Among the many preserved mangrove areas in Riau Province is the one located in the Meranti Islands Regency. However, the regency is prone to environmental pollution and destruction, so control efforts, namely prevention, management, and recovery, are needed to mitigate it. This study aims to explain women's involvement in the mangrove community's activities as well as their social position within said community. Their involvement will be able to explain their social position, whether they have the ability to make decisions on public activities or only act as objects of a patriarchal development process. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The main informants in this study were women who were directly involved in the mangrove community activities, while the villagers who were not directly involved acted as supporting informants. The village women who were involved in the mangrove forest rehabilitation are all married, aged 29 to 50 years old, and have completed elementary school. Each woman has specialized activities, such as seeding, planting, and making dodol, syrup, and chips. Their role in the mangrove community has a great potential to control the balance between ecological and socio-economic benefits of mangrove forests. However, their activities are not independent. Their involvement is passive as it remains under the management of a coastal conservation leader, and it only serves to help their husbands because the rehabilitation of coastal areas will help maintain the habitat of fish and marine animals, which are their husbands' source of income.

Vitamin D (25-Hydroxyvitamin D3 [25(OH)D3]) has an important role in the immune system. This study aimedto assess the relationship between 25-Hydroxyvitamin D3 and disease activity in Indonesian children with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) during pandemic Covid-19. A 12-week randomized control trial was undertaken at Saiful Anwar Hospital between Juneand September 2021. JIA patients are divided into two groups. The control group (CG),without supplementation, and the treatment group (TG) got a high dose of oral cholecalciferol 2000 IU/day. Serum levels of 25(OH)D3 were measured using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). Comparison between serum 25(OH)D3 levels and JIA subtypes, peripheral blood C-reactive protein (CRP), erythrocytesedimentation rate (ESR), and Juvenile Arthritis Disease Activity Score (JADAS-27 Score) were analyzed using SPSS.There was a significant increase in serum 25(OH)D3 levels in treatment group (mean: 27.38 ± 6.39 ng/ml vs 42.26 ± 10.95 ng/ml; P=0.000). The JADAS-27 score significantly decrease in treatment group (14.60 ± 4.04 vs 6.24 ± 1.96; p= 0.000). Serum 25(OH)D3 showed a significant correlation with the JADAS-27 score. The levels of 25(OH)D3 are significantly decreased in children with JIA. Decreased 25(OH)D3 levels may be associated with the etiopathogenesis of JIA. Vitamin D levels have correlations with disease activity. Adjunctive treatment of cholecalciferol improves the disease activity in JIA patients.

Teknologi Pendidikan adalah sebuah studi dan praktik etis dalam upaya memfasilitasi proses belajar serta meningkatkan kinerja dengan menciptakan, menggunakan, mengelola proses dan sumber teknologi yang tepat. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang meliputi kepustakaan, wawancara, proses pembuatan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 40 orang mahasiswa, ada 33 orang mahasiswa atau sebesar 82,5% mampu mengerjakan tugas dan latihan tepat waktu, tumbuh sikap belajar mandiri serta menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu terhadap teknologi yang dihadapi setelah mereka mengoptimalisasikan media presentasi berbasis aplikasi frizi. Sedangakan 7 orang mahasiswa atau sebesar 17,5% setelah mereka mengoptimalisasikan media presentasi berbasis aplikasi frizi, mereka belum mampu mengerjakan tugas dan latihan tepat waktu, rendahnya sikap mandiri dikarenakan malu bertanya dan kurang menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu karena disebabkan android yang mereka miliki belum support system. Penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa optimalisasi media presentasi berbasis Prezi mampu memberikan manfaat yang sangat baik bagi dosen dan mahasiswa di masa new normal pandemic pada saat ini, sehingga media presentasi ini mampu menambah nilai lebih interaktif dan inovatif dalam proses pembelajaran.

The aims of this community service is to improve teachers’ professional competence through training for writing scientific article and classroom action research. The method used was training method with online and offline form. This training was done on September until November 2021. The target was the teachers of Senior High School 2 Merauke province Papua. There were some steps of this community service namely observation, giving material, and monitoring to know the progress of the program. After that training was done, the participants were give the questionnaires that consisted of ten statements. Based on the result of questionnaires, the teachers of Senior High School 2 Merauke gave positive responses namely the responses on very good, good, and neutral category. The result showed that the training can help the teachers in doing classroom action research and scientific research, improving the motivation in writing, helping the job, and improving the professional competency of the teacher.

Keberadaan bangunan peninggalan sejarah pada masa kolonial Belanda di kota Pematangsiantar menjadi salah satu potensi destinasi pariwisata sejarah. Saat ini terdapat Bioskop Ria sebagai salah satu bangunan tua yang tidak difungsikan dan terbengkalai. Revitalisasi dengan pengalihan fungsi sebagai solusi untuk memanfaatkan kembali bangunan terabaikan yang memiliki nilai sejarah. Melalui pendekatan Arsitektur Ekspresionis dengan analogi konsep “ekspresi dari memutar masa lalu untuk dikenang†yang digambarkan pada pemutar film. Revitalisasi dengan penambahan, dan perbaikan fungsi Bioskop Ria dapat meningkatkan sektor pariwisata di kota Pematangsiantar.

Penelitian dilakukan guna mengetahui pengaruh perilaku konsumtif ditinjau dari Body Image dan kepercayaan diri dalam berbelanja online pada 43 karyawan dan 70 karyawati di departemen office PT. PHPO KIM II Medan dengan memakai metode yakni total sampling. Data dari penelitian yang dikumpulkan dengan memakai skala Perilaku Konsumtif yang mana terdiri atas 29 aitem, serta skala Body Image terdiri atas 22 aitem, skala kepercayaan diri dimana terdiri atas 22 aitem. Adapun Hasil dari penelitian ini yakni bahwasanya adanya pengaruh diantara Body Image dan kepercayaan diri karyawan dan karyawati yang mana nilai uji F = 24,564 serta sig. = 0.000. Terdapatnya pengaruh negatif antara Body Image pada perilaku konsumtif dimana nilai koefisien betanya yakni -0.032 serta nilai sig. 0.872 (p > 0.05), bahkan terdapatnya pengaruh positif diantara kepercayaan diri atas perilaku konsumtif dengan nilai dari koefisien betanya yakni -0.565 dan sig. 0.000 (p < 0.05). Uji asumsi yang terdiri atas empat uji yaitu normalitas, multikolinearitas, autokorelasi, serta heteroskedastisitas. Analisis regresi linier berganda dipakai guna menguji data, yang dibantu oleh SPSS Statistics 25 for Windows. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwasanya kontribusi efektif perilaku konsumtif terhadap Body Image dan kepercayaan diri dalam berbelanja online yakni 29,6%, dengan 70,4% dipengaruhi variabel lainnya yang tidak akan dipelajari.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP serta mengetahui kesalahan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah pada materi himpunan berdasarkan indikator pemecahan masalah menurut Polya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengolahan data yaitu dengan menilai jawaban siswa berdasarkan soal indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah menurut Polya sebanyak 2 soal uraian yang merupakan instrumen tes. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 20 siswa SMP kelas VII. Kemudian diambil enam orang siswa yang memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah kategori tinggi, sedang, dan rendah sebagai subjek utama untuk dianalisis. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada semester gasal tahun ajaran 2021. Materi yang diujikan adalah materi himpunan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa tergolong rendah, masih terdapat kesalahan-kesalahan yang ditemukan pada hasil jawaban siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah, diantaranya: tidak menuliskan apa yang diketahui, ditanyakan, dan tidak menuliskan unsur-unsurnya, tidak memahami permasalahan soal, kekeliruan dalam mendeskripsikan unsur-unsurnya, serta pelaksanaan rencana penyelesaian yang tidak tepat.

