The article focuses on the development of ideas about the prophet in Russia in the late 19th – the early 20th century. In the European discourse the understanding of the prophet as the bearer of the personal principle in religion most fully described by M. Weber. Since in Russian religious philosophy the conceptualization of the prophetic function appears in the works of V. Solovyov, the first part of the article is devoted to the analysis of the idea of a prophet in the theocratic concept of this thinker. Specific features of the system proposed by the Russian philosopher are characterized, where the prophet was considered as a link of the “triad” along with the priesthood and the kingdom. The constant characteristics of the prophet as the third principle of power in the Solovyov system are formulated. The second part of the article is devoted to the reception of Solovyov’s ideas in Russian theology and religious philosophy of the beginning of the 20th century. The discussions about the hierarchy and the intellectuals as carriers of the prophetic principle that arose at the Religious-Philosophical Meetings, and the positions on this issue of V. Ternavtsev and D. Merezhkovsky are characterized. The development of the idea of a prophet in the context of the discussion of the problem of power in the Church in the academic theology of M. Tareev, V. Troitsky, P. Florensky is traced. The interpretation of the Soloviev triad by S. Bulgakov and A. Kartashev, as well as criticism of the views of the latter by Merezhkovsky’s circle, is analyzed. It is noted that the participants in the discussions considered the prophetic principle as integrated into the church community or opposed to the church hierarchy. In conclusion, the development of the discourse about the prophet in the Russian tradition of the designated period is summed up, parallels with the search for Western explorers are noted. The article concludes that the common problem for Russian and European thinkers of the early 20th century is the distinction between priestly and prophetic principles in the religious community.

Din sosyolojisinde peygamber kavramına yönelik olarak, tarihi ve sosyolojik bir perspektiften, yeteri kadar inceleme yapıldığı pek söylenemez. Günümüzde peygamber kavramına dönük olarak yapılan araştırmaların büyük çoğunluğunun ilahiyat merkezli incelemeler olduğu görülmektedir. Peygamber kavramının teolojik boyutu olduğu kadar tarihi ve sosyolojik bir boyutunun olduğu da muhakkaktır. Tarihi açıdan büyük dinlerin doğuşunda ve gelişiminde bu figürlerin yeri yadsınamaz. Dolayısıyla peygamberlik konusunun sosyal bilimsel açıdan ele alınması bu bağlamda önem arz etmektedir. Tarihsel açıdan bir olgu olarak peygamberlik konusunun, özellikle Yahudilik, Hıristiyanlık, İslamiyet gibi büyük dinlerdeki önemi teslim edilmelidir. Peygamberlik olgusunun bu dinlerde ne anlam ifade ettiği, tarihte farklı bölge ve zamanlarda farklı peygamber figürlerinin ortaya çıkışı ve bunların toplumla kurdukları ilişkiler genelde dinlerin, özelde ise İbrahimi dinlerin anlaşılabilmesi bakımından incelenmeye değer ve gereklidir. Bu çalışma literatür taraması tekniğiyle yapılmış olup özellikle Batılı din sosyolojisi çalışmalarında peygamber kavramının yeterince ele alınmadığı görülmüştür. Bu nedenle peygamberlik konusunun tarihi ve sosyolojik bir açıdan incelenmesi, peygamber, tarih ve din ilişkisinin açığa kavuşturulmasıyla birlikte bunun din sosyolojisi alanına da önemli bir katkıda bulunacağı düşünülmektedir.

In this paper, the author proposes Natural Semantic Metalanguage (NSM) semantic decompositions of four difficult-to-translate quranic Arabic words using Natural Semantic Metalanguage (Goddard Wierzbicka 2014, Wierzbicka 2021). This is the first study to propose an explicit semantic explication of these core Islamic lexical items, which are foundational for the spiritual worldview of the almost two billion followers of Islam in the world today. The first word considered is rasūl , which refers to intermediaries sent by Allah to humans and is used in the Quran alongside nabī , which has almost the same meaning. An NSM semantic explication of rasūl is contrasted with explications of biblical Hebrew nābā’ ‘prophesy’ and nabī’ ‘prophet’. In English translations of the Quran, rasūl is usually rendered as ‘messenger’ and nabī as ‘prophet’, yet these translations are misleadingly inadequate. Three further quranic concepts are examined, which have received the most diverse and unsatisfactory renderings in English translations of the Quran: shirk ‘association’ and kāfir ‘disbeliever’ refer to two dimensions of disbelief, and ittaqā , a difficult-to-translate verb, refers to cautious piety. The use of Natural Semantic Metalanguage overcomes the resistance of these terms to translation into English, by means of fine-grained semantic explications using semantic primes. These explications are designed to be readily accessible to speakers of languages other than English.

