Acompanha: Ficha instrumental para o uso de filmes em sala de aula O Cinema enquanto forma de representar e perceber o mundo e o homem, além de importante linguagem artística, tornou-se elemento determinante para a comunicação de massa do século XX. Como tal passou a se apropriar das diferentes áreas do conhecimento, no intuito de criar roteiros e narrativas que aproximassem a poética artística cinematográfica dos fenômenos cotidianos da natureza e da existência humana, aproximando a Arte Cinematográfica de uma suposta realidade. Essa relação permite a criação de filmes que, além do puro e simples entretenimento, possibilitam o seu uso nas mais diferentes formas de aprendizagem. A partir dessa perspectiva, essa pesquisa teve como principal objetivo, desenvolver e apresentar uma proposta, na qual o Cinema de entretenimento, se configure como um instrumental para o ensino de Física e da História da Ciência. Para tanto foram utilizados os filmes Anjos e Demônios (Angels & Demons - 2009) e O Nome da Rosa (The Name of the Rose - 1986), filmes de entretenimento, sucessos de público e que apresentam entre seus temas principais a História da Ciência e as relações entre Ciência e Religião. Cada um dos filmes trabalha narrativas que envolvem o Conhecimento Científico. Essa pesquisa propõe que o Cinema seja entendido em sala de aula como uma linguagem artística, com suas especificidades e não como uma simples forma complementar para um tema ou um conteúdo. Nossa proposta está centrada numa análise fílmica que apresenta a obra cinematográfica como um instrumento de aprendizagem da Ciência, em especial, da História da Ciência. Assim, metodologicamente, a pesquisa ocorreu a partir de dois eixos principais: a análise fílmica a partir da teoria apresentada por Erwin Panofsky em seu livro Significado nas Artes Visuais (2007), denominado metodologia panofyskiana, iconológico ou histórico social e o estudo historiográfico na História da Ciência, apresentado pelo professor Ubiratan D’Ambrósio (2004). A pesquisa contribui, de forma inédita, para que o Cinema ou filmes feitos para o Cinema, possam ser entendidos como linguagem artística que possibilita aos atores envolvidos num processo de Ensino e Aprendizagem, usufruir dos recursos dessa linguagem como instrumento didático pedagógico para as aulas de Física ou Ciências. The Cinema as a way of represent and perceive the world and the man, besides important artistic language, became determining factor for mass communication of the twentieth century. As such, it started appropriate of the different areas of knowledge, in order to create scripts and narratives that approximate the cinematographic artistic poetics of the everyday phenomena of the nature and human existence, approaching the Cinematographic Art of a supposed reality. This relation allows the creation of movies that, besides of pure and simple entertaning, make it possible to use them in different forms of learning. From this perspective, this research had as a main purpose, develop and submit a proposal in wich the entertainment Cinema be an instrument of teaching Physics and the History of Science. For this purpose, the movies Angels and Demons (2009) and The Name of the Rose (1986), entertainment movies, audience hits that present among their main themes the History of Science and the relations between Science and Religion. Each one of the movies works narratives that involve the Scientific Knowledge. This research proposes that the Cinema be understood in the classroom as an artistic language, with their specificities and not as a simple complementary form to a theme or a content. Our proposal focuses on film analysis that present the cinematographic work as a Science learning tool, in particular, the History of Science. So, methodologically, the research occurred from two main axes: the film analysis from the presented theory by Erwin Panofsky in his book Meaning in the Visual Arts (2007), denominated Panofsky method, iconological or social history and the historiographic study in the History of Science, presented by the professor Ubiratan D’Ambrósio (2004). The research contributes, in a inedited way, so that the Cinema or movies made to the Cinema can be understood as an artistic language that make it possible to the subjects involved in the process of Teaching and Learning to use the resources of language as pedagogical and didactic instrument for the classes of Physics or Sciences.

Observar, hipotetizar, colocar teorias ou percepções à prova sob certas circunstâncias, errar ou acertar e generalizar são comuns a ambos os processos. Entretanto, observa-se a pouca ou nenhuma referência ao emprego da História da Ciência no Ensino Médio. Tendo em vista essa problemática, esta pesquisa procura discutir as seguintes questões: Como os professores do Ensino Médio abordam a construção da História da Ciência ao ensinar Queda dos Corpos? Como esse tema é abordado no material de apoio dos professores? Dicotomia ou Convergência entre o discurso dos professores e o material de apoio? Diante dessas questões, o objetivo desta pesquisa constitui em relacionar a abordagem dos professores do Ensino Médio sobre a construção da História da Ciência ao tratar o conceito de Queda dos Corpos com o material de apoio que utilizam. A constituição dos dados foi realizada por meio de entrevistas gravadas e em seguida transcritas. A análise destes dados, foi fundamentada na fenomenologia de acordo com Bicudo (2000) e Martins (1988). A pesquisa mostra que os professores possuem lacunas em sua formação inicial, dificuldades em complementar o material de apoio, assim como concepções distorcidas sobre o uso da História da Ciência; apontando para a necessidade de um curso de formação continuada para estes professores Abstract: The process of building the history of science converges with the process of building students' knowledge (learning process). Observe, hypothesize, put theories to the test or perceptions under right circumstances wrong or right and generalizing are common to both processes. However, there is little or no reference to the use of the History of Science in High School. In view of this problem, this research search to discuss the following questions: How do high school