Financial literacy is crucial to financial inclusion and facilitates access to and use of formal financial services and products. This study aims to investigate the role of financial literacy in improving financial inclusion among Pakistan's women (a country characterized by a high gender gap and lower financial inclusion). A positivist philosophy was adopted and a survey design using a self-administered structured questionnaire was used to collect data from a sample of working women and university graduates. Initially, a pilot test was conducted on a sample of 80 respondents to confirm the reliability and validity of the questionnaire used. Final sample of 478 respondents was analyzed using inferential descriptive statistics and covariance-based structural equation modeling (CBSEM). The findings demonstrate that different aspects of financial literacy, i.e., savings management practice, debt management practice, investment management practice, and financial planning management practice, have a significant positive impact on financial inclusion among women. The findings are supported by theories of behavioral finance (i.e., self-efficacy and goal setting theory) and institutional theory. The study contributes to the existing literature on the relationship between financial literacy and financial inclusion and has implications for policymakers and practitioners in the financial sector in Pakistan. With the rapid development of the global economy, trade between nations is becoming more and more closer in the context of economic globalization. People's pursuit of a happy life has also reached a new level, with financial freedom being a goal that an increasing number of people are pursuing on their path to happiness. The objective of this research is to examine in detail the ideas of financial freedom presented in the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and to investigate how these ideas may be more effectively applied to individual financial planning in order to attain financial independence, taking into account the current socioeconomic climate. This study employs a range of research methodologies, such as the literature research method, case study method, and qualitative analysis method. It begins by introducing the idea and significance of financial freedom, then analyzes the book's central financial concepts, and finally offers recommendations and strategies for achieving financial freedom in the context of the contemporary socioeconomic environment. The paper concludes by summarizing the findings and anticipating the direction of additional research on financial independence. Changing one's financial concepts, investing in financial education, and generating passive income are the keys to achieving financial freedom, according to this study, which was conducted after extensive research and analysis of the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad. In 2021, the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board expanded its Principal Knowledge Topics to include the domain Psychology of Financial Planning. This inclusion serves as an impetus for CFP Board Registered Programs to provide opportunities for students to explore their own attitudes and biases about money. However, little is written on how programs can aid students in this process of self-exploration. This paper introduces an experiential exercise to aid financial planning students in self-exploration. Using a thematic analysis, several themes emerged: (1) diversity in parental financial socialization, (2) anxiety about personal finances, and (3) use of technical knowledge to help loved ones. Additionally, women reported more traumatic money experiences, and men reported higher levels of career confidence. Implications can provide insights on how educational programs can aid financial planning students' understanding of their own money beliefs to better serve future clients in the client psychology competency areas. Recent developments in cognitive psychology and behavioral economics may explain the lower-than-predicted asset decumulation behavior posited by traditional life-cycle models during retirement, dubbed the retirement consumption puzzle. This study examines if mental accounting could be used to explain the retirement consumption puzzle. Utilizing panel data collected from the 1992–2018 Health and Retirement Studies, retiree age and age squared are examined using fractional polynomials and fixed effects regressions for their associations with varying categorical retiree asset decumulation patterns, including retiree wealth, nonhousing wealth, stocks, retirement accounts, bonds, liquid assets, vehicles, primary residence, and home equity. The results suggest that varying asset decumulation behaviors exist among retirees, which could be explained by retirees' discretionary spending propensities. SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) serve as the backbone of the Indonesian economy, in a country with the world's largest Muslim population. Therefore, further analysis is needed regarding the factors influencing the performance of SMEs in an effort to maximize the country's revenue. This research aims to examine the relationship between religiosity, financial literacy, and Islamic financial planning on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). This study employs a quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with primary data collected through an online purposive sampling technique from 113 MSMEs in Jabodetabek. The performance of MSMEs is significantly influenced by religiosity, Sharia financial literacy, and Islamic financial planning. Purpose: Industrial R&D Project Portfolio Selection Method using a Multi-Objective Optimization Program -- a Conceptual Quantitative Framework. Design/methodology/approach: Research and development (R&D) activities are crucial if companies are to adapt to technology changes, but budget constraints and limited resources often force companies to select a subset of candidate projects through portfolio selection methods. However, existing models for R&D portfolio selection do not adequately consider interdependencies and types of projects, and this can lead to suboptimal selection and misalignment with corporate objectives. Findings: A Multi-Objective Optimisation