As is well known, differential algebraic equations (DAEs), which are able to describe dynamic changes and underlying constraints, have been widely applied in engineering fields such as fluid dynamics, multi-body dynamics, mechanical systems, and control theory. In practical physical modeling within these domains, the systems often generate high-index DAEs. Classical implicit numerical methods typically result in varying order reduction of numerical accuracy when solving high-index systems. Recently, the physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) have gained attention for solving DAE systems. However, it faces challenges like the inability to directly solve high-index systems, lower predictive accuracy, and weaker generalization capabilities. In this paper, we propose a PINN computational framework, combined Radau IIA numerical method with an improved fully connected neural network structure, to directly solve high-index DAEs. Furthermore, we employ a domain decomposition strategy to enhance solution accuracy. We conduct numerical experiments with two classical high-index systems as illustrative examples, investigating how different orders and time-step sizes of the Radau IIA method affect the accuracy of neural network solutions. For different time-step sizes, the experimental results indicate that utilizing a 5th-order Radau IIA method in the PINN achieves a high level of system accuracy and stability. Specifically, the absolute errors for all differential variables remain as low as 10 − 6 , and the absolute errors for algebraic variables are maintained at 10 − 5 . Therefore, our method exhibits excellent computational accuracy and strong generalization capabilities, providing a feasible approach for the high-precision solution of larger-scale DAEs with higher indices or challenging high-dimensional partial differential algebraic equation systems. With the improvement of people's safety awareness, the requirement of pesticide detection is gradually increasing, and many new detection methods toward Organophosphorus pesticide (OPs) has been further developed and applied. Nanomaterials-based biosensors have played an important role in the trace detection of OPs. This article mainly introduces the detection principle of enzymes and aptamers as the identification element of biosensors. Various nanomaterials (i.e., metals and metal oxides, carbon nanotubes, graphene and graphene oxide, quantum dots, metal organic frameworks, molecular imprinted polymers, etc.) possess their unique properties and play different roles in the enzyme and aptamer-based biosensors toward OPs: (a) to produce the optical or electrochemical signal; (b) as a carrier to load the enzyme or aptamer; (c) to enhance the signal response. Besides, the intelligent portable devices provide the possibility to realize the onsite and real-time detection. The limitations of some nanomaterials and the future development are discussed. The expansion of the homestay industry is shadowed by ethical concerns and perceived risks. In this context, the emotional relationship between hosts and tourists in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic needs to be re-examined. Focusing on the togetherness of "we" rather than the demarcation of "you versus me," we integrate homestay hosts and guests into a conceptual model to examine and compare their emotional solidarity with each other, as well as the relevance of emotional solidarity to perceived risk, MES (Multidimensional Ethics Scale), and support for homestays. Our results show that despite the assumption of perceived risk, tourists feel welcomed by hosts during the pandemic, while hosts feel emotionally close to tourists. In addition to the findings that emotional solidarity mediates perceived risk, MES, and support for homestays in both samples, we find that hosts' perceived risk is more likely to influence their emotional solidarity and support for homestays. With the intensification of the greenhouse effect and the continuous rise of global temperature, high temperatures in summer seriously affect the growth of green onion (Allium fistulosum L.var.caespitosum Makino) and reduce its yield and quality. It is important to study the mechanism of heat tolerance in green onion for selecting and breeding new varieties with high‐temperature tolerance. In this study, we used the heat‐tolerant green onion variety AF60 and heat‐sensitive green onion variety AF35 and measured their physiological indexes under different durations of heat stress. The results showed that high‐temperature stress adversely affected the water content, protein composition and antioxidant system of green onion. In addition, a comprehensive analysis using transcriptomics and metabolomics showed that heat‐tolerant green onions responded positively to heat stress by up‐regulating the expression of heat shock proteins, whereas heat‐sensitive green onions responded to heat stress by activating the galactose metabolic pathway and maintained normal physiological activities. This study revealed the physiological performance and high‐temperature response pathways of different heat‐tolerant green onion cultivars under heat stress. In the developed assay, multiorbital 3D DNA walker (MO DNA walker) was applied as signal amplified protocol for enhancing the detection signal of the photothermal biosensor, which was designed for sensitive detection of miRNA based on the H2S triggered conversation of photothermal reagent. When the target molecule is present, the DNA walking strand was released and then hybridize with track strands. The