External debt is one of the fiscal policies that are still widely used by developing countries as an instrument of development capital. Limited capital in development in developing countries is one of the obstacles to the accelerated development of a country, one of which is in South Asian countries. This study aims to determine the effects of external debt, exports, foreign direct investment (FDI), and exchange rates on economic growth in South Asian countries using panel data in eight countries with a 2005–2019 series. data in the form of panel data from several data sources, including the World Bank, UnctadSTAT, and the Asian Development Bank. The panel data regression method is used to see the effect of external debt and other macroeconomic variables on economic growth as proxied by GDP growth for South Asian countries. The results of the analysis found that external debt, exports, and FDI had a significant positive effect on economic growth in South Asian countries. However, the exchange rate has a significant negative effect on economic growth in South Asian countries. These results imply that external debt is still needed as a policy instrument in development and economic growth in South Asia, with debt management for the allocation of productive activities. As indicated by increasing welfare and national economic growth, external debt management can accelerate development.

The research aims to: 1) develop thematic digital comics for healthy children during the Covid-19 pandemic for learning PJOK for Class V Elementary School students in Palembang, 2) to determine the effectiveness of product implementation. The research method uses quantitative research with the ADDIE development model approach. The research subjects consisted of 1 physical education learning technology expert, 1 learning psychology expert, 3 PJOK teachers and 30 elementary school fifth grade students. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaire instruments and observation guidelines. Data analysis used descriptive quantitative. The results of the research are 1) it has produced a thematic digital comic model for healthy children during the Covid-19 pandemic for Grade V Elementary School Students in Palembang, 2) the percentage of effectiveness is 87.73% so it is very feasible to use. The hope is that it will become an alternative choice of learning media for physical education, sports and health (PJOK)

Learning media is needed because the media can be used as tools or additional teaching materials in addition to textbooks and worksheets. The use of learning media can increase students' motivation and interest in learning. Ecosystem material flip chart media is expected to be a solution in the learning process so that not only teachers but also students are active in the learning process. This study aims to describe the validity of flip chart learning media in class X ecosystem material. This study uses Research and Development (R & D) research methods and the ADDIE development model, through the stages of analysis (analyze), design (design), development (development) and implementation (implementation). The validity test was obtained from 3 validators according to their expertise. The data was obtained through an assessment instrument in the form of a validity assessment sheet. The results of this study indicate that flip chart learning media obtained an average validity value of 91.67% on the physical appearance aspect, 96.67% on the illustration aspect, 94.43% on the media quality aspect, and 100% on the attractiveness aspect. Based on the values obtained from the four aspects, the overall average value was 94.44%, so it can be concluded that the flip chart learning media has a very valid category.

The COVID-19 pandemic is an unexpected event that causes stock market investors to panic so that their value drops drastically. Operating cash flow and free cash flow are indicators of a company’s financial statements that are used as a reference for investors’ decision making in the stock market. A firm’s cash flows reflect real changes in the firm’s value for money. Cash flow growth can provide information on how well the firm’s performance is in generating incremental cash inflows that can increase firm value. This study aims to explore the relationship between cash flow growth before the COVID-19 pandemic and after the COVID-19 outbreak on stock price performance. This study uses the OLS regression method with a total sample of 426 companies in the Indonesian capital market in the period March 2, 2020 to March 2, 2021. The results show that cash flow growth from operations and free cash flow growth had no significant effect on stock return after COVID-19 outbreaks in years 2020 to 2021. Sales growth, market capitalization and stock return before the COVID-19 outbreak from 2019 to 2020 had a significant negative correlation with the post COVID-19 outbreak stock return. Then, sectors whose stock performance is positively correlated after the COVID-19 outbreak are basic industry, chemicals, miscellaneous industry and infrastructure. This shows that the economic crisis caused by COVID-19 is an anomaly in the stock market. Therefore, cash flow is not relevant information for investors in predicting a company’s performance during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.

Antioxidants are compounds that can stabilize free radicals in the body. Free radicals are highly reactive molecules as they have unpaired electrons to interact with body cell molecules. Tomatoes contain flavonoids, saponins, solanine tannins, folic acid, malic acid, citric acid, protein, fat, vitamins, minerals, and histamine, which can be used as antioxidants. This study aims to evaluate the antioxidant activity of n-hexane, ethyl acetate, water fraction, and ethanol extracts of Tomatoes and to determine the greatest antioxidant activity between n-hexane, ethyl acetate, water and vitamin C. Tomatoes (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) was extracted using the maceration method with ethanol followed by fractionation using n-hexane and ethyl acetate solvents. The test of antioxidant activity to DPPH radical was conducted on n-hexane, ethyl acetate, water, and vitamin C. The antioxidant activity results, expressed by IC50 value to the n-hexane, ethyl acetate, water fraction of Tomatoes fruit, were 4.4603 ppm; 4.0868 ppm; and 4.0527 ppm, respectively. Thus, the greatest antioxidant activity was the water fraction.

Objectives of this review is to evaluate the role of cytochrome P450 gene polymorphisms in COVID-19 infected patients with pre-existing OA on corticosteroids. The purpose of this review is to analyze whether polymorphisms of Cytochrome p450 isoforms (CYP2C9 and CYP3A4) affect the dosage of steroids in OA patients in COVID-19 infected patients. This review may provide more therapeutic options; suggest a few guidelines which may be useful in managing COVID-19 patients with pre-existing osteoarthritis. The important role of corticosteroids in treating patients infected with COVID-19 with preexisting osteoarthritis, its influence on incidence of mortality or morbidity may be highlighted. The influence of CYP enzymes and their polymorphisms suggest safety of treatments as well as the possible need for the dosage adjustment or their discontinuation.