Program (MOOP) is suggested transcending from classic manpower, time, and financial planning into addition of strategic, skills and commercial objectives. A Pareto front is used as validation mechanism. Research limitations/implications: Project selection processes are widened with select and critical quantitative positions. Potentials remain in areas of team capability, corporate capabilities, deeper skill understanding, and stakeholder engagement. Various technological and economic advances have changed human life in this modern era. In the monetary field one can see the turn of events is a type of speculation. Today, technology can be used to make investments, regarding stocks, forex, and cryptocurrencies, which can be done practically. Because investing is made easy by software, and many people are interested. The interest of the local area is speculated to be used as a farm by criminals. The usual methodology is utilized by combining today’s business with the use of trading robots. The actual regulations governing investment are contained in Law no. 25 of 2007 concerning capital enterprises. However, the law contains no penalties or criminal guidelines in relation to misrepresentation involving innovation in effective financial planning. Article 378 of the Criminal Code contains an element of fraud. If it is associated with cases of illegal investments under the guide of trading robots, one element will be found that has not been fulfilled. Therefore, it can be concluded that Indonesia has explicitly regulated investment activities with trading robots. Meanwhile, the guidelines for using innovation are regulated in Regulation Number 19 of 2016 Amendment to Regulation Number 11 of 2008 concerning Data and Gadgets. The regulations only apply to electronic transactions, not to investments made with the help of technology. The development progress of rural areas generally lags behind that of urban areas. To bridge this gap, the support of various factors is essential, with financing being one of the key elements. In rural regions, several financing sources can be utilized to bolster development efforts, such as Village Original Income (PAD), Transfer Funds, and other financial resources. Belitung Regency, as an archipelagic area within the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, undoubtedly requires financial support to foster developmental progress within its jurisdiction, given the pivotal role of financing in development. To comprehend the impact of financing, particularly on village expenditures in rural locales, it is imperative to undertake research. Hence, this study is designed to examine and analyze the influence of village income on village expenditures in Belitung Regency. The Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) is one analytical model applicable for assessing the impact of village income on village expenditure. Data for this study is amassed through observation, with some obtained from specific agencies. Utilizing the GWR analytical model will elucidate the varying influences of village income on village expenditure across individual villages, since the GWR method is an advanced form of simple regression analysis that incorporates spatial elements to yield more granular, regionspecific outcomes. The findings from the GWR analysis indicate that village funds and allocations have a positive effect on village expenditures in certain areas, signifying that they can increase spending. However, in other regions, these same financial instruments display a negative impact due to poor planning. Additionally, variables such as profit sharing, bank interest, aid grants, and general village original income positively influence village spending, suggesting that an increase in these variables can bolster spending in Belitung Regency. Purpose: As with any organisation, one of the most important prerequisites for the effective operation of a research institute is proper planning of its functioning-that is, accurately defining the future and establishing all the resources necessary for scientific, financial and economic activities. This paper is an attempt to illustrate the importance of planning the activities of a research institute over different time horizons for its proper functioning. Design/methodology/approach: To solve the research problem posed in this way, the following was used: (1) a method of analysing and critiquing the literature through literature studies leading to a possibly multifaceted presentation of the issue of planning the functioning of a research institute and (2) a document examination method involving the collection of source materials, which were: financial plans, prospective directions of scientific, development and implementation activities, thematic directional plans for scientific research and development work, the institute's strategy and the procedures and practices used to prepare the plans. Findings: The research shows that the planning process at the research institute is subject to the requirements of the applicable regulations. This implies the necessity to draw up four types of plans in terms of: prospective directions of scientific, development and implementation activities, directional thematic plans of scientific research and development works and annual activity and financial plans. Originality/value: In the article, the authors attempt to adapt universal planning principles to the specific activities of research institutes. This is a new issue and a response to practical needs. With its judgement on the federal budget, the German Federal Constitutional Court has thrown the government's financial planning into disarray. Important public investments are at stake, as the debt brake sets tight limits for the treasury and debt-financed shadow budgets. But the green transition requires public investment as the time horizons are short and the investment risk for technologies and international competition is high. A transformation and infrastructure fund (TIF) anchored in the constitution, combined with planning accelerations should be established in order to finance government investments while at the same time leaving the debt brake in the core budget untouched. The article focuses on the financial planning necessary for decarbonizing central utility plants (CUPs) in higher education institutions. Topics include the importance of developing a unique mission statement for decarbonization, the role of stakeholder feedback in shaping conversations, and the need to diversify funding mechanisms to spread investments.