The objective of this research was to create a reliable and valid measurement tool for measuring self-determined learning skills among university students. The research was conducted with the participation of 574 university students. In line with expert opinions and suggestions, 30-item trial form of the scale was developed. The collected data were subjected to Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and a structure that explained 42.17% of the total variance was obtained. It has been determined that the Self-Determined Learning Skills Scale (SDLSS) consists of 22 items and four dimensions. In addition, as a result of Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), it was seen that the fit indices of the scale were between excellent and acceptable values, and the four-factor structure of the scale consisting of 22 items was confirmed. The Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient of the scale is .86, and the reliability coefficient calculated by the split-half method is .80. To determine the distinctiveness of the items in the scale, the corrected item-total correlation was calculated, and 27% lower-upper group comparisons were made. Findings from item analysis showed that all the scale items were distinctive. As a result, it can be said that the "SDLSS" developed is a valid measurement tool and will provide reliable scores in determining self-determined learning skills. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: To translate the "Functional Evaluation of Physical Performance for the Geriatric Population (Alusti test)" into Turkish to examine validity and reliability. Materials and Methods: During the translation period, the cross-cultural adaptation design proposed using the guideline was used. The patients evaluated the Turkish version of the Alusti test and it was applied again a week later. To determine the reliability and internal consistency, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated. Test-retest reliability was determined using intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and Pearson's correlation analysis. Construct validity was examined with factor analysis. Convergent validity was examined by comparing Alusti test with Short Physical Performance Battery (SPPB) and Barthel index (BI), and criterion validity was examined by comparing Alusti test with Tinetti balance and gait assessment, timed up and go test (TUGT), 6-meter walking speed test, and Rivermead mobility index (RMI) scores. Results: Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.701. The ICC for the test-retest reliability was 0.948. The Alusti test was explained by four factors. SPPB (r=0.586, p=0.000), BI (r=0.321, p=0.005) and Tinetti gait test (r=0.512, p=0.000) were moderately positively correlated with the Alusti test total score. The Tinetti balance test (r=0.662, p=0.000), Tinetti balance and gait assessment total score (r=0.655, p=0.000) and RMI (r=0.715, p=0.000) were highly positive correlated. Bu çalışmanın amacı, 6. Sınıf düzeyinde edat ve bağlaç konusuyla ilgili dil bilgisi başarı testi geliştirmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda ilk olarak Bloom’un yenilenen taksonomisi dikkate alınarak konuya ait kazanımlar belirlenmiş ve bu kazanımları karşılayan 167 adet, edat ve bağlaç konusuyla ilgili soru hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan sorular için uzman görüşü alınarak görüşler doğrultusunda 54 adet soru seçilmiştir. Testin kapsam geçerliliğini belirleyebilmek için belirtke tablosu oluşturulmuştur. Maddeler analiz edilmeden önce 6.sınıf düzeyinde 25 öğrenciye test uygulanarak onların maddeler üzerindeki yorumları alınmıştır. Ön pilottan sonra son şekli verilen taslak test, 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında 200 öğrenciye uygulanarak testin geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları yapılmıştır. 54 maddelik taslak testin güvenirlik analizi 0,661 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Total Varyans Tablosu incelediğinde veri setini daha iyi şekilde temsil edebilecek 22 sorunun mevcut olduğu saptanmış ve bu sorular nihai teste alınmıştır. Nihai testin Cronbach’s Alpha Katsayısı 0,710 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Cronbach Alfa katsayısının (α) 0.60-0,90 arasında olması testten alınan puanların oldukça güvenilir olduğunu gösterir.