The massive potential of pineapple fruit production can produce a sizable amount of waste, around 75% (w/w) of pineapple weight, contributing to global environmental problems. For this reason, biorefinery techniques are urgently needed to convert pineapple plantation waste into high-value-added bioproducts including bromelain, various sugars, xylooligoscharide, xylitol, and ethanol. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of converting pineapple plantation waste into bromelain, xylitol, and ethanol. In this study, the activity of the bromelain enzyme was tested in each part of the pineapple plant waste. The configuration of the hydrolysis and fermentation processes used to make ethanol and xylitol from the rest of the pineapple plant waste from bromelain extraction was also investigated. Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme found in pineapple plants and can be isolated from every part of pineapple plant waste. Enzyme activity under several conditions, such as crude extract, pure extract, and dried extract, has been studied to determine the best conditions for the downstream process of this enzyme’s production in the future. The purification of bromelain involved the utilization of the precipitation method followed by dialysis, whereas the drying process of bromelain employed the freeze-drying method. The bromelain enzyme specific activity is shown to be highest in the pineapple stem, as observed in crude-extract (1.45 ± 0.06 CDU/mg), purified-extract (10.38 ± 0.06 CDU/mg), and dried-extract (12.05 ± 0.43 CDU/mg) conditions. Using the pineapple stem to extract bromelain can produce lignocellulosic waste, which is made up of 39.47% starch, 19.96% hemicellulose, 36.44% cellulose, and 6.05% lignin. The high content of starch, cellulose, and hemicellulose has the potential to be used as feedstock for ethanol and xylitol fermentation. In this study, ethanol and xylitol fermentation were carried out using two methods: separate hydrolysis and fermentation methods (SHF) and semi-simultaneous saccharification and fermentation methods (semi-SSF). As a result, fermentation using the semi-SSF method produced ethanol with a higher titer and yield (22.12 ± 0.05 g/L and 0.44 ± 0.00 g/g, respectively). However, the production of xylitol was found to be insignificant, regardless of whether it was obtained using SHF or semi-SSF. The purification of bromelain involved the utilization of the precipitation method followed by dialysis, whereas the drying process of bromelain employed the freeze-drying method.

Abstract Hydrothermal modification is a physically safe modification applied in a food product to enhance its functional properties and to extend the starch application in the food industry. Heat Moisture Treatment (HMT) and Annealing (ANN) affect the starch’s functional properties in its crystalline and digestive characteristics. Native starch is modified by HMT with 25% moisture content and 4 hours heating time, by ANN with starch and water ratio of 1:3 (w/w), and 10 hours at 50°C. Modified lesser yam starch by HMT and ANN have different crystalline and digestive characteristics from its native, although the modification do not change its granule morphology. The diffraction pattern of HMT starch is changed from A-type to A+B-type, but not on the ANN starch. Starch content and digestive value decreased, while amylose and resistant starch content increased compared to native starch. Jamu merupakan minuman tradisional warisan nenek moyang yang perlu dijaga akan tetapi keberadaannya saat ini mulai menurun. Jamu digunakan untuk menyembuhkan suatu penyakit yang ringan dan memelihara kesehatan. Inovasi dan kreasi terhadap usaha jamu diperlukan dalam rangka mempertahankan keberadaan obat tradisional di masa kini. Inovasi terhadap jamu dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan variasi yaitu dengan membuat es lilin jamu dengan varian rasa kunyit asam dan beras kencur, yang diharapkan dapat menjadi opsi bagi anak-anak agar mereka menyukai jamu. Mitra kami merupakan UMKM Jamu Tradisional di Kampung Surobawan, Kelurahan Jayengan, Surakarta yang terdiri dari ibu-ibu pembuat jamu tradisional. Inovasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu solusi agar jamu dapat dikonsumsi untuk seluruh kalangan, diantaranya adalah agar anak-anak menyukai jamu. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan dengan menyelenggarakan knowledge empowerment dan demonstrasi pembuatan es lilin jamu terhadap anggota UMKM Jamu Tradisional di Kampung Surobawan. Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar dan diikuti oleh peserta dengan penuh antusias. Proses diskusi pada saat demo berjalan dengan menarik serta banyak hal yang ditanyakan oleh para peserta. Para peserta sangat memahami manfaat jamu terhadap kesehatan serta pentingnya inovasi terhadap produk jamu yang dijual agar dapat mengikuti jaman serta tidak kalah dengan banyaknya pesaing penjual minuman yang saat ini sedang tren.

Acetosal is classified in the Biopharmaceutical Classification System (BCS) class II (low solubility, high permeability). Low solubility causes a decreased dissolution rate. Polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) K-30 is an inert carrier easily soluble in water and can influence the solubility of a drug substance. Efforts to increase the solubility of acetosal make a solid dispersion system. This study aims to determine the effect of the solid dispersion system of acetosal: PVP K-30 on dissolution rate, the ratio of the solid dispersion with the best dissolution rate, and the physical properties of acetosal tablets formed in the dispersion system. Solid dispersions using the dissolving method with variations in the concentration of acetosal: PVP K-30 1:1, 1:3, and 1:5. The results of the dissolution test of acetosal in solid dispersion powder, i.e., PVP Formula 1:5, which has the highest dissolution percentage compared to formula 1:1 and 1:3 with the concentration this formula was 140.96 mg, dissolution percentage was 28.19±0,63% in 30 minutes. BackgroundIndonesia's national response to COVID-19 evolved rapidly throughout 2020. Understanding pandemic response and outcomes is crucial for better mitigation strategies ahead. This study describes the characteristics and outcomes of patients admitted to ICU during the early stages of the pandemic.MethodsThis is a multi-centre prospective observational study including patients from twelve collaborating hospitals in Indonesia. All patients were clinically suspected or laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases admitted to ICU between January 2020 and March 2021. The primary outcome was monthly ICU mortality. Descriptive statistics of patient characteristics and treatment were generated as secondary outcomes.ResultsFrom 559 subjects, the overall mortality was 68% and decreased over the study period, while the mortality of patients that received mechanical ventilation was 92%, consistently high over the study period. Fatal cases showed 2- and 4-day delays from symptoms onset to hospital admissions and ICU admissions, respectively. Evidence-backed approaches which could influence patient outcome, such as extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, prone positioning, renal replacement therapy, and neuromuscular blockade were scarcely administered.ConclusionsThe mortality rate of COVID-19 patients in Indonesia was extremely high during the first major outbreak of disease, particularly in those mechanically ventilated. Delayed admission and unavailability of evidence-based approaches due to high burden on health facility during COVID-19 crisis could be addressed by efficient public health measures and enhancing health infrastructure to improve the future pandemic response.

