A description is given of the design of a pulse type hopper dispenser for feeding mixtures of fine powders, powders containing fiber inclusions, or powders of high moisture content. The essential feature of the operation of the dispenser is that the powder mixture is periodically disturbed by the carrier gas, which is directed by means of a closing device and a T-pipe into the powder-containing vessel of the dispenser.
