152. Promotion Effect of Iron on Activity and N2Selectivity of Mn/Ce Catalysts in the NH3-SCR Reaction

Abstract

Manganese oxides are known to have good low-temperature SCR performance, whereas improving their medium- and high-temperature catalytic performance and N2selectivity remain a challenge. Herein, manganese-based ternary catalysts Fe–Mn/Ce, using CeO2as the carrier and Fe as the second active component, were constructed to effectively solve this problem. Fe–Mn/Ce catalysts show excellent catalytic performance, with NOxconversions of more than 90% over a wide operating temperature range (164.5–419.4 °C) with high and N2selectivity. Further investigation showed that, for the Fe–Mn/Ce catalyst with rich redox sites and surface acidity, higher amounts of Fe2+and Mn4+are the important factors promoting excellent SCR reactivity. Besides, the Fe modification can generate effective electron transfer to reduce the N2O generation pathway and increase the catalytic reaction sites, thus enhancing the overall catalytic performance.

Abstract

A novel thymine- and guanine-rich oligonucleotide (ODN-7) was engineered explicitly for the detection of Hg(ii) and Pb(ii) by a single intercalated dye 4′,6-diamidinyl-2-phenylindole (DAPI). Upon the introduction of Hg(ii), a rapid formation of T–Hg(ii)–T base pairs takes place, triggering the assembly of a split G-quadruplex structure, resulting in a strong fluorescence signal due to DAPI intercalating into the T–Hg(ii)–T mismatch. The introduction of Pb(ii) initiates an interaction with the split G-quadruplex, causing a significant conformational change in its structure. Consequently, the altered split G-quadruplex structure fails to facilitate the insertion of DAPI into the T–Hg(ii)–T complexes, leading to fluorescence quenching. This strategy offers a straightforward means of detecting Hg(ii) and Pb(ii). Leveraging the split G-quadruplex, the ODN-7 sensor enables the detection limits (3σ) for Hg(ii) and Pb(ii) to reach an impressive low of 0.39 nM and 4.98 nM, respectively. It exhibited a favorable linear range of 0.39–900 nM for Hg(ii) detection (R2= 0.9993) and 4.98 nM–5 μM for Pb(ii) determination (R2= 0.9953), respectively. Furthermore, the proposed sensor had excellent selectivity for detecting Hg(ii) and Pb(ii). It was used in milk samples containing mixed Hg(ii) and Pb(ii) solutions, yielding recovery rates of 99.3–103.8% for Hg(ii) detection and 100.1–104.1% for Pb(ii) detection.

Abstract

This article mainly analyzes the internal relationship between the stickiness of corporate executive compensation and corporate innovation investment, and studies the influence of the degree of equity checks and balances on the relationship between shareholders on the design of executive compensation and the investment of innovation. This paper selects all A-shares listed companies in China from 2015 to 2017 as the research object, and conducts a large sample regression on them. It is found that there is indeed a positive correlation between the stickiness of executive compensation and corporate innovation input. And use the degree of equity checks and balances as a moderating variable. Returning, it is found that equity checks and balances can negatively regulate the positive correlation between the stickiness of executive compensation and corporate innovation investment. This study shows that executive compensation stickiness is a compensation mechanism that tolerates managerial failure, and it is beneficial for enterprises to make innovation investment by properly allowing managerial investment failure, and the reasonable equity balance can also form an effective supervision mechanism to the management innovation investment behavior.

Abstract

Aims: To explore whether the clinical learning environment (CLE) has an indirect effect on professional identity through the mediation of career self‐efficacy (CSE) in nursing students. Background: The shortage of nurses has become a universal problem worldwide. Improving nurses' professional identity is considered an effective way to reduce the turnover rate of nurses. However, little is known about the relationship between the CLE, CSE and professional identity. Design: An observational, questionnaire‐based, cross‐sectional study. Methods: A web‐based survey was completed by 212 undergraduate nursing students from June to August 2018. Measures included Chinese translations of the CLE, the Career Self‐Efficacy Scale, and the Professional Identity Scale. Results: Both the CLE (r = 0.552, p < 0.01) and CSE (r = 0.868, p < 0.01) correlated positively with professional identity. The indirect effect of the CLE on professional identity through CSE was positive (β = 0.342, p < 0.05) and the effect was 77.2%. Conclusions: A better CLE and higher scores in CSE were associated with professional identity in nursing students, and a better CLE had an indirect effect on the professional identity of students through CSE. Abstract

Residual stress in selective laser melting (SLM) is one of the key challenges in terms of precision control, success rate and the performance of deposited components. Ti6Al4V belongs to α+β titanium alloy, the residual stress of selective laser melted (SLMed) Ti6Al4V component maybe affected by solid-state phase transformation result from complex thermal history of SLM. In the present study, effect of solid-state phase transformation on residual stress of SLM Ti6Al4V was investigated. A coupled modeling method of thermo-metallurgical-mechanical considering solid-state phase transition is provided and validated by microstructure observation and residual stress measurements. Then the solid-state phase transformation strain was neglected in the validated model, the computed residual stress is used to investigate the effect of solid-state phase transformation strain on residual stress by comparing with experimental measurements. In addition, the influence of the difference in yield strength and thermal expansion coefficient between the original phase and the transition phase on the residual stress is discussed. It has been found that the residual stress of SLMed Ti6Al4V is related to the direction, the longitudinal residual stress is about twice transverse, and they are all tensile stresses. The microstructure and residual stress predicted by the simulation are in good agreement with the experimental measurements. The microstructure of SLM Ti6Al4V is mainly composed of martensite α', and the average error between the predicted longitudinal stress and measurement is 2.1%. The solid-state phase transformation has a stress relaxation effect during the SLM Ti6Al4V, predicted longitudinal and transverse residual stress exceeds the experimental measurement by up to 80.7% and 53.9%, when neglecting the solid-state phase transformation strain. The influence of the solid-state phase transformation of SLM Ti6Al4V on the residual stress is mainly determined by the volume change between the solid-state phases.