teachers approach the construction of the History of Science when teaching the Fall Bodies? How is this topic addressed in the teacher support material? Dichotomy or Convergence between teacher discourse and supportive material? In view of these questions, the objective of this research is to relate the approach of the professors of High School on the construction of the History of Science when dealing with the concept of Falling of the Bodies with the material of support that they use. The data gathering was done recorded interviews and then transcribed. The analysis of these data was based on phenomenology according to Bicudo (2000) and Martins (1988). The research indicates that the teachers have gaps in their initial formation, difficulties in complementing the support material, as well as distorted conceptions about the use of the History of Science; pointing to the need for a continuing training course for these teachers 147 f. : il. Acompanha: Praxinoscópio e zootrópio: brinquedos ópticos na relação arte-ciência O desenvolvimento científico foi responsável por consolidar o início da ciência moderna. A presente pesquisa procurou problematizar a necessidade de aproximar Arte e Ciência reelaborando os aparelhos ópticos Zootrópio e Praxinoscópio, desenvolvendo, assim, o conhecimento artístico e o cientifico por meio de uma atividade lúdica e interdisciplinar entre Arte e Física. Para tanto foi fundamental o princípio da percepção visual e o da ilusão óptica, utilizando-se da movimentação de quadros estáticos (frame by frame). A reconstrução destes instrumentos ancorou-se nas oficinas de um Projeto de Extensão intitulado “Técnicas de Representação da Imagem: Do Renascimento à Fotografia”, dividida em duas oficinas especificas “Zootrópio: uma arte vista entre frestas luminosas” e “Praxinoscópio: o reflexo fragmentado da animação”. Os dados obtidos na pesquisa foram analisados em suas modalidades qualitativa e descritiva, tendo como fonte direta as informações mais próximas do ambiente escolar natural. Na fundamentação da pesquisa destacaram-se alguns teóricos, que abordaram fenômenos físicos presentes na vida cotidiana, como Perelman, Arnheim, Crary, Santaella, Fogliano e Lucena envolvendo as diferentes análises sobre a percepção visual e sua influência para cada observador na identificação de diferentes objetos. A narração histórica e cronológica dos primeiros inventos ópticos foram baseados em Briggs e Burgue, abordando as questões que envolvem a imagem enquanto forma de comunicação, especialmente com o advento da fotografia. A pesquisa finaliza-se com os resultados das oficinas e as observações dos alunos do curso de Licenciatura em Ciências Naturais, da Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR) - campus Ponta Grossa. Scientific development was responsible for consolidating the beginning of modern science. The present research sought to problematize the need to approach Art and Science by reworking the optical devices Zootrope and Praxinoscope, thus developing artistic and scientific knowledge through a playful and interdisciplinary activity between Art and Physics. For this, the principle of visual perception and optical illusion was fundamental, using frameby-frame motion. The reconstruction of these instruments was anchored in the workshops of an Extension Project entitled "Techniques of Image Representation: From the Renaissance to Photography", divided into two specific workshops "Zootrope: an art seen between luminous cracks" and "Praxinoscope: the fragmented reflection of animation ". The data obtained in the research were analyzed in their qualitative and descriptive modalities, having as direct source the information closest to the natural school environment. Some of the theorists focused on physical phenomena present in everyday life, such as Perelman, Arnheim, Crary, Santaella, Fogliano and Lucena, involving the different analyzes on visual perception and their influence for each observer in the identification of different objects. The historical and chronological narration of early optical inventions were based on Briggs and Burgue, addressing issues involving the image as a form of communication, especially with the advent of photography. The research is finished with the results of the workshops and the observations of the students of the undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences, of the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR) - Ponta Grossa campus.

Acompanha: Entendendo a radioatividade com a ajuda do Watchmen Esta pesquisa utiliza as histórias em quadrinhos das séries “Watchmen” e “Before Watchmen - Dr. Manhattan” como base para ensinar física com enfoque CTS, levando em consideração a interdisciplinaridade da linguagem da arte sequencial. As revistas selecionadas inter-relacionam conteúdos referentes a física, história, sociologia, filosofia e arte em uma narrativa que gira em torno da física atômica, fazendo assim com que possam ser utilizadas como ferramenta para fazer um primeiro contato entre alunos e conteúdo e assim aumentar o engajamento. Esta pesquisa objetiva buscar informações para a elaboração de um material didático na forma de histórias em quadrinhos para o ensino de física, para isso utiliza-se de textos de diversos autores como Kakalios e Will Eisner, além de questionários e da matriz dialógica problematizadora. This research uses the comics from the series “Watchmen” and “Before Watchmen Dr. Manhattan” as a base to teach physics with and enphasis on STS, considering the interdisciplinarity of the sequential arts, which on the selected comics interrelates subjects referring to physics, history, sociology, philosophy and art in a narrative that revolves around atomic physics, making it possible to use it as a tool for a first contact between the students and the subject as a way to increase the students engagement when studying physics with an enphasis on STS, specially on subjects concerning modern physcis. This research presents an history of the uses of comic books in teaching, historic reports concerning the dangers that a lack of information and the scarcity of a education focused on STS can cause when populations interact with radioactive technological artifacts.

