In this globalized world, countries are highly inter-dependent for socio-economic development. It is more important for developing countries like Bangladesh because of the multidimensional nature of development issue that requires support from different corners particularly after being graduated to middle income country. Collaboration and partnerships expedite development process, enhance mutual trust, and build strong relation to explore new areas for assistance. This partnership is necessarily required when countries adopt global agenda.  The agenda 2030 is a holistic approach that philosophizes the well-being and prosperity of humankind. In order to realize the benefits of this agenda and implement all 17 goals and its 169 targets, country needs support from various stakeholders. Apart from the public and private sectors from within, global actors including international organizations, different nations must act together to bring the benefit for all. This paper aims at analyzing the necessity of collaboration and partnership among the states and assessing how partnerships can help implement Sustainable Development Goals. This review article is prepared based on the secondary data collected from the various research articles, government publications, UN reading materials. William Shakespeare has always been unanimously the most accepted model to follow for the writers of tragedy, comedy and other types of dramas. He enjoyed a great fascination in the latter half of the nineteenth century and the first few decades of the twentieth in India and almost all his works were translated to or adapted into different languages. As the Assamese writers did not lag behind in this respect too, they were inspired to translate and adapt Shakespeare in 1887 starting with The Comedy of Errors as Bhramaranga in Assamese. In this article, the researcher aims to examine the available Assamese translations and adaptations of Shakespearean comic plays and studied how far they contributed to the growth and development of Assamese comedy in particular and modern Assamese drama in general. With the help of the comparative method of analysis, the researcher found that Assamese comedy specially farces and the complete pre-independent Assamese dramatic literature have been impacted by the dramas of Shakespeare. Quantum dot‐sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs) are significant energy‐producing devices due to their remarkable capability to growing sunshine and produce many electrons/holes pairs, easy manufacturing, and low cost. However, their power conversion efficiency (4%) is usually worse than that of dye‐sensitized solar cells (≤12%); this is mainly due to their narrow absorption areas and the charge recombination happening at the quantum dot/electrolyte and TiO2 /electrolyte interfaces. Thus, to raise the power conversion efficiency of QDSSC, new counter electrodes, working electrodes, sensitizers, and electrolytes are required. CdSe thin films have shown great potential for use in photodetectors, solar cells, biosensors, light‐emitting diodes, and biomedical imaging systems. This article reviews the CdSe nanomaterials that have been recently used in QDSSCs as sensitizers. Their size, design, morphology, and density all noticeably influence the electron injection efficiency and light‐harvesting capacity of these devices. A detailed overview of the development of QDSSCs is presented, including their basic principles, the synthesis methods for their CdSe quantum dots, and the device fabrication processes. Finally, the challenges and opportunities of realizing high‐performance CdSe QDSSCs are discussed and some future directions are suggested. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The present study reports on the preparation of novel nanofibre membranes from the thermoplastic polymer polyvinylidene fluoride coated with chitosan to enhance membrane properties such as hydrophilicity, mechanical properties, water flux and salt rejection. Initially, a supporting layer was produced from polyvinylidene fluoride using phase inversion methods, followed by being coated with chitosan using either electrospinning or immersion methods. Two types of fabricated membranes with different coating methods were characterized and tested for physical and chemical performance using field-emission scanning electron microscopy, tensile tests, permeation tests (water flux and salt rejection) and contact angle measurements. It was found that the support membrane (polyvinylidene fluoride) produced by the phase inversion method that was coated with chitosan using electrospinning showed better performance, with a salt rejection up to 70% for MgSO4, a decreased the contact angle (52°) and improved the elongation at the breaking point (~82%). The present study intends to explore how process drama can be effectively used and implemented in Indian classrooms. It further highlights the aspects of the conventional classrooms and discusses why Indian students are lacking in productive skills of the English language and how it can be diagnosed through using the theory and practice of process drama as an instructional method. Methods. Data collection method through a questionnaire has been used in the study and SPSS version 20 was implemented to access, analyse, and comprehend the data. The reliability and validity have been checked through a pilot study before conducting the questionnaire and the suggestions of an expert were incorporated. Research Restrictions. The present study is limited to the Indian classrooms, and more specifically, the respondents were chosen from undergraduate classrooms of different faculties with the aid of purposive sampling. Consequently, the results of the study cannot be implemented thoroughly, but the praxis of using process drama can be a potent strategy to teach English in ESL classrooms, according to the level, background, and nature of the learners. Practical Application. The findings of the study clearly indicate that the use of process drama in classroom pedagogy has a positive impact on receptive and productive language skills. Cognitive value. The modern classroom pedagogy needs an approach of teaching which can foster the learning process more easily and emphasise all four language learning skills in an effective way. This paper analyzes whether and to what extent women civil servants are discriminated in terms of recruitment and selection, appointment and placement, transfer, promotion and duty allocation in Administration in Bangladesh. This research applied a qualitative approach and an interview method was used for data collection. The research found that women faced differential treatments because of the nature of jobs and the lack of good working environment. Although there was no legal point for discrimination regarding HR practices, women were found fewer in number in some lucrative and challenging positions. The study revealed that they were not discriminated; they were rather favoured for their desired placements. They evaded some placements for the sake of household activities and childrens' wellbeing. The avoidance inhibited them to gain experiences that indirectly led to exclusion. The study recommends the clear career path, setting preconditions for promotion and arrangements of flexible working so that women can design their career and personal planning. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