The purpose of this research is to compare ARIMA and Prophet algorithms and find the best algorithm for forecasting bitcoin prices. The dataset is two years historical bitcoin data between February 2019 and 2021. The data is segmented into daily, weekly, and monthly period category. Both algorithms are built into a univariate model that only receive 2 features for training the model. Several ARIMA models is developed for each dataset interval. After that, the parameter of each model will be cross-referenced to each other to obtain the best parameter combination. Meanwhile, Prophet model will be developed using automatic and manual tuning. Then again parameter value of each model will be cross-referenced to each other to obtain the best parameter combination. Evaluation of the training model is done by calculating the Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Rooted Mean Squared Error (RMSE). The results showed that the best model for the daily and weekly data category was the Prophet algorithm, while for the monthly data category was the ARIMA algorithm. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

What is loneliness? Why did great prophets of the Lord feel alone? What causes depression? These are intriguing questions that can cause surprise to the reader of the Holy Scriptures, after all, how could someone called to carry the Word of God go into depression, or feel lonely? However, Elias, Micah and Jeremiah went through situations that led them to ask for death. But, what feeling led them to this? They are intriguing, extensive and complex questions that cannot be exhausted in a short time, but it becomes feasible to draw general lines on each proposed theme, highlighting some of the main points regarding each of these prophets based on the Holy Scriptures and on the interpretation from some authors who were able to corroborate in the understanding of the life of the prophets contained in the Old Testament. This essay sets the stage for a larger project examining the validity of pseudepigraphic and pseudonymous approaches to the composition of Deuteronomy.1 The concern of this essay with Moses is not to offer a biography of the man, but to trace the evolution of the perceptions of the man from his earliest biographers to the end of the Second Temple period and the emergence of the New Testament. The survey of the history of literary characterizations begins with his portrayal in biblical narratives where he appears as the principal human character (Exodus-Deuteronomy), followed by the Deuteronomistic historiographic narratives (Former Prophets), the prophetic books (Latter Prophets), and the Writings, both the poetic texts (e.g., Psalms) and the priestly chroniclers' narratives, and then moving on to extrabiblical sources. While the purpose of this study is to gather the data on the evolution of perceptions of Moses, it concludes with brief reflections on the significance of our findings for theories of the composition of Deuteronomy, particularly Moses' first address (1:6-4:40). This article discusses the understanding of revelation and prophethood of Moses ben Maimonides (d.1204), one of the most important Jewish religious scholars who lived in the 12th century, and Spinoza (d.1677), who lived in the 17th century and was excommunicated at the age of twenty-four and expelled from the Jewish community to which he belonged due to the accusation that he was an atheist as a result of his thoughts. In his Theological-Political Treatise, Spinoza aims to show the necessity of the separation of theology from philosophy. This desire of Spinoza brought him encounter with Maimonides and the tradition he represented. As a result, it is seen that Spinoza was influenced by Maimonide’s views on revelation and prophethood and entered into a dispute with him. In what ways he was influenced by Maimonides or disputes with him is the main issue of this article. Our treatise consists of three parts: introduction, main chapter, and conclusion. In the introduction, the concept of revelation and the views of Plato and Aristotle on prophecy and dreams are briefly introduced since they are the main sources of both Islamic thinkers and Maimonides. In addition, in the introduction, due to the fact that Spinoza's influence or confrontation with Maimonides is related to the tradition represented by the Islamic philosophers of which Maimonides is a member, it was necessary to outline the views of some Islamic philosophers. In doing so, a brief mention of the thoughts of al-Kindī (d.866?), al-Fārābī (d.950) and Ibn Sīnā (d.1037), who are considered to be among the first and most important Muslim philosophers was deemed sufficient. In the meantime, the ideas of another Jewish philosopher, Levi ben Gershom (d.1344), who historically stands somewhere between Maimonides and Spinoza, are briefly discussed. Based on the thoughts of these philosophers, an attempt was made to show the relation of revelation with the power of imagination, as well as with dreams and prophecy. In the main part of the study, Maimonides' understanding of revelation and prophethood is first analyzed and then compared with Spinoza's understanding of revelation and prophethood. While