Stigma remains a significant problem globally, creating barriers to services for individuals in need, regardless of access to services. The stigma of COVID-19 primarily happened because it is a new disease with several unknowns, and these unknowns generate fear. This study aimed to conduct a psychometric development and evaluate the Public COVID-19 Stigma Scale that follows the Indonesian community's cultural background. This study used research and development design to measure the COVID-19 stigma through six steps that include seven dimensions and is culturally sensitive, starting from a literature review through to psychometric evaluation. This study was community based and was conducted in 26 regions in the Sumedang Regency. The research and development step ran from July 2021 to November 2022, with a total of 1,686 respondents. The results showed that the social stigma scale for COVID-19 consisted of 11 valid and reliable items that were separated into seven dimensions: social distancing (1 item), traditional prejudice (7 items), exclusionary sentiments (2 items), negative affect (2 items), treatment carryover (1 item), disclosure carryover (2 items), and perception of dangerousness (1 item). Further research needs to be conducted to examine the level of stigma and determine interventions to overcome the social stigma around COVID-19 in the community.

Low cognitive learning outcomes of students can hinder student learning processes. This obstacle occurs because the learning method has yet to facilitate student learning trajectories resulting in low cognitive mathematics learning outcomes for students. The purpose of this research was to determine the impact of the MathMagic learning method on the mathematics cognitive learning outcomes of the students. The method used in this research was a quasi-experimental research design with a nonequivalent control group design. Data collection was done by test technique of students' cognitive learning outcomes. Data analysis techniques in this study used instrument tests in the form of validity and reliability tests, prerequisite tests in the form of normality tests and homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests in the form of independent sample t-tests. The results show that the MathMagic learning method influenced students' cognitive learning outcomes in mathematics, especially in adding fractions with different denominators. This MathMagic learning method effectively improves understanding of the basic addition of fractions with unlike denominators.

Kasturi mango (Mangifera casturi Kosterm.) is a typical mango of South Kalimantan. Kasturi mango leaves are reported to have antioxidant activity and are potential for treating various diseases, including diseases related to antibacterial. This study examines the antibacterial activity of ethyl acetate fraction and the n-hexane fraction of mango musk leaves on bacteria that cause acne. Experimental research started with plant determination, making extracts and fractions, phytochemical screening, and antibacterial testing against Staphylococcus aureus and Propionibacterium acnes using the disk diffusion method. Covid-19 is a pandemic that has been going on since the pre-pandemic period of the madrasah based pesantren is described in this paper. Researchers at MTs Ali Maksum conducted qualitative research. Triangulation was used to analyze the data gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings showed that the government-mandated online implementation of the direct learning model in pesantren-based madrasahs was successful. Based on evaluation results, there were limitations in the learning process starting from apperception to delivery of material, implementation, follow-up, and development of student competencies, resulting in problems in the next process. Before the pandemic, there was a gradual shift from face-to-face to online learning. It's also possible to combine the two. There are limitations to fully online learning, which is why pesantren-based madrasas consider blended learning as a solution.

Kegiatan Belajar Dari Rumah di masa pandemic Covid-19 membuat para pelajar menghabiskan waktu lebih banyak di depan perangkat teknologi dan internet. Semakin banyak waktu yang dihabiskan di internet, maka semakin besar kemungkinan para pelajar menjadi pelaku maupun korban cyberbullying. Cyberbullying biasanya terjadi karena pengguna internet tidak paham bagaimana tetap membuat diri mereka aman serta kurang memahami etika bermedia sosial yang baik. Hal ini juga dirasakan oleh para pelajar di kota Malang, khususnya SMA Nasional Kota Malang. Tujuan dari abdimas ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan serta pemahaman kepada Pengurus OSIS SMA Nasional mengenai Literasi Media Digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah penyuluhan berupa pemberian materi mengenai cyberbullying dan etika bermedia sosial. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah para pengurus OSIS SMA Nasional Kota Malang memiliki pengetahuan mengenai pencegahan cyberbullying dan literasi bermedia sosial, serta para guru SMA Nasional juga memahami bahwa guru di sekolah memiliki peran penting dalam pencegahan kasus cyberbullying.

Insidensi Diabetes Mellitus (DM) tipe 2 meningkat di Indonesia seiring dengan perubahan pola hidup masyarakat ke arah sedentary lifestyle. DM tipe 2 merupakan penyakit katastrofik karena angka kecacatan dan kematiannya cukup tinggi, serta memerlukan pembiayaan yang besar. Pengelolaan diabetes yang baik perlu melibatkan kemandirian penderita dalam hal diet, aktivitas fisik, pemakaian obat dan pemeriksaan gula darah berkala. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pemberdayaan penderita DM tipe 2 dalam tata kelola penyakit sehingga didapatkan luaran dan kualitas hidup yang lebih baik. Metode yang digunakan adalah edukasi melalui live Instagram, webinar awam dan pelatihan melalui pembentukan Persadia. Persadia (Persatuan Diabetes Indonesia) merupakan organisasi mandiri yang aktif bergerak khususnya di bidang diabetes. Dalam Persadia, penderita DM dapat berinteraksi dengan penderita DM lainnya, tenaga kesehatan dan simpatisan sehingga memberikan dukungan untuk pengelolaan DM yang baik. Kegiatannya meliputi senam rutin tiap minggu, pemeriksaan kesehatan gratis, dan diskusi mengenai diabetes dan penyakit metabolik. Disclosure of Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) has a role in the company, and the broad ISR will lead the company to a positive impact. This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, leverage, and institutional ownership on Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) disclosure with firm size as a moderating variable in companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for the 2014-2019 period. Determination of the sample using the purposive sampling method. The data used are 84 company annual reports. The test analysis method uses Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The study results partially show that profitability, leverage, and institutional ownership do not affect ISR disclosure. Firm size can moderate the effect of leverage on ISR disclosure. Meanwhile, firm size cannot moderate the effect of profitability and institutional ownership on ISR disclosure. Companies with declining or increasing financial conditions cannot motivate companies to make more comprehensive disclosures. Companies with good intentions, of course, will continue to make broader disclosures in financial conditions up or down.

