Článek navazuje na současnou diskuzi o podobě výuky regionální geografie, jejíž starší pojetí vede k redukci problémově zaměřených témat typických i pro politickou geografii. Cíli článku bylo pomocí obsahové analýzy zjistit, jaká politicko-geografická témata se vyskytují ve školních vzdělávacích programech českých gymnázií v předmětech geografie, dějepis a základy společenských věd a jaké je postavení geografie ve výuce politicko-geografických témat ve srovnání se zmíněnými předměty. Zjištění poukazují na nevhodné rozdělení témat mezi několik předmětů, které mají odlišný přístup k jejich výuce a které nemusí studentům zprostředkovat geografickou orientaci v prostorových souvislostech a mezioborovou interpretaci problémů. Téma evropské integrace naopak považujeme za příklad ideálního multidisciplinárního pojetí výuky, které by mělo být reflektováno už v samotných kurikulárních dokumentech. Závěr nabízí zamyšlení nad řešením aktuálního stavu. The article follows up a contemporary discussion of the form of regional geography teaching, whose older concept leads to the reduction of problem-oriented topics typical of political geography, too. The aim of the article was to find out by the content analysis what political geography topics occur in school educational programs of Czech grammar schools in such subjects as geography, history and basics of social sciences, and what is the position of geography in teaching political geography topics in comparison with the mentioned subjects. The findings point out an inappropriate division of topics between several subjects, which have a different approach to their teaching and which do not have to provide students with geographical orientation in spatial context and interdisciplinary interpretation of problems. On the contrary, the issue of European integration is considered an example of ideal multidisciplinary concept of teaching, which should be reflected in the curricular documents themselves. The conclusion offers reflections on the solutions to the current situation.

Syfte Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur de lärosäten i Sverige som erbjuder ämneslärarprogrammet för gymnasiet med ingång idrott och hälsa, tolkar och tillämpar det centrala innehållet spänningsreglering och mental träning från kursen idrott och hälsa 1. Genom intervjuer med utvalda representanter från lärosätena samt en genomförd dokumentanalys av relevanta dokument ämnar vi att finna svaren på följande frågeställningar: 1. Vad finns i lärosätenas utbildning kopplat till det centrala innehållet spänningsreglering och mental träning? 2. Vilka kunskaper ska studenterna få med sig inom det centrala innehållet spänningsreglering och mental träning efter genomförd lärarutbildning? 3. Hur ser diskursen ut om prestation och hälsa i relation till begreppen spänningsreglering och mental träning? 4. Anser lärosätena att spänningsreglering och mental träning är relevanta begrepp inom utbildningen? Metod I den första delen av uppsatsen användes en dokumentanalys utifrån Bergs (2003) modell för att undersöka utvalda kursplaner. En intervju genomfördes med vardera representant från lärosätena och kodades därefter med stöd av Watts Boolsens (2007) innehållsanalys. Tolkningarna gjordes med hjälp av Lindes läroplansanalys (2012), vilket var studiens teoretiska ramverk. Urvalet i intervjuerna var studierektor eller närliggande yrkestitel, från de sju lärosäten som erbjuder ämneslärarutbildning för gymnasiet med ingång idrott och hälsa samt utvalda kursplaner och styrdokument från lärosätena och Skolverket. Resultat Lärosätena anser att det är svårt att tolka begreppen. Spänningsreglering är det begrepp som används mest frekvent medan begreppet mental träning ofta väljs bort till förmån för andra begrepp. Hälsa utifrån ett salutogent synsätt är en gemensam utgångspunkt vid alla lärosäten, varje representant använde något av verktygen yoga, tai-chi eller aktiviteter ute i naturmiljö i deras utbildning vilket går i linje med Skolverkets bedömningsstöd. Användandet och inställning till idrottspsykologiska metoder ser olika ut bland lärosätena, framförallt prestationsinriktad idrottspsykologi kopplat till mental träning är en vattendelare. Slutligen anser lärosätena enhetligt att ett förtydligande av begreppen krävs, på grund av faktorer kopplat till samhällets förändring samt en otydlighet i att begreppen är utskrivna i centralt innehåll men inte återfinns som ett kunskapskrav vilket Skolverket har ansvar över. Slutsatser Mental träning är ett begrepp som lärosätena inte har tagit till sig i stor utsträckning vid utbildningarna, vilket syns i kursplanernas innehåll samt i representanternas svar. En kommunikation finns mellan lärosätena kring flera undervisningsområden men inte om det centrala innehållet spänningsreglering och mental träning, samtidigt som att representanterna uttrycker en osäkerhet i tolkningen av begreppen, vilket vi har identifierat som ett problem. Det finns en diskurs om prestation och hälsa i relation till spänningsreglering och mental träning, representanternas har olika åsikter gällande