analyzing Maimonides' understanding of prophethood, the parts where he was influenced by Islamic philosophers were mentioned. In this comparison, Maimonides' Delālat al-Hāirīn and Spinoza's Theological-Political Treatise were considered as the main sources. This study aims both to better understand the theological approach of the two thinkers and to show the thought codes of Spinoza, who is considered one of the heralds of the Enlightenment, going back to Maimonides even if critically. It is also intended to emphasize that these codes dating back to Maimonides also extend to the world of Islamic thought. In this article, the scope of the subject is limited to the thoughts of the two thinkers about the prophet, revelation, and the internal and external factors that play a role in the formation of the revelation, and the language of the revelation. Religion plays a crucial role in social integration, establishing common values, and fostering stability, solidarity, and moral behavior. Trust and confidence in God and society are essential for religion to fulfill its functions, including providing solace, combating guilt, and guiding moral decision-making.. The Prophet Muhammad, the founder of Islam, exemplified exceptional morals and virtues. Muslims regard his life as a model to emulate, as recommended in the Quran. The Prophet's trustworthiness and truthfulness were evident throughout his life, earning him the title "al-Amin." Even his adversaries acknowledged his integrity and truthfulness. The Kaaba arbitration, where the Prophet played a significant role in rebuilding the Kaaba and resolving disputes, demonstrated his trustworthiness. His honesty and trustworthiness left an indelible impression on society, inspiring admiration and respect. This article explores the exemplary morals and personality of Prophet Muhammad, focusing on his trustworthiness and truthfulness. Through his life and teachings, the Prophet continues to serve as a guiding light for Muslims, offering valuable lessons in integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness for individuals and society at large. The tradition of taṣliya texts and practices in Sufism constitute an important source of Muslim intellectual and religious history. Previous studies have argued that these texts were more than mere cultural expressions of devotion to Prophet Muḥammad. Following this line of thought, this article seeks to deepen our grasp of the significance of taṣliya formulae in Sufi contexts. Emphasis will be placed on their role in popularizing various mystical-philosophical teachings and prophetical doctrines that shaped Muslims' imaginations of the Prophet throughout the centuries. The aim of this study is to forecast the daily average temperature of Mus province in Turkey using time series methods. The performance of three time series forecasting models is compared: LSTM, PROPHET, and ARIMA. The behavior of these models in temperature data is also investigated. It is found that these methods give accurate results according to the MAE, MSE, and RMSE error metrics. However, LSTM produces slightly better results. The temperature data used in this study was obtained from the Mus Meteorology Provincial Directorate. Accurate temperature forecasting is important for many different areas, from energy, agriculture to water resource management. The models for forecasting time series with seasonal variability can be used to build automatic real-time control systems. For example, predicting the water flowing in a wastewater treatment plant can be used to calculate the optimal electricity consumption. The article describes a performance analysis of various machine learning methods (SARIMA, Holt-Winters Exponential Smoothing, ETS, Facebook Prophet, XGBoost, and Long Short-Term Memory) and data-preprocessing algorithms implemented in Python. The general methodology of model building and the requirements of the input data sets are described. All models use actual data from sensors of the monitoring system. The novelty of this work is in an approach that allows using limited history data sets to obtain predictions with reasonable accuracy. The implemented algorithms made it possible to achieve an R-Squared accuracy of more than 0.95. Some environments are more conducive to solitude than others. They offer more space between people, even more distance from other living things. But they might, in their quiet, also offer room for an unusual kind of conversation, in unusual kinds of voices. In Western monotheistic traditions, the desert is a traditional site of solitude but also of encounter between human and divine. In the stories of such encounters for a series of biblical prophets—Moses, Elijah, Ezekiel, and John the Baptist—isolation and encounter entangle. This article focuses on that encounter as a matter of voice. Drawing in particular on the theoretical work of Maurice Blanchot and Jean-Luc Nancy, it argues that prophetic voice is polyphonic in its isolation, as some trace of divinity always echoes through it. In most circumstances, such echoes are inaudible over the noise of many speaking voices. The desert setting both offers enough quiet for prophetic voices to be heard, and itself