Oxyanions-nitrate, bromate, and perchlorate in water bodies can do harms of different levels to human health. Photocatalytic reduction is one of the most promising and effective means to convert them into harmless ions. In this article, we discuss the photocatalytic mechanisms of TiO2 catalyst in nitrogen removal process. The factors determining the catalytic activity and the selectivity of nitrogen are elaborated. An overview of the pathway of photocatalysis toward bromate and perchlorate reduction is presented, and the reduction performance of different photocatalysts is evaluated. Abstract

Residual stresses evidently affect the strength, fatigue property and machining deformation of the mechanical components. Therefore, stress relief processes are extensively applied in the manufacturing to enhance the mechanical properties of products. In this study, seven 7075 aluminium alloy specimens are treated by thermal- vibratory stress relief (TVSR), thermal stress relief (TSR), and vibratory stress relief (VSR). Finite element (FE) models considering the stress relaxation effects and transient periodic vibration loads are proposed to simulate the TVSR, TSR and VSR process. The residual stresses before and after the processes are measured and compared, and the effectiveness of the FE models is validated. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) are used to observe the microstructure and crystal dislocation, respectively. Results show that TVSR can evidently reduce the residual stress in aluminium alloy, and the stress relief rate of TVSR for the peak stress are 20.43% and 38.56% higher than that of TSR and VSR, respectively. It also found that TVSR has no obvious influence on the grain size, but evidently increase the dislocation density. Eventually, the stress relief mechanism of TVSR is analyzed and summarized.

193. Development of quantitative parameter–property relationship and technology parameter choosing software of Fe(Si)–SiO2soft ferromagnetic composites

Abstract

Intelligent technology parameter choosing software is the future development trend of realizing precisely control and efficient production. However, the technology parameter choosing software has not been reported probably due to the lack of in-depth understanding of quantitative relationship between technology parameter and magnetic properties for soft ferromagnetic composites. This paper describes a novel strategy to construct quantitative relationship model and develop technology parameter choosing software. Using gas precursor concentration parameter during fluidized bed chemical vapor deposition as an example, the microstructure and performances of Fe(Si)–SiO2soft ferromagnetic composites obtained were systematically studied. The quantitative relationships between gas precursor concentration and magnetic performances were built based on the gas precursor concentration dependence of SiO2insulating layer thickness and other classical theoretical models. The findings suggest that the saturation magnetization increase with the gas precursor concentration; however, the impacts of the gas precursor concentration on electrical resistivity and eddy current loss are relatively complex. Informed by these quantitative relationship models, the supporting software has been designed, which can configure the technology parameter automaticity according to the target performance of soft ferromagnetic composites. The results may deepen the understanding on the quantitative relationship and provide ideas for developing efficient production control software.

195. High-efficiency co-liquefaction of low-rank coal and PAEs-rich PVC waste in supercritical water: Products upgrading and dechlorination.

Abstract

With the extensive use of phthalates (PAEs)-rich polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic products, the recycling of PAEs-rich PVC waste has become a great challenge. Meanwhile, the efficient utilization of low-rank coal is important in China due to the abundant reserves. In this study, a high-efficiency co-liquefaction treatment of PAEs-rich PVC waste and low-rank coal (Inner Mongolia lignite) was developed by using supercritical water (SCW) process based on the interaction between the two kinds of waste. The effects of temperature, time, solid-to-liquid ratio (M Coal+PVC :M H2O), and mass ratio of coal-to-PVC (M Coal :M PVC) on the co-liquefaction conversion, composition of liquefied oil and dechlorination of PVC waste were investigated. The co-liquefaction of low-rank coal and PAEs-rich PVC waste had a significant positive synergistic effect with a maximum synergistic efficiency of 7.53% in the temperature range of 350–450 °C. The conversion ratio of low-rank coal and PAEs-rich PVC waste by SCW co-liquefaction increased from 59.71% to 74.92% with the increase of reaction temperature from 350 to 450 °C. PAEs-rich PVC waste could be almost completely dechlorinated (>98%) by the SCW co-liquefaction process, and more than 90% of the DEHP could be decomposed. The addition of PAEs-rich PVC waste resulted in a significant decrease of the percentage of heteroatom-containing compounds in the oil products by the co-liquefaction. At 450 °C, the co-liquefaction oil contained 69.16% of hydrocarbons and 6.14% of phenolic compounds. Different from supercritical water gasification, the purpose of SCW co-liquefaction in this study is to improve the coal liquefaction conversion ratio and oil quality by introducing the PAEs-rich PVC waste. The synergistic SCW treatment of PAEs-rich PVC waste and low-rank coal has good application prospects in products upgrading of low-rank coal and safe recycling of PAEs-rich PVC waste plastics.
