172. Rhodium(III)-Catalyzed Switchable ß-C(sp2)–H Alkenylation and Alkylation of Acyclic Enamides with Allyl Alcohols

Abstract

Herein, rhodium(III)-catalyzed ß-C(sp2)–H alkenylation and alkylation of enamides are presented using readily accessible allylic alcohols by switching the reaction conditions. This tunable transformation has been applied to a wide range of substrates and typically proceeded with excellent regioselectivity and stereoselectivity as well as with good functional group tolerance. The catalytic system offers an efficient approach for synthesizing various functionalized enamides bearing N-(2Z,4E)-butadiene and (Z)-ß-C(sp2)–H alkylated enamides. In addition, mechanistic experiments suggest that Rh(III)-catalyzed C–H activation is not related to the critical step.

Abstract

Humidity sensors play a critical role in diverse fields such as agricultural production, medical equipment, and weather forecasting. However, the majority of existing humidity sensors rely on batteries or are relatively costly to construct. In this study, a simple, efficient, and battery-free visual humidity sensor was developed by combining cholesteric liquid crystal (CLC) with acrylic acid (AA) and subsequently curing it to form an interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) film. The IPN film changes colour with relative humidity (RH). Moreover, it has been confirmed that the film exhibits excellent repeatability, and its performance remains relatively unaffected by temperature fluctuations. Additionally, the relationship between film thickness and response time is explored in this research. Through orthogonal experiments involving various proportions of CLC, the study also scrutinises the influence of each component on the humidity response performance of the IPN films. During the transition from 40% RH to 90% RH, IPN film sample 3 experienced a remarkable redshift of 123.05 nm in the reflected wavelength. As for sample 9, its humidity response demonstrated an outstanding linearity of 0.9986. Consequently, the experimental outcomes provide strong evidence that this IPN film exhibits superior humidity response capabilities and holds considerable promise for practical applications. Abstract

Female fecundity declines in a nonlinear manner with age during the reproductive years, even as ovulatory cycles continue, which reduces female fertility, disrupts metabolic homeostasis, and eventually induces various chronic diseases. Despite this, the aging‐related cellular and molecular changes in human ovaries that occur during these reproductive years have not been elucidated. Here, single‐cell RNA sequencing (scRNA‐seq) of human ovaries is performed from different childbearing ages and reveals that the activation of the pyroptosis pathway increased with age, mainly in macrophages. The enrichment of pyroptotic macrophages leads to a switch from a tissue‐resident macrophage (TRM)‐involve immunoregulatory microenvironment in young ovaries to a pyroptotic monocyte‐derived macrophage (MDM)‐involved proinflammatory microenvironment in middle‐aged ovaries. This remolded ovarian immuno‐microenvironment further promotes stromal cell senescence and accelerated reproductive decline. This hypothesis is validated in a series of cell and animal experiments using GSDMD‐KO mice. In conclusion, the work expands the current understanding of the ovarian aging process by illustrating a pyroptotic macrophage‐involved immune mechanism, which has important implications for the development of novel strategies to delay senescence and promote reproductive health. Abstract

The air mediated radical alkylation of cyclic aldimines via autoxidation of alkylboronic acids has been realized under mild reaction conditions. By simply heating cyclic aldimines with alkylboronic acid using air as sole oxidant, this protocol provides a catalyst‐free access to a variety of alkylated cyclic aldimines with 21–91% yields. However, the specific mechanism of action remains unclear.Patients and Methods: PV IgG extracted from patients’ serum was cocultured with HaCaT cells to construct a PV cell model, and different concentrations of Tha were used to screen the drug effect. The expression level of MYD88 was assessed in skin lesions of PV patients. Intracellular Ca2+ concentration, reactive oxygen species level, DSG3, PG, MYD88, apoptosis-related proteins (Caspase-3, Bcl-2, and Bax), NF-κB pathway–related proteins (IκBα, p-IκBα, p50, and p65), NLRP3, IFN-γ, TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-8 levels were measured. PV IgG was subcutaneously injected into C57BL/6 neonatal mice to construct the animal model. Immunofluorescence was used to detect IgG deposition in the mouse epidermis, whereas immunohistochemistry and TUNEL methods were used to detect the expression of MYD88 and NLRP3 as well as cell apoptosis level in the mouse epidermis.Results: Tha reversed the decrease in Dsg3 and PG caused by PV IgG. 199. Contrastive Semi-Supervised Learning for Image Highlight Removal

Abstract

Image highlight removal is a fundamental and challenging visual task. Although fully supervised deep learning-based methods have achieved remarkable results, their performance is limited by the diversity and quantity of paired highlight images. To address this issue, we propose a student-teacher semi-supervised deep learning method based on contrastive learning for highlight removal, which integrates paired and unpaired data for boosting image highlight removal. Specifically, our semi-supervised network consists of the parallel student and teacher sub-networks with the same U-shaped CTransformer. The CTransformer integrates a dual multiscale convolution module and a parallel multiaxial self-attention module to promote local feature representation and global contextual semantic comprehension of the network. The dual multiscale convolution module realizes the representation of multiple perceptual fields by the internal and external multiscales. The parallel multiaxial self-attention module implements multidimensional autocorrelation attention with the selective fusion mechanism. Quantitative and qualitative results show that our method takes SOAT results on different datasets.