Amaç: Bu çalışma, Annelik Hüznü Ölçeği’nin Türkçe geçerlik ve güvenirliğini test etmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırma, tanımlayıcı, kesitsel ve metodolojik bir tasarımla 320 anne üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu, Annelik Hüznü Ölçeği ve paralel form olarak Postpartum Uyku Kalitesi Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde; faktör analizi, Cronbach’s alfa ve madde toplam puan korelasyonları kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Bulgular: Ölçek Türkçe geçerlilik güvenilirlik analizine göre 28 madde, beş alt boyuttan oluşmuş ve %55’lik bir varyans kaydetmiştir. Ölçeğin Türkçe versiyonunun Cronbach’s alfa katsayısı 0,85’dir. İki yarım test güvenirliği analizine göre birinci ve ikinci yarının Cronbach alfa katsayıları 0,70 ve 0,76, Guttman iki yarı katsayısı 0,88 ve yarılar arasındaki korelasyon katsayısı 0,81 olarak bulunmuştur. Hotelling T2 testi sonucuna göre ise ölçekte tepki yanlılığının olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç: Annelik Hüznü Ölçeği’nin Türkçe versiyonunun postpartum süreçte annelik hüznünü ölçmek için kullanımında geçerli ve güvenilir bir araç olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Stereotip, bireyin, bir grup insanın özellikleri hakkında sahip olduğu olumlu veya olumsuz inançlar kümesi olarak tanımlanabilir. Bu araştırmayla Saemann ve Crooker (1999) tarafından Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'ndeki üniversite öğrencileri arasında muhasebe mesleğinin algılarını ölçmek için geliştirilen ölçeğin geçerlilik ve güvenilirlik çalışmaları yapılarak Türk kültürüne uyarlanması ve öğrencilerin algılarıyla muhasebeci stereotiplerinin ortaya çıkarılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, ölçek uyarlama amacıyla ilgili akademisyenlerden görüş alınmıştır. Bu amaçla hazırlan uzman değerlendirme formunda, ölçekte bulunan her bir soru için, “madde hedeflenen yapıyı ölçmektedir”, “madde yapı ile ilişkili ancak yetersizdir/gereksizdir” ya da “madde hedeflenen yapıyı ölçmemektedir” şeklinde üçlü bir ölçek oluşturulmuştur. Açımlayıcı Faktör Analizi (AFA) yapılmış ve KMO .82 ve Barlett testi χ2 değeri ise (395, N = 441) = 706.066, p < .05, (χ²/df = 1.79, GFI = .90, NFI = 91, TLI = .96, CFI = .96 ve RMSEA = .04 olarak anlamlı düzeyde olduğu bulunmuştur. Ayrıca toplam varyansın % 61.10’unu açıklayan, orijinal ölçekteki gibi, dört faktörlü bir yapı elde edilmiştir. Orijinal ölçekten farklı olarak faktör maddeleri farklı dağılmışlardır. Ancak dilsel, kültürel ve toplumsal değişkenliklerden dolayı, kaynak ve hedef formda böyle bir farklılığın oluşması beklenen bir durumdur. Bu nedenle faktör adları dağılan maddelere göre yeniden adlandırılmıştır. Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi (DFA) uyum indekslerine bakıldığında GFI = .90, NFI = 91, TLI = .96, CFI = .96 ve RMSEA = .04 olarak bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak Muhasebeci Stereotipileri Ölçeğinin Türkiye’de uyarlanmaya çalışıldığı grupta, orijinal kültürdeki yapısına uygun şekilde çalıştığı söylenebilir.

Bekçilerin görev yaptıkları çarşı veya mahallelerde topluma sundukları hizmetin, görevlerini yerine getirirken gerçekleştirdikleri sözlü veya sözsüz iletişim faaliyetlerinin ve davranışlarının toplum tarafından nasıl algılandığı bekçi imajını belirlemektedir. Bu araştırmada toplumun bekçi imajını ölçmeye yönelik ölçme aracının geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Veriler, açımlayıcı (AFA) ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) uygulamak üzere toplam 664 katılımcıdan oluşan iki araştırma grubundan elde edilmiştir. AFA ölçme aracının, toplam varyansın %65.37’sini açıklayan ve 35 maddeden oluşan beş faktörlü bir yapıdan oluştuğunu göstermiştir. Bu beş faktör “Tatmin”, “Tutum”, “İletişim”, “Mesleki Yeterlilik” ve “Saygınlık” olarak adlandırılmıştır. DFA sonucunda 34 madde ve beş faktörden oluşan yapıya ait uyum indekslerinin yeterli olduğu görülmüştür. Güvenirlik analizi kapsamında hesaplanan Cronbach alfa iç tutarlık katsayısı AFA uygulanan grup için .97, DFA uygulanan grup için .96 olarak bulunmuştur. Madde analizi sonuçları, ölçekte yer alan maddelerin ayırt edicilik düzeylerinin ve toplam puanı yordama gücünün yeterli düzeyde olduğunu göstermiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda Bekçi İmajı Ölçeği’nin geçerliği ve güvenirliği kanıtlanmış bir ölçme aracı olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

