Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are the leading cause of death for residents in China. Danhong Injection(DHI) decoction piece is prepared from Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma and Carthami Flos, with the function of promoting the blood circulation, removing the blood stasis, relaxing the sinews and dredging the collaterals. In recent years, about 100 million bottles of DHI have been sold. Consequently, its safety and effectiveness are very important to a large number of patients. Raw materials are the source and foundation for production of traditional Chinese medicine injections. In this article, we reviewed the identification of Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma and Carthami Flos, resource distribution, cultivation, quality control, and detection of xenobiotic pollutants, in order to guide the production of high-quality, stable, and pollution-free raw materials. This will be a benefit in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of DHI and reducing the incidence of adverse reactions from the raw materials. By comparing the similarities and differences between the quality standards of Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, Carthami Flos and DHI, we provided some comments for improving the quality standards and post-marketing reevaluation of DHI, and provided some theoretical supports for the production of high-quality herbal raw materials.

Tenguna medogensis Song & Liang, 2007 (Figs 1E, F) Material examined. NEPAL: 1 ♀, Godawari Kathmandu V., 13,14, 17. ix.1987, H. Takizawa (EIHU). Remarks. This species is a new record for Nepal. Tenguna medogensis was described from Tibet, China (SඈඇǤ & Lං- ൺඇǤ 2007). The single female of T. medogensis from Nepal is identical in external characters to the type specimens.

Orthopagus lunulifer Uhler, 1897 (Fig. 1D) Material examined. NEPAL: 1J, Chitwan National Park, Island Jungle reserve, 29–30.x.1995, L. Peregovits (HNHM). Remarks. The genus Orthopagus was revised by SඈඇǤ et al. (2018b) who also reported the specimen cited here from Nepal. This specimen is identical in external characters to specimens of O. lunulifer from Japan, China, Taiwan and Vietnam. However, it differs in the shape of the lobe on the dorso-posterior margin of the pygofer which is smaller (shorter and simply angular) than in the rest of O. lunulifer males studied. The phallobase of this specimen could not be sufficiently compared as its membranous lobes failed to inflate during the preparation. To achieve practical production of fuel from water, it is essential to develop efficient and durable electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER). We report here that doping NiCoOOH nanosheets with 8% Ir leads to a low overpotential of only 260 mV for 50 mA/cm2, far better than previous OER catalysts. We synthesized this catalyst using a novel photochemical deposition method that leads to a uniform distribution of dopant, large catalytic active area, high interfacial charge transfer efficiency, good adhesion between catalyst and matrix, and long lifetime. Moreover, these nanosheets show significant stable performance for 70 h in alkaline media. Our density functional theory calculations show that Ir and Co both play essential bifunctional roles in stabilizing the key O radical intermediate on Ir and promoting the O–O bond coupling on Co, which are optimum for the 8% Ir.

With the improvement of real-time measurement technology in distribution network, the data collected by power dispatching department is explosively growing. As a result, the real-time detection and analysis of the operation status of distribution network is facing new challenges. In this paper, a prediction model based on the combination of fuzzy c-means (FCM) algorithm and BP neural network is proposed to describe the range of future distribution network operation data. The purpose of this work is to provide a reference range for real-time operation state analysis. Then, considering the problem of massive measurement data in distribution network, a robust state estimation method based on exponential function weighted least squares (EFWLS) is proposed, which has better accuracy and efficiency than traditional weighted least squares (WLS) method. Finally, the accuracy of the prediction model is verified by comparing the predicted data with the real data, and the advantages of the proposed state estimation method are verified by comparing the results of different methods.

Oxygen-defective Fe2O3/CoOx nanorod array composite films are prepared using a facile and environmentally friendly photodeposition method followed by annealing in oxygen deficient atmosphere. Compared with the original Fe2O3/CoOx sample, the optimized oxygen-defective Fe2O3/CoOx composite film electrode annealed at 250 °C has a 120 mV negative shifting of overpotential and lower Tafel slope. Moreover, the optimized oxygen-defective Fe2O3/CoOx composite film electrode exhibits competitive OER stability for 16 h. This can be attributed to numerous active sites on oxygen-defective CoOx and its weak crystallinity that promises excellent activity as well as stability. Furthermore, the amount of oxygen vacancies in CoOx can be finely tuned by changing annealing temperature. Based on XPS spectra and electrochemical analysis results, we show the relationship between the electronic states of Co and its electrocatalytic OER activity. The results may find broad applications in designing highly efficient catalysts for electrochemical process.

Carbon coating is one of the most effective strategies to improve the electrochemical performance of nanostructured transition metal oxides (TMOs). Herein, we report a facile and scalable method to prepare hierarchical Fe3O4@C nanospheres. The fabrication includes one-step solvothermal synthesis of Fe2O3/MIL-100(Fe) precursor and subsequent annealing treatment in Ar. The Fe3O4@C nanospheres with an average size of about 200 nm are composed of many interconnected small nanoparticles, with an amorphous carbon layer on the surface of Fe3O4, exhibiting a unique hierarchical nanostructure with a larger specific surface area of 176.5 m2 g−1. The hierarchical Fe3O4@C nanosphere electrode delivers a high capacity of 757.9 mAh g−1 after 500 cycles at a current density of 500 mA g−1, demonstrating superior high-rate lithium storage performance. This may be ascribed to the unique hierarchical nanoarchitecture, higher specific surface area and the uniform carbon layer in-situ generated from MIL-100(Fe).

Hierarchically nanostructured binary/multiple transition-metal oxides with electrically conductive coatings are very attractive for lithium-ion batteries owing to their excellent electrochemical properties induced by their unique compositions and microstructures. Herein, hierarchical MnO-doped Fe3O4@C composite nanospheres are prepared by a simple one-step annealing in Ar atmosphere, using Mn-doped Fe-based metal–organic frameworks (Mn-doped MIL-53(Fe)) as precursor. The MnO-doped Fe3O4@C composite particles have a uniform nanosphere structure with a diameter of ∼100 nm, and each nanosphere is composed of clustered primary nanoparticles with an amorphous carbon shell, forming a unique hierarchical nanoarchitecture. The as-prepared hierarchical MnO-doped Fe3O4@C composite nanospheres exhibit markedly enhanced lithium-storage performance, with a large capacity of 1297.5 mAh g–1 after 200 cycles at 200 mA g–1. 3D foam-like CoNiO 2 on Cu foil was synthesized by a low-temperature hydrothermal method with subsequent annealing treatment. The structure and composition of the 3D foam-like CoNiO 2 have been analyzed by field-emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). When employed as anode electrode for sodium ion batteries, the as-prepared CoNiO 2 film electrode exhibited a high reversible capacity of 323.7 mAh g −1 after 100 cycles at 0.1 A g −1 . Moreover, the CoNiO 2 film electrode delivered an excellent rate capability of 210.3 mAh g −1 at 1.6 A g −1 . It is believed that the remarkable electrochemical performance of the film electrode is attributed to the 3D foam-like structure and binder-free feature, which effectively improve the ionic and electron conductivity of the electrode.
