The article discusses logbooks of the supervisors of state-owned convoys that carried the production of Ural factories to Moscow and St.Petersburg in the first half of the 18th century. Logbooks may be used to reconstruct the itinerary of convoys, employment procedures, and to compare the main characteristics of convoys. Рассматриваются путевые журналы караванных управителей казенных караванов с продукцией уральских заводов, следующих в Москву и Санкт-Петербург в первой половине XVIII века. Журналы могут выступать основой для реконструкции пути следования караванов, порядка найма работников, служить источником информации для сравнения основных характеристик караванов. The features of the formation of the appearance of a provincial district society are analyzed on the example of the Ural district town of Krasnoufimsk, Perm province. The factors that influenced the changes taking place in the bureaucratic environment in the first half of the 1870s are considered, the composition of Krasnoufimsk district officials is presented. The study was carried out on the basis of data recorded by the former serf of the Perm landowners Golubtsovs Matvey Andreev in the published Diary. Through the eyes of a representative of a different class, some aspects of the relationship between the Krasnoufimsk bureaucratic district society and the representative of the upper noble class V. P. Golubtsov (1832-1887) are shown. It is indicated that the information contained in the Diary testifies to the changes taking place in society associated with the erosion of its composition and the weakening of the influence of officials in the space of the county town, when the content component of the previously formed traditions changes by introducing new models of behavior by representatives of other classes. The relevance of the study is seen in the importance of studying the socio-cultural space of the provincial city in general and the Ural in particular, which had its own specific features that influenced the formation of urban society. It is concluded that although only some socio-cultural aspects of the life of a provincial society are shown, their identification and study will help to better understand what important processes took place in society during the post-reform period.

Статья посвящена решению проблемы трудовых ресурсов в уральской деревне в условиях военного времени. Показано, что попытка решить её за счёт привлечения неработающих ранее женщин, а также престарелых, подростков и мобилизованных граждан не восстанавливало убыль трудоспособных работников не только в количественном, но и в качественном отношении. Помимо участия в сельскохозяйственном производстве все годы войны крестьяне массово мобилизовались на всевозможные, не связанные с сельским хозяйством работы, что приводило к огромному дефициту рабочей силы в деревне. Все это создавало крайне тяжелое положение с трудовыми ресурсами в сельском хозяйстве, принимаемые меры по их мобилизации не смогли обеспечить сохранение довоенных объемов сельскохозяйственного производства в регионе. The article is devoted to solving the problem of labor resources in the Ural village in wartime conditions. It is shown that an attempt to solve it by attracting previously unemployed women, as well as the elderly, adolescents and mobilized citizens did not restore the loss of able-bodied workers, not only quantitatively, but also qualitatively. In addition to participating in agricultural production, all the years of the war, peasants were massively mobilized for all kinds of non-agricultural work, which led to a huge shortage of labor in the countryside. All this created an extremely difficult situation with labor resources in agriculture, the measures taken to mobilize them could not ensure the preservation of the pre-war volumes of agricultural production in the region.

The study analyzes the documents that describe the relationships and conflicts between supervisors and teachers of Ural mining schools. The documents in question provide the information about the biography and personality of school administrator Nikita Bakhorev. They can also be used to reconstruct the everyday life of teachers and students in Ekaterinburg school, the teacher-student relationships, methods of education and punishment, students’ attitude to their teachers, and so on. Публикуемые документы представляют собой ценные источники, позволяющие судить о конфликтных ситуациях, складывавшихся между надзирателем горнозаводских школ и подчиненными ему учителями. Они проливают дополнительный свет на личность Никиты Бахорева, исполняющего роль администратора школ, позволяют увидеть повседневную жизнь как учителей, так и учащихся екатеринбургских школ. В этих документах поднимаются важные вопросы о взаимоотношениях учителя и учеников, методах наказания и воспитания учащихся, об уважительном отношении к учителю и др.

The temple was an important part of the mining space and the life of craftsmen and bosses. Analyzing the features of the dedication of the main altars and additional chapels in the mining temples of the Perm province within the borders of the modern Perm region, we can draw conclusions about their involvement in the life of the mining plant (the tendency to reduce the number of new consecrations coincided with the crisis in mining in the middle of the XIX century), the relationship with the plant owners, the rulers of the state (consecration in honor of the heavenly patrons), as well as the symbolic significance of the events of sacred history or saints in whose honor they were consecrated. The choice of consecration of altars and additional chapels was connected with the economy of the plant, since it often coincided with the days when work at the plant stopped (celebration of Christmas and Yuletide, haymaking, Trinity, etc.)

На примере биографии С. Н. Стрижова показаны ценностные ориентации и поведенческие практики эсеровских лидеров Екатеринбурга в период революций и Гражданской войны. Рассматривается эволюция взглядов С. Н. Стрижова на развитие промышленности края, его выступления в прессе и на съездах золотопромышленников, политическая деятельность в городах Урала. Сделана попытка выявить причины перехода Стрижова к революционной работе. Дана оценка его взглядам по вопросу об автономии Урала. В статье представлены неизвестные ранее биографические сведения. The article presents the value orientations and behavioral practices of the Social Revolutionary leaders of Yekaterinburg during the revolutions and the Civil War using the biography of S. N. Strizhov. The evolution of his views on the development of the industry of the region, appearances in the press and at the congresses of gold miners, political activity in the cities of the Urals is considered. An attempt is made to identify the reasons for Strizhov's transition to revolutionary work. An assessment of his views on the autonomy of the Urals is given. The article reveals previously unknown biographical information.

На основе анализа отечественной историографии сделан краткий обзор изучения аграрной истории Урала периода Великой Отечественной войны на протяжении 70 послевоенных лет. Анализ историографии свидетельствует, что аграрная проблематика уральской деревни военных лет разрабатывалась достаточно интенсивно. Однако изучение истории по-прежнему определялось марксистско-ленинской идеологией. В работах аграрников доминировали подходы, многие из которых сложились ещё в военные и послевоенные годы, каких-либо концептуальных изменений в рамках официальной методологии в многочисленных публикациях тех лет не отмечалось. Большая часть опубликованных работ была посвящена историко-партийной проблематике, главное внимание уделялось исследованию деятельности ВКП (б), местных областных партийных организаций в условиях войны. При этом многие аспекты истории уральского крестьянства и сельского хозяйства оставались вне поля зрения исследователей. Для историографии последних десятилетий был характерен новый подход к оценке ключевых проблем аграрной истории советского периода, значительное расширение источниковой базы и изучаемой проблематики, оформление ряда новых исследовательских направлений. Based on the analysis of Russian historiography, a brief review of the study of the agrarian history of the Urals during the Great Patriotic War during the 70 post-war years is made. The analysis of historiography shows that the agrarian problems of the Ural village of the war years were developed quite intensively. However, the study of history was still determined by Marxist-Leninist ideology. In the works of agrarians, approaches dominated, many of which were formed in the war and post-war years, no conceptual changes in the framework of the official methodology were noted in numerous publications of those years. Most of the published works were devoted to historical and party problems, the main attention was paid to the study of the activities of the CPSU (b), local regional party organizations in the conditions of war. At the same time, many aspects of the history of the Ural peasantry and agriculture remained out of the field of view of researchers. The historiography of the last decades was characterized by a new approach to the assessment of the key problems of the agrarian history of the Soviet period, a significant expansion of the source base and the studied problems, the design of a number of new research areas.