Acompanha: Oficina de luteria e laboratório de acústica: guia adidático Como é a relação entre acústica e luteria? Tal pergunta é a que se faz o pesquisador ao início da escrita desta dissertação. Mesma pergunta que faz para cinco professores envolvidos com ensino de luteria, participantes da formação do luthier em cursos de duas instituições brasileiras. Esta pesquisa, diante da questão central, tem como objetivo delinear contribuições para esclarecer e favorecer a relação entre luteria e acústica desvelada na perspectiva de ser-luthier, em experiência e compreensão. Através de um estudo de campo, voltou o olhar para a comunidade formada por professores e estudantes ligados à acústica e luteria, particularmente, nas duas instituições brasileiras, sendo que numa delas o pesquisador se colocou como observador participante. Realizou entrevistas com os professores nas duas instituições. Numa delas, especificamente, participou em sala de aula como professor. Assim, tomou contato com reverberações imediatas da atividade didática nos estudantes em formação como luthiers. Antes da entrada em sala e aula, renovava a perspectiva como professor enquanto elaborava uma estratégia didática para favorecer a relação. Para isto, considerou experiências em campo e base na invenção de uma Ilha de Interdisciplinar de Racionalidade de Gérard Fourez, assim como na Teoria das Situações Didáticas de Guy Brousseau, principalmente, sob a noção de situações adidáticas. Os discursos dos entrevistados foram compreendidos através de uma das maiores lições da fenomenologia, a redução fenomenológica. O pesquisador buscou desvelar o fenômeno (antes estruturado para sua consciência) na descrição de cada entrevistado, ao que contribuíram as experiências em campo. Ao fim, desvelou a relação entre acústica e luteria na perspectiva do ser-luthier. Encontrava as próprias possibilidades de vir a ser luthier. Em conclusão do captado com a pesquisa, uma separação apareceu entre acústica e luteria, como um muro impedindo sua relação. Porém, ao perscrutar a essência através da consciência pura da relação (destituída de preconceitos, limitações, predefinições), o muro apareceu insustentável. A relação está nos fundamentos basais da prática da luteria, que tem a acústica como parte indispensável da formação do luthier. Precisa ser reencontrada no enfrentamento dos desafios da prática, sem ludibriá-los através da estética visual e de modelos predefinidos. Ao mesmo tempo, dependerá da superação dos obstáculos interpostos ao confrontar os desafios, contanto com a colaboração entre diversas perspectivas, bem como com a comunicação e compartilhamento aberto de informações. A reflexão sobre as ações didáticas do pesquisador e pela própria redução fenomenológica foi constante. Dela, emergiu um caminho para favorecer a relação entre acústica e luteria. O produto final das experiências e reflexões aparece no Guia Adidático que acompanha esta dissertação. How is the relation between acoustics and lutherie? The researcher asks himself this question at the beginning of the dissertation, the same that directs to five teachers involved in lutherie teaching, participants in the luthier formation in courses of two Brazilian institutions. This research, from the initial question, aims to delineate contributions to clarify and favor the relation between lutherie and acoustics unveiled in the perspective of the being that takes it in experience and understanding. Delineated as a field study, looks inside a community formed by teachers and students correlated to acoustics and lutherie, particularly in the two Brazilian institutions. In one institution the researchers becomes a participant observer, where conducts interviews with five teachers in both institutions. In one of them, specifically, toked participant observation in classroom. So takes contact with effects of the immediate implications of (your and by others teachers) didactic's activities on students of lutherie. Concomitantly, developed a didactic strategy to favor the relation between acoustics and lutherie, considering experiences in the field and reasoned in the Interdisciplinary Island of Rationality of Gérard Fourez, as well as Theory of the Didactic Situations of Guy Brousseau, especially the concept of adidactic situation. The discourses of the interviewers are understood through one of the greatest lessons of phenomenology, the phenomenological reduction. The researcher sets out to unveil the phenomenon, previously structured for him, to which the experiences in the field contribute. At the end, the relation between acoustics and lutherie is revealed in being-luthier perspective. Also as a becoming-luthier, taking part in the possibility luthier formation. By field study and the phenomenological reduction, a separation was shown between acoustic and lutherie as a wall blocking the relation. However, inside pure consciousness of relation (leaving of prejudice, limitation, determinism), the wall seemed unsustainable. The relation is in basal foundations for practice lutherie, that take the acoustic how indispensable component of luthier formation. Need to be rediscovered through facing practice’s challenges, without cod them by aesthetics and predefined templates. At same time, will depend overcoming obstacles step in practice, counting on collaboration by others perspectives, as well with open communication and sharing information. In the constant reflection of the didactic actions of the researcher, from the beginning to end of the research, he elaborates and re-elaborates didactic's activities. The experiences and reflections conform an Adidactic Guide, as technical production parallel to present dissertation.

Acompanha: Produção científica e visual por meio de oficinas de leitura de imagem de temas da astronomia (material didático) A formação de alunos com competência para o enfrentamento aos avanços acelerados no contexto tecnológico e científico é uma condição exigida pela sociedade atual. Mas, como atender as atuais necessidades do país, se ainda nos deparamos com um conhecimento fragmentado em disciplinas, sem fazer relação com a realidade do aluno? Como conseguir potencializar competências transversais se por outro lado ainda nos defrontamos com dificuldades no ensino de Ciências no cenário brasileiro? O presente estudo objetivou sugerir uma proposta de alfabetização visual e científica, que propiciasse a leitura, e a análise de representações astronômicas em espaços interdisciplinares, que favorecessem as áreas de Artes Visuais e Física. A pesquisa se justifica porque apresenta uma proposta de tornar exequível de um ensino, que não apenas propicie conhecimentos prontos, mas que priorize uma alfabetização científica e visual, que permita fazer conexões entre diferentes áreas do conhecimento, e que operadas juntas possam dar conta de esclarecer as relações existentes entre Ciência, Arte, tecnologia e sociedade. Para responder estas indagações partiu-se da hipótese que o entendimento da leitura de imagem aplicada no cotidiano dos alunos propiciaria competência para resolver problemas do cotidiano. A leitura e a análise de representações astronômicas em espaços interdisciplinares oferecem uma inovação na maneira de interpretar, ou uma nova linguagem que possa ir além do senso comum. Na atualidade se faz premente novas práticas pedagógicas, que ampliem o conhecimento, e habilitem os nossos alunos para o enfrentamento das novas tecnologias, para a compreensão da Ciência, para que possam corresponder aos novos desafios da contemporaneidade. The training of students with competence to cope with accelerated advances in the technological and scientific context is a condition demanded by today's society. But, how to meet the current needs of the country, if we still come across a fragmented knowledge in disciplines, without relation to the reality of the student? How can we maximize transversal competences if, on the other hand, we still face difficulties in teaching science in the Brazilian scenario? The present study aimed to suggest a proposal of visual and scientific literacy that would allow the reading and analysis of astronomical representations in interdisciplinary spaces favoring the Visual Arts and Physics areas. The research is justified because it presents a proposal to make feasible a teaching that not only provides ready knowledge, but which prioritizes a scientific and visual literacy, that allows to make connections between different areas of knowledge, and that operated together can account for clarifying The existing relations between Science, Art, technology, and society. In order to answer these questions, it was hypothesized that the understanding of the reading of the image applied in the daily life of the students would give competence to solve daily problems. Reading and analyzing astronomical representations in interdisciplinary spaces offers an innovation in the way of interpreting, or a new language that can go beyond common sense. Nowadays, new pedagogical practices are intensified, which broaden the knowledge, and enable our students to face the new technologies, to understand science, so that they can respond to the new challenges of the contemporary world.