ÖZ: Bu çalışmanın amacı, Felaket Haberlerini Kaydırma Ölçeğinin Türkçe formunun psikometrik özelliklerinin incelenmesidir. Çalışma, Google formlar aracılığı ile ulaşılan, 88'i (%29,5) erkek, 210'u (%70,5) kadın olmak üzere 298 yetişkinden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmada ölçüt geçerliği için Öz-Kontrol Ölçeğinden faydalanılmış ve iki ölçek arasında orta düzeyde anlamlı bir korelasyon tespit edilmiştir. Kapsam geçerliği adımında uzman görüşü alınmıştır. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliği için gerçekleştirilen doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda 15 maddelik tek faktörlü yapının iyi uyum gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Ölçekteki maddelerin faktör yükleri en düşük .49, en yüksek .85 olup, ölçeğin madde toplam korelasyonları en düşük .51, en yüksek .77 olarak bulunmuştur. Alt ve üst %27’lik iki grup arasındaki farklılık istatistiksel olarak anlamlıdır. Ölçeğin güvenirlik analizinde Cronbach Alfa kat sayısı .92 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Güvenirlik analizine ek katkı olarak gerçekleştirilen çift yarılar yönteminde, eşdeğer yarılar arasındaki korelasyon kat sayısı .82 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Sonuç olarak bu ölçeğin, yetişkinlerde felaket haberlerini kaydırma düzeylerini tespit etmek için yetkin bir ölçme aracı olduğu anlaşılmıştır. ABSTRACT: The aim of this study is to examine the psychometric properties of the Turkish version of the Doomscrolling Scale. The study consists of 298 adults, 88 (29.5%) male and 210 (70.5%) female, reached via Google forms. The Self-Control Scale was used for criterion validity, in the present study and a moderately significant correlation was found between the two scales. Expert opinion was taken for content validity. As a result of the confirmatory factor analysis performed for the construct validity of the scale, it was determined that the 15-item single-factor structure showed good fit. The factor loadings of the items in the scale were the lowest .49 and the highest .85, and the lowest item-total correlations of the scale were .51 and the highest .77. The difference between the lower and upper 27% groups was statistically significant. For the reliability analysis, the Cronbach Alpha coefficient was .92. In the split-half method, which was performed as an additional contribution to the reliability analysis, the correlation between the equivalent halves was calculated as .82. Finally, it has been well understood that this scale is a competent measurement tool to identify the levels of doomscrolling in adults.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, çok boyutlu test yapılarının güvenirliğinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla iki boyutlu bir test için örneklem büyüklüğü (100,200 ve 400), boyutlar arası korelasyon (0,00 ve 0,50), maddeler arası korelasyon (0,30-0,50 ve ≥0,65) , test uzunluğu (10 ve 20) ve boyutlara düşen madde sayısı (5-5, 7-3, 10-10 ve 15-1) koşulları altında üretilen verilerden Cronbach Alfa, Tabakalı Alfa ve Omega katsayılarının kestirim değerleri incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Tabakalı Alfa ve Omega değerlerinin genel Alfa değerinden yüksek fakat birbirine benzer sonuçlar verdiği bulunmuştur. Ayrıca üç güvenirlik katsayısının kestirimleri üzerinde maddeler arası korelasyon koşulunun boyutlar arası korelasyona göre daha etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı yedinci sınıf “Maddenin Yapısı ve Özellikleri” konusunda geçerli ve güvenilir bir başarı testi geliştirmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda konu ile ilgili kazanımlara uygun, alanyazına dayalı 23 çoktan seçmeli sorudan oluşan başarı testi hazırlanmıştır. Bu sorular, ortaöğretim sınavlarındaki çıkmış sorularından ve geçerli, güvenilir başarı testi çalışmalarından yola çıkarak hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan sorulardan elde edilen taslak başarı testi 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim bahar yarıyılında Kayseri ili Melikgazi ilçesinde yedinci sınıfa devam etmekte olan 268 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Mevcut çalışma, nicel araştırma yönteminin tarama desenine dayalı yürütülmüştür. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 25 ve “factor 11.04.02” programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Klasik test teorisi rehber alınarak oluşturulan başarı testinin kapsam geçerliğinde Bloom’un bilişsel alan taksonomisi basamakları dikkate alınmış, sorular alanında uzman kişilerin kontrolüne sunulmuştur. Testin normal dağılım varsayımlarına bakılıp, yapı geçerliği için, açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizleri yürütülmüştür. Yapılan analizler sonucunda testten elde edilen puanların KR-20 güvenirlik katsayısı 0,86 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Sonuç olarak “Maddenin Yapısı ve Özellikleri” konusunda geçerli ve güvenilir bir başarı testi elde edilmiştir.