enters into the conversation as a voice—for example, of thunder or wind—that can sound in the silence in ways it could not in the city. Wayne Meeks argues that Philo's presentation of Moses as king, prophet, and priest in De vita Mosis may reflect the traditions lying behind the Fourth Gospel's depiction of Jesus as both prophet and king. This article proposes more specific parallels between the prophetic roles in De vita Mosis and the Gospel. First, the water miracle at the wedding in Cana (John 2:1–11) has substantial similarities to Philo's rewriting of Moses's water miracles in the wilderness (Mos. 1.181–213) that are not shared by the LXX (Exod 15, 17). Second, both the Gospel and Philo assign to the prophetic office a close proximity to the divine. Third, in both the Gospel and Philo, the prophet is a heavenly revealer who returns to the Father. Philo thus helps explain Jesus's prophetic role in the Fourth Gospel, not simply regarding the merging of prophet with king, but also regarding the particular form that prophecy takes. Religion is one of the basic institutions of society. It is a universal phenomenon that started with the history of humanity and is as old as humanity itself. It is an essential and delicate institution that has existed in every period of history and in every society, and makes its presence felt most vividly nowadays. Religion, which is one of the most powerful fundamental institutions that contribute to the peace and welfare of people, deeply affects the social, cultural, political and economic lives of individuals and societies today as it did in the past, and it makes a significant contribution to national unity and solidarity. Prophets, who are the founders of religions, deeply affected individuals and societies in terms of belief, morality and social life. When approached from a sociological point of view and evaluated in terms of religion-society relations, religion and religious officials have influenced and transformed societies impressively. The religion of Islam and the Prophet Muhammad is just one of the most vivid examples of this fact. The Prophet Muhammad united people, who had lost faith in the supreme creator around the religion of Islam and joined them around a belief in one God. Throughout the history of thought, people have been suspicious of the institution of prophecy established by special and chosen intermediaries rather than accepting the existence and unity of Allah. Today, the objections of movements such as atheism and deism to the institution of prophecy make new literature studies more important to prove this issue. The arguments put forward by Ibrahim al-Bacuri (d. 1277/1860) in the context of proof and justification of prophecy are important in terms of reflecting the classical evidences of belief in the institution of prophecy. Bâcûrî generally follows the Ash'ari and Sunni line in this regard, and explains some points based on the transfers he made from Sufi figures and some concepts. Thus, he tries to unite the science of theology and mysticism, bringing two different disciplines closer together. The authors considered the identity of Christian teachers to be an urgent matter because of rapid changes in society, and assumed that such a consideration could help to envision education in an authentic way. They recognised that the current understanding of Christian identity emphasises unity with Christ and, therefore, set out to demonstrate that this unity is not only a matter of private spiritual life, but must also be carefully considered in professional practice. This article is not a research paper per se, but rather an exploratory, constructive essay. The authors examined and elaborated on unity with Christ with the help of the so-called three offices of Christ: prophet, priest, and king. After interpreting the Heidelberg Catechism and bringing it into critical dialogue with contemporary voices, they identified the implications of the three offices for educational practice. The office of prophet was reflected in both the implicit and explicit messages of the teacher. The office of priest was observable in a teacher’s compassionate behaviour, while the office of king was seen in the teacher’s humble citizenship and struggle against evil, as well as in the ethical views that a teacher promotes in class. Three offices were found helpful in rethinking Christian teachers’ role. The implications of this research included the potential for counterbalancing dualistic practices (role of the prophet), placing an emphasis on care instead of neoliberal pressures (role of the priest), and envisioning subject content within the coming of the kingdom (role of the king). Contribution: Through its consideration of the teaching profession in terms of the three offices of Christ, this article’s research seeks to enhance the professional identity of faithful Christian teachers. While the focus is primarily on those employed in Christian schools and also intends to influence the identity of those working in secular settings. The authors argue that teachers are prophets in the messages they impart, priests when they act compassionately, and kings when they encourage dedicated and exemplary citizenship.