användning av begreppen. En majoritet anser att de kan arbeta med prestationsinriktning om innehållet kontextualiseras till skolans miljö, men trots det syns det inte i nuläget i stor utsträckning i kursplanerna på utbildningarna. Aim The aim of the thesis is to investigate how the universities in Sweden that offer the PE-teacher program for upper secondary school, interpret and apply the central content of tension adjustment and mental training for the course physical education and health 1. Through interviews with selected representatives from the universities and a document analysis of relevant documents, we aim to find the answers to the following questions: 1. What is in the universities education linked to the central content of tension adjustment1 and mental training? 2. What knowledge should the students acquire linked to the central content tension adjustment and mental training after completed education?3. What does the discourse look like about performance and health in relation to the concepts of tension adjustment and mental training? 4. Does the universities think tension adjustment and mental training are considered as relevant concepts through the education? Method In the first part of the essay, a document analysis based on Berg's (2003) model was used to examine selected curriculums and course plans. For the main part of the essay, an interview guide was created based on a qualitative open-ended form of interviews (Hassmèn & Hassmèn, 2008). An interview were conducted with each representative from the universities and were then coded with the support of Watts Boolsen's (2007) content analysis. The interpretations were made with the help of Linde's curriculum analysis (2012). The sample for the interviews was the director of studies or related professional titles at the seven universities that offer PE-teacher education for upper secondary school, as well as selected syllabus and governing documents from the universities and the The Swedish National Agency for Education. Results The universities consider it difficult to interpret the concepts. Tension adjustment is the term most frequently used while the term mental training is questioned and is often excluded in favor of other concepts. The work with health from a salutogenic approach is common at all universities, each representative use the tools yoga, tai-chi or activities in the environment in their education, which is in line with The Swedish National Agency for Education. The use and attitude to sport psychology methods looks different among the universities, and then above all performance-oriented sports psychology methods linked to mental training is a watershed. Finally, the universities unanimously believe that a clarification of the conceptis required, due to factors like changes in the society and the current unclear content in Skolverkets central content but which is not included as a knowledge requirement. Conclusions Mental training is not a concept that the universities have adopted much in their educations, based on the the representatives' answers and in the curriculum. There is a communication between the universities how they work within other teaching areas, but not about this and at the same time the representatives express an uncertainty in the interpretation of the concepts, which we have identified as a problem. There is a discourse in performance and health in relation to tension adjustment and mental training, the representatives have different opinions regarding the use of terms. The majority of the representatives believe that it is possible to work with performance focus if the content is contextualized to the school. But right now it ́s not a big part because it ́s not included in the curriculum of the universities.

Agribusiness is vital for economic development. However, in recent years there have been a series of changes and new challenges to the sector, such as meeting new and greater demands of the population, caring for the environment, new forms of distribution and marketing of products, among others. These factors have led to a growing demand for professionals in agribusiness with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, values and capacities to face the growing and increasingly complex challenges of the sector. In this sense, it is unknown if the universities are training professionals in agribusiness with the skills that are required, so the purpose of this research was to analyze curricular documents of agribusiness careers, through curricular analysis, to know if the degrees prepare their students with the skills that employers demand. It was detected that there is a series of skills and values that the environment demands and are not promoted to students. In addition, bachelor's degrees impart specialized technical knowledge that is little valued by employers. It is concluded that there are weaknesses in the curricular contents of agribusiness careers. The implication for agribusiness careers in Mexico is to find ways to provide their students with the set of characteristics sought by employers.