This study discussed the renewal of leadership models in Al-Qur'an-based pesantren. Leadership in pesantren has a major influence on its development and existence. Ibn Abbas Islamic Boarding School is interesting to study because it is modern managed. This is a case study to examine in depth the developed leadership model. The data were collected through observation, documentation, and interview, and analyzed using the Miles Huberman triangulation model, so that the results were in the form of abstractions showing their novelty. Pesantren Ibnu Abbas Klaten is led by a director who acted as a manager as well as mufti and kyai. The director supervises three educational units; the pesantren, the santri, and the school unit, which each led by a chief. Even though a director (or Kyai) has full leadership rights, the "syuro-participative" leadership model is implemented in regular meetings every week, and the deliberation results showing the participation of each existing institution. This indicated that the highest forum is at the leadership meeting, not unilaterally by the Kyai.

The Articulating of H-Rotor is a development of the turbine from H-Darrieus which has a straight blade tilted with the aim of correcting poor self-starting due to the dominance of lift force. How likely is the influence of straight blade slope on turbine performance and it is important to be examined. The aim of this study was to find out the effect of the straight blade slope of the Articulating H-Rotor turbine to increase the self-starting ability. Hydrokinetic turbine experimental test method was carried out in a water channel (flume) using 3 NACA 0018 profile blades with varying inclination angles of 0o (vertical blade), 30o (inflated blade) and -30o (cupped blade). The result indicated that the Articulating H-Rotor hydrokinetic turbine with a blade slope of 0o had a larger RPM value and it was more dominant in working with lift force. The Articulating H-Rotor hydrokinetic turbine with a blade tilted of 30o provides higher torque and increases drag, increasing self-starting for rotation. The shape of the turbine frontal area with a blade slope of 30o was better able to respond the kinetic energy that raised from the flow velocity distribution profile of the water flow. The results of this study can contribute to the design of the tilted blade H-Darrieus turbine.

Despite the adoption of Six-Sigma in different service sectors, its application in the Sales function of a Technology-based Start-up has not been explored. This paper deploys an action research-based study methodology and conducts a thorough analysis of a Technology Start-up company in Indonesia, using Six-Sigma principles and the Define-Measure-Analyse-Improve-Control (DMAIC) approach. Statistical validation of the causes of problems helped to formulate a strategy that may have otherwise not been possible. The results of the study and proposed solutions confirm the potential benefits of adopting Six-Sigma in the Sales function of technology start-ups to reduce, particularly, customer waiting time. The novelty of this research lies in the fact that it applies Six-Sigma in a transactional process such as sales, which earlier studies have not explored in depth. This paper can be employed as a reference for organisations to undertake and guide specific process improvement projects similar to the one presented.

This research aims to describe an entrepreneurship education model carried out in the boarding school which includes the process of instilling independent values, the management, and the obstacles during the implementation of education model. This research employed qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. The participants of this research were the entire stakeholders in Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School Malang. The key informants of this research were the leader of the boarding school, teachers, and the students. The data analysis employed 6P simultaneous stages which include approach, discovery, comprehending, conforming, interpreting, and presenting. The research results show that the implementation of entrepreneurship education which applies double-track education model enables students to prepare them entrepreneurship theory in classroom and allows them to acquire actual practices in carrying out business activities in the real-life context. This model, furthermore, allows students to improve their independent thinking and creativity in carrying out business. However, this program has several obstacles to overcome such as a limited movement of students in accessing technology during the study in the boarding school.

Purwakarta Regency is one of the regencies in West Java Province that plays an essential role in agricultural development. One of the efforts to encourage sustainable agricultural development is by developing potential commodities so that scenarios can be drawn up that are in accordance with the region's potential. Optimum land use scenarios with several constraint targets need to be prepared by considering food needs, ecological sustainability, and farm income. This study aims to identify land available for food commodities and simulate the land use allocation of food commodities in Purwakarta Regency to meet food needs, farm income, and tolerance for erosion. Location quotient index, shift-share analysis, land suitability & capability analysis, and Multiple Goals Programming were used to achieve research objectives. The identified leading commodities are peanuts, cassava, and sweet potato. We suggest 15 classes of land available for optimum land use allocation. Space optimization is organized into four scenarios considering erosion control targets, meeting farmers' minimum incomes, and rice production. The smallest erosion is 13,159 tons/ha/year, while the highest possible income is IDR300,500,000,000. The highest rice production is 202.070 tonsGKP, cassava production is 16,919 tons, sweet potato is 2.014 tons, and peanut production is 531 tons. Achieving production targets can support agricultural development and food security improvement programs through sustainable production improvement. Self-care management is the way to prevent the complication in diabetes. However, adherence to self-care management is low. This study aims to assess the association of personal characteristics, supports the system, including families and community, with the self-care behavior among diabetes patients. A cross-sectional study was used in this research. 158 participants were randomly selected based on the primary health care database in Malang City, Indonesia. There are eight parts of the questionnaire as the instruments in this study. Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the association of all independent variables with self-care behavior as a dependent variable. This study showed that 60.80% of respondents had complications while the less practicing self-care behavior was 46.84%. Furthermore, the ordinal regression logistic showed that duration of DM (OR:4.347, 95%CI 1.671-11.310), illness perception (OR: 0.028, 95%CI 6.090- 51.346), family supports (OR: 3.295, 95%CI 1.325-8.192), and community supports (2.802, 95%CI 1.209-6.493) were associated with self-care behavior among diabetes Mellitus. This finding can support the primary health care to involved family and community around diabetes patients to success the self-care management.

The purpose of this community service is to improve basic computer skills based on the Microsoft Office application for students of SMK Negeri 3 Merauke. This community service method used training with material presentation techniques and questions and answers. The training participants were 34 students of class X Multimedia Department. There were 2 (two) activities carried out, namely: the preparation of a Microsoft office training manual and a questionnaire response to training participants as well as the implementation of basic computer training activities online. The instruments used are response questionnaires and activity documentation. The results of this community service activity indicate that overall each indicator of the response of basic computer training participants is in the 'good' and 'very good' categories. The average percentage of responses is 98.23 which is included in the 'very good' category.

Household waste contributes to the volume of waste. In general, household waste is easily biodegradable and difficult to decompose. Household products that are hard to decompose are generally plastic and plastic bottles predominantly. The difficulty of decomposing household plastic waste requires serious handling, so it is necessary to provide assistance for processing plastic waste into useful creations. One of them becomes ecobric. There are two methods of this activity, namely direct counseling and training. The results obtained after the community service activities were completed was that they were able to improve community skills in processing plastic waste into ecobrics. Furthermore, ecobrics are created into potted plants and other forms of creation. In addition, after this activity is carried out, it can reduce the movement of plastic waste to the final disposal site (TPA), so that the community hopes that this activity will continue to be transmitted to other places to create a clean and free environment from plastic waste.