Prophetic figures and words are evoked throughout the Old and the New Testaments, from Genesis to Revelation, and they are a foundational resource for liturgy and theology in both Jewish and Christian traditions. The prophets’ most important role, performed in the public eye and sometimes in the presence of kings, is to interpret their own culture and historical moment from the perspective of the divine. Very often these prophetic acts of interpretation issue in social criticism, as prophets proclaim God’s judgment against king and/or people. This article does not attempt to provide a full overview of the phenomenon of prophecy in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament. Rather, after a brief overview of the prophetic literature and role, it focuses on the complex relationships between prophecy, interpretation, and social criticism. This article looks at various aspects of prophetic texts in both Former and Latter Prophets, first in the context of the social structures and agrarian economy of ancient Israel, and secondarily with concern for how those ancient texts may speak to contemporary social situations around the globe. These narratives and poetic oracles of doom and hope put in prophetic perspective the complex ways that religious leaders may interact with those who hold, and often abuse, political and economic power. The prophetic books are to a great extent trauma literature, reflecting the harsh realities of war and exile, unjust land appropriation, famine, and devastating drought. The prophetic message may speak most directly to the current historical moment as it highlights the God-given integrity and flourishing of the created order and how that integrity is disrupted through human misconduct. Although the Prophets are unsparing in their exposure of sin, the whole prophetic canon is editorially shaped to point toward hope for the restoration of Israel and Judah, with the royal house of David as a focal point of radical hope.

The escalating global population and climate change necessitate sustainable livestock production methods to meet rising food demand. Precision Livestock Farming (PLF) integrates information and communication technologies (ICT) to improve farming efficiency and animal health. Unlike traditional methods, PLF uses machine learning (ML) algorithms to analyze data in real time, providing valuable insights to decision makers. Dairy farming in diverse climates is challenging and requires well-designed structures to regulate internal environmental parameters. This study explores the application of the Facebook-developed Prophet algorithm to predict indoor temperatures in a dairy farm over a 72 h horizon. Exogenous variables sourced from the Open-Meteo platform improve the accuracy of the model. The paper details case study construction, data acquisition, preprocessing, and model training, highlighting the importance of seasonality in environmental variables. Model validation using key metrics shows consistent accuracy across different dates, as the mean absolute percentage error on daily base ranges from 1.71% to 2.62%. The results indicate excellent model performance, especially considering the operational context. The study concludes that black box models, such as the Prophet algorithm, are effective for predicting indoor temperatures in livestock buildings and provide valuable insights for environmental control and optimization in livestock production. Future research should explore gray box models that integrate physical building characteristics to improve predictive performance and HVAC system control.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the emergence of the concept of the ‘political man’ in Avicenna’s political thought. We seek to understand how Avicenna approached politics and the role of humanity in public life. Avicenna’s ideal city is constructed upon the foundation of key concepts such as tradition, justice, law, and public consensus, all of which are intricately connected to the supreme world. According to Avicenna, the ideal city serves as the manifestation of supreme knowledge, with the political man playing a dynamic and constructive role within it. Avicenna lived during a time of crisis in the Caliphate, which prompted him to engage deeply with political philosophy. At this juncture, Iranians were in revolt, distanced from the Caliphate, and actively seeking a political alternative. This historical context should be viewed as both a theoretical and practical endeavor. This paper delves into Avicenna’s contribution to this significant political event. In Avicenna’s philosophy, concepts like politics, the city, and the political man, like many others, are comprehensible and recognizable within the framework of the Prophet’s Revelation. Thus, this paper explores the formation of the city, the emergence of its structures, the actions of its rulers, and the role and political presence of its citizens from Avicenna’s perspective.

In this study, we address a demanding time series forecasting problem that deals simultaneously with the following: (1) intermittent time series, (2) multi-step ahead forecasting, (3) time series with multiple seasonal periods, and (4) performance measures for model selection across multiple time series. Current literature deals with these types of problems separately, and no study has dealt with all these characteristics simultaneously. To fill this knowledge gap, we begin by reviewing all the necessary existing literature relevant to this case study with the goal of proposing a framework capable of achieving adequate forecast accuracy for such a complex problem. Several adaptions and innovations have been conducted, which are marked as contributions to the literature. Specifically, we proposed a weighted average forecast combination of many cutting-edge models based on their out-of-sample performance. To gather strong evidence that our ensemble model works in practice, we undertook a large-scale study across 98 time series, rigorously assessed with unbiased performance measures, where a week seasonal naïve was set as a benchmark. The results demonstrate that the proposed ensemble model achieves eye-catching forecasting accuracy.

