This study presents the Angular Particle Swarm Optimization(APSO) algorism which is an optimization technique, in order to reconfigure micro-grids. Micro-grids are concepts of distribution system that unifies directly with customers and distributed generations(DGs). It could supply the electric power to customers and do the power transaction using a power market by operating the economic dispatch through several DGs of diverse cost function. If there are a large number of micro-grids in one distribution system, it needs to adjust the configuration of many micro-grids in order to supply the electric power with the minimum generation cost to all customers who are under the distribution system. So this study offers the APSO algorism which applies to the optimization technique, the algorism has multidimensional vectors that consist of magnitudes and phase angles. more...