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyse, firstly, whether education, financial inclusion, financial literacy and financial planning can be antecedents that affect Islamic welfare and, secondly, whether productivity can be a mediator to improve Islamic welfare. Design/methodology/approach: This study involved quantitative research using data obtained from a survey. The respondents were 538 Muslim families in East Java, Indonesia. Structural equation modelling was used for the analysis. Findings: This study tested 13 hypotheses, of which 10 were accepted. The accepted hypotheses refer to the effects of financial literacy on productivity, financial inclusion on productivity, financial planning on productivity, financial planning on Islamic welfare, education on Islamic welfare, productivity on Islamic welfare, financial literacy and productivity on Islamic welfare, financial inclusion and productivity on Islamic welfare and financial planning and productivity on Islamic welfare, as well as the effects of financial inclusion on Islamic welfare. Meanwhile, three hypotheses were not accepted; they refer to the effects of financial literacy on Islamic welfare, the effect of education on productivity, as well as the impact of education and productivity on Islamic welfare. Research limitations/implications: The study was conducted only with respondents living in East Java, so the results depict the condition of Muslim families' welfare in East Java. Originality/value: Research into the antecedents of Islamic welfare has received little academic attention, so this study explores how education, financial inclusion, financial literacy, financial planning and productivity could affect Islamic welfare among Muslim families. In Indonesia there is still a big opportunity to develop the sharia industry in Indonesia, especially sharia life insurance. This is based on the penetration rate of life insurance in Indonesia in 2018 only reaching 1.3%, which shows a decrease from the previous year which was 1.4%. Therefore a strategy is needed to increase the penetration of sharia insurance through research on the factors that influence a person's interest in participating in sharia life insurance. This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy, Islamic life insurance knowledge, Islamic financial planning, and financial behavior on interest in participating in Islamic life insurance. This research is a quantitative research. Primary data was obtained through a survey that obtained 140 respondents aged over 17 years and domiciled in the city of Bogor. The analysis uses the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with SmartPLS software. The results of this study indicate that the variable knowledge of sharia life insurance and sharia financial planning has a significant effect on interest in participating in sharia life insurance. This paper aims to identify personas and explore how factors like age, gender, and knowledge impact AI acceptance. The data shows varying levels of willingness to adopt AI in finance across demographics. Younger, more educated individuals demonstrate greater trust and usage of AI-enabled financial tools, raising concerns about inclusivity and potential barriers for older or less educated individuals. The paper will delve into these disparities, exploring the underlying reasons for resistance, such as perceived risks or lack of education about AI. To ensure equitable distribution of AI's benefits, we recommend enhancing AI literacy and designing more inclusive AI, as this approach paves the way for a society in which AI empowers all ages with its potential. The research aims to study the financial behavior of students from the Babeș-Bolyai University in the municipality of Cluj-Napoca and the factors that, according to the literature, are contributors to its formation and positive modeling. Several factors were studied using a quantitative paradigm: family financial socialization, the level of financial self-control, and exposure to financial education. The overall picture of the financial behavior of the students who took part in the research (Babeș-Bolyai University students filling a self-administered questionnaire) illustrates a relatively healthy financial behavior.

In today’s complex economic environment, individuals and households alike grapple with the challenge of financial planning. This paper introduces novel methodologies for both individual and cooperative (household) financial budgeting. We firstly propose an optimization framework for individual budget allocation, aiming to maximize savings by efficiently distributing monthly income among various expense categories. We then extend this model to households, wherein the complexity of handling multiple incomes and shared expenses is addressed. The cooperative model prioritizes not only maximized savings but also the preferences and needs of each member, fostering a harmonious financial environment, whether they are short-term needs or long-term aspirations. A notable innovation in our approach is the integration of recommendations from a large language model (LLM). Given its vast training data and potent inferential capabilities, the LLM provides initial feasible solutions to our optimization problems, acting as a guiding beacon for individuals and households unfamiliar with the nuances of financial planning. Our preliminary results indicate that the LLM-recommended solutions result in budget plans that are both economically sound, meaning that they are consistent with established financial management principles and promote fiscal resilience and stability, and aligned with the financial goals and preferences of the concerned parties. This integration of AI-driven recommendations with econometric models, as an instantiation of an extended coevolutionary (EC) theory, paves the way for a new era in financial planning, making it more accessible and effective for a wider audience, as we propose an example of a new theory in economics where human behavior can be greatly influenced by AI agents.