Abstract Background Sepsis is the leading cause of death worldwide in pediatric populations. Studies in low-resource settings showed that the majority of pediatric patients with sepsis still have a high mortality rate. Methods We retrospectively collected records from 2014 to 2019 of patients who had been diagnosed with sepsis and admitted to PICU in our tertiary hospital. Cox proportional hazard regression modeling was used to evaluate associations between patient characteristics and mortality. Results Overall, 665 patients were enrolled in this study, with 364 (54.7%) boys and 301 (46.3%) girls. As many as 385 patients (57.9%) died during the study period. The median age of patients admitted to PICU were 1.8 years old with interquartile range (IQR) ±8.36 years and the median length of stay was 144 h (1–1896 h). More than half 391 patients (58.8%) had a good nutritional status. Higher risk of mortality in PICU was associated fluid overload percentage of > 10% (HR 9.6, 95% CI: 7.4–12.6), the need of mechanical ventilation support (HR 2.7, 95% CI: 1.6–4.6), vasoactive drugs (HR 1.5, 95% CI: 1.2–2.0) and the presence of congenital anomaly (HR 1.4, 95% CI: 1.0–1.9). On the contrary, cerebral palsy (HR 0.3, 95% CI: 0.1–0.5) and post-operative patients (HR 0.4, 95% CI: 0.3–0.6) had lower mortality. Conclusion PICU mortality in pediatric patients with sepsis is associated with fluid overload percentage of > 10%, the need for mechanical ventilation support, the need of vasoactive drugs, and the presence of congenital anomaly. In septic patients in PICU, those with cerebral palsy and admitted for post-operative care had better survival.

Abstract Background: Exclusive breastfeeding has benefits as a natural contraceptive method, the Lactational Amenorrhea Method (LAM). The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in East Java Province in 2018 only reached 74.3% and coverage of active family planning was still at 75.3% (Health Office of East Java, 2018). The results of a preliminary study of 10 Children’s Health Specialist Doctor Education Program of Airlangga University showed exclusive breastfeeding, but only 20% managed to menstruate for more than 6 months. This study aims to determine the description of exclusive breastfeeding as LAM at Dr Soetomo Hospital Surabaya. Method: This type of research uses a descriptive method to mix method research with survey analytic methods. The number of samples used was 16 people with simple random sampling technique. Results: PPDS who got LAM success during exclusive breastfeeding, by giving on demand and frequency more than 8 times was only 37.5%, while the remaining 62.5% PPDS failed to achieve LAM. The inhibiting factors are not being able to give immediately, time for pumping, and inadequate rest. The support received by PPDS is tolerance for pumping, high determination of exclusive breastfeeding, and family support. How to give breast milk is to breastfeed directly and by bottle. The reason for using the bottle is to work. The number of PPDS with amenorrhea duration 1-3 months was 7 people, and only 1 PPDS experienced amenorrhea for 12 months. Conclusion: Nearly half of PPDS have successfully used LAM as a contraceptive.

Tepung Magot dalam pakan unggas tidak hanya dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif sumber protein namun juga diharapkan memiliki efek antibakterial dan immunomodulator. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode in vitro untuk mengetahui efek antimikrobial dan immunomodulator tepung magot. Uji sensitivitas dilakukan dengan metode disc difusi agar, uji aktivitas fagositosis diamati pada makrofag peritoneum mencit Balb-C jantan berumur 8 minggu terhadap Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus), serta uji tantang S. aureus terhadap tepung magot dilihat di bawah scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Data hasil uji sensitivitas dan pengamatan dengan teknik SEM dilaporkan secara deskriptif. Perbedaan aktivitas fagositosis makrofag antar perlakuan diuji dengan analisis varian satu arah dengan uji lanjut honestly significant difference (HSD) Berdasar hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa tepung memiliki 38,22% kandungan protein dengan profil asam amino yang lengkap. Kandungan asam amino tertinggi pada tepung magot adalah (7685,84 mg/kg), aspartat (5864,19 mg/kg), leusin (5034,31 mg/kg). Asam lemak esensial yang terkandung pada tepung magot adalah asam laurat (13,39%) Hasil uji sensitivitas diketahui tepung magot tidak memberikan zona hambat pada bakteri S. aureus. Introduksi tepung magot pada fagositosis secara in vitro dapat meningkatkan kinerja makrofag dengan perannya seperti opsonin berdasar pengamatan SEM. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tepung magot potensial digunakan sebagai imunomodulator natural dan pengganti protein pakan unggas.

All the time the coastline has always changes, the change is abrasion or accretion. Changes in the coastline not only have an impact on physical conditions but also affect the socio-economic conditions of the community. This study aims to determine the impact of abrasion on the socio-economic conditions of the community in Kedung District, Jepara. The method used is the descriptive quantitative, a combination of LVI (Livelihood Vulnerability Index) and LVI-IPCC (Livelihood Vulnerability Index - Intergovernmental Panel of Climate Change). The data used is the result of questionnaires distributed to household. The results of this study indicate that the most influential social impact is the emergence of anxiety and can affect social conditions between communities. While the impact on the economy can be seen in the value of LVI 0.28 which means it is quite vulnerable, and the value of LVI-IPCC 0.037 which means quite vulnerable. Many of community who choose to have side jobs to fulfill their daily needs, even changing their livelihoods from the coastal sector to non-coastal sectors such as trading, labor, and etc.

The Covid-19 virus is transmitted from human to human through close contact with infected people through their respiratory droplets. A person can also be infected by touching an object contaminated with SARS-CoV-2 and then followed by reaching the eyes, nose, or mouth. Implementing the health protocol is necessary to reduce the number of virus transmissions. In addition, to increase the community's immune against Covid-19, WHO and the government have been developing a vaccination program. However, the recommendation from the latest research stated that people still have to obey the health protocol even after being vaccinated. The purpose of this community service was to help the government to increase people's understanding of the importance of implying health protocols, even after vaccination, to suppress Covid-19 cases. The method used is by holding an online event called a Webinar. It followed by a statement with audiences to commit to implementing the health protocol led by the Rector of Andalas University, then called a SIAGA SAKATO declaration. The activity began with a pre-test questionnaire for initial information collection, followed by education about Covid-19 prevention from the experts to the 512 students. The activity ended with the final data collection using a posttest questionnaire to test the student knowledge after the education. Paired t-test analysis showed a significant increase in student commitment after attending the Webinar (P≤0.05). Based on these results, the Webinar increases students' understanding of the importance of the health protocol in reducing the Covid-19 cases.