Acompanha: Um kit didático para o ensino de eletrostática CAPES Neste trabalho descrevemos a aplicação de uma Sequência Didática para o ensino dos conceitos de Carga Elétrica, Força Elétrica e Campo Elétrico em uma Escola da Rede Pública de Ensino, da cidade de Pato Branco, Paraná. Esta Sequência Didática foi elaborada com base nos pressupostos da Teoria da Aprendizagem Significativa de David Ausubel e aplicada em duas turmas da terceira série no primeiro bimestre de 2016. Os instrumentos utilizados para a coleta de dados foram: as atividades realizadas pelos estudantes, os questionários de identificação de conhecimentos prévios e de avaliação da aprendizagem e o questionário de avaliação dos recursos instrucionais. Os resultados foram analisados qualitativamente. Tais análises mostraram que os alunos se apropriaram, gradualmente, dos conceitos trabalhados na Sequência Didática e foram capazes de aplicá-los de forma adequada para solucionarem as situações-problema propostas. Os resultados obtidos no questionário de avaliação dos recursos instrucionais indicaram que o uso do Experimento, das Histórias em Quadrinhos e dos Jogos Didáticos contribuiu para despertar o interesse dos alunos para o conteúdo abordado na Sequência Didática, tornando-os mais participativos e receptivos. Dessa forma, os resultados indicaram que a Sequência Didática elaborada com base nos pressupostos da Teoria da Aprendizagem Significativa para introduzir os conceitos de Carga Elétrica, Força Elétrica e Campo Elétrico teve um resultado positivo. In this work, we describe the application of a Teaching Sequence of the concepts of Electric Charge, Electrical Power and Electric Field in a Public Teaching School, in Pato Branco, Paraná. This Teaching Sequence was elaborated based in the assumptions of the Significant Learning Theory from David Ausubel and applied in two classes of 3rd grade in the first two months of 2016. The instruments used to the data collection were: the activities realized by the students, the questionnaires of previous knowledge identification and knowledge evaluation and the instructional resources evaluation questionnaire. The results were analyzed in a qualitative way. These analysis showed that the students appropriated, gradually, the concepts worked in the Teaching Sequence and they were able to apply them in the right way to solve the proposed problem situations. The obtained results in the instructional resources evaluation questionnaire indicate that the practice of the Experiment, the Comic books and the Didactic games contributed to awaken the interest of the students to the contents of the Teaching Sequence. In this way, the results indicated that a Teaching Sequence elaborated based in the assumptions of the Significant Learning Theory to introduce the concepts of Electric Charge, Electrical Power and Electric Field had a positive result.

Acompanha: Proposta de ensino: simulações de experimentos físicos utilizando o software Algodoo Mediante os problemas enfrentados pelo ensino de física, a massificação da informação e a necessidade de utilizar os recursos tecnológicos em nossas práticas pedagógicas, o presente trabalho busca responder ao seguinte questionamento: Quais as contribuições que um software de simulação pode ter na aprendizagem dos conteúdos de cinemática e dinâmica? E, mediante ao problema apresentado, a presente pesquisa terá como objetivo geral verificar a adequação e a compreensão dos fenômenos físicos relacionados à cinemática e dinâmica por meio da produção e aplicação de simulações virtuais. Metodologicamente a pesquisa se caracteriza como aplicada, quantitativa e exploratória. Durante o desenvolvimento das atividades foram modelados no software Algodoo experimentos historicamente e conceitualmente importantes para os conteúdos de cinemática e dinâmica. O trabalho foi desenvolvido, no primeiro semestre de 2015, com duas turmas do 9º ano do Ensino Fundamental II de um colégio da rede particular da cidade de Maringá, interior do Paraná, Brasil. Em cada turma havia o número de 35 alunos. A fundamentação teórica consiste em um embasamento sobre a Teoria de Aprendizagem Significativa como proposta para o ensino de física tendo como avaliação os mapas conceituais e por fim uma discussão sobre a utilização de Tecnologias de Comunicação (TICs) no ensino de ciências em geral. Apresenta-se também uma descrição metodológica contendo a elaboração do instrumento de pesquisa no qual foi realizado uma contextualização histórica de cada experimento aplicado e o instrumento de coleta de dados. Posteriormente, foram organizadas as concepções prévias dos alunos antes da aplicação das atividades e os mapas conceituais construídos após o término do processo. Os resultados obtidos mostraram que a utilização do software pode contribuir na construção do conhecimento científico quando utilizado com práticas pedagógicas adequadas e, além disso, contribui para a mudança de postura dos alunos durante as aulas. By the problems faced by the teaching of physics, the mass of information and the need of using technological resources in our teaching practices, this article seeks to answer the following question: What are the contributions that a simulation software can have on the content of learning kinematics and dynamics? And, by the problem presented, this research will have the overall objective to verify the adequacy and comprehension of physical phenomena related to kinematics and dynamics through the production and application of virtual simulations. Methodologically the research is characterized as applied, quantitative and exploratory. During the development of the activities they were modeled in experiments Algodoo software historically and conceptually important for kinematic and dynamic content. The study was conducted in the first semester of 2015 with two classes of the 9th grade of a particular elementary school in the city of Maringa, Paraná state, Brazil. In each class there was the number of 35 students. The theoretical framework consists of a basement on the Meaningful Learning Theory as a proposal for physics teaching with concept maps as an evaluation and finally a discussion about the use of communication technologies (ICT) in general science education. Furthermore, it presents a methodological description containing the preparation of the questionnaire was conducted in which a historical contextualization of each experiment and applied the data collection instrument. Later, they were organized the preconceptions of students before the implementation of activities and concept maps built after the end of the process. The results showed that the use of the software can contribute to the construction of scientific knowledge when used with adequated teaching practices and also contributes to the change in students' attitude in class.