Relevance. The article discusses the theoretical foundations of strategic financial planning. Aim. To reveal the features of influence of external factors on development of alternatives to the enterprise sustainable development strategy. Methods: STEEM method for analysing the influence of environmental factors on the activities of tourism organizations in the Republic of Belarus. Expert researchers in this field of knowledge from the Belarusian State Economic University took part in assigning weighting coefficients. Results. The authors have proposed an algorithm for determining the financial goals and objectives of strategic development of tourism industry organizations, compiling the functional dependence of one of the options for a financial strategy for a tourism organization development. They structured financial goals and objectives of the strategic development of a tourism organization in accordance with its stage of the life cycle and competitive position in the industry. Building an organization financial strategy allows us to take into account the influence of macroeconomic factors when developing its alternative models, the diversity of the company financial relations, and identify patterns of interaction with the external environment. The importance of taking into account changes in the social structure of society caused by an increase in average age of consumers in the tourism business is noted.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Financial planning and Managing liability on financial inclusion case study on active shopee paylater users in Indonesia. The research was conducted in Indonesia, the research period was July-September 2023. The research population is active shopee paylater users in Indonesia whose exact number cannot be known. This study used Non-probability Purposive Sampling technique and for a sample of 116 respondents, but less than 100 complete questionnaires were considered usable. The results showed that financial planning and managing liability affect financial inclusion access to shopee paylater financing, including through ease of administration and ease of use. Shopee PayLater is accessible to a wide range of users, including those in underserved or remote areas, and makes it available to individuals who may not have had access to similar financial services before. This study examined how customer perception of dependence on salesperson (CPDS) and customer–salesperson guanxi determine salesperson influence tactics (SITs) and salesperson influence effectiveness (SIE) in the context of Confucian-rooted culture. We issued 800 online questionnaires to customers of four Taiwanese life insurance companies and obtained 636 valid responses. Structural equation modeling was employed to test the hypotheses. The results confirmed that CPDS and customer-salesperson guanxi determine SIT usage and SIE, where CPDS also facilitates close customer-salesperson guanxi. We discovered that SITs contribute to the positive effect of customer-salesperson guanxi on SIE, and customer-salesperson guanxi positively mediates the effect of CPDS on SIT usage and SIE. Customer-salesperson guanxi, CPDS, and information exchange, promise, and encouragement tactics contribute to SIE. This may be the first study to associate CPDS and customer-salesperson guanxi with SIT usage and SIE simultaneously in the context of Confucian-rooted culture. Many financial advisors consider tax brackets when recommending a withdrawal strategy for their retired clients. However, they should look at marginal tax rates. Due to the taxation of Social Security benefits and income-based Medicare premiums, the marginal tax rate for most retirees on a wide range of their income is substantially higher than their tax bracket. This study shows that, by focusing on marginal tax rates, an advisor can add significant value to clients' financial accounts by recommending a tax-efficient withdrawal strategy that outperforms withdrawal strategies that only focus on tax brackets. Using data from the Current Population Survey's Merged Outgoing Rotation Groups, the authors examine whether greater Medicaid generosity encourages people to switch toward better quality occupations. Exploiting variation in Medicaid eligibility expansions for children across states during the 1990s and early 2000s, they find that a one standard deviation increase in Medicaid infant income thresholds increased the likelihood that working parents move to a new occupation by 1.6 percentage points or 3.3%. Findings show that these effects are larger for those below 150% of the poverty line and for married parents who were not benefiting from Medicaid prior to the expansions. In addition, findings indicate that Medicaid generosity also increased mobility toward occupations with higher average wages and higher educational requirements. This article contributes to the literature on job lock by showing that access to public health insurance not only increases employment and job switches but also encourages occupational upgrading.