Saint Birgitta of Sweden (1303–1373), one of the most powerful visionary women from the late Middle Ages, was celebrated as a prophet and a sibyl long into seventeenth century. A common suggestion has been that Birgitta’s prophetic status was crafted by her supporters after her death. My claim, however, is that the construction of the prophet was the result of a highly conscious strategy which followed Birgitta from the very beginning of her visionary career, and to which both her supporters and she herself carefully contributed. We meet the traces of such a construction in the earliest hagiographers’ accounts, in the confessors’ ardent supports, and in the many witnesses from the canonization process. Difficult times in the history of humanity, such as global pandemics, global wars, ecological degradation, drought, poverty and unemployment, require not just leadership, but sustainable leadership. Inspired by the leadership model of Nelson Mandela, this article sought to tap into the resourcefulness of the missional reading of 2 Kings 2:1–18 and use the leadership model of prophet Elijah to unpack what it means to be a sustainable leader in the context of uncertainty. Relying upon literature analysis and a missional reading of 2 Kings 2:1–18, this article concluded that sustainable leadership, taking after the model of prophet Elijah, has five distinctive features, that is, human, missional, mentorship, management of transitions, and transformation. Intradisciplinary and/or interdisciplinary implications: This article investigates the issue of sustainable leadership in the context of uncertainties such as global pandemics, global wars, ecological degradation, among others. It contributes to the disciplines of missiology and missional hermeneutics, biblical theology, and sustainability theories, in particular issues of Christian leadership.

Penjualan merupakan komponen terpenting dalam suatu perusahaan bidang industri. Hal ini dikarenakan, bila terjadi penjualan berarti terdapat pendapatan ke dalam perusahaan, oleh karena itu penting untuk dilakukan analisis terhadap produk-produk yang terjual agar perusahaan dapat mempersiapkan lebih dini sebelum permintaan terhadap produk tersebut datang, guna dapat menghasilkan pendapatan yang lebih baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan ARIMA, SVR, FFT dan Prophet sebagai metode-metode untuk peramalan dan menggunakan MAPE dan RMSPE untuk mengukur tingkat akurasinya, juga untuk melihat apakah terjadinya seasonality terhadap produk-produk yang di analisis, digunakan seasonal_decompose. Hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa ARIMA dan Prophet merupakan metode peramalan terbaik, hal ini karena kedua metode tersebut memiliki nilai MAPE dan RMSPE yang terendah. Dan setelah di analisis menggunakan seasonal_decompose, didapatkan bahwa semua produk yang diteliti memiliki pola yang berulang di waktu tertentu setiap kuartalnya. Untuk analisis lebih lanjut, dilakukan komparasi head-to-head, dimana digunakan 20 sampel produk untuk setiap kategorinya, Maka dihasilkan dari analisis ini bahwa produk pada Kategori 1 lebih baik menggunakan ARIMA dan produk pada Kategori 2 lebih baik menggunakan Prophet.

Environmental pollution is a serious concern nowadays with its disastrous impact on living organisms. In several types of pollution, Air pollution takes on a crucial role by directly affecting the respiratory system and causing fatal diseases in humans. Air pollution is a mixture of gaseous and particulate matter interweaved by different sources and emanating into the atmosphere. In particular, particle pollutants are critical in growing air pollution in India's main cities. Forecasting the particulate matter could mitigate the complications caused by it. The employment of a model to predict future values based on previously observed values is known as time series forecasting. In this paper, the PM2.5 pollutant emission data recorded at the Kodungaiyur region of Chennai city were forecasted using three-time series models. The standard ARIMA model is compared with the deep learning-based LSTM model and Facebook's developed Prophet algorithm. This comparison helps to identify an appropriate forecasting model for PM2.5 pollutant emission. Since May 2022, over 64,000 Monkeypox cases have been confirmed globally up until September 2022. The United States leads the world in cases, with over 25,000 cases nationally. This recent escalation of the Monkeypox outbreak has become a severe and urgent worldwide public health concern. We aimed to develop an efficient forecasting tool that allows health experts to implement effective prevention policies for Monkeypox and shed light on the case development of diseases that share similar characteristics to Monkeypox. This research utilized five machine learning models, namely, ARIMA, LSTM, Prophet, NeuralProphet, and a stacking model, on the Monkeypox datasets from the CDC official website to forecast the next 7-day trend of Monkeypox cases in the United States. The result showed that NeuralProphet achieved the most optimal performance with a RMSE of 49.27 and R 2 of 0.76. Further, the final trained NeuralProphet was employed to forecast seven days of out-of-sample cases. On the basis of cases, our model demonstrated 95% accuracy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