Отмечено стремление автора монографии выявить региональную специфику развития предпринимательства. Указано, что А. П. Килиным воссоздан социальный облик частного торговца периода НЭПа, его материальное положение и быт. Историк раскрыл процесс взаимодействия частного капитала и государства в условиях перехода к социалистическому обществу. Обращается внимание на вывод автора монографии о том, что на Урале, как и по всей стране, реформы в сфере экономики осуществлялись на основе репрессий и административного принуждения, приведших к личной трагедии тысяч «акторов» нэповской экономики. Обращено внимание на недочеты и упущения в исследовании, отражена позиция рецензентов. The review presents the results of the conducted analysis and the outline of the content fea-tures of A. P. Kilin’s monograph, focused on the history of private enterprise development in the Urals during the NEP period. A special emphasis is placed on the uniqueness of the research, as it is the first comprehensive study of the problem in the Urals historiography. The source da-tabase of the monograph is outlined; the degree of scientific exploration of research topic made by the author is revealed. The research attempts to identify regional specificities of the entrepreneurship development. The value of the study is that A. P. Kilin managed to reconstruct the social image of the private traders of the NEP period, their financial situation and everyday life. The historian revealed the process of interaction between private capital and the state in the transition to a socialist society. A special attention is given to the author’s conclusion that in the Urals, as well as throughout the country, economic reforms were carried out based on repressive practices and administrative coercion, which resulted in the personal tragedy of thousands of «actors» of the New Economic Policy. Stress is also laid on the shortcomings and omissions in the study; the position of reviewers is reflected.

Баскакова, который являлся видным инженером-теплотехником, сформировавшим особую научную школу в стенах университета. Baskakov, who was a prominent heating engineer who formed a special scientific school within the walls of the university. Information about his life path is given, the most important aspects that influenced his formation as a scientist and organizer of science are revealed. The forms of his scientific activity and scientific approaches to the development of breakthrough scientific directions in the heat engineering industry are revealed. The most important part of the work is the excerpts from the memoirs of his students and colleagues of the scientist, cited in it. The information about the high civic qualities of this scientist will not leave the reader indifferent. Particular attention is paid to the contribution to science of this prominent scientist. The article is a continuation of a series of articles about Ural scientists, who came from the Ural Federal University, which is a kind of tribute to the memory for their contribution to science and technology, which are now the main scientific and technical might of our country.

В данной работе описаны особенности стирания резцов большого (Ursus kanivetz) и малого (Ursus savini-rossicus) пещерных медведей. Пещерные медведи тяготели к растительной диете, что отражалось на зубной системе. По результатам исследования было установлено, что углы стирания резцов пещерных медведей различаются. У малого пещерного медведя резцы стираются с формированием более горизонтальных площадок, тогда как у большого пещерного медведя угол наклона площадки больше. Полученные данные могут быть использованы при изучении особенностей питания пещерных медведей. This paper describes patterns of wearing of the incisors in the large (Ursus kanivetz) and small (Ursus savini-rossicus) cave bears. Cave bears follow a plant-based diet that has impacted their dentition. According to the results of the study angles of wearing of the incisors in cave bears differ. In the small cave bear, the incisors wear off with the formation of more horizontal platforms, while in the large cave bear the angle of inclination of the platform is greater. The data obtained can be used to study the feeding habits of cave bears.

This article is devoted to the traditional mechanisms of semioticisation of natural landscape, which are considered with reference to revered boulder stones of Northern Prikamye. The approach chosen by the author is determined by modern trends in the study of the cult of stones, more particularly, the shift from the search for “traces of paganism” to other possible models that influenced the existing mythological ideas and practices. The author closely examines two ethno-local traditions functioning in Komi-Permyak District, Perm Region, i.e. in Yusvinsky and Gainsky Districts. The research material includes ethnographic facts and folklore texts of the nineteenth — early twenty-first centuries, including the records of ethnographer L. S. Gribova and new field data, some of which have not been published before. In one of the cases, in the village of Arkhangelskoe, Yusvinsky District, two competing etiological interpretations of the boulder are found. The Christian explanation (the stone is the “saddle” of prophet Elijah) is gradually replacing the “heroic” version of the appearance of the stone (the “saddle” that fell from the bogatyr’s horse). The main subject of the storytelling is multiple movements of the boulder in space, overcoming the natural immobility of the stone and serving — along with stories about the healings of people — confirming its “miraculous” properties. The second case was recorded in a remote, inaccessible part of Gainsky District. There, boulders serve as a materialised memory of the first inhabitants of the region — brothers-bogatyrs / strongmen. There are contaminated plots in which the local hero Pera replaces St Stefan Permsky floating on a stone. The criterion for the special semiotic status of the stone, its separation from the neutral landscape, is the appearance of its own name (oronym). Apparently, the forms of veneration of the three stones described in the article, known from the evidence of the nineteenth century onwards, did not develop until the settlement of these territories at the end of the sixteenth — first third of the seventeenth centuries, in a situation of contacts with Russian peasants. Taking into account data from over a century allows the author to show the flexibility of the Komi-Permyak tradition aimed at mythologising boulder stones., В статье на примере почитаемых в Северном Прикамье камней-валунов рассматриваются традиционные механизмы семиотизации природного ландшафта. Выбранный автором подход определили современные тенденции изучения культа камней, в частности сдвиг от поиска «следов язычества» к другим возможным авторитетным моделям, повлиявшим на имеющиеся мифоритуальные представления и практики. Автор подробно рассматривает две этнолокальные традиции, существующие в Юсьвинском и Гайнском районах Коми-Пермяцкого округа Пермского края. Материал исследования включает этнографические свидетельства и фольклорные тексты XIX — начала XXI в., в том числе записи Л. С. Грибовой и новые полевые данные, часть которых ранее не публиковалась. В одном из случаев обнаруживаются две конкурирующие этиологические интерпретации валуна, при этом христианская (камень — седло Ильи Пророка) постепенно вытесняет «богатырскую» версию его появления. Основным предметом рассказывания становятся многократные перемещения валуна в пространстве, преодолевающие естественную неподвижность камня и служащие — наравне с историями об исцелениях — подтверждением его чудесных свойств. Во втором случае валуны оказываются материализованной памятью о первых насельниках края — богатырях, силачах; возникают контаминированные сюжеты, в которых местный богатырь Пера заменяет плывущего на камне святого Стефана Пермского. Критерием особого семиотического статуса камня, его выделенности из нейтрального ландшафта, является появление собственного названия. Делается вывод, что формы почитания трех описанных в статье камней, известные по свидетельствам XIX в. и более позднего времени, складываются не раньше заселения территории в конце XVI — первой трети XVII в., на фоне контактов с русскими. Возможность учесть данные за более чем столетний период позволяет показать пластичность коми-пермяцкой традиции, связанной с мифологизацией камней-валунов.

The work is devoted to the study of pollution by technogenic magnetic particles and heavy metals of soils in the city of Gubakha, Middle Ural (Russia). The aim of the work is the ecological and geochemical assessment of the elemental chemical composition of the soils of the city of Gubakha, and the establishment of the geochemical role of technogenic magnetic particles (TMPs). For the first time, the regularities of the spatial distribution of magnetic susceptibility in the soils of the city of Gubakha were revealed, and the morphology, elemental and mineralogical compositions of magnetic particles in the soils of an industrial city in the Middle Urals were characterized using the methods of the chemical extraction of iron compounds, magnetic separation, ESEM/EDS, and M&ouml, ssbauer spectroscopy. The magnetic phase of soils contains magnetite/maghemite, hematite, pyrrhotite, intermetallic alloys and chromite. Spherical magnetic particles are hollow, and have a magnetite shell and a varied surface texture. The crystal lattice of magnetite is characterized by low stoichiometry. The heavy metals Zn, Cu, Ni and Cr are concentrated in magnetic particles and have a high correlation coefficient with magnetic susceptibility. The level of contamination of Cu, Ni, Zn, Cr and Mn in the soils of a residential zone of Gubakha, estimated by the value of the pollution load index (PLI), was high. The Igeo index for Fe ranges from 6.2 to 12.2, for Cu&ndash, 1.1 and Ni&ndash, 1.1. The combination of methods for measuring magnetic susceptibility, determining the mineralogical composition of iron compounds, and determining the elemental chemical composition by X-ray fluorescence, has shown the effectiveness of an integrated approach for carrying out an ecological&ndash, geochemical assessment of the soil cover of Gubakha.

