación total del sistema bancario español, damnificando de manera particular a las Cajas de Ahorro, pues esta etapa de inestabilidad financiera, implicó inevitablemente, la exposición de las dificultades que presentaban las Cajas. The following work presents the design of a mathematical logistic model for companies dedicated to the manufacture of garments, except leather garments, in the province of Azuay; made by optimizing logistics costs and analyzed through the implementation of informatics systems that expose the optimal quantities of order. The sector of analysis considered represents one of the most important for the country, due to its high index in the generation of jobs and the revitalization of the local economy. The information used for the study corresponds to the year 2018 and was obtained through the application of surveys to 161 companies that represent the population sample. The main results indicate that in the textile sector it lacks administrative management tools: because approximately 68.5% do not have a logistics department and 65.15% do not have a cost department. Finally, the results of the study provide a tool that allows efficient management and control of inventories, thus obtaining better economic results from companies.