It is known that tourism, as a social phenomenon and economic activity, represents a significant development impetus, because through its activities, in addition to the already known multiplicative functions, it fulfills social, health-related, cultural, and other roles, i.e., it benefits both tourist visitors and the local population, that is, the domicile environments within which it develops. It is especially important to develop special interest tourism (SIT), and the countries that aim to develop such forms of tourism should opt for a strategic turnaround and new ways of thinking. One of the most important forms of SIT is cultural tourism. To develop it, a broad strategic platform and a multidisciplinary and multisectoral approach are needed. This paper investigates the segment of higher education that educates experts on the needs of cultural tourism by providing an overview of study programs in the field of culture and tourism in the Republic of Croatia. The Croatian experience is researched and analyzed through an assessment and critical review of the existing study programs in the field of culture and tourism in the Republic of Croatia. The paper discusses the issue of cultural tourism within the context of growing globalization and refers to education for the development of cultural tourism based on the principles of sustainability and resilience. A critical analysis indicates that the development and dynamization of adaptive curriculum changes, the development of new study programs of an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary nature, as well as the cooperation on international projects and research conducted with partner institutions within the country and abroad, are imposed as strategic priorities in the development of regional educational institutions which simultaneously conform to the needs of the market and sustainable development. This contributes to the contextualization of curriculum development as social constructs. The authors of the paper aim to encourage scientists and policymakers to a broader and more complex view of this important issue - education for tourism and culture of the 21st century. In that sense, the authors plead for the development and dynamization of adaptive curriculum changes, as well as the development of new study programs of an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary nature.

Ökonomische Bildung soll Jugendliche zu ‹mündigen Wirtschaftsbürgern› erziehen und sie zur Bewältigung ökonomisch geprägter Lebenssituationen befähigen. Aufgrund des föderalistischen Bildungssystems der Schweiz ist zu vermuten, dass sich die curriculare Ausgestaltung der ökonomischen Bildung zwischen den Schulstufen und Schulformen erheblich unterscheidet. Dieser Beitrag untersucht die Lehrpläne verschiedener Bildungsgänge auf der Sekundarstufe II in der Deutschschweiz mittels einer Dokumentenanalyse. Es zeigt sich ein heterogenes Bild bezüglich Stundentafel, Strukturierung der Fächer/Lernbereiche, Formulierung der Bildungsziele sowie Auswahl und Gewichtung von Lerninhalten. Ein schulstufen- und schulformübergreifendes Kerncurriculum scheint sinnvoll und notwendig, um eine kompetenzorientierte, multidisziplinäre und lebenssituationale ökonomische Bildung zu ermöglichen. English version Economic Education at Upper Secondary School Level in German-speaking Switzerland: A Comparative Curricula Analysis regarding Educational Goals and Learning Contents Economic education shall form young people to responsible ‹economic citizens› and enable them to handle economic-characterised life situations. Due to Switzerland’s federal education system, it is assumed that the curricular design of economic education varies substantially between school level and school types. This article examines the arrangement of economic education in curricula of various educational programmes at upper secondary school level in German-speaking Switzerland by document analysis. The picture arising is heterogenous regarding timetable, structure of learning fields, formulation of educational goals as well as selection and weighting of learning contents. La presente Tesis Doctoral aborda, a través de cinco trabajos de investigación, la situación del italiano como lengua de trabajo del Grado de Traducción e Interpretación en España a través de la descripción y análisis de los planes de estudios y guías docentes de las universidades que ofrecen esta lengua dentro de dicha titulación. De este modo, en primer lugar, se obtuvo información acerca de su presencia en los distintos centros donde se imparte el Grado de Traducción e Interpretación en España a través del análisis de los distintos planes de formación, pudiendo asimismo justificar la necesidad de análisis en torno a este perfil formativo. Este análisis panorámico ha permitido, además, concretar varias características del currículo formativo del traductor de italiano y el modo de abordaje de las asignaturas que forman parte de él en los distintos itinerarios ofrecidos por cada uno de los centros que ofrecen dicha lengua. Por otro lado, y a través del análisis de las guías docentes, hemos ahondado en varios aspectos específicos del currículo formativo en cuestión: la valoración de los distintos recursos recomendados en las guías docentes, la caracterización de su alfabetización informática o la implantación de contenidos de carácter cultural dentro de este perfil formativo. This overview has also made possible to specify