Orientador: Prof. Dr. Marcos Cesar Danhoni Neves Dissertação (mestrado em Matemática) - Universidade Estadual de Maringá, 2016 RESUMO: As pesquisas voltadas para o ensino da Cosmologia ainda estão a caminhar a passos lentos, uma vez que, há poucos estudos desenvolvidos com esse enfoque. Nesta perspectiva, considerando as inquietudes pertinentes à origem do universo, este trabalho tem por objetivo investigar o discurso de seis professores e pesquisadores de duas instituições de ensino superior, sendo uma de âmbito nacional e outra internacional. A reflexão e discussão sobre as teorias cosmológicas e conflitos conceituais inerentes as mesmas, fazem-se necessárias nos diferentes níveis de ensino, a fim de evidenciar o caráter provisório do conhecimento científico. Para tanto, este trabalho terá como foco de estudo três evidências empíricas complexas que não permitem apenas uma interpretação: desvios para o vermelho (redshifts); radiação cósmica de fundo (CBR) e quasares. A obtenção dos dados se deu por meio de entrevistas filmadas, para posterior transcrição e interpretação das mesmas. A análise dos dados foi embasada nos pressupostos teóricos e metodológicos da pesquisa fenomenológica, segundo BICUDO (2000) e MARTINS (1994). Ao término das análises concluiu-se que a importância do ensino da Cosmologia ainda não é consenso entre os professores e pesquisadores, bem como a metodologia a ser adotada. Em relação à abordagem de modelos cosmológicos alternativos ao modelo padrão, os sujeitos de pesquisa, também não estão em consonância. Ademais, parece ser unanimidade entre os sujeitos de pesquisa a concepção de que em relação ao universo há muito a ser descoberto, investigado e estudado, uma vez que, se conhece apenas uma porção ínfima do mesmo. Em relação às três evidências empíricas (redshifts, quasares e radiação cósmica de fundo), os sujeitos de pesquisa que versaram sobre as mesmas, apresentaram somente as interpretações que corroboram para a solidificação da teoria do big bang (estrondão) ABSTRACT: The research focused on the teaching of Cosmology is still walking in slow steps, since there are few studies conducted with this focus. From this perspective, considering relevant questions on the origin of the universe, this paper aims to investigate the discourse of six professors and researchers from both institutions of higher education with national and international scope. The consideration and discussion of the cosmological theories and conceptual conflicts inherent in them are necessary in the different educational levels, in order to highlight the provisional nature of scientific knowledge. Therefore, this work will be focused on three complex empirical evidences that do not allow a single interpretation: redshifts, cosmic microwave background radiation (CMB), and Quasars. The data was obtained through interviews shot for later transcription and interpretation. The data analysis was based on theoretical and methodological assumptions of phenomenological research, according to BICUDO (2000) and MARTINS (1994). Upon the end of the analysis, it is concluded that the importance of Cosmology teaching does not present any agreement among teachers and researchers, as well as the methodology to be adopted. Compared with the approach of alternative cosmological models to the standard model, the research subjects are also not in concordance. Moreover, it seems to be unanimity among the research subjects the view that in relation to the universe there is much more to be discovered, investigated and studied, since it is known only a tiny portion of the universe. Desse modo, estabelecem-se como problemas, inquietudes como: "Qual a importância da Astronomia no Ensino?" e "O que é necessário fazer para ampliar a Astronomia na sala de aula?". Tais questionamentos tentam ser correspondidos por meio da detecção da importância e pela compreensão dos Saberes docentes necessários, o que por sua vez, possivelmente permitira ampliar o Ensino de Astronomia em sala de aula. Para responder esses questionamentos, os interlocutores da pesquisa são docentes da disciplina de Ciências (Brasil) / Físico-química (Portugal) e pesquisadores da área de formação de professores do Ensino de Astronomia do Brasil e de Portugal. A metodologia utilizada para coleta e análise de dados rege os princípios fenomenológicos, uma vez que as histórias de vida e formação se constituem como uma abordagem das metodologias hermenêuticas de pesquisa. Os dados foram coletados por meio de discursos, gravados em vídeo. As análises dos dados obtidos foram divididas em categorias para que o fenômeno pudesse ser identificado. O presente estudo pretende apontar a necessidade de uma reflexão sobre a relação entre a formação docente e o Ensino de Astronomia, dialogando com Langhi e Nardi (2012); Tardif (2007); entre outros. Como resultado, percebe-se que a importância da Astronomia para o ensino é estabelecida por cinco aspectos: os conteúdos relacionados ao tema; a curiosidade; o gosto do aluno; o interesse pela Ciência; e as questões culturais. Para ampliar a Astronomia em sala de aula, é necessário dar atenção também para cinco apontamentos: os relatos de experiência; o aperfeiçoamento e a formação docente; os recursos didáticos; a ampliação de tempo; e as atividades experimentais e extracurriculares. Conclui-se que, para conquistar um ensino de qualidade para os estudantes, e preciso dar voz aos professores que enfrentam os desafios de introduzir a Astronomia diariamente nas escolas, contrapondo seus discursos com os pesquisadores dessa área, estreitando a relação entre universidades e escolas, a fim de oportunizar formações continuadas voltadas as necessidades emergentes dos docentes ABSTRACT: The research has as its central point to understand the importance that teachers assign to Astronomy Teaching in Primary Education, as well as understand the teachers necessary knowledge that allow them to face the challenges of school / academic every day. Thus, it is established key questions of concerns and problems like: "What is the importance of Astronomy in school?" And "What is needed to expand the Astronomy in the classroom?" These questions try to be matched by detecting the importance of the necessary knowledge of teacher and also of its understanding which in tum possibly will expand the Astronomy Teaching in the classroom. In order to answer these questions the interlocutors of the research are teachers of the discipline of Sciences (Brazil) / Physical chemistry (Portugal) and researchers at the teacher training area of Astronomy Teaching countries of Brazil and Portugal. The methodology used for data collection and analysis governs phenomenological principles, since the stories of life and formation are constituted as an approach to hermeneutics research methodologies. The data was collected through discourses recorded on video. The analysis of the data was divided into categories so that the phenomenon could be identified. The present study intends to point out the need for a reflection on the relationship between teacher education and the Astronomy Teaching dialogue with Langhi and Nardi (2012); Tardif (2007); among others. As a result it can be seen that the importance of astronomy for teaching is established by five aspects: the content related to the topic; curiosity; the taste of the student; interest in science; and cultural issues. To expand Astronomy role play in the classroom is necessary to pay attention also to five notes: reports of experience; the improvement and teacher training; teaching resources; the extension of time; and experimental and extracurricular activities. It is concluded that to achieve quality education for students is necessary to give voice to teachers facing the challenges of introducing astronomy every day in schools, opposing his discourses with researchers in this field, strengthening the relationship between universities and schools in order to create opportunities for continued education facing the emerging needs of teachers 147 f. : il.

Acompanha: Manual didático para aplicação do monocórdio como objeto lúdico perelmaniano Esta pesquisa aborda a possibilidade de se estabelecer uma prática interdisciplinar entre as disciplinas de Física e Música, no ensino médio, integrado ao técnico, no Instituto Federal do Paraná, Campus Telêmaco Borba. O estudo teve como objetivo estabelecer uma prática interdisciplinar entre as disciplinas de Física e Música que tenha como foco a utilização do monocórdio como Objeto Lúdico Perelmaniano e, ainda, buscou compreender a concepção do conceito de som por parte dos educandos, além de criar um blog para difusão da proposta interdisciplinar, que relaciona o Objeto Lúdico Perelmaniano com a construção ativa de conhecimento por parte dos estudantes. A abordagem metodológica é qualitativa, através da Fenomenologia, com base em Husserl (1997). Cinco estudantes expõem suas concepções do que é o som, e a partir de seus discursos procede-se à redução fenomenológica. Seus discursos são compreendidos em seus horizontes e perspectivas através da reflexão. Após a compreensão das unidades, traçamos um perfil ideográfico, do qual nascem as convergências, as quais, após serem agrupadas, compõem a compreensão nomotética geral dos discursos. Assim, é estruturado o fenômeno do que é o som. A análise fenomenológica descortinou a importância de abordagens significativas, ativas e lúdicas para o ensino, a fim de impulsionar o aprendizado e auxiliar na construção e reconstrução dos conhecimentos que envolvem a relação intrínseca entre Arte e Ciência. This research addresses the possibility of establishing an interdisciplinary practice between disciplines of Physics and Music, in high school integrated to technical, on Federal Institute of Paraná, Telemaco Borba site. The study has aimed to establish an interdisciplinary practice between the disciplines of physics and music, that focuses on the use of monochord as Perelman’s Playful Object. Also, seek to understand design of the sound concept by the students, creating a blog to spread interdisciplinary proposal, which relates the Perelman’s Playful Object with active construction of knowledge by students. The methodological approach is qualitative, by phenomenology, based on Husserl (1997). Five students display their conceptions of what is sound, and from their speeches proceeds to phenomenological reduction. These speeches were understandable in their horizons and perspectives through reflection. After understanding of units, we draw an ideographic profile, from whom born the convergences, which, after being grouped together set up the overall nomothetic understanding of speeches. Therefore, we have structured phenomenon of what is sound. The phenomenological analysis unveiled the importance of meaningful approaches, active and playful for teaching. In order to boost learning, help in the construction and reconstruction of knowledge that involving the intrinsic relationship between Art and Science.

Orientador: Prof. Dr. Marcos Cesar Danhoni Neves Dissertação (mestrado em Educação para a Ciência e a Matemática) - Universidade Estadual de Maringá, 2015 RESUMO: O Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID) vem ganhando cada vez mais importância como política pública nacional, desde a sua implantação pela Capes em 2007, nas instituições de Ensino Superior, com à finalidade de incentivar e valorizar a formação inicial de professores e melhorar o ensino da educação básica. E foi de interesse desta pesquisa investigar as contribuições e os significados desse programa pelo MEC, pela UEM e pelo subprojeto de Ciência. A pesquisa realizada apresenta abordagem qualitativa e as fontes de informações foram os documentos públicos sobre o PIBID (Edital MEC/CAPES/FNDE1), projeto institucional do PIBID da Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM), o subprojeto de Ciência e, ainda, entrevistas com Licenciandos do curso de Licenciatura plena em Ciência. Para a análise das entrevistas utilizamos a análise de conteúdo. Foi possível compreender e refletir sobre a importância desse programa para ressignificar a formação inicial de professores de Ciência. Dentre as constatações alcançadas foi possível identificar que o PIBID é compreendido pelo MEC, UEM e subprojeto de ciências como forma de valorizar a profissão docente, especificamente a formação inicial, através da concessão de bolsas para os alunos de licenciatura desde o início do curso para desenvolverem projetos de iniciação à docência, e desta forma garantir o atendimento à demanda por professores na educação básica pública; como melhoria da formação inicial, através da discussão e desenvolvimento de novas abordagens metodológicas consideradas inovadoras pelas pesquisas na área de ensino de ciências; pela reflexão sobre a função social da escola e sobre o papel do professor em um dado contexto escolar e através do reconhecimento do espaço escolar como campo de experiência para a formação inicial de professores ABSTRACT: The PIBID (Programa de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência, in English "Initial Docency Scholarship Program") has gaining more and more importance, since its implementation in higher education institutions, by Capes in 2007, seeking to encourage and value the teacher's initial shaping and improve the quality of basic education. This research wants to investigate the contributions and the program meanings to MEC (Ministério da educação, in English, "Education Ministry"), to UEM (State University of Maringá), and to science itself. The research presents qualitative approach and the information sources were PIBID documents, such as MEC/CAPES/FNDE Notices, the institutional PIBID plan at UEM, the UEM science subproject, and interviews with science graduates. For the interview analysis we used the content analysis. It was possible to understand and reflect on the program importance to reframe the science teacher's initial shaping. Among the findings reached, it was possible to identify that PIBID is understood, by MEC and UEM as a way to enhance the teaching profession, especially in the initial shaping, through scholarships for undergraduate students since the beginning of its graduation, in order to develop projects related to their decency initiation, and by this way, ensure the delivery of demanded teachers in basic education; as improvements in the initial shaping, through discussions and development of new ideas and methodological approaches, that are considered innovative by the researchers in the science teaching area; by the reflection under the social function of the school about the teacher role in an specific school context and through the recognizing of the school as a field of experiences for the initial teacher's shaping 129 f. : il., (algumas color.), figuras, quadros + apêndice.

Acompanha: Experimentação em óptica nas séries finais do ensino fundamental: uma compreensão fenomenológica Este trabalho teve como objetivo geral analisar sob uma perspectiva fenomenológica, as contribuições que o emprego de atividades experimentais proporcionam para o ensino e aprendizagem em óptica. A opção metodológica foi pela pesquisa de natureza aplicada, qualitativa, exploratória e viés interpretativo. Durante o desenvolvimento, foram reconstruídos pelo autor experimentos que pudessem evidenciar os fenômenos ópticos sobre a natureza da luz, reflexão, refração e difração. O trabalho foi desenvolvido com a participação de 28 (vinte e oito) alunos regularmente matriculados nas séries finais do Ensino Fundamental em uma escola particular no Município de Ponta Grossa-Pr. Na fundamentação teórica contempla-se aspectos históricos do método experimental, inaugurado por Galileu Galilei, estendendo-se às contribuições realizadas por Isaac Newton, no tocante às atividades experimentais para o desenvolvimento da óptica. Apresentam-se também, as diferentes abordagens e enfoque, atualmente aplicados ao trabalho experimental para o ensino de Ciências, realizando uma reconceitualização do método experimental. As externalizações realizadas pelos alunos ocorreram fundamentalmente em dois momentos; antes da experimentação, evidenciando os conceitos prévios, e após a atividade experimental, por meio do discurso e mapas conceituais. Os resultados indicam que a atividade experimental para ensino de óptica, reconceitualizada a luz do construtivismo, aproxima-se de um método plural para o ensino, pois além de proporcionar uma variedade de conflitos cognitivos aos alunos, permite ao experimentador a ligação entre o mundo dos objetos reais, das linguagens simbólicas, leis e teorias com o mundo dos conceitos em óptica, favorecendo a evolução conceitual. This work aimed to analyze under a phenomenological perspective, the contributions that the use of experimental activities provide for teaching and learning in optics. The methodological option was by nature applied research, qualitative, exploratory and interpretive bias. During development, they were reconstructed by the author experiments that could show the optical phenomena of the nature of light, reflection, refraction and diffraction. The study was conducted with the participation of 28 (twenty eight) students enrolled in the final grades of primary education in a private school in the city of Ponta Grossa-Pr. In theoretical foundation includes up historical aspects of the experimental method, inaugurated by Galileo Galilei, extending to the contributions made by Isaac Newton, with respect to experimental activities for the development of optics. It is also present, the different approaches and focus currently applied to the experimental work for the teaching of science, performing a reconceptualization of the experimental method. The externalizations performed by students occurred mainly in two stages; before the trial, showing the previous concepts, and after the experimental activity, through discourse and conceptual maps. The results indicate that the experimental activity to optical teaching, reconceptualized the light of constructivism, approaches a plural method for teaching, as well as providing a variety of cognitive conflict students, allows the experimenter the link between the world of real objects, symbolic languages, laws and theories with the world of concepts in optics, favoring conceptual evolution.

Acompanha: Objetos de aprendizagem: para o ensino de astronomia O presente trabalho propõe uma sequência didática embasada na utilização de objetos de aprendizagem, para trabalhar conceitos astronômicos, sobretudo enfocando a alternância das estações do ano. Tal proposta foi aplicada a uma turma do sexto ano de uma escola do campo em um município paranaense. Foram dez aulas em ambientes como a sala de aula, o pátio da escola e áreas externas ao estabelecimento de ensino, demonstrando, simulando, observando e investigando por meio de modelos didáticos os movimentos da esfera celeste e sua relação com a alternância sazonal. Para coleta de dados foram aplicados um questionário prévio e outro final. A análise destes instrumentos direcionada por meio da análise de discurso confirmou que os educandos possuíam concepções alternativas, tais como: entendiam a alternância das estações do ano devido a aproximação e afastamento da Terra ao Sol; compreendiam um sistema geocêntrico; afirmavam que o Sol “movimentava-se” na esfera celeste em trajetória fixa durante todo o ano, nascendo a leste e pondo-se a oeste. Estas e outras concepções errôneas foram trabalhadas na sequência didática, obtendo ao final do trabalho importantes resultados que validaram a utilização dos recursos didáticos produzidos e utilizados junto aos educandos. Dentre os resultados é destacável discursos que salientaram a órbita terrestre com baixa excentricidade e o Sol nascendo e pondo-se em diferentes posições do horizonte ao longo do ano. No entanto, mesmo com as intervenções deste trabalho alguns alunos mantiveram suas concepções ressaltando a necessidade de novos trabalhos que abordem outras metodologias, ou mesmo, reutilizem os objetos aqui expostos com outros enfoques. This paper proposes a didactic sequence grounded in the use of learning objects, astronomical concepts to work, especially focusing on the alternation of the seasons. The proposal was applied to a class of sixth year of a field school in a city in Paraná. For ten classes in environments such as the classroom, the schoolyard and areas outside the educational establishment, demonstrating, simulating, observing and investigating through didactic models the apparent motions of the celestial sphere and its relationship with alternating climate. For data collection a questionnaire were applied prior and the other end. The analysis of these instruments directed through discourse analysis confirmed that the students had misconceptions, such as: understand the alternation of the seasons because the approach and retraction of the Earth to the Sun; comprised a geocentric system, said the Sun "moved up "on the celestial sphere in fixed path throughout the year, rising east and setting in the west. These and other misconceptions were worked in the instructional sequence, obtaining at the end of the work important results that validated the use of educational resources produced and used together with the students. Among the results is detachable speeches that stressed the orbit with low eccentricity and the sun rising and setting at different positions of the horizon throughout the year. However, even with assistance this work some students kept their conceptions emphasizing the need for further work to address other methodologies, or even reuse the objects shown here with other approaches.

O presente trabalho é uma proposta de aplicação em sala de aula da teoria de ensino de David Ausubel, da aprendizagem significativa, e da teoria psicológica dos campos conceituais de Gerard Vergnaud. A aplicação de algumas das atividades desta proposta foi desenvolvida no ano de 2009, em duas turmas do curso técnico de nível médio no campus Ponta Grossa da Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná - UTFPR. Desenvolveu-se uma pesquisa qualitativa que indicou os principais problemas existentes na formação conceitual dos alunos, relativos aos tópicos de física pesquisados, cujo resultado foi utilizado para a elaboração das atividades propostas. Buscou-se, assim, estabelecer uma conformidade com as citadas teorias para se desenvolver as atividades aplicadas e sugerir outras, na tentativa de resolver os problemas conceituais detectados com a pesquisa, visando a melhoria da qualidade no ensino de Física. Tanto as atividades aplicadas em sala de aula como as sugeridas no trabalho foram pautadas principalmente na utilização de um protótipo de submarino e alguns acessórios, de maneira sequencial, cuja principal meta foi a integração de vários conceitos físicos trabalhados na disciplina ao longo de sua aplicação. Desta maneira, o protótipo foi previsto para ser, tanto uma referência inicial, como uma referência a ser reutilizada nas atividades subsequentes para o ensino de vários conceitos físicos, proporcionando ao aluno uma revisão e ampliação dos mesmos, facilitando para ele a formação ou a readequação dos seus conceitos iniciais e seus modelos mentais de maneira mais apropriada, tornando mais fácil sua interpretação e melhor o entendimento dos assuntos a serem estudados. The present paper is an overture classroom application of David Ausubel’s Learning Theory, the meaningful learning, and the Psychology Theory of Conceptual Fields of Gerard Vergnaud. The application of some of the activities in this paper was developed in 2009, in two distinct classes of the high school technical course program in the Ponta Grossa Technological Federal University of Parana Campus - UTFPR. It was developed a qualitative research which pointed out the main existing problems in the students’ conceptual thinking concerning to the Physics topic researched, whose result was utilized to the elaboration of the presented activities. Thus, finding to determine conformity with the theories mentioned above to expand the applied activities and suggest others, in order to try to solve the conceptual problems observed in the research, surely aiming to improve the quality of Teaching Physics. Therefore, the activities applied in the classroom like the ones suggested in the paper were lined mainly in the utilization of a submarine prototype and some accessories, in a sequential way, whose main goal was the integration of several Physics concepts analyzed in the discipline along with its application. So that, the prototype was foreseen to be, as a initial reference, as a reference to be reused in the following activities to teach various Physics Concepts, providing to the student a review and an enlargement of these concepts, facilitating him the formation or the readequation of their initial concepts and their mental models in a more appropriate manner, making it easier itsinterpretation and a better understanding of the subject which will be studied.

O Ensino de Física para Pessoas com Deficiência Visual (DVs) é investigado. Um panorama da realidade escolar dos DVs é esboçado, particularmente do Ensino de Física e das Tecnologias de Computação (TICs) no contexto educacional dos DVs. São empregados recursos da pesquisa qualitativa tanto na tomada como na análise dos dados: entrevista gravada, redução fenomenológica, e outros. Professores de DVs e estudantes DVs são entrevistados sobre questões inerentes ao estar ensinando ou ao estar aprendendo ciências. A aprendizagem conceitual da fenomenologia física dos DVs e a experimentação no ensino de física para DVs também são analisadas. Finalmente, os resultados alcançados nas diferentes etapas da pesquisa revelam elementos para a articulação de um ensino de física mais adequado às necessidades específicas dos DVs. The Physics Education for visual impairment people (DVs) is investigated. A picture of the DVs school reality is sketched, particularly of the physics education and the computation technologies (TICs) in this context. Resources of the qualitative research are aplied in the taking and analysis of data: interviews, phenomenological reduction, and others. Teachers of DVs and DVs students are interviewed about questions of the being teaching or learning sciences. The conceptual learning of the physical phenomenology in DVs and the experimentation in physics education for DVs also are analyzed. Finally, the results reached in the different stages of the research revels elements for the adjustement of the teaching to the DVs specific necessities.