This article analyses the experience of the national educational activity of Yekaterinburg Uyezd Zemstvo between the second half of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It is noted that initially, the zemstvo turned to the all-Russian practice of opening Russian and non-Russian vocational schools in accordance with the Rules from March 26, 1870 “On Measures for the Education of Non-Russians Living in Russia.” The establishment and economic maintenance of Russian-Bashkir schools in the region was carried out at the expense of Yekaterinburg Zemstvo, setting the task of enlightening the population of economically disadvantaged areas. The activity of the Zemstvo in opening Russian-Bashkir schools was not always met with support in the Muslim community. In 1898, the opening of the school in Karabolka was disrupted, and in 1902 the school in Asanovo was closed. However, gradually, the network of Russian-Bashkir schools expanded. In 1917, there were six educational institutions of this type (in Berdenish, Sary, Kaluzhbaeva, Karabolka, Alabuga, and Staroe Asanovo).Following the Revolution of 1905, the liberalisation of the religious policy of the government attracted the attention of zemstvo leaders to the confessional schools of the uyezd. Starting from 1908, zemstvo benefits began to be paid to these educational institutions amounting to 3 915 roubles in 1916. The practice of national educational activity of Yekaterinburg Zemstvo was quite liberal and did not have a Russification focus. By aiding the confessional educational institutions of the “new method”, the zemstvo showed respect for the traditional cult and historical past of the Muslim population and thereby sought interaction with the local communities. Muslim leaders, however, hoped to strengthen national elements in education. After the February Revolution, S. S. Khamzin, member of the Yekaterinburg Uyezd Commissariat, released a project, insisting that Russian-Bashkir vocational schools should be transformed into national schools. The uyezd zemstvo postponed the question of organising national schools until the establishment of Muslim volost zemstvos in the uyezd. However, the zemstvo failed to complete these transformations., В статье анализируется опыт национально-образовательной деятельности Екатеринбургского уездного земства во второй половине XIX — начале XX в. Отмечается, что первоначально земство обратилось к общероссийской практике открытия русско-инородческих училищ в соответствии с Правилами от 26 марта 1870 г. «О мерах к образованию населяющих Россию инородцев». Все заботы об открытии и хозяйственном состоянии русско-башкирских школ в уезде Екатеринбургское земство взяло на себя, ставя задачу развития просвещения среди населения районов, неблагополучных в экономическом отношении. Деятельность земства по открытию русско-башкирских школ не всегда встречала сочувствие в мусульманском обществе. В 1898 г. сорвалось открытие школы в Караболке, в 1902 г. была закрыта школа в Асаново. Тем не менее, постепенно сеть русско-башкирских училищ расширялась. В 1917 г. действовало 6 учебных заведений этого типа (Берденишское, Саринское, Калужбаевское, Карабольское, Алабужское, Старо-Асановское).Либерализация вероисповедной политики правительства после революции 1905 г. привлекла внимание земских деятелей к конфессиональным школам уезда. С 1908 г. началась выдача земских пособий этим учебным заведениям, общая сумма которых составляла в 1916 г. 3 915 руб. Практика национально-образовательной деятельности Екатеринбургского уездного земства в целом была вполне либеральной и не носила русификаторской направленности. Оказывая помощь «новометодным» конфессиональным учебным заведениям, земство демонстрировало уважение к традиционному культу и историческому прошлому мусульманского населения и добивалось тем самым взаимодействия с местными общинами. Лидеры мусульманского населения надеялись на усиление национальных элементов в образовании. После Февральской революции появился проект члена Екатеринбургского уездного комиссариата С. С. Хамзина, в котором говорилось о необходимости преобразования русско-башкирских школ в национальные училища. Уездное земство отложило вопрос об организации национальных школ до создания в уезде мусульманских волостных земств. Завершить эти преобразования, однако, земству не удалось.

The article is devoted to the specifics of the development of periodicals in the Ural in 1905-1907. With the emergence of the revolutionary movement in all layers of Russian society, there was a need for knowledge and coverage of the path along which the Fatherland should go to its revival. To fulfill this need, all kinds of periodicals appeared, which put forward different political programs, adhered to different political views and made numerous demands in the construction of national and provincial life. Provincial press followed the capital, tried to reprint for readers the most interesting materials. The study of such literature helps to reveal the struggle of political parties for the masses, to identify the main directions of propaganda and agitation of various political factions, to follow the tense and turbulent internal party life. In the periodical press of the Ural events of the all-Russian and local character were covered. The press was a powerful social institution with extensive experience in publishing newspapers, pamphlets, leaflets of various political bodies and associations. The seal as a mirror, reflected in itself surrounding reality, as echo responded to current events., Статья посвящена специфике развития периодической печати на Урале в 1905-1907 гг. С возникновением революционного движения во всех слоях русского общества возникла необходимость в знании и освещении пути, по которому должно идти Отечество к своему возрождению. Для осуществления данной потребности появляются всевозможные периодические издания, которые выдвигали разные политические программы, придерживались различных политических взглядов и предъявляли многочисленные требования в деле построения общегосударственной и провинциальной жизни. Провинциальная пресса следила за столичной, старалась перепечатывать наиболее интересные для читателей материалы. Изучение подобной литературы помогает раскрыть борьбу политических партий за народные массы, выявить основные направления пропаганды и агитации различных политических фракций, проследить за напряженной и бурной внутрипартийной жизнью. В периодической печати Урала освещались события общероссийского и местного характера. Пресса являлась мощным социальным институтом, имеющим за своими плечами большой опыт издания газет, брошюр, листовок различных политических органов и объединений. Печать, как зеркало, отражала в себе окружающую действительность, откликалась на текущие события.