With the development of Internet of Things, sensor devices collect massive amounts of data. However, due to privacy protection requirement, data cannot be shared and collected. How to integrate independent perception data into deep learning is one of the most challenging problems. In this paper, we present a novel framework (FedProLs) for IoT perception data prediction based on a horizontal federated learning model. The framework is constructed by the client nodes and the server nodes, and the training data of the federated learning system is deployed on the client nodes. Each client uses its own data to train machine learning models locally and encrypts its training model parameters and sends it to the server nodes. The server node uses the federated averaging method to construct a global model for prediction. In addition, we propose a new multi-feature factor model (ProLs) as a client-node machine learning model. Finally, the proposed FedProLs and ProLs models are compared with the single model Prophet, LSTM and BP Neural Networks, and combine model CNN-LSTM, ARIMA. The experimental results using two real-life IoT perception data sets demonstrate that the FedProLs and the participants' ProLs achieves better results in terms of Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) and Mean Absolute Error (MAE) than existing methods. This study offers a fresh reading of John the Baptist's infancy and childhood narratives in the Gospel of Luke. It argues that Luke utilizes the motif of "hiddenness" to create tension so that John bursts forth into his public ministry in Israel from a place of obscurity. John suddenly appears in public to prepare the way for the messiah. Islamic feminism, as a discourse within feminism, aims to re-read the Qur'an from a modern egalitarian perspective, which is outside the traditional and patriarchal interpretation of Islam. Islamic feminists reclaim an ethical vision of the Qur'an by presenting a reinterpretation, especially regarding verses that deprive women from having equal rights in the family, as well as in society. However, while Islamic feminism presents a gender equal interpretation of the Qur'an and raises new discourses and debates on gender relations in an Islamic context, a critical insight of Islamic feminism can provide a new gender and religious consciousness that, in turn, develops further perspectives on gender equality in a religious context. This paper aims to provide a critique of Islamic feminism from a social psychological perspective of gender using the theory of Abdulkarim Soroush. His theory considers revelation as the prophet's word resulting from his religious experience. Soroush defines revelation as an inspiration; in this way, revelation or Qur'an is not directly God's word, but Muhammad's word resulting from a divine experience. Accordingly, this paper deals with a social psychological perspective of the lived experience of the prophet as a man in a certain epoch of history, in which the lived experiences of women were not represented, and the revelation or the Qur'an is based on a male lived experience. It begins with an overview of Islamic feminists as well as the more general current of Islamic reformists and their efforts to view the revelation as the word of the prophet in order to avoid attributing the non-scientific content of the Qur'an to the direct word of God. This is followed by a critique of Islamic feminism based on Abdulkarim Soroush's theory of the recognition of the revelation as the word of the prophet, as well as gender theories from the field of social psychology. Time series forecasting and analysis are widely used in many fields and application scenarios. Time series historical data reflects the change pattern and trend, which can serve the application and decision in each application scenario to a certain extent. In this paper, we select the time series prediction problem in the atmospheric environment scenario to start the application research. In terms of data support, we obtain the data of nearly 3500 vehicles in some cities in China fromRunwoda Research Institute, focusing on the major pollutant emission data of non-road mobile machinery and high emission vehicles in Beijing and Bozhou, Anhui Province to build the dataset and conduct the time series prediction analysis experiments on them. This paper proposes a P-gLSTNet model, and uses Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average model (ARIMA), long and short-term memory (LSTM), and Prophet to predict and compare the emissions in the future period. The experiments are validated on four public data sets and one self-collected data set, and the mean absolute error (MAE), root mean square error (RMSE), and mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) are selected as the evaluationmetrics. The experimental results show that the proposed P-gLSTNet fusion model predicts less error, outperforms the backbone method, and is more suitable for the prediction of time-series data in this scenario. In our article, we seek to find answers to questions such as whether there are a differences between the depictions of Jesus' personality in the Gospels and the Qur’ān, and if so, whether these differences indicate distortion or have a specific meaning in the sources. Using the documentation method, We first try to reveal how Jesus was introduced in the religious sources of Christianity and Islam. Later, we determine the personality of Jesus by referring to the Gospels and the Qur’ān. The interpretations of Christians' holy books and Islamic interpretations, encyclopedias, books, magazines and articles about the personality of Jesus were copyrighted after being labeled and classified. Jesus, as a historical figure, is the most commented prophet on his life.Issues such as his birth, childhood, youth, death and resurrection have been discussed for years by both Christian and Muslim theologians. The issues discussed by the