Wellbeing at work is defined as promoting and promoting health at work, preventing or minimizing health threats, maintaining and improving work skills. The aim of this study is to adapt the Turkish version of the A Short Questionnaire To Measure Wellbeing At Work (Short-SWELL) prepared by Smith & Smith (2017a) into Turkish to measure the well-being at work, and to carry out validity and reliability studies. The research data were collected from 452 healthcare professionals in a state hospital. The adapted scale was firstly analysed for language validity, then content validity, construct validity and reliability. According to the results of the Exploratory Factor Analysis, a two-factor structure explaining 67.11% of the total variance of the scale was obtained. Confirmatory Factor Analysis fit indices were as follows CMIN/df=3.885, RMSEA=0.08, NFI=0.953, CFI=0.964, AGFI=0.910, GFI=0.951, and the two-factor structure was confirmed. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, calculated to determine the reliability of the scale, was found to be 0.798. Within the scope of the research, it was concluded that the Short Version of the Well-being at Work Scale is a measurement tool that can be used to assess the level of well-being at work among healthcare workers in Turkish culture. In this study, the Multidimensional Students' Life Satisfaction Scale developed by Huebner (1994) and used in research on life satisfaction of individuals aged 8-18, was adapted to Turkish culture. The sample group consists of 931 children determined by using appropriate sampling method from 5-6- year-old children attending preschool education in Aydın. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, it was concluded that the scale consisted of a single factor and nine items that explained 45.47% of the total variance. According to confirmatory factor analysis, it was seen that the structure of the scale was confirmed. The Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient of the scale is 0.847. Accordingly, it was concluded that the scores obtained from the measurement tool called Life Satisfaction Scale (Child Form) are valid and reliable. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: The feeling of disgust for food plays an important role in many situations, especially in food choice and consumption. Since the feeling of disgust is effective in many events that affect individuals' daily-life, it is important to understand the role of this emotion in food-related behaviours. Recently, a 32-item instrument to Food Disgust Scale (FDS) developed and validated. This study aims to validate the FDS for the first time in Turkish population. Methods: This cross-sectional study included 240 healthy Turkish individuals between the ages of 19-65. The research was carried out on the internet between July 2020-February 2021 with the survey method. The scale was evaluated with a six-point Likert scale as in the original. Statistical analyses were made with the R-Project program and lavaan packages. A Turkish version of the FDS (FDS-TR) was tested with confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) in order to test the original item. Results: In this study, the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of the scale was determined as 0.914. The Cronbach's Alpha reliability coefficients for FDS-TR subscales varied between 0.717-0.902. The fit indices provided by confirmatory factor analysis results were also within the acceptable range. Conclusions: This study results indicate that FDS-TR is highly reliable in healthy individuals and can be used safely in future studies. Economic issues concerning the individual and society are not independent of religion and values. Islam has envisaged an economic system that aims for a just and honourable life. In this context, economic issues are among the major issues addressed by the Qur'an. One of the narrative styles used by the Qur'an to convey its messages and to realise its goal of guidance is parables. Among these parables, the parable of Joseph draws attention with its rich content and diversity of subjects. One of the issues addressed by the parable is economic issues. This study aims to discuss and evaluate the principles of economic management in the parable of Joseph. The parable collectively deals with what should be done within the framework of the conditions of that day in terms of economy and the characteristics that should be found in the managers who will put them into practice. The basis of Joseph's programme is based on the concepts of precaution and prudence to make difficult times comfortable. The most important principle that stands out in the parable is that the managers who will assume responsibility in economic management should be reliable and competent people. Yûsuf points to these qualities by saying that he is 'hafîz' and 'alîm'. It can be said that these two qualities are also the expansion of the criterion of competence that the Qur'an stipulates in the delivery of trusts. Managerial literacy is defined as "the level of knowledge of individuals about basic techniques, methods and tools related to management such as planning, organizing, leadership and decision making". The aim of this research is to develop a valid and reliable Managerial Literacy Scale to measure the administrative literacy level of individuals. For this purpose, data were obtained from 358 university students selected as a sample. As a result of the explanatory and confirmatory factor analyzes carried out to test the construct validity of the scale, a scale structure consisting of 23 items and 5 factors was confirmed and construct validity was ensured. The Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of the scale was measured as 0.708, and it was concluded that the scale was reliable. In addition, the correlation coefficients between the scale and sub-dimensions were calculated and it was seen that there was a positive and significant relationship between the scale and all sub-dimensions. The results of the research show that the Managerial Literacy Scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool that can be used to measure the managerial literacy levels of individuals.