Potatoes are upland vegetable crops, which is the superior plant of Tosari District, Pasuruan Regency. Tosari potatoes are the largest contributor to production in East Java. The farmer profession is the main profession in this area, inherited from the family. The land area owned is inherited from the family. The agricultural land area varies, but still found farmers with a land area of more than one hectare. In this study, respondents were divided into two groups, namely farmers with a land area of ≥ 1 hectare called cluster I and respondent farmers with a land area of ≤ 0.5 hectares called cluster II. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of production inputs on potato production, to analyze the level of technical efficiency of potato farmers with different land areas, to analyze the factors affecting the level of technical efficiency. The study was conducted by interviewing 49 respondent farmers in Cluster I and 70 respondent farmers in Cluster II. This study uses the Cobb Douglas production function, the analytical methods used are the Stochastic Analysis Frontier (SFA) and the Tobit regression analysis. The results showed that the production inputs that had a significant effect on production in cluster I were seeds, fertilizers, and manure, while in cluster II were fertilizers and pesticides. The level of technical efficiency of farmers who have a land area of ≥ 1 hectare is greater than farmers with a land area of ≤0.5 hectares. The land area has a significant effect on the level of technical efficiency.

Abstrak Ayam broiler, layer dan puyuh (Coturnix japonica) adalah jenis unggas yang semakin populer untuk dipelihara karena performa yang baik seperti produksi yang cepat, dan kemudahan perawatan, baik untuk penghasil daging dan telur di berbagai negara Asia dan di dunia. Unggas sering dipelihara dengan menggunakan jagung (Zea mays) sebagai sumber energi utama dalam ransum. Namun, dalam produksinya, jagung sering menghadapi masalah yang melibatkan hama arthropoda seperti Ngengat Penggerek Jagung Asia (Ostrinia furnacalis), dan oleh karena itu, teknologi rekayasa dalam bidang pertanian telah banyak mengembangkan banyak galur jagung transgenik yang telah ditanam dan dibiakkan agar tahan terhadap hama ini. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja jagung transgenik sebagai pakan, keamanan dan kesetaraan gizi pada unggas baik sebagai penghasil daging maupun telur. Hasil review, menunjukkan bahwa di berbagai penelitian, tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara parameter produksi pada ayam pedaging, petelur dan puyuh yang diberi pakan jagung non-transgenik konvensional dan transgenik. Kesamaan ini terlihat pada jenis unggas pedaging dan petelur. Penelitian untuk menganalisis efek jagung transgenik pada parameter komposisi kuning telur, dan komposisi otot ayam pedaging masih perlu dilakukan. Hasil kajian ini juga mengamati bahwa tidak ada gen dan protein transgenik yang tersisa setelah pemotongan unggas di dalam otot dan jaringan, yang menunjukkan bahwa masalah keamanan gen dan protein transgenik tidak ditransfer dari jagung ke produk unggas. Kata kunci: Broiler; GMO; Kualitas daging; Pakan; Produksi telur Abstract Broiler, Layer and Japanese Quail (Coturnix japonica) are species of poultry that have become increasingly popular to raise due to their performance such as fast production, and ease of care, either for meat and egg producers in many Asian countries and worldwide. As poultry, they are often raised using corn (Zea mays) as the primary energy source in the ration. However, corn often faces problems involving arthropod pests such as the Asian Corn Borer Moth (Ostrinia furnacalis), and as such, agricultural engineering technology has developed many strains of transgenic corn that have been grown and bred to be resistant to these pests. This article aimed to determine the transgenic corn performance as feed, safety and nutritional equivalence on poultry (quails and chicken) for meat and egg producer. The review determined that across various studies, there were no significant differences between production parameters in the broiler, layer and quails fed a conventional non-GMO diet and entirely transgenic corn. This similarity was seen in both meat and layer types. Though, research still needs to be done to assess transgenic corn's effects on parameters of yolk composition and breast muscle composition. The study also observed that no transgenic genes and proteins remained after the slaughter of the poultry in the muscle and tissues, indicating the safety concerns of transgenic genes and proteins not being transferred from the corn to poultry. Background The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on paediatric populations varied between high-income countries (HICs) versus low-income to middle-income countries (LMICs). We sought to investigate differences in paediatric clinical outcomes and identify factors contributing to disparity between countries.Methods The International Severe Acute Respiratory and Emerging Infections Consortium (ISARIC) COVID-19 database was queried to include children under 19 years of age admitted to hospital from January 2020 to April 2021 with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis. Univariate and multivariable analysis of contributing factors for mortality were assessed by country group (HICs vs LMICs) as defined by the World Bank criteria.Results A total of 12 860 children (3819 from 21 HICs and 9041 from 15 LMICs) participated in this study. Of these, 8961 were laboratory-confirmed and 3899 suspected COVID-19 cases. About 52% of LMICs children were black, and more than 40% were infants and adolescent. Overall in-hospital mortality rate (95% CI) was 3.3% [=(3.0% to 3.6%), higher in LMICs than HICs (4.0% (3.6% to 4.4%) and 1.7% (1.3% to 2.1%), respectively). There were significant differences between country income groups in intervention profile, with higher use of antibiotics, antivirals, corticosteroids, prone positioning, high flow nasal cannula, non-invasive and invasive mechanical ventilation in HICs. Out of the 439 mechanically ventilated children, mortality occurred in 106 (24.1%) subjects, which was higher in LMICs than HICs (89 (43.6%) vs 17 (7.2%) respectively). Pre-existing infectious comorbidities (tuberculosis and HIV) and some complications (bacterial pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome and myocarditis) were significantly higher in LMICs compared with HICs. On multivariable analysis, LMIC as country income group was associated with increased risk of mortality (adjusted HR 4.73 (3.16 to 7.10)).Conclusion Mortality and morbidities were higher in LMICs than HICs, and it may be attributable to differences in patient demographics, complications and access to supportive and treatment modalities.

This research is entitled “Construction of Nationalism Identity in Baduy Society Based on Pikukuh and Buyut.” This is a library research on the philosophical life of the Baduy, a traditional community in Indonesia. Analysis was conducted using interpretation, inductive and deductive, internal coherence, and holistica approaches. This research resulted is some conclusions. First, the Baduy community was found to uphold a form of ethno- nationalism which is based on Pikukuh and Buyut with a strong focus on the meaning of leadership, communal life, and observance of laws. However, this ethno-nationalism does not conflict with the state nationalism upheld by the Indonesian government. Indeed, seba shows that there has always been good relationship between the Baduy people (which uphold ethno-nationalism) and the Indonesian government (which upholds state nationalism). Secondly, the “imagined” nationalism in the Baduy community is founded based on traditional bond, in which case nationalism is not separated from tradition. Consequently, the values are oriented towards basic rationality in order to construct an identity of nationalism unique to the Baduy community. However, at the same time, instrumental rationality and the value-oriented rationality have the same role, in that they serve to construct the meaning of nationalism in the Baduy community. All of these factors result in a harmonious relationship between ethno-nationalism upheld by the the Baduy community and state nationalism upheld by the Indonesian government.

