The sensitivity and specificity of different assessment techniques were compared with VIDA score by the differences and consistency. The different characteristics of dermoscopy and RCM with different treatment responses were also analyzed.Results: The results showed that the sensitivity and specificity of dermoscopy combined RCM were higher than RCM or dermoscopy alone (P values less than 0.05). In the repigmentation process, leukotrichia, pigment network absent and perilesional hyperpigmentation under dermoscopy at the baseline suggested a poor treatment response, while the incompletely disappearing pigment rings under RCM and perifollicular hyperpigmentation under dermoscopy indicated a good treatment response. We also found the proportion of patients with telangiectasia, increased pigment at the lesions and around the hair follicles was significantly higher in the good treatment response group than that in the poor one by dermoscopy (χ 2 = 4.423, 32.471, 4.348, P = 0.035 0.000, 0.037) and by RCM the proportion of patients with both increased pigment granules and dendritic melanocytes in the good treatmen

Abstract

Improving the intrinsic film quality of metal halide perovskites is very critical to increase the power conversion efficiency and long-term stability of perovskite solar cells. Here we report a multifunctional, non-volatile additive that can be used to modulate the kinetics of perovskite film growth through a hydrogen-bond-bridged intermediate phase. The additive enables the formation of large perovskite grains and coherent grain growth from bottom to the surface of the film. The enhanced film morphology results in significantly reduced non-radiative recombinations, thus boosting the power conversion efficiency of inverted (p–i–n) solar cells to 24.8% (24.5% certified) with a low energy loss of 0.36 eV. The unencapsulated devices exhibit improved thermal stability with a T98 lifetime beyond 1,000 h under continuous heating at 65 ± 5 °C in a nitrogen-filled glovebox. This effective approach can also be applied to wide-bandgap perovskites and large-area devices to show reduced voltage loss and high efficiency. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Limited.

Abstract

Nonlinear model predictive control often involves nonconvex optimization for which real-time control systems require fast and numerically stable solutions. This work proposes RPGD, a Resampling Parallel Gradient Descent optimizer designed to exploit small-batch parallelism of modern hardware like neural accelerators or multithreaded microcontrollers. After initialization, it continuously maintains a small population of good control trajectory solution candidates and improves them using gradient information, followed by selection of elite candidates and resampling of the others. In simulation on a cartpole, the OpenAI Gym mountain car, a Dubins car with obstacles, and a high input dimensional 2D arm, it produces similar or lower MPC costs than benchmark cross-entropy and path integral methods. On a physical cartpole, it performs swing-up and cart target following of the pole, using either a differential equation or multilayer perceptron as dynamics model. RPGD drives an F1TENTH simulated race car at near-optimal lap times and a real F1TENTH car in laps around a cluttered room. We study alterations of RPGD's building blocks to justify its composition. RPGD compute time in Python with TensorFlow optimization running on CPU is 2 to 4 times slower than the FORCESPRO commercial embedded solver.

Abstract

Wei AH platform is a platform composed of 8 horizontal wells in Weiyuan shale gas area. The number of faults in the area is small, and natural fractures are locally developed. Therefore, it is necessary to take volume reconstruction as the core mining technology and establish the geology-engineering integration model for the platform according to the geology-engineering integration concept. On the basis of geological model, combined with one-dimensional rock mechanics profile, the geomechanical model of Wei AH platform is established by means of deep diagenetic theory. Based on geological model and geomechanical model, the well trajectory design model, fracturing design model and reservoir numerical simulation model are modeled and optimized respectively. Finally, it can realize the comprehensive application of geophysical, geological, mechanical and seepage data, and complete the mutual call and matching of all kinds of understanding and models.

172. Optimal Post-Fault Recovery Control Based on Topology Reconfiguration of Wind Farm Collection Systems

Abstract

The fault of the collector cable in a wind farm (WF) may lead to the tripping of wind turbines (WTs), and thus threaten the secure and stable operation of the WF. In this article, a topology reconfiguration-based optimal fault-recovery control (TROFC) scheme is proposed for the WF collection system to isolate the fault while keeping WTs within WF uninterrupted operation. The proposed TROFC scheme also involves two-stage control which includes the offline topology optimization and online fault recovery. In the first stage, an integer second-order cone programming-based optimization method is used to determine the location and number of contact cables offline, which takes the contact cable cost, average voltage, and current deviation of WF system into consideration. In the second stage, the closed-loop current and limit closing time are quantified. The online control scheme is designed based on quantified closed-loop current and limit closing time to enhance the safe operation capacity of a WF during the topology reconfiguration period. The order of topology reconfiguration is closed-loop operation followed by de-loop operation. The effectiveness of the proposed TROFC scheme is validated in MATLAB/Simulink.

Abstract

Hepatoblastoma (HB) is a common primary malignant liver tumour in children, mainly treated by means of traditional chemotherapy using platinum and doxorubicin (ADM). There has been limited progress in the research and development of new drugs for treating HB.A tumour biopsy from a child with HB was implanted into immunodeficient mice. The primary tumour and patient-derived xenograft (PDX) tumour were extensively characterised by histology, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and humanisation identification. We used the PDX model to evaluate the anti-tumour effects of anlotinib oxaliplatin (L-OHP) and sorafenib on childhood HB.The established PDX model maintained the histological characteristics of the primary tumour. Anlotinib, L-OHP, and sorafenib can significantly inhibit the tumour growth in the PDX model. There was no obvious damage of the drugs to the heart, liver and kidney of the mice, and the side effects observed were light.We have successfully established a PDX model of childhood HB. The model retains important molecular characteristics of human primary tumours. Using the model, it was found that anlotinib, L-OHP, and sorafenib have a good inhibitory effect on the growth of childhood HB. This provides a preliminary research basis for the clinical application of the drugs.

Abstract

Anoplocaryum (Boraginaceae), a small genus previously known from Russia and Mongolia, is newly recorded from China. The specimen was discovered in the rock crevices of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei province, China, and was identified as A. helenae Volot. based on both morphological and molecular data. This study updates our knowledge on the geographic distribution of the genus Anoplocaryum. Two taxonomic keys were provided to distinguish Anoplocaryum and Chinese related genera, also to index taxa in Anoplocaryum.
