157. Case Analysis of Reactor Heating Failure

Abstract

Reactors are important equipment in substations, and their safety is related to the safety of the entire substation, which in turn affects the safety of the power grid. In this paper, a case of 10kV reactor thermal failure caused by a 110kV substation was burned down, and the specific process of the accident was explained in detail. Through a series of tests such as high-voltage electrical test and infrared temperature measurement, the cause of the reactor heating was analyzed. Propose relevant and technical measures to prevent the recurrence of such accidents.

Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the antibiotic resistance and its association with disinfectant and heavy metal resistance in 152 Salmonella isolates recovered from retail foods of animal origins. Susceptibility testing demonstrated that 92.8% isolates were resistant to at least one antibiotic, and the resistance was highest to oxytetracycline (80.9%), followed by trimethoprim (64.5%), amoxicillin (28.9%), ampicillin (28.3%), levofloxacin (21.7%), ciprofloxacin (16.4%), and gentamicin (10.5%), respectively. Abstract

Human‐treated dentin matrix (hTDM) is a biomaterial scaffold, which can induce implant cells to differentiate into odontoblasts and then form neo‐dentin. However, hTDM with long storage or prepared by high‐speed handpiece would not to form neo‐dentin. In this research, we developed two fresh hTDM with different grinding speeds, which were low‐speed hTDM (LTDM) with maximum speed of 500 rpm and high‐speed hTDM (HTDM) with a speed of 3,80,000 rpm. Here, we aim to understand whether there were induced regeneration capacity differences between LTDM and HTDM. Scanning electron microscope showed that DFCs grew well on both materials, but the morphology of DFCs and the extracellular matrix was different. Especially, the secreted extracellular matrixes on the inner surface of LTDM were regular morphology and ordered arrangement around the dentin tubules. The transcription‐quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qRT‐PCR), western blot and immunofluorescence assay showed that the dentin markers DSPP and DMP‐1 were about 2× greater in DFCs induced by LTDM than by HTDM, and osteogenic marker BSP was about 2× greater in DFCs induced by HTDM than by LTDM. Histological examinations of the harvested grafts observed the formation of neo‐tissue were different, and there were neo‐dentin formed on the inner surface of LTDM and neo‐cementum formed on the outer surface of HTDM. In summary, it found that the induction abilities of LTDM and HTDM are different, and the dentin matrix is directional. Abstract

Effective fabrication methods of Cu-Ag core-shell nanowires network are of vital importance for their shining applications in stretchable electronics. In this study, molecular dynamics simulations are performed to study nanojoining of Cu-Ag core-shell nanowires by head-to-head cold welding, along with mechanical properties of obtained welding joints. Results show that Cu-Ag core-shell nanowires can be successfully connected by cold welding with high-efficiency and few defects owing to atomic interaction and diffusion of atoms. What's more, welding velocity and remaining deformation in nanowires will exert significant influence on mechanical properties of joints, including strength and plasticity. It is revealed that cold welding under pressure will somewhat cause internal compression of structures which can be alleviated by following tensile deformation of the two heads if possible. These findings deepen the understanding of nanoscale cold welding and are expected to provide practical reference for the bottom-up fabrication and assembly of Cu-Ag core-shell nanowires network.

189. Antibiotic resistance pattern of Pseudomonas aeruginosa wound isolates among Chinese burn patients: A systematic review and meta analysis.

Abstract

Objective: To investigate the resistance profiles to antimicrobial agents of wound-isolated Pseudomonas (P.) aeruginosa among Chinese burn patients. Methods: Electronic databases and manual search were used to identify eligible studies published since 2010. The objectives were pooled resistance rates for eleven common antimicrobial agents, estimated by a random-effects model. Subgroup analyses were conducted by stratifying the studies into three four-year periods based on year of isolation. Results: A total of 35 studies were included. Gentamicin had the highest pooled resistance rate (56%, 95% CI 48%-64%), while meropenem had the lowest pooled resistance rate (29%, 95% CI 20%-40%). There was an increasing trend of resistance to common antimicrobial agents of wound-isolated P. aeruginosa over a span of twelve years (2009-2020). There remained the highest risk of gentamicin resistance over time in China. Subgroup analyses indicated significantly higher resistances to ceftazidime and levofloxacin from 2017 to 2020. Conclusions: Enhanced resistance to common antimicrobial agents in wound-isolated P. aeruginosa presents a challenge in burn wound management in mainland China. Effective stewardship programs should be established based on corresponding resistance profiles, thereby optimizing treatment options for hospitalized burn patients. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