Child with left renal agenesis fulfill the diagnostic criteria for chronic kidney disease due to its structural abnormalities that lasted for more than three months. It is important to monitored the disease progression and also growth, development and quality of life in children with chronic disease. Management of other risk factors that can accelerate disease progression must be carried out comprehensively. The patient's was 9 months old girl with stage I chronic kidney disease and also having recurrent complex urinary tract infections with left renal agenesis. The interventions was to identify other abnormalities of the urinary tract and syndromic disorders, prevention of urinary tract infection (UTI) recurrence, prevention of renal injury, renal scaring and dietary education. After 18 months of observation there was no urinary tract abnormality in imaging results, there was one episode of mild recurrent UTI, no renal injury and there was no sign of renal scaring. The final outcome was no significant decrease in glomerular filtration rate (GFR), growth and development was good and good quality of life. The immunizations was given as scheduled. Monitoring and multidisciplinary intervention of prognostic variables such as urinary tract and syndromic disorders, recurrence UTI, renal injury, renal scaring and diet in children with chronic kidney disease are important for optimal outcome. No decrease of GFR, good growth, development and optimal quality of life and also knowing the progression of chronic kidney disease was the final outcomes of the intervention.

The world is facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0, where everything is connected to machines. In realizing human resources that are ready for the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, the government makes several efforts through education. Character is one of the cornerstones of the progress of a nation. Character is not inherited from birth but needs to be nurtured to grow into the nation's character. The character can be formed through school education in geography subjects. Learning geography will introduce students to the area where they are located. Thus, geography can develop religious, nationalist, independent, cooperative, and integrity characters who love the homeland. This study aims to determine the character of students in the development of character-based learning media. This research was conducted at the Geography MGMP of SMA in Langsa City and East Aceh Regency, totalling 27 teachers. Data collection techniques are interviews and information on the types of learning media on geography material in high school and the characters needed to study geography. The research results are (1) Teachers choose 83% of high school geography materials that require video as a learning medium. Videos are considered capable of providing explanations in the form of images with movement and sound. Thus, videos can help students understand geography material; (2) Interactive multimedia is a suitable medium to foster independent character in students. This media is interactive where the media will present material or information according to what students want; therefore, teachers must develop interactive multimedia for their students; (3) Teachers have the same difficulty in developing geography learning media. Background and Aim: Subclinical mastitis (SCM) is a disease that frequently attacks lactating dairy cows and possibly decreases production, causing economic losses to farmers. This study aimed to define the prevalence of SCM and risk factor-associated related management practice by dairy farmers in East Java, Indonesia. Materials and Methods: The milk sample per quarter of individual lactating Friesian–Holstein cows (592 samples) was collected from 148 cows from 62 selected farms in the region with high dairy cattle populations in Malang, Sidoarjo, Mojokerto, Probolinggo, Pasuruan, Lumajang, Jember, and Banyuwangi. SCM determination was performed using the California mastitis test. A survey including field observation and interviews with farmers was conducted to find out the management practices of the selected farms. The analysis of risk factors was conducted by multinomial regression using the IBM SPSS version 26.0 (IBM SPSS Statistics, Chicago, USA). Results: In addition, 68.18% and 66.72% at the cow and quarter levels, respectively, of the lactating dairy cows examined had SCM. In multinomial regression, four variables were significantly given impact in association with the SCM prevalence in identifying related lactation stage (odds ratio [OR]: 1-2 months=5.67, 2-6 months=9.435), teat wiping after milking (OR=42.197), house cleanliness (OR: dirty=0.120, moderate=0.527), and location (regencies) of raising the cows (OR: Sidoarjo=0.076, Mojokerto=0.165, Jember=1.210, Probolinggo=3.449, Lumajang=1.638, Malang=1.210, and Pasuruan=0.681). Conclusion: The SCM prevalence in East Java is relatively high and a threat to the dairy industry's performance. This study found a significant association with SCM that needs to be considered in the practice of management to prevent and control SCM. However, the finding also suggested that hygienic management practices performed by farmers need to be improved to reduce SCM incidents.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan media crocodile physics terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika materi usaha dan energi di SMAN 1 Bengkulu Tengah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Quasi Experiment. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang sebelumnya telah diuji normalitas dan homogenitasnya sehingga ditetapkan siswa kelas X IPA 3 sebagai kelas uji coba (eksperimen) dan kelas X IPA 1 sebagai kelas kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan populasi dan sampel serta tes untuk tingkat penguasaan konsep fisika. Analisis data diuji menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment. Uji prasyarat analisis data berupa uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Berdasarkan analisa data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang besar dari penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan media Crocodile Physics terhadap penguasaan konsep fisika materi usaha dan energi Di SMAN 1 Bengkulu Tengah. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil uji t dimana nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel (7,77 > 1,99 untuk ) dan (7,77 > 1,66 untuk ) serta uji effec size sebesar 1,94 yang masuk dalam kriteria besar. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan media Crocodile Physics memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap kemampuan penguasaan konsep fisika siswa. Fruit fly Bactrocera spp. is one of important pests in chili pepper. The use of methyl eugenol (ME) block plus as an attractant in traps is one method of controlling fruit flies populations. This study aims to find out the appropriate formulation of ME block plus formulation in increasing fruit fly catches on chili pepper. The experiment was carried out from January to April 2018 in Lembang Village, Lembang District, West Bandung Regency. The experiment used a randomized block design consists of eight treatments and three replications. The treatments tested were ME 2 ml was applied to all treatments using cotton; block; chili essence 4 ml block; 4 ml block of guava essence; orange essence 4 ml block; starfruit essence 4 ml block; mango essence 4 ml block; an attractant block product with the active ingredient ME. Although the results showed that all the treatments tested could not attract female fruit flies, the essence formulation was successful in attracting male fruit flies by 87%. The 4 ml chili essence in the 2 ml ME block formulation was the most effective treatment to increase male fruit fly catches by as much as 377 fruit flies/traps/week specifically the species Bactrocera dorsalis (Hendel), Bactrocera carambolae Drew & Hancock, Bactrocera umbrosa Fabricius, and hybrid fruit flies B. dorsalis x B. carambolae.
