Abstract

One of the considerable effects that limit the performance of white quantum dot (QD) light‐emitting diodes (W‐QLEDs) is the Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) among different colored QDs. Here, the FRET mechanisms among QDs are unraveled and how FRET affects the performance of W‐QLEDs is disclosed. The results show that although FRET is beneficial for harvesting the energy of nonradiative excitons, it is unhelpful for the improvement of the total emission quantum yield of bi‐color or tri‐color QDs. Due to the existence of FRET, a large proportion of blue QDs should be incorporated to obtain a balanced white emission, which remarkably deteriorates the efficiency of the white emission. With the developed device structure, the FRET among QDs can be suppressed, and thus, the external quantum efficiency (power efficiency) of the W‐QLEDs is improved from 9.31% to 27.03% (12.18–25.52 lm W−1), representing an improvement factor of 2.9 (2.1) compared with that of the conventional W‐QLEDs. Abstract

Defects passivation strategy for the atop perovskite films is widely investigated, while the buried interface between the tin oxide electron transport layer and the perovskite active layer should gain more attention since the interfacial strains and surface hydroxyl are inevitable during the fabrication process which would affect the efficiency and stability of the fabricated perovskite devices. Herein, the CsF interlayer between SnO2 and perovskite film is adopted to release the interfacial strain and decrease the surface hydroxyl through the atomic interaction and chemical doping. Furthermore, the CsF can tailor the energy level of SnO2 for a more favorable alignment to reduce the energy loss and improve charge extraction. Correspondingly, the perovskite photovoltaic devices with the efficiency of 23.13% are achieved. Moreover, CsF‐doped devices demonstrate enhanced stability, which could maintain 87% of its initial efficiency after 1000 h under environmental storage. Abstract

Transparent electrodes (TEs) are important components in organic optoelectronic devices. ITO is the mostly applied TE material, which is costly and inferior in mechanical performance, and could not satisfy the versatile need for the next generation of transparent optoelectronic devices. Recently, many new TE materials emerged to try to overcome the deficiency of ITO, including graphene, ultrathin metal, and oxide-metal-oxide structure. By finely control of the fabrication techniques, the main properties of conductivity, transmittance, and mechanical stability, have been studied in the literatures, and their applicability in the potential optoelectronic devices has been reported. Herein, in this work, we summarized the recent progress of the TE materials applied in optoelectronic devices by focusing on the fabrication, properties, such as Graphene, ultra-thin metal film, and metal oxide and performance. The advantages and insufficiencies of these materials as TEs have been summarized and the future development aspects have been pointed out to guide the design and fabrication TE materials in the next generation of transparent optoelectronic devices. 196. Effect of Harvest Time on the Seed Yield and Quality of Kengyilia melanthera.

Abstract

Kengyilia melanthera is one of the most important forages, and has received significant attention as a desirable ecological pioneer grass for conserving grasslands and mitigating degradation pressure in a region. It is widely distributed in the alpine sandy meadow zone of the Eastern Qinghai–Tibet Plateau (QTP). Therefore, determining the optimal harvest time of this species is critical. A two-year field experiment (2016–2017) was utilized in this study to evaluate the impact of eight harvest times on the seed yield and quality of K. melanthera 'Aba'. The results show that the fresh weight (FW), dry weight (DW), seed yield (SY), thousand-grain weight (TGW), accelerated aging germination percentage (AAGP), and dehydrogenase activity (DA) of seeds increased with the extension of harvest time in two trial years, while the water content (WC) of seeds decreased. In both trial years, the germination percentage (GEP), germination potential (GP), and acid phosphatase activity (APA) of seeds increased initially and then decreased with the extension of harvest time. The comprehensive evaluation of the membership function and hierarchical clustering revealed that the 30th day after peak anthesis was the optimal harvest time for both 2016 and 2017. During this time, FW, DW, SY, TGW, AAGP, DA, WC, GEP, GP, and APA reached their optimal value, with 0.815 g, 0.518 g, 1773.67 kg·hm−2, 143.81%, 66%, 16.23 µg·mL−1, 36.01%, 87%, 85%, and 2.50 nmol·min−1 in 2016 and 0.805 g, 0.515 g, 1847.42 kg·hm−2, 133.96%, 65%, 16.52 µg·mL−1, 36.04%, 86.5%, 83.5%, and 2.55 nmol·min−1 in 2017, respectively. This study uncovers several high-efficiency and long-term technological solutions for cultivating high yields and quality production of K. melanthera in East QTP. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