A power system fault diagnosis framework based on multi-agent system (MAS) is proposed to realize the parallelization and intelligence of grid fault diagnosis system. In the form of encapsulating multiple sub-modules of power grid fault diagnosis function, the multi-agent system model of power grid fault diagnosis with perception, reasoning and interaction is formed. Under the co-operation of agents, the fault diagnosis system is designed and the complex fault analysis of power grid is realized. Finally, taking the 3/2 wiring fault analysis as example, the MAS cooperation architecture is analyzed.

Abstract

We introduce a generalized version of the Ablowitz-Ladik model with a power-law nonlinearity, as a discretization of the continuum nonlinear Schr¨odinger equation with the same type of the nonlinearity. The model opens a way to study the interplay of discreteness and nonlinearity features. We identify stationary discretesoliton states for different values of nonlinearity power σ, and address changes of their stability as frequency ω of the standing wave varies for given σ. Along with numerical methods, a variational approximation is used to predict the form of the discrete solitons, their stability changes, and bistability features by means of the Vakhitov-Kolokolov criterion (developed from the first principles). Development of instabilities and the resulting asymptotic dynamics are explored by means of direct simulations.

Abstract

To investigate the effect of the sherardizing temperature on the coating performance, several experiments were made at 380°C, 390°C, 400°C, 410°C and 420°C for 4h. The coating composition, morphology, thickness, mass, and microhardness were analyzed. The results show that the coating is continuous, dense and uniform. The coating is mainly formed by the diffusion of Zn and Fe atoms, and has a two-phase structure. The top layer is a thick FeZn10 phase, and the subjacent layer is a thin Fe11Zn40 phase. With the increase of temperature, the morphology and microhardness of coating change little, but the coating thickness and mass increase gradually.

193. Agarose-based spheroid culture enhanced stemness and promoted odontogenic differentiation potential of human dental follicle cells in vitro.

Abstract

Human dental follicle cells (HDFCs) are an ideal cell source of stem cells for dental tissue repair and regeneration and they have great potential for regenerative medicine applications. However, the conventional monolayer culture usually reduces cell proliferation and differentiation potential due to the continuous passage during in vitro expansion. In this study, primary HDFC spheroids were generated on 1% agarose, and the HDFCs spontaneously formed cell spheroids in the agarose-coated dishes. Compared with monolayer culture, the spheroid-derived HDFCs exhibited increased proliferative ability for later passage HDFCs as analysed by Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8). The transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR), western blot and immunofluorescence assay showed that the expression of stemness marker genes Sox2, Oct4 and Nanog was increased significantly in the HDFC spheroids. Furthermore, we found that the odontogenic differentiation capability of HDFCs was significantly improved by spheroid culture in the agarose-coated dishes. On the other hand, the osteogenic differentiation capability was weakened compared with monolayer culture. Our results suggest that spheroid formation of HDFCs in agarose-coated dishes partially restores the proliferative ability of HDFCs at later passages, enhances their stemness and improves odontogenic differentiation capability in vitro. Abstract

IEC61970 adopts CIM/SVG as the standards of graphic modelling for the power system, but its application is only limited in graphic integration and static topology expression at present. This paper proposed a new topology generation and searching scheme based on CIM which can reflect the actual power network diagram. The method avoids directly searching on the diagram file which is the bottleneck restrictions of this system. The system makes SVG operation program no longer as an independent system, but as the data source of the power network topology. This paper also put forward a new data structure based on this topology method, which makes searching algorithm more real-time and reliable than the traditional method.