landing of walking particles (WPT) on the tracking particles (TPT) promotes the relative movement of the WPT around TPT, thus releasing large amount of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) with the aid of DNAzyme. After reacting with Na2S2O3 and H2O2, multiple H2S can be generated in situ based on the catalytic ability of HRP. Meanwhile, cubic Prussian blue (CPB) was synthesized and exhibited superior photothermal response, which can be served as efficient photothermal reagent and H2S responsive acceptor. Significantly, the photothermal signal of CPB could be obviously reduced after challenged with H2S ascribed to synchronous reaction between the ferric ion (Fe3+) and H2S. The improved walking area and freedom enable significant signal amplification, enhancing the biosensor's performance. The Cre-loxP recombination system is the most widely used technology for in vivo tracing of stem or progenitor cell lineages. The precision of this genetic system largely depends on the specificity of Cre recombinase expression in targeted stem or progenitor cells. However, Cre expression in nontargeted cell types can complicate the interpretation of lineage-tracing studies and has caused controversy in many previous studies. Here we describe a new genetic lineage tracing system that incorporates the Dre-rox recombination system to enhance the precision of conventional Cre-loxP-mediated lineage tracing. The Dre-rox system permits rigorous control of Cre-loxP recombination in lineage tracing, effectively circumventing potential uncertainty of the cell-type specificity of Cre expression. Using this new system we investigated two topics of recent debates--the contribution of c-Kit[sup.+] cardiac stem cells to cardiomyocytes in the heart and the contribution of Sox9[sup.+] hepatic progenitor cells to hepatocytes in the liver. Abstract Based on our initial genome-wide association study (GWAS) on esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) in Han Chinese, we conducted a follow-up study to examine the single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) associated with family history (FH) of upper gastrointestinal cancer (UGI) cancer in cases with ESCC. We evaluated the association between SNPs and FH of UGI cancer among ESCC cases in a stage-1 case-only analysis of the National Cancer Institute (NCI, 541 cases with FH and 1399 without FH) and Henan GWAS (493 cases with FH and 869 without FH) data (discovery phase). Objective : This study aimed to determine if gastric cardia adenocarcinoma (GCA) risk was associated with the lys (A or *2) allele at the rs671 (glu504lys) polymorphism within the aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 (ALDH2) gene in a Chinese Han population. We also aimed to investigate ALDH2 genotypic distributions between subjects from high- and low-incidence areas for both GCA and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC).Methods : We designed a case-control study including 2,686 patients with GCA and 3,675 control subjects from high- and low-incidence areas for both GCA and ESCC in China. TaqMan allele discrimination assay was used to genotype the rs671 polymorphism. χ2 test and binary logistic regression analysis were used to estimate the odds ratios for the development of GCA, and multivariate ordinal logistic regression was used to analyze ALDH2 genotypic distributions among different groups.Results : Compared with ALDH2*1/*1 homozygotes, ALDH2*1/*2 and ALDH2*2/*2 carriers did not increase the risk for GCA in the Chinese Han population (P>0.05). Interestingly, the ratio of homozygous or heterozygous ALDH2 *2 carriers in high-incidence areas for both GCA and ESCC was lower than that in low-incidence areas (PConclusions : Genotypes of rs671 at ALDH2 may not increase GCA susceptibility in Chinese Han populations. In addition, the ALDH2 genotypic distribution differs between Chinese Han populations from high- and low-incidence areas for both GCA and ESCC. Our findings may shed light on the possible genetic mechanism for the dramatic geographic differences of GCA occurrence in China.

Objective : This study aims to investigate the truth-telling status and the relevant factors of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) patients in Henan, China.Methods : A cross-sectional study from April to June 2015 using questionnaires was given to 301 family members of hospitalized ESCC patients based in three affiliated hospitals of Zhengzhou University (i.e., The First Hospital, The Second Hospital, and Tumor Hospital) and Anyang Tumor Hospital.Results : Among the 41.9% (126/301) hospitalized ESCC patients who knew of their true diagnoses, only 4.0% patients were informed by their corresponding responsible doctors, 39.7% by their family members, and 56.3% by themselves. Univariate analyses showed that disclosure of confirmed ESCC diagnosis to patients was correlated with gender, family history of cancer (FHC), education level, vocation, hospital administrative level, and attitudes of family members (P < 0.05). Furthermore, multivariate analysis indicated that attitude of family members was the most important and an independent factor for diagnosis disclosure. Those patients with a negative FHC, under-education, manual occupation, advanced stages, and hospitalized in municipal hospitals exhibited a low rate of truth telling.Conclusions : Truth telling for ESCC patients in Henan is not prevalent and may be improved through consultation with family members, particularly for patients with a negative FHC, poor education, manual occupation, and advanced stages.