several characteristics of the Italian translator’s training curriculum and the way in which the subjects included in it are approached in the different itineraries offered by each of the centres in which this language can be studied. On the other hand, and through the analysis of the teaching guides, we have delved into several specific aspects of the training curriculum in question: the assessment of the various resources recommended in the teaching guides, the characterization of their computer literacy or the implementation of contents of a cultural nature within this training profile. Questa Tesi di Dottorato affronta la situazione dell’italiano come lingua di lavoro all’interno del Corso di Laurea in Traduzione e Interpretariato in Spagna attraverso cinque lavori di ricerca, descrivendo e analizzando i curricula e le guide didattiche delle università che offrono questa lingua nei loro corsi di Laurea. Così, in primo luogo, abbiamo potuto ottenere informazioni sulla presenza della lingua italiana nei diversi Atenei che offrono il Corso di Laurea in Traduzione e Interpretariato in Spagna attraverso l’analisi dei diversi piani di formazione, in modo che è stato possibile giustificare la necessità di studiare questo profilo formativo. Questa panoramica ha anche permesso di specificare alcune caratteristiche del curriculo formativo del traduttore italiano e il modo in cui le materie in esso contenute vengono affrontate nei diversi indirizzi proposti da ciascuna delle università che offrono questa lingua. D’altronde, e attraverso l’analisi delle guide didattiche, abbiamo approfondito alcuni aspetti specifici del curriculo formativo in questione: la valutazione delle diverse risorse consigliate nelle guide didattiche, la caratterizzazione delle diverse componenti della loro competenza strumentale o l’implementazione di contenuti di natura culturale all’interno di questo profilo formativo.

El presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster muestra el itinerario llevado a cabo, a lo largo de los últimos meses, por parte del profesorado de un centro educativo para realizar las mejoras necesarias en el Ciclo Formativo de Dietética. El trabajo comienza presentando la situación inicial del centro educativo y las dificultades encontradas durante el primer año de impartición. Seguidamente se analizan las acciones de mejora que se pueden efectuar en el próximo curso junto con un estudio curricular profundo. Este análisis amplio tiene como objetivo identificar los conceptos que presentan duplicidades, determinar los apartados obsoletos y añadir al temario los avances científicos y técnicos en el mundo de la alimentación y de la industria alimentaria. Finalmente, el trabajo concluye con una propuesta de planificación de los créditos y una sugerencia de horario lectivo para ambos cursos que responda a las necesidades detectadas previamente.

This thesis systematically examines the degree programmes in the field of food science and technology offered by Swiss universities of applied sciences and the federal institutes of technology. Universities and universities of applied sciences educate qualified professionals for the economy, academia, and society. Due to the continuously changing needs of the labour market, those institutions have to develop their degree programmes in a constant and circular process, the curriculum value chain. This thesis proposes a method to convert the qualitative statements of the course descriptions into a quantitative and comprehensive evaluation on specific aspects of the curricula, thereby identifying the main differences in the curricula structure and content. Moreover, it relates these differences to the institutional factors shaping the examined institutions. Vad var viktiga existentiella frågor för 11-åringar i Sverige 1970 och vad är viktiga existentiella frågor för dagens 11 åringar? Dessa frågor, samt frågan om hur skolan svarar upp mot barns existentiella funderingar handlar en studie, som vi som skrivit det här kapitlet arbetar med.

The fourth industrial revolution is demanding for new competences, thus requiring curricula redesign. A comprehensive analysis of current curricula contributes for the design of the new foreseen curricula. According to Hoffman (1999, p. 283): “the design of learning programs may be based on the inputs needed or the outputs demanded”. Thus, curriculum analysis is helpful to identify aspects that are working and those that need a change (Wolf, Hill, & Evers, 2006). This purpose is crucial in the context of Industry 4.0, in order to prepare future engineers to face the challenges of their practice. Considering that in Europe, in general, formal curriculum level presents the structural aspects (e.g. hours and number of courses) and the learning outcomes of each course, it is possible to identify the areas of knowledge and the competences students are expected to develop. This paper aims to make a curriculum analysis, based on areas of knowledge and learning outcomes. This was based on a process exploring information from the formal level of curriculum that can be replicated in other contexts. Additionally, the process was applied to fourteen European Industrial Engineering master programs. The results show that there is a high level of diversity regarding main areas of knowledge and technical competences of each program. Moreover, it showed an enormous lack of attention in terms of transversal competences in all programs.