Выбранный автором подход определили современные тенденции изучения культа камней, в частности сдвиг от поиска «следов язычества» к другим возможным авторитетным моделям, повлиявшим на имеющиеся мифоритуальные представления и практики. Автор подробно рассматривает две этнолокальные традиции, существующие в Юсьвинском и Гайнском районах Коми-Пермяцкого округа Пермского края. Материал исследования включает этнографические свидетельства и фольклорные тексты XIX — начала XXI в., в том числе записи Л. С. Грибовой и новые полевые данные, часть которых ранее не публиковалась. В одном из случаев обнаруживаются две конкурирующие этиологические интерпретации валуна, при этом христианская (камень — седло Ильи Пророка) постепенно вытесняет «богатырскую» версию его появления. Основным предметом рассказывания становятся многократные перемещения валуна в пространстве, преодолевающие естественную неподвижность камня и служащие — наравне с историями об исцелениях — подтверждением его чудесных свойств. Во втором случае валуны оказываются материализованной памятью о первых насельниках края — богатырях, силачах; возникают контаминированные сюжеты, в которых местный богатырь Пера заменяет плывущего на камне святого Стефана Пермского. Критерием особого семиотического статуса камня, его выделенности из нейтрального ландшафта, является появление собственного названия. Делается вывод, что формы почитания трех описанных в статье камней, известные по свидетельствам XIX в. и более позднего времени, складываются не раньше заселения территории в конце XVI — первой трети XVII в., на фоне контактов с русскими. Возможность учесть данные за более чем столетний период позволяет показать пластичность коми-пермяцкой традиции, связанной с мифологизацией камней-валунов. This article is devoted to the traditional mechanisms of semioticisation of natural landscape, which are considered with reference to revered boulder stones of Northern Prikamye. The approach chosen by the author is determined by modern trends in the study of the cult of stones, more particularly, the shift from the search for “traces of paganism” to other possible models that influenced the existing mythological ideas and practices. The author closely examines two ethno-local traditions functioning in Komi-Permyak District, Perm Region, i.e. in Yusvinsky and Gainsky Districts. The research material includes ethnographic facts and folklore texts of the nineteenth — early twenty-first centuries, including the records of ethnographer L. S. Gribova and new field data, some of which have not been published before. In one of the cases, in the village of Arkhangelskoe, Yusvinsky District, two competing etiological interpretations of the boulder are found. The Christian explanation (the stone is the “saddle” of prophet Elijah) is gradually replacing the “heroic” version of the appearance of the stone (the “saddle” that fell from the bogatyr’s horse). The main subject of the storytelling is multiple movements of the boulder in space, overcoming the natural immobility of the stone and serving — along with stories about the healings of people — confirming its “miraculous” properties. The second case was recorded in a remote, inaccessible part of Gainsky District. There, boulders serve as a materialised memory of the first inhabitants of the region — brothers-bogatyrs / strongmen. There are contaminated plots in which the local hero Pera replaces St Stefan Permsky floating on a stone. The criterion for the special semiotic status of the stone, its separation from the neutral landscape, is the appearance of its own name (oronym). Apparently, the forms of veneration of the three stones described in the article, known from the evidence of the nineteenth century onwards, did not develop until the settlement of these territories at the end of the sixteenth — first third of the seventeenth centuries, in a situation of contacts with Russian peasants. Taking into account data from over a century allows the author to show the flexibility of the Komi-Permyak tradition aimed at mythologising boulder stones. В статье представлен краткий тематический обзор архивных документов фонда Уральского горного управления Государственного архива Свердловской области о взаимоотношениях церковной и горнозаводской администрации, совместных действиях при строительстве и функционировании церквей на Урале во второй четверти XVIII в. Основой для статьи стали неопубликованные документальные источники, многие из которых впервые вводятся в научный оборот. Рассматриваемые документы содержат информацию о населенных пунктах, где имелись церкви, с их внутренним и внешним описанием, именами служителей. Архивные дела дают возможность проследить историю строительства и функционирования церквей на Екатеринбургском, Полевском, Северском, Уктусском, Юговском, Егошихинском и иных казенных заводах. В статье приведены иллюстративные материалы и выдержки из архивных документов, отражены данные о материальном обеспечении клира заводских поселков, проанализированы документы по взаимоотношению В. И. де Геннина и В. Н . Т атищева с митрополитами Тобольскими и Сибирскими. Выявлен количественный состав священнослужителей в период становления горнозаводской администрации. Отражены позитивные и негативные моменты взаимоотношений ветвей власти в социально-культурных проблемах. Следственные дела дают возможность обобщить и расширить представления о причинах нарушения законодательства церковнослужителями. Выявленные сведения могут стать основой для социальных исследований. Автором работы рассмотрены и вопросы взаимодействия горнозаводской власти с прихожанами церквей и монастырскими служителями. В результате получен вывод, что документы по строительству церквей на новых территориях рассматривались зачастую несколько лет и неоднократно. Но в конечном итоге горная власть все же выделяла денежные средства и помогала с доставкой материалов с заводов до мест строительства новых церквей с учетом требований церковнослужителей. Статья предназначена для исследователей истории Православной Церкви и читателей, которым будут интересны сведения и данные о развитии и взаимодействии духовной и горнозаводской властей на территории Уральского региона., The author provides a brief thematic overview of archival documents from the Stock of Ural Mining Administration of the State Archives of the Sverdlovsk Region on the relationship between church and mining administration, and their joint activities for constructing and operating churches in the Urals in the first half of the 18th century. The article is based on the unpublished clerical sources, many of which have been introduced into scientific circulation for the first time. The documents under consideration contain information on the settlements with churches, including their internal and external descriptions, and priests’ names. These archival documents allow tracing the history of the construction and functioning of churches in the Yekaterinburg factory, at the Polevskoy, Seversky, Uktus, Yugovsky, Egoshikhinsky and other state-owned factories. The article contains illustrative materials and excerpts from the documents, and provides data on material support of the clergy in factory settlements. The documents concerning relations between V. I. de Gennin and V. N. Tatishchev and the Tobolsk and Siberian Metropolitans are also analyzed. The quantitative composition of the clergy during formation of the mining administration has been revealed. Reflected are the positive and negative aspects of the relationship between branches of the government in the sphere of social and cultural problems. Investigative files provide an opportunity to summarize and expand the understanding of the reasons that prompted clergy to violate the law. The information revealed can serve as the subject of social studies. Many documents are worth of being introduced into scientific circulation. Having examined the issues of interaction between the mining factory authorities and the parishioners and monasteries’ clergy, the author concludes that consideration of the issue of building churches in the new territories could be repeatedly postponed and sometimes lasted for several years. Nevertheless, finally the mining authorities did allocate funds and helped with the delivery of materials from factories to the church construction sites, taking into account the requirements of clergy. The article is addressed for researchers of the history of Orthodox Church in the Urals and those interested in information and documents on the development of relations between church and secular mining authorities in the Ural region territory.

A characteristic feature of the NEP - multi-structure is an attributive property of the Russian economy, as a result, its study is an urgent task today. The author considers the “way” as a scientific category and its potential in the study of the economy of the transitional period, including the period of NEP. The “scale of orders” formed by modern economists makes it possible to study in more detail the problems of NEP, including the mechanism of functioning of the private business structure, which unites the most economically active strata of the population discriminated against on political grounds. The article examines the institutional foundations that predetermine the specificity of the regional economic model, in particular, which includes a different set of structures, which are in a wide variety of proportions and combinations. Характерная черта нэпа – многоукладность – является атрибутивным свойством экономики России, как следствие, ее изучение – актуальная задача и сегодня. Автором рассматривается «уклад» как научная категория и его потенциал при изучении экономики переходного периода, в том числе периода нэпа. Сформированная современными экономистами «шкала укладов» позволяет более детально изучить проблемы нэпа, в том числе механизм функционирования частнопредпринимательского уклада, объединяющего наиболее экономически активные слои населения, дискриминируемые по политическим основаниям. Рассматриваются институциональные основы, которые предопределяют специфику региональной модели экономики, в частности включающей в себя различный набор укладов, находящихся в самых разнообразных пропорциях и сочетаниях.

Поскольку городские территории представляют большую ценность, в мире популярным становится использование ранее непригодных для растительности поверхностей, в частности стен и крыш. В городах Урала использование экокрыш крайне ограничено. В настоящем исследовании предложен список видов региональной флоры, которые могут быть использованы для озеленения крыш в городах Среднего Урала. Рекомендованные виды растений адаптированы к неблагоприятным климатическим условиям, высоким концентрациям тяжелых металлов и не обладают инвазионным потенциалом. Since urban areas are of great value, the use of previously unsuitable for vegetation surfaces, in particular walls and roofs, is becoming popular in the world. In the cities of the Urals, the use of eco-tires is extremely limited. This study proposes a list of species of regional flora that can be used for greening roofs in cities of the Middle Urals. Recommended plant species are adapted to adverse climatic conditions, high concentrations of heavy metals and do not have an invasive potential.

The article considers the problem of preservation of cultural heritage at the present stage of development of Russian society. The theoretical aspects of the concept of cultural heritage are updated. The complexity and ambiguity of the phenomenon of cultural heritage itself led to its understanding through the prism of the well-known formula “culture, first of all, memory” explaining the diverse internal contacts between the problem of preserving cultural heritage and the problem of perceiving culture itself as its bearer. The situation with the protection of cultural heritage in the Middle Urals is analyzed. Cultural heritage is shown as a factor in historical memory and an important component of public consciousness. В статье рассматривается проблема сохранения культурного наследия на современном этапе развития российского общества. Актуализированы теоретические аспекты понятия культурного наследия. Сложность и неоднозначность самого феномена культурного наследия обусловили его понимание сквозь призму известной формулы «культура – прежде всего память», объясняющей многообразные внутренние контакты между проблемой сохранения культурного наследия и проблемой восприятия самой культуры ее носителем. Проанализирована ситуация с охраной культурного наследия на Среднем Урале. Культурное наследие показано как фактор исторической памяти и важная составляющая общественного сознания.

The task is to comprehend the peculiarities of the training of Soviet legal personnel on the eve and during the Great Patriotic War (in emergency conditions). Particular attention is paid to the decree of the Central Executive L69Committee and the Council of People’s Commissars of the USSR in 1935 “On measures to develop and improve legal education” and the decree of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (b) 1946 “On the expansion and improvement of legal education in the country” as the most important milestones in the history of Soviet legal education. As part of the research strategy of working with the Memory of War, the experience of a separate university, which has been working in the Urals since 1934 - the Sverdlovsk Law Institute, is being studied. The corpus of university office-work documentation is analyzed, which testifies to the restructuring of the work of the SUI in emergency conditions. Ставится задача осмысления особенностей подготовки советских юридических кадров накануне и в период Великой Отечественной войны (в чрезвычайных усло- виях). Особое внимание уделено Постановлению ЦИК и СНК СССР 1935 г. «О мероприятиях по развертыванию и улучшению правового образования» и Постановлению ЦК ВКП(б) 1946 г. «О расширении и улучшении юридического образования в стране» как важнейшим вехам истории советского юридического образования. В рамках исследовательской стратегии работы с памятью о войне изучается опыт отдельного вуза, с 1934 г. работавшего на Урале – Свердловского юридического института. Проанализирован корпус вузовской делопроизводственной документации, свидетельствующей о перестройке работы СЮИ в чрезвычайных условиях.

Статья имеет обзорный характер и посвящена разделу искусства Сибири на IV Межрегиональной художественной выставке «Урал, Сибирь, Дальний Восток», организованной в Челябинске в 2020 году. На этот раз кураторы пригласили к участию только живописцев и художников декоративно-прикладного искусства. Среди главных тенденций можно отметить доминанту фигуративной живописи, стремление к яркой красочности, обобщенности форм и фактурности. Декоративно-прикладное искусство представлено главным образом красноярской школой керамики и работами художников из Омска. На данном этапе изобразительное искусство выходит в более открытое для коммуникации пространство, что увеличивает потребность в новом масштабе проектов. Так, совместные выставки трех регионов России - Урала, Сибири и Дальнего Востока - за последние пять лет неоднократно объединялись в крупные экспозиции, привлекая десятки тысяч зрителей, что доказало качественный рост интереса к современному изобразительному искусству, уверенно вышедшему за пределы исключительно профессионального сообщества., The article has an overview character and it is devoted to the section of the Siberian art at the IV Interregional art exhibition "Ural, Siberia, Far East", organized in Chelyabinsk in 2020. This time, the curators invited only painters and artists of decorative and applied arts to participate. Among the main trends, we can note the dominant of figurative painting, the desire for bright colorfulness, generality of forms and textures. Decorative and applied art is represented mainly by the Krasnoyarsk school of ceramics and works by artists from Omsk. At this stage, visual art is moving into a more open space for communication, which increases the need for a new scale of projects. Thus, joint exhibitions of three regions of Russia: the Urals, the Siberia and the Far East have been repeatedly combined into large expositions over the past five years, attracting tens of thousands of viewers, which proved a qualitative breakthrough in the interest in modern visual art, which has confidently gone beyond the exclusively professional community.

The conclusion is drawn about the historical validity, not the randomness of the revolutionary upheavals of the early twentieth century. The book is of undoubted interest to historians, and all those interested in the history of Russia and the Ural region.

Подчеркивается, что этот тыловой край превращается в ведущий советский индустриальный центр, в предмет особой гордости и «сталинской заботы». В этом смысле Урал как «арсенал революции» позиционируется как защитник «священных границ» первого социалистического государства. По мере приближения Красной армии к государственной границе СССР восприятие Урала расширяется до мирового масштаба: для водружения знамени коммунизма в Европе его ресурсы, в числе прочих, окажутся очень востребованными советской властью. The article examines the image of the Urals in the military journalistic discourse of the newspaper Chelyabinsk Worker (1941—1945). It is presented as the front line - not just as the rear, but, above all, the front, non-combat. The region is recognized as the heir to the glorious traditions of the people, military and labor, demonstrates the best qualities of Russian / Soviet people. Gender universality of heroic deeds, self-sacrifice in the name of their family - the nation are noted. The locus appears in an unusual quality for itself - as the “eastern granary” that fed the vast country. It is emphasized that this rear region is turning into a leading Soviet industrial center, an object of special pride and “Stalinist concern”. In this sense, the Urals as the “arsenal of revolution” is positioned as the defender of the “sacred borders” of the first socialist state. As the Red Army approaches the state border of the USSR, the perception of the Urals expands to a global scale: to erect the banner of communism in Europe, its resources, among others, will prove to be very popular among the Soviet authorities. На основе проведенных расчетов площадей сельскохозяйственных зон и типов ландшафтов построены диаграмма и картосхема территориального распределения зональных типов ландшафтов исследуемой территории. Разработана картосхема типов специализации сельского хозяйства земледельческих регионов Урала и Западной Сибири. Проведена функциональная типизация и ранжирование городов по численности населения. Выявлены экономико-географические особенности исследуемого мезорегиона., The article reveals the characteristic features of the landscapes of the agricultural regions of the Urals and Western Siberia. There were constructed a diagram and a map of the territorial distribution of zonal types of landscapes of the study area, on the basis of the calculations of the areas of agricultural zones and types of landscapes. A schematic map of the types of agricultural specialization in the agricultural regions of the Urals and Western Siberia has been developed. Functional typification and ranking of cities by population size is carried out. The economic and geographical features of the studied mesoregion are revealed

Based on the 1939 census, the article analyzes changes in the social structure and employment of the population of Zlatoust under the influence of industrial reconstruction. The census revealed an increase in the share of people having classes among citizens. The proportion of women among population having classes has increased. The main categories of economically active residents remained workers and employees. The specificity of Zlatoust was that the bulk of the townspeople worked in industry. The crowding out of private capital led to a reduction in the number of small traders and artisans; large private capital was completely liquidated. The social composition of the city has lost its diversity and become more homogeneous. В статье на основе материалов переписи 1939 г. анализируются изменения в социальной структуре и занятости населения Златоуста под воздействием промышленной реконструкции. Перепись выявила рост доли лиц, имеющих занятие, среди горожан. Выросла доля женщин среди самодеятельного населения. Основными категориями экономически активных жителей оставались рабочие и служащие. Специфика Златоуста заключалась в том, что основная часть горожан работала в промышленности. Вытеснение частного капитала привело к сокращению численности мелких торговцев и кустарей-ремесленников, крупный частный капитал был ликвидирован вообще. Социальный состав города потерял свое многообразие и стал более однородным.

The article deals with the development of distillery production in the Urals and Western Siberia in the 60-70s. XIX century, i.e. in the first decades after the introduction of the excise system, including the number of enterprises in this industry, production volumes, commercial activities of entrepreneurs in the Urals, primarily in the Perm province in Western Siberia. The conclusion is made about the formation of a single market for alcoholic beverages in the Urals and Western Siberia. В статье рассматриваются вопросы развития винокуренного производства на Урале и в Западной Сибири в 60-70- х гг. ХIХ в., т.е. в первые десятилетия после введения акцизной системы, в том числе количество предприятий данной отрасли, объемы производства, коммерческая деятельность предпринимателей Урала, прежде всего Пермской губернии в Западной Сибири. Делается вывод о формировании единого рынка спиртных напитков на территории Урала и Западной Сибири.

Исследована проблема управления сельским хозяйством СССР в годы Великой Отечественной войны. Установлено, что она строилась по производственно-территориальному принципу и имела ряд ступеней: предприятие (колхоз, МТС), районный земельный отдел, областной земельный отдел, наркомзем союзной республики, Наркомзем СССР и представляла собой весьма громоздкую систему. Сложной была и система управления совхозами, которая отрывала советские хозяйства от местных органов власти и управления. Местным хозяйственным и партийным органам было сложно наладить связь с многочисленными управлениями и трестами, которым подчинялись находящиеся на их территории совхозы. В работе показано, что в военные годы государственный контроль за деятельностью советских хозяйств еще больше усилился, что выразилось в создании политотделов совхозов, политсекторов и политуправлений при областных, республиканских и союзных земельных органах. Изучен механизм управления колхозами местными партийными, советскими и хозяйственными органами, установлено, что характерной чертой военного времени был административный нажим, а часто и произвол районных чиновников по отношению к коллективным хозяйствам. The problem of agricultural management in the USSR during the Great Patriotic war is studied. It was established that it was built on the production-territorial principle and had a number of stages: enterprise (collective farm, MTS), district land Department, regional land Department, people's Commissariat of the Union Republic, people's Commissariat of the USSR and was a very cumbersome system. The system of state farm management was also complex, which separated Soviet farms from local authorities and management. It was difficult for local economic and party bodies to establish communication with the numerous departments and trusts that controlled the state farms located on their territory. The paper shows that during the war years, state control over the activities of Soviet farms was further strengthened, which was reflected in the creation of political departments of state farms, political sectors and political administrations under regional, Republican and Union land bodies. The mechanism of management of collective farms by local party, Soviet and economic bodies was studied, it was established that a characteristic feature of wartime was administrative pressure, and often arbitrariness of district officials in relation to collective farms.

Замысел первого пятилетнего плана был обширен: впервые в мировой истории в рамках государственного плана намечалось пропорциональное и сбалансированное разви- тие регионального и отраслевого потенциалов; широкий круг социальных программ. Столкновение рационального и утопических курсов реализации заданий пятилетки – одна из самых драматических страниц советской истории – проходило сквозь судьбы людей. Для одних это был путь к прозрению. Для других – путь к слепому выполнению приказов., Th e article is devoted to understanding the results of the First fi ve-year plan in a large industrial region Th e Ural region. Th e concept of the First fi ve-year plan was extensive: for the fi rst time in the world’s history, the state plan outlined a proportional and balanced development of regional and sectoral potentials; a wide range of social programs. Th e clash of rational and utopian courses of implementation of the tasks of the fi ve-year plan – one of the most dramatic pages of Soviet history-passed through the fate of people. For some – it was a path to insight. For others, it is a way to blindly follow orders.

Но как орудия для нанесения орнамента на керамические сосуды они всегда интересовали и продолжают интересовать археологов. Чаще всего реконструируются технологии нанесения орнамента на сосуды, которые иногда подкрепляются материалами экспериментального моделирования орнамента. В литературе нет единого мнения о характере использования зубчатых штампов. Нет четких критериев отличия между штампом с отверстием и подвеской с зубчатым краем. Не понятно, с чем связаны находки 50 % штампов на святилищах. Нет достоверных данных и о многократном использовании одного штампа для орнаментирования разных сосудов. Также многие исследователи отмечают, что установить связь штампа с конкретным сосудом практически не удается. Отсутствует и логическое соотношение между сотней зубчатых штампов и десятками тысяч керамических сосудов на археологических памятниках Урала. Остается непонятным преобладание шлифованных каменных штампов, хотя их шлифовка не диктуется производственной необходимостью. Много вопросов вызывает анализ метрических показателей зубчатых штампов: что могли орнаментировать штампы с зубцами шириной 0,4—0,7 см. Оттиски такой ширины на сосудах отсутствуют. К сожалению, штампы практически не исследовались специалистами-трасологами. Проведенный автором трасологический анализ 26 зубчатых штампов из фондов Нижне-Тагильского музея показал, что в большинстве случаев штампы использовались для обработки кожи, иногда употреблялись в качестве собственно штампов, шпателей, лощил и даже своеобразных напильников. Stamps are a fairly rare group of finds. But as tools for the spraying ornament on ceramic vessels they always interested and continue to interest archaeologists. Most often reconstructed technology of application of ornament on vessels, which are sometimes supported by materials of experimental modeling of ornament. In the literature there is no consensus about the nature of the use of toothed stamps. There are no clear criteria for the difference between a stamp with a hole and a pendant with a serrated edge. It is not clear what the findings of 50% of the stamps on the sanctuaries are connected with. There is no reliable data on the repeated use of one stamp for ornamentation of different vessels. Also, many researchers note that it is almost impossible to establish the connection of the stamp with a specific vessel. There is no logical correlation between hundreds of toothed stamps and tens of thousands of ceramic vessels on the archaeological sites of the Urals. The predominance of polished stone stamps remains unclear, although their grinding is not dictated by production necessity. Many questions are raised by the analysis of metric indicators of toothed stamps: what could have ornament stamps with the tines of a width of 0,4—0,7 cm. There are no impressions of this width on the vessels. Unfortunately, the stamps almost not been investigated by professional tracers. The author's tracological analysis of 26 tooth stamps from the collections of the N. Tagil Museum showed, that in most cases stamps were used to process the skin, sometimes were used as actually stamps, spatulas, polishes and even original files.

The article raises the problem of the presentation of industrial heritage in the form of a thematic atlas. Various types of atlases representing national and regional industrial heritage abroad and in Russia (in Sweden, France, in the Urals) are considered. The principles and approaches to creating an atlas of the industrial heritage of Greater Yekaterinburg are determined. Attention is focused on the importance of updating the industrial heritage for the development of the agglomeration. В статье ставится проблема презентации индустриального наследия в форме тематического атласа. Рассматриваются различные типы атласов, представляющих национальное и региональное индустриальное наследие за рубежом и в России (в Швеции, во Франции, на Урале). Определяются принципы и подходы создания атласа индустриального наследия Большого Екатеринбурга. Акцентируется внимание на важности актуализации индустриального наследия для развития агломерации. Исследование выполнено при финансовой поддержке РФФИ и правительства Свердловской области в рамках научного проекта № 20-49-660009. «Индустриальное наследие Большого Екатеринбурга: методология изучения, принципы презентации, актуализация ценности».

