A través de su historia, la teoría filosófica ha propuesto distintos repertorios de categorías que dieran cuenta de la estructura última de la realidad; sin embargo, para caracterizar los sentidos fundamentales del ser, el discurso de la Filosofía no ha dejado de emplear determinantes, conectores y otras expresiones formales de relación o modo sin un significado sustantivo. Este artículo realiza un análisis de contenido de los sentidos en que la comunidad hispanohablante emplea expresiones como per se, entre o como si, relacionadas con la categorización de la mismidad, la relación o la ficción contrafáctica.

La obra "El orden de palabras en español" (1977) de Heles Contreras parece ser el tratamiento más detallado que ha recibido el tema enunciado en su título. Las conclusiones alcanzadas en ella son de gran interés, pero como podía esperarse debido a lo complejo del tema- no logran abarcarlo en su totalidad y cabe pensar en superarlas en sus aspectos más discutibles y en complementarias en aquellos en que ha tenido mayores aciertos.

The article presents an analysis of the fundamental operations of Hegelian logic, with the intent to clarify its speculative nature and its relation to historical context, especially critic philosophy. A través de los testimonios dejados en registro escrito por los lectores sobre su práctica lectora se formula el esquema de una tipología de los lectores: fácticos y teóricos; así como las categorías de su discurso testimonial: fragmentario y orgánico. La finalidad es que ese esquema sirva a los bibliotecólogos para mejor comprender la práctica de la lectura en su dimensión individual y concreta, lo que a la vez les permitirá tener una visión humanística de los lectores y su actividad lectora.Through testimonies on reading practice left as written record by readers, a scheme is formulated for a reader typology: factual and theoretical, as well as the categories of their testimonial discourse: fragmentary and organic. The purpose is that the scheme gives librarians a better understanding of reading practice and its individual and concrete dimensions, which simultaneously will allow them a humanistic vision of readers and their reading activity.

This is the first Spanish translation of the three first questions, of Scotus's commentary on Aristotle's Categories. The Franciscan distinguishes the subject matter of the Aristotelian treatise under the logical concept of «category», grounding the unity of their treatment as a scