In summary, all the observations from the present work reveals that fs-laser irradiation on pollen walls to make an evident physical hole with an outside diameter of about 1 m well conserves the physiological state of the cell including its viability and pollen tube germination capability. Furthermore, from the successful delivery of foreign DNA into pollen through the hole reveals that the current method has an evident potential in the field of plant genetic engineering. Topographical imaging as well as optical imaging of the plasma membranes led us to observe a self-healing process for live cells within several minutes of time after the fs-laser ablation on the live cells. A simple viscoelastic model for both the hole opening and closing process was found to be applicable to interpret its dynamics. The very slow dynamics could be explained in terms of high surface viscosity due to the presence of cytoskeleton network bound to the plasma membrane. The irregular feature in plasma topography observed in the final stage of the healing process might be due to a slice of the assembled lipid, which resulted from the reconstruction of not only the plasma membrane itself but also F-actin network as a cytoskeleton structure of live cells. Although two-dimensional plug flow model adapted in the current work fairly well interpret the experimental observations in macroscopically, the presence of transmembrane proteins, transbilayer interactions, and adhesion sites, etc., in addition to the bound cytoskeleton structure, produces a variety of restrictions on the flow dynamics of the plasma membrane through an alterations in many microscopic physico-chemical properties including thickness and hydrodynamic properties of the fluidic films. Ob beim Brückenbau, in der Automobilindustrie, im Straßenbau, Hausbau oder in der Medizin, die Akustik spielt eine wichtige Rolle. Jährlich treffen sich Akustiker und Akustikinteressierte aus der Lehre, Forschung und Praxis, die ihre Aktivitäten auf dem Gebiet der Akustik präsentieren, sich über die neuesten Entwicklungen informieren oder sich über ihre Arbeit, Gedanken und Erfahrungen austauschen möchten, auf der Jahrestagung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Akustik (DEGA), der DAGA.

Eine Weiterbildung im Fach Bauphysik ist zeitaufwendig und mit den traditionellen Lehr- und Lernmethoden neben dem Beruf nicht zu absolvieren. Genau hier setzt der berufsbegleitende Weiterbildungsstudiengang "Master Online Bauphysik" an.

Often it is a problem to get a good estimate by prediction of the sound transmission loss R of multi-layered structures, like glazing, panels, etc.. A practical solution could be based on the transfer matrix approach for infinite plates for the prediction of the trans-mission coefficient t that is a function of the angle of inci-dence of sound. Since in reality a more or less diffuse sound field exists in rooms, we have random incidence. If an ideal diffuse sound field is assumed the prediction will underesti-mated grossly the sound transmission loss due to low values for grazing incidence. Beranek [1] suggests to limit the an-gles of incidence up to 78° for limp single layer panels. For other types of structures the cut-off angle usually varies between 70° to 85° to get a good estimate of the single num-ber rated value, but for the frequency dependence of stiffness controlled panels this ad-hoc correction does not give a satis-factory agreement at all. To improve the prediction, an ap-proach that considers the finite size of the structure is com-bined with a non-uniform directional distribution of incident power.

We have investigated the effect of the dynamics of crater size on the poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) surface morphology in fs-laser micro-processing. PDMS surface was processed with varying both inter-pulse interval and inter-spot distance between successive laser pulses. With keeping the interval of 5 ms crater shape is round even if the spot is overlapped in space. But decreasing the interval to 0.02 ms the shape of the crater is no longer round. Decreasing the inter-distance between the craters results in roughened surface morphology even at time intervals of 5 ms. Temporal dependence of single-shot fs-laser induced crater size was measured as a function of time delay. Within 0.1 ms after pulse irradiation with a fluence of 4.8 J/cm(2) on PDMS surface the crater size has reached to its maximum values and then decreased with a time constant of about 0.3 ms. The surface morphology after fs-laser pulse irradiation is strongly dependent on not only inter-spot distance between successive laser pulse but also their inter-pulse intervals. Trotz des großen Einsatzgebietes von Lärmschutzwänden ist bislang über ihre Wechselwirkung mit dem Umfeld wenig bekannt. Stadtbauphysikalisch führen sie häufig zur Unterbindung von Durchlüftung nachbarschaftlicher Stadtgebiete und Ab- und Umlenkung der Windströmung. Zur Untersuchung der Wechselwirkung von Windströmung und Lärmschutzwänden wurden Schall- und Windmessungen an mehreren Lärmschutzwänden entlang von Straßen durchgeführt. Die gemessenen Windgeschwindigkeiten und Windrichtungen sowie die beobachteten Windströmungen durch den Flug von Seifenblasen wurden mit den Ergebnissen der strömungsmechanischen Simulation verglichen. Ergänzend wurden die Anwohner der Untersuchungsobjekte befragt. Die Untersuchungsergebnisse ergaben, dass im Nahbereich der Lärmschutzwand kein relevanter Einfluss der Windrichtung, der Windstärke oder der Windströmung auf die Schallausbreitung erkennbar war. Erst mit zunehmendem Abstand nimmt dieser Einfluss zu.

Temporäre Geräuschimmissionen durch Verkehr, Baustellen sowie Sport- und Freizeitveranstaltungen tragen erheblich zur Lärmbelastung der Bevölkerung bei. Im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen Lärmschutzwänden stellen die hier untersuchten aufblasbaren Wände eine praktikable Möglichkeit zur Verminderung temporärer Lärmbelastungen dar. Wie die durchgeführten Untersuchungen zeigen, stehen sie massiven Schirmen trotz ihrer vergleichsweise geringen Schalldämmung in Bezug auf die erreichte Einfügungsdämpfung unter praktischen Einsatzbedingungen nur wenig nach. Durch Anpassung der akustisch maßgeblichen Konstruktionsparameter, wie z.B. Fülldruck sowie Anzahl und Form der Luftkammern, lassen sich die akustischen Eigenschaften gezielt verändern und an unterschiedliche Anforderungen anpassen.