The Uralsky Rabochiy newspaper explores the key features of the phenomenon of architectural imagery, which is understood as a way of visualizing the course of social change, specific for the first five-year plans, expressed in the massive replication of images of Soviet industrial and urban construction, usually sustained in an avant-garde style. The author actualizes the components of the approach to the study of the set of visual artifacts depicting avant-garde new buildings, considered as a component of the visual vocabulary of industrialization; the origins of the formation of the corresponding visual strategy are analyzed; a method for analyzing the visual content of the publication is proposed, which makes it possible to identify the centers of the Ural region associated with the theme of civil and industrial avant-garde construction and the specifics of their representation by means of architectural imagery. На материале газеты «Уральский рабочий» исследуются ключевые черты феномена архитектурной образности, под которой понимается специфический для первых пятилеток способ визуализации хода социальных перемен, выражающийся в массовом тиражировании образов советского промышленного и городского строительства, выдержанного обычно в авангардном стиле. Автор актуализирует составляющие подхода к изучению совокупности визуальных артефактов, изображающих авангардные новостройки, рассматриваемые в качестве составляющей визуального лексикона индустриализации; анализируются истоки формирования соответствующей визуальной стратегии; предлагается методика анализа визуального контента издания, позволяющая выявить ассоциируемые с темой гражданского и индустриального авангардного строительства центры Уральской области и специфику их репрезентации средствами архитектурной образности.

On the basis of archival documents, the preparation by foreign doctors of the first medical students in 1722-1734 is revealed. For the first time, the circle of these students, the sources of their recruitment, the periods of stay in training, the reasons for dismissals, and the further fate of the best of them are established. На основе архивных документов раскрывается подготовка медиками-иностранцами первых лекарских учеников в 1722–1734 гг. Впервые устанавливается круг этих учеников, источники их комплектования, сроки пребывания в обучении, причины увольнений, дальнейшая судьба лучших из них.

Financial measures in the Urals during the monetary reform of 1924 are considered. The transition from a depreciating sovznak to a hard chervonets and treasury notes completed the period of parallel circulation of currencies. The implementation of the monetary reform in the region was accompanied by crisis phenomena: the divergence of prices for industrial and agricultural products, a bargaining chip, a reduction in wages, an increase in prices for food products. The completion of the reform led to the achievement of financial and economic stability in the country, an increase in industrial production in the Ural region. Рассматриваются финансовые мероприятия на Урале в период денежной реформы 1924 г. Переход от обесценивающегося совзнака к твердому червонцу и казначейскому билету завершил период параллельного обращения валют. Осуществление денежной реформы в регионе сопровождалось кризисными явлениями: расхождение цен на промышленные и сельскохозяйственные товары, разменным кризисом, сокращением заработной платы, увеличением цен на продуктовые товары. Завершение реформы привело к достижению финансово-экономической стабильности в стране, увеличению промышленного производства в Уральском регионе.

The article covers the process of Bashkirian ASSR (Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic) getting its own industrial identity, starting with the realization of itself as a part of Ural, wich was based on the metallurgical and engineering industries, till becoming OIL REPUB­LIC — «Second Baku». A set of archival documents stored in TsDOOSO on the practice of labor use of foreign specialists and workers who participated in the late 1920s - 1930s is presented. in socialist construction in the Urals. Revealed new materials about the social situation and political attitudes of foreign workers; some statistical information to clarify the scale of the use of foreigners in the Ural industry. Conclusion on the significant source research potential of documents introduced into scientific circulation. Представлен комплекс находящихся на хранении в ЦДООСО архивных документов о практике трудового использования иностранных специалистов и рабочих, участвовавших в конце 1920 – 1930-е гг. в социалистическом строительстве на Урале. Выявлены новые материалы о социально-бытовом положении и политических настроениях иноработников; некоторые статистические сведения, позволяющие уточнить масштаб использования иностранцев в уральской промышленности. Вывод о значительном источниковедческом потенциале вводимых в научный оборот документов.

The presentation provides an overview of publications devoted to the history of the industrial management system of the Urals in 1917 - 1991, placed in the collections “Industrial Urals”. Discourse in the scientific community about the effectiveness of the Soviet industrial management system is analyzed. The article proves the thesis about the dependence of changes in the system of management of industrial enterprises on changes in the policy of the Soviet state as a whole and local authorities. В выступлении дается обзор публикаций, посвященных истории системы управления промышленностью Урала в 1917–1991 гг., помещенных в сборниках «Урал индустриальный». Анализируется дискурс в научном сообществе об эффективности советской системы управления промышленностью. Доказывается тезис о зависимости изменения системы органов управления промышленными предприятиями от изменения политики Советского государства в целом и местных органов власти.

В статье анализируется опыт национально-образовательной деятельности Екатеринбургского уездного земства во второй половине XIX — начале XX в. Отмечается, что первоначально земство обратилось к общероссийской практике открытия русско-инородческих училищ в соответствии с Правилами от 26 марта 1870 г. «О мерах к образованию населяющих Россию инородцев». Все заботы об открытии и хозяйственном состоянии русско-башкирских школ в уезде Екатеринбургское земство взяло на себя, ставя задачу развития просвещения среди населения районов, неблагополучных в экономическом отношении. Деятельность земства по открытию русско-башкирских школ не всегда встречала сочувствие в мусульманском обществе. В 1898 г. сорвалось открытие школы в Караболке, в 1902 г. была закрыта школа в Асаново. Тем не менее, постепенно сеть русско-башкирских училищ расширялась. В 1917 г. действовало 6 учебных заведений этого типа (Берденишское, Саринское, Калужбаевское, Карабольское, Алабуж- ское, Старо-Асановское). Либерализация вероисповедной политики правительства после революции 1905 г. привлекла внимание земских деятелей к конфессиональным школам уезда. С 1908 г. началась выдача земских пособий этим учебным заведениям, общая сумма которых составляла в 1916 г. 3 915 руб. Практика национально-образовательной деятельности Екатеринбургского уездного земства в целом была вполне либеральной и не носила русификаторской направленности. Оказывая помощь «новометодным» конфессиональным учебным заведениям, земство демонстрировало уважение к традиционному культу и историческому прошлому мусульманского населения и добивалось тем самым взаимодействия с местными общинами. Лидеры мусульманского населения надеялись на усиление национальных элементов в образовании. После Февральской революции появился проект члена Екатеринбургского уездного комиссариата С. С. Хамзина, в котором говорилось о необходимости преобразования русско-башкирских школ в национальные училища. Уездное земство отложило вопрос об организации национальных школ до создания в уезде мусульманских волостных земств. Завершить эти преобразования, однако, земству не удалось. This article analyses the experience of the national educational activity of Yekaterinburg Uyezd Zemstvo between the second half of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It is noted that initially, the zemstvo turned to the all-Russian practice of opening Russian and non-Russian vocational schools in accordance with the Rules from March 26, 1870 “On Measures for the Education of Non-Russians Living in Russia.” The establishment and economic maintenance of Russian-Bashkir schools in the region was carried out at the expense of Yekaterinburg Zemstvo, setting the task of enlightening the population of economically disadvantaged areas. The activity of the Zemstvo in opening Russian-Bashkir schools was not always met with support in the Muslim community. In 1898, the opening of the school in Karabolka was disrupted, and in 1902 the school in Asanovo was closed. However, gradually, the network of Russian-Bashkir schools expanded. In 1917, there were six educational institutions of this type (in Berdenish, Sary, Kaluzhbaeva, Karabolka, Alabuga, and Staroe Asanovo). Following the Revolution of 1905, the liberalisation of the religious policy of the government attracted the attention of zemstvo leaders to the confessional schools of the uyezd. Starting from 1908, zemstvo benefits began to be paid to these educational institutions amounting to 3 915 roubles in 1916. The practice of national educational activity of Yekaterinburg Zemstvo was quite liberal and did not have a Russification focus. By aiding the confessional educational institutions of the “new method”, the zemstvo showed respect for the traditional cult and historical past of the Muslim population and thereby sought interaction with the local communities. Muslim leaders, however, hoped to strengthen national elements in education. After the February Revolution, S. S. Khamzin, member of the Yekaterinburg Uyezd Commissariat, released a project, insisting that Russian-Bashkir vocational schools should be transformed into national schools. The uyezd zemstvo postponed the question of organising national schools until the establishment of Muslim volost zemstvos in the uyezd. However, the zemstvo failed to complete these transformations.