The principles of computer skills have been included in primary and secondary educated since the early 2000s, and the reform of curricula is related to the development of IT. Therefore, curricula should reflect the latest technological trends and needs of society. The development of a curriculum involves the subjective judgment of a few experts or professors to extract knowledge from several similar documents. More objective extraction needs to be based on standardized terminology, and professional terminology can help build content frames for organizing curricula. The purpose of this study is to develop a smart system for extracting terms from the body of computer science (CS) knowledge and organizing knowledge areas. The extracted terms are composed of semantically similar knowledge areas, using the word2vec model. We analyzed a higher-education CS standards document and compiled a dictionary of technical terms with a hierarchical clustering structure. Based on the developed terminology dictionary, a specialized system is proposed to enhance the efficiency and objectivity of terminology extraction. The analysis of high school education courses in India and Israel using the technical term extraction system found that (1) technical terms for Software Development Fundamentals were extracted at a high rate in entry-level courses, (2) in advanced courses, the ratio of technical terms in the areas of Architecture and Organization, Programming Languages, and Software Engineering areas was high, and (3) electives that deal with advanced content had a high percentage of technical terms related to information systems.

A leading trend in the development of higher education in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland makes emphasis on preparing pre-school educational specalists for universities.It has been identified that the higher educational establishments and university centres in UK and Northern Ireland provide training for pre-school educational professionals.As a result of a comparative analysis of the curriculum of the leading universities in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, it can by stated that the possibility of implementing individual curriculum in the higher educational establishments of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is ensured by a system of curriculum-building. The analysis of the curriculum blocks has been presented.It has been shown the ratio of the character syllabuses blocks of the UK and Northern Ireland universities.We have looked through the curriculum for preparation of pre-school education bachelors at the universities, such as Middlesex University, Birmingham City University, University of West Scotland, Nottingham Trent University and Welsh Swansea University to analyze the constituent curricula and compare them.According to the analysis of the curriculum for preparing pre-school bachelors at UK and Northern Ireland universities, the country’s higher education system is characterized by flexibility, especially since the chosen study and subjects can by changed. That is why, the conditions for studying in higher education establishments in the country are created according to the individual plan, which, in our opinion, is a progressive idea of the British experience, which is desirable to introduce in the educational space of Ukraine., У результаті порівняльного аналізу навчальних планів провідних університетів Сполученого Королівства Великої Британії та Північної Ірландії встановлено, що можливість реалізації індивідуальних навчальних планів у ЗВО забезпечується системою їх побудови за модульно-блоковою підготовкою. Nota-se, que na atualidade, as mídias como TV, revista, jornal e Internet, diariamente têm como manchetes questões sobre a sexualidade, tais como contracepção, IST, erotização, diversidade de gênero, violência, entre outros. No que tange à diversidade sexual, as pautas sobre homossexualidade e identidade de gênero atravessam contextos sociais e políticos. Assim, o tema sobre a formação acadêmica e diversidade sexual torna-se mais urgente diante de sua crescente visibilidade, devido aos relatos de agressão, violação de direitos, preconceito e discriminação. Logo, para o desenvolvimento dessa pesquisa, foi realizada uma análise qualitativa, objetificando compreender os fundamentos epistemológicos da formação do/a psicólogo/a diante das temáticas ou concepções paradigmáticas de sexo, sexualidade, gênero, identidade, orientação sexual, Educação Sexual entre outros temas referentes à sexualidade, presentes nos currículos atuais dos Cursos de Graduação em Psicologia das Universidades Públicas de Minas Gerais. Explorou-se, através dos documentos, a (in)visibilidade dos temas que abarcam a sexualidade e sua complexidade. Atenta-se ao fato que apenas disciplinas não obrigatórias (optativas) contemplaram a discussão acerca de toda violência física, verbal ou emocional, vivida pelas pessoas LGBTs, subsidiando a compreensão de conceitos, manifestação explícita ou não de preconceito. Refletindo a necessidade