The current work reports the synthesis of the Earth-abundant Copper Zinc Tin Sulfide (CZTS) absorber thin films at low temperature through modified spray pyrolysis technique without high-temperature annealing. The impact of carrier gas pressure during the synthesis of this potential solar absorbing material in the form of thin film is studied within the range of 0.10 to 0.20 Pa at a substrate temperature of 350˚C to understand the variation in its inherent characteristics. The deposited films were analyzed subsequently using X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, Scanning electron microscopy, Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, Atomic force microscopy, and a UV–Vis spectrophotometer. The influence of the carrier gas pressure on the electrical property of the deposited films is also studied by analyzing its I–V characteristics. Structural and morphological analysis exhibits the formation of highly crystalline CZTS absorber film with good adherence on SLG substrate. The Raman analysis establishes the kesterite structure and the phase purity in the grown CZTS films except 0.15 Pa sample which shows the presence of a trace of Cu2S binary phase. The grain size as well as roughness of the deposited films is observed to increase with the gas pressure up to 0.15 Pa and decreased thereafter. The band gap of the film is found to decrease from 1.42 to 1.30 eV under the testing limits. The I–V characteristics of the deposited film at 0.15 Pa show higher current value than the rest of the samples. Apart from the study of influence of carrier gas pressure, this study also confirms the usage of the modified nebulizer-assisted spray pyrolysis technique as one of the economical fabrication methods for mass production of nontoxic CZTS absorber thin films that can be used in the development of environment-friendly low-cost solar cells. Recently, image processing schemes are widely used to improve disease detection performance in many medicinal fields. Cancer is considered as one of the most deadly disease and early diagnosis of cancer is the complicated task in the field of medicine. In this paper, we present the two pretrained convolutional neural network (CNN) based on ensemble models such as VGG19 and VGG16 for cancer diagnosis that classifies both normal and abnormal images. The dilemma associated with CNN hyperparameter tuning complicates while diagnosing cancer. Hence, we propose multistrategy based artificial electric field (M‐AEF) algorithm for hyper‐parameter tuning in CNN thereby finding the optimal values. The exponentially decaying learning rates are more helpful to train CNN and prevent it from a local minimum. Thus, random minority over‐sampling and random majority under‐sampling address the imbalanced issue present in the dataset. The images are obtained from three different datasets namely the Kaggle dataset, International Collaboration on Cancer Reporting (ICCR) dataset, and cancer programming dataset for cancer detection. The experimental results are executed in MATLAB software and various performance analyses are carried out. Aim: Nano‐biotechnologically synthesizing silver nanoparticles via canthaxanthin pigment extracted from Dietzia maris AURCCBT01 and assessing their cytotoxic therapeutic potential against human keratinocyte cell line (HaCaT) were the key objectives of this study. Methods and Results: The pigment extracted from D. maris AURCCBT01 was identified as canthaxanthin using UV‐VIS spectroscopy, FTIR, NMR (1H NMR and 13C NMR) and MS. Canthaxanthin, treated with silver nitrate solution, produced canthaxanthin‐mediated silver nanoparticles and they were characterized by UV‐VIS spectroscopy, FTIR, XRD, FESEM‐EDX and TEM‐SAED techniques. UV‐VIS spectroscopy pointed out an absorption band at 420 nm, relating to the surface plasmon resonance of silver nanoparticles. FTIR findings suggested that the diverse functional groups of canthaxanthin bio‐molecules played a significant task in capping the silver nanoparticles. XRD analysis exhibited 40·20 nm for the crystal size of nanoparticles. FESEM and TEM exhibited that the biosynthesized silver nanoparticles were spherical in shape with crystalline nature and the particle size was 40–50 nm. Moreover, the cytotoxicity assessment of the synthesized nanoparticles in HaCaT revealed significant cytotoxicity in the cultured cells with an IC50 value of 43 µg ml−1. Conclusion: Stable silver nanoparticles synthesized using canthaxanthin from D. maris AURCCBT01 were found effective for application in wound healing activity. Significance and Impact of the Study: Biosynthesized silver nanoparticles via canthaxanthin bacterial pigment exhibited their cytotoxicity effect in HaCaT and testified their eventual therapeutic potential in the wound healing activity with no side effects in a cost effective and eco‐friendly process. Room temperature multiferroicity was achieved in CuO-doped Sr3Bi4Ti6O21 (SBT6) lead-free bismuth layered structure ferroelectric ceramics. On addition of CuO, a feeble magnetization with highest saturation magnetization of ~ 3 memu/g and least coercivity of 676 Oe was obtained for x = 0.5 mol% sample. The effect of magnetic field on the ferroelectric properties was investigated, which reveals the presence of magnetoelectric (ME) coupling indirectly and the maximum remnant polarization of 12.16 μC/cm2 at 1 kOe was obtained. Moreover, from direct measurements (ME studies), coupling between ferromagnetic and ferroelectric phases was also achieved at room temperature. Further, the presence of feeble ME effect decreases upon increasing CuO doping concentration, especially at higher doping concentration. The induced spontaneous magnetization, oxygen vacancies and strong magnetic superexchange interaction of CuO played a key role in achieving room temperature multiferroicity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The growth of L-alanine cadmium chloride (LACC) crystals was carried out by solution method with slow evaporation technique. Nucleation kinetic studies were performed for the samples to understand the nucleation process. The grown crystals were subjected to structural, mechanical, thermal, electrical and spectral properties. FTIR and ultra violet - visible (UV-Vis) spectral studies have been carried out to find the suitability of the grown crystals for device fabrication. AC conductivity values of the samples were measured using an LCR meter at different frequencies and temperature. Activation energy has been calculated for all the samples. The mechanical parameters like work hardening coefficient, stiffness constant and yield strength of the samples have been determined. Third order nonlinear parameters like nonlinear refractive index, nonlinear absorption and third order susceptibility were determined by Z-scan technique for pure and doped samples of LACC. A simple and efficient method was developed to synthesize 5H-benzo[e]pyrrolo[1,2-a][1,4]diazepin-10(11H)-yl)(4-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-5-yl)phenyl)methanone from Pyrrole-2-carboxaldehyde and 1-(chloromethyl)-2-nitrobenzene as starting materials. A reagent tertbutoxybis(dimethylamino) methane (Bredereck's reagent, TBDMAM) used for selective formation of chalcones. All the compounds obtained were characterized by different spectroscopic techniques such as IR, NMR and mass analysis. Molecular docking study of the synthesized compounds was showed the best fit with the minimum binding energies of -5.78 kcal/mol. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