И. Лугининым Златоустовского и Саткинского заводов. В течение трех десятилетий складывались структурные элементы окружной системы: металлургический комплекс и обслуживающие его вспомогательные отрасли, территория округа, рабочее население, структура управления окружным хозяйством. В 1799 г. заводы были проданы Государственному ассигнационному банку для покрытия долгов владельца. Выяснено, что причиной выхода перспективного, развивающегося округа из владения Лугининых стала как драматичная история рода заводовладельцев, так и несформированность системы управления округом на момент смены владельца в процессе реализации прав наследования. Установлено, что владение округом оставалось в руках рода, если формирование окружной организации, включая многоуровневую систему управления, завершалось при основателе горнозаводского хозяйства или при подготовленном им наследнике. Однако формирование Златоустовского округа завершилось уже после смерти Л. И. Лугинина, при ослабленном управлении во время опеки и проявлении негативных последствий нобилитации наследников. Это, в конечном итоге, и предопределило выход округа из владения рода Лугининых. The article presents the history of the Zlatoust metallurgical district, which began in 1769 when L.I. Luginin bought Zlatoust and Satka factories. The structural elements of the district system were forming for three decades: the metallurgical complex and service industry, the territory of the district, the working population and the management structure of the district economy. The factories were sold to the State assignation bank coving debts of the owner in 1799. The cause of loss the district was dramatic story of the factory owners and the incompleteness of the management system of the district at the time of a change of ownership. As rule, the possession of the district remained in family if the founder completed its creation, including multi-level control system. However, the formation of the Zlatoust district ended after the death of L.I. Luginin, in situation of weakened control during guardianship, and negative results of heirs՚ nobility status. As result, the Zlatoust metallurgical district came out of Luginins՚ possession.

The article examines, on the basis of documents of the departmental archive of UrFU and documents of the UPI fund in the State Archives of the Sverdlovsk Region, changes in the educational process of the Institute in the period 1941-1945. The dominant paradigm in assessing the industrial development of the Urals at the beginning of the 19th century. in the case of the Zlatoust plant, it implies that there is no alternative to its transfer to the state in 1811. On the example of the Zlatoust arms factory, the integration and transformation of handicraft production into large-scale industrial production with a high degree of mechanization is shown, and the paradigms of public and private management are also considered. Господствующая парадигма в оценке промышленного развития Урала начала XIX в. в случае со Златоустовским заводом предполагает безальтернативность его передачи в 1811 г. государству. На примере Златоустовской оружейной фабрики показана интеграция и трансформация ремесленного производства в крупное промышленное производство с высокой степенью механизации, а также рассмотрены парадигмы государственного и частного управления. Исследование выполнено за счет государственного задания Министерства науки и высшего образования РФ № FEUZ-2020-0056 «Региональная идентичность России: компаративные историко-филологические исследования».

В статье рассмотрены повседневная жизнь и основные виды деятельности женских монастырей Урала и Западной Сибири. Хронологические рамки статьи ограничены второй половиной XIX - началом ХХ в., т. к. именно с середины XIX столетия начинается невиданный подъем женского монашества в России. При работе по теме использовались как методы общенаучные, так и исторического исследования (историко-сравнительный, генеалогический, социально-исторический). Источниковой базой исследования послужили документы из Государственного архива Оренбургской области, Государственного архива в г. Тобольске, а также опубликованные материалы (путевые дневники, мемуары, письма, историко-статистические и историко-этнографические описания). Последние размещены в периодической печати XIX - начала ХХ в. («Епархиальные ведомости» - екатеринбургские, пермские, оренбургские, уфимские, Тобольские губернские ведомости). На разнообразном материале автор старается показать богатый внутренний мир женского монастыря. Для этого рассмотрены распорядок дня в монастырях, условия, в которых проживали сестры, и основные виды деятельности женских обителей: религиозная, производственная, воспитательно-просветительская, миссионерская. Такая разнонаправленная деятельность женских монастырей служила для обеспечения их всем необходимым в плане пропитания, а также приносила существенную прибыль. Важное место занимали ремесла и рукоделья, к выполнению которых в качестве послушаний была привлечена большая часть сестер. Как видно из результатов исследования, не все женские обители могли похвастаться богатым набором производств, а только достаточно крупные, значимые в регионе или имеющие долгую историю. Многое зависело от настоятельницы конкретного монастыря, определявшей возможности обители в осуществлении тех или иных видов деятельности. Несмотря на регламентированный уставами распорядок дня, жесткие правила поведения, сестры получали возможность реализоваться, в том числе и творчески, в разных сферах деятельности: религиозной, хозяйственной, просветительско-благотворительной. Более мягкие и одновременно стойкие по своей природе, женщины выдерживали все тяготы пребывания в монастыре, доводя выбранное дело до конца., This article discusses daily routine and the main directions for the activities of convents in the Urals and Western Siberia. The chronological framework of the article has been limited to the second half of the 19th — beginning of the 20th century for it was the middle of the 19th century when the unprecedented rise of female monasticism in Russia began. When working on the topic, both general scientific methods and historical research methods (historicalcomparative, genealogical, social-historical) were used. The source base for the study constituted documents from the State Archive of the Orenburg Region, the State Archive in Tobolsk, as well as published materials (travel diaries, memoirs, letters, historical and statistical and historical-ethnographic descriptions). The latter were found in the periodical press of the 19th — early 20th centuries (Ekaterinburg Diocesan Gazette, Perm Diocesan Gazette, Orenburg Diocesan Gazette, Ufa Diocesan Gazette and Tobolsk Provincial Gazette). On a variety of material, the author tries to show the rich inner world of the nunnery. To do this, the daily routine in the monasteries and the conditions in which the sisters lived, as well as the main activities of women’s monasteries — religious, industrial, educational and missionary — were examined. Such the diverse activities of women’s monasteries served to provide them with everything necessary in terms of food, and also brought significant profit. An important place was occupied by crafts and needlework, the fulfillment of which as the obedience involved most of the sisters. As can be seen from the results of the study, not all women’s monasteries could boast of a “rich” set of industries, but only large enough, significant in the region or having a long history of existence. Much depended on the M other Superior of a particular monastery, who determined the abilities of the monastery in terms of the implementation of certain types of activities. Despite the daily routine regulated by the charters, strict rules of behavior, nuns got the opportunity for the self actualization, including creativity, in various fields of activity: religious, economic, educational and charitable. Softer and at the same time persistent in nature, women withstood all the hardships of being in the monastery, bringing the chosen business to the end.

The article discusses the importance of mythoritual practices in human evolution. On the basis of the archaeological data, the features of cult archaeological sites that reflect the features of the symbolic practices’ and rituals’ development in the stone age in the territory of the Trans-Urals are highlighted. Статья посвящена значению мифоритуальной практики в эволюции человека. На основе данных археологии выделены особенности культовых памятников, отражающие особенности развития символических практик и ритуалов в каменном веке на территории горно-лесного Зауралья.