theologians have been wondered by people and many works have been put forward.The basic sources about Jesus, which is the subject of the research, are the Bibles and Bible interpretations for Christians; for Muslims, they are the Qur’ān, tafsir and hadith books. As a historical figure, Jesus is the most commented prophet on his life. For this reason, the personality of Jesus in the Gospels and the Qur’ān has been tried to be presented comparatively. In our opinion, it will be useful to reveal the differences between the texts of the Bible and the Qur’ān. Although the personality of Jesus is described in the Gospels by entering details such as place, time and people, it is revealed as a phenomenon in the Qur’ān without giving any details. In the Christian faith, St. Jesus is considered as one of the elements that make up the trinity, the fundamental belief of many Christians. According to them, St. Jesus is not merely a prophet, but also the eternal word of God, the son of God, who is essentially one with God. Furthermore, according to Christian belief, Jesus who originally resided with God, came to Earth after Adam’s expulsion from heaven, assuming human nature to save people living in sin by purifying them from their sins. In contrast, the Qur’ān offers a distinct portrayal of Jesus. According to the Qur’ān, he is a prophet appointed by Allah. The Qur’ān aims to correct the erroneous beliefs of Christians. Accordingly, The personage of Jesus is not a fable or a story, but a real piece of evidence from which people should learn. Unlike the Christian belidf, the Qur’ān does not present Jesus as the son of God; rather, he is recognized solely as a prophet. The main purpose of this article is to portray King David as a prophet in the Targum Jonathan to the Books of Samuel. We first analyze the question where and how David's prophetic character is shown implicitly in the texts of the Hebrew Bible. We also ponder when the concept of David as a prophet was born. Against this background, the paper analyzes the pericopes in the Targum Jonathan to the Books of Samuel that explicitly mention David as a prophet (TgJ 2 Sam 18:3; 22:1-51; 23:1-7). The word Magus in Islamic sources refers to Zoroastrians. This word is used in the Holy Quran, hadith sources of Fariqin and many historical documents. This research, with a descriptive-analytical method, deals with the extraction and analysis of Magi in Sunni hadith sources. The text is based on hadiths that were narrated from the Prophet of Islam (PBUH). Among the other infallibles (a.s.), only one hadith from Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (a.s.) and two hadiths from Imam Sadiq (a.s.) have been narrated. The total of hadiths includes various topics, which are collected under six general and three partial titles. Some narrations refer to religious issues, some refer to the customs of Magi, and most of them refer to jurisprudence of Magi. The collected hadiths refer to Zoroastrians, and they do not mention Zoroastrian and his religion. Among the hadith subjects, the titles of shaving the beard and raising the mustache, chess, qadrieh and dualism had the possibility of matching with the themes of Zoroastrian sources, and this comparison was made. Regarding the content of the hadith about shaving the beard and raising the mustache of the Magi, it can be said that no evidence was found in the Zoroastrian sources to strengthen the content of this hadith, although there are some historical documents confirming this action of the Magi. The authors considered the identity of Christian teachers to be an urgent matter because of rapid changes in society, and assumed that such a consideration could help to envision education in an authentic way. They recognised that the current understanding of Christian identity emphasises unity with Christ and, therefore, set out to demonstrate that this unity is not only a matter of private spiritual life, but must also be carefully considered in professional practice. This article is not a research paper per se, but rather an exploratory, constructive essay. The authors examined and elaborated on unity with Christ with the help of the so-called three offices of Christ: prophet, priest, and king. After interpreting the Heidelberg Catechism and bringing it into critical dialogue with contemporary voices, they identified the implications of the three offices for educational practice. The office of prophet was reflected in both the implicit and explicit messages of the teacher. The office of priest was observable in a teacher's compassionate behaviour, while the office of king was seen in the teacher's humble citizenship and struggle against evil, as well as in the ethical views that a teacher promotes in class. Three offices were found helpful in rethinking Christian teachers' role. The implications of this research included the potential for counterbalancing dualistic practices (role of the prophet), placing an emphasis on care instead of neoliberal pressures (role of the priest), and envisioning subject content within the coming of the kingdom (role of the king). Contribution: Through its consideration of the teaching profession in terms of the three offices of Christ, this article's research seeks to enhance the professional identity of faithful Christian teachers. While the focus is primarily on those employed in Christian schools and also intends to influence the identity of those working in secular settings. The authors argue that teachers are prophets in the messages they impart, priests when they act compassionately, and kings when they encourage dedicated and exemplary citizenship.