iminente de um olhar atento à formação profissional e um maior investimento na disseminação de conhecimento científico sobre o tema da sexualidade, de forma a esclarecer e subsidiar aqueles que, de alguma forma, padecem por motivos de sua sexualidade e que estão sujeitos a sofrer atos de violência. Faz-se necessário marcar e reconhecer como conquista, no tocante à temática da sexualidade na grade curricular de psicologia, a presença em todas as universidades, mesmo que como optativas, de disciplinas específicas em Sexualidade e Gênero. Porém, ressalta-se que as disciplinas optativas estão sujeitas à quantidade de vagas, podendo ou não ser oferecidas a cada semestre. This study aims to understand whether the Psychology scholars feel able to attend professional demands over sexual diversity considering only their academic formation. In the present time, social medias like TV, magazines, newspapers and internet daily present headlines with subjects over sexuality, such as contraceptives, STDs, erotization, gender diversity, violence and others. About sexual diversity, the agenda concerning homosexuality and gender identity is crossed by social and political contexts. The problem of academic formation and sexual diversity becomes more urgent before its increasing visibility, due to the reports of aggression, rights infringement, prejudice and discrimination. So as to develop this investigation we used quantitative analysis seeking to understand the epistemological fundaments of the psychologists' formation confronted with the paradigmatic conceptions of and issues about sex, sexuality, gender, identity, sexual orientation, sex education among other subjects which concern sexuality itself and can be found in the present Psychology curriculums of public universities of Minas Gerais State. Through the documents, the (in) visibility of the themes that cover sexuality and its complexity was explored. Note that only non-compulsory (optional) subjects contemplated the discussion about all violence, physical, verbal or emotional, experienced by LGBT people, supporting the understanding of concepts, explicit or not manifestation of prejudice. Reflecting the imminent need for a close look at vocational training and a greater investment in the dissemination of scientific knowledge on the subject of sexuality, in order to clarify and subsidize those who somehow suffer due to their sexuality and are subject to suffer acts of violence. It is necessary to mark and recognize as a conquest, regarding the theme of sexuality in the curriculum of psychology, the presence in all universities, even as optional, of specific disciplines in Sexuality and Gender. However, it is noteworthy that the optional subjects are subject to the number of places, and may or may not be offered each semester.

One of the purposes of science teacher education is to provide prospective teachers with a solid foundation from which to educate scientifically literate pupils. It is reasonable to assume that curriculum documents provide opportunities as well as imposing restraints on the interpreted, enacted, and experienced curriculum. Hence, we analyse Norwegian national curricula documents for science teacher education and lower secondary education to explore how they communicate in terms of positions on scientific literacy: we explore how knowledge, knowledge processes, and values related to knowledge are configured in the documents. Our analysis is a theoretically driven content analysis inspired by discourse analysis, through which we explore the configuration of the concepts and arguments in use in the curricula. Although both curricula emphasize a similar body of knowledge, the teacher education curriculum lacks the more elaborate approaches to communication and the nature of science (NOS) that are found in the school science curriculum. Moreover, both are concerned with science as enculturation but otherwise provide different arguments for learning science. Since the late 1990s, Indonesian mathematics educators have considered Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), the Dutch approach to mathematics instruction, to be the basis for educational reform. In the National curriculum development, RME has, therefore, been reviewed as among the theoretical references to the curriculum goals and content. In the present study, an analysis of the consistency between RME and the curriculum descriptors and contents in Indonesia is presented. This is supplemented with some comparisons to that in the Netherlands. Findings in this study revealed that while most of RME principles are reflected in the Indonesian curriculum, the descriptions were often very general and less explicit compared to the Dutch curriculum. They were also limited by the content-based approach as well as by the centralized decision making process of the contents to be taught which have been pre-determined at the national level. This study suggests future research to see how the curriculum may influence teachers’ enactment of RME at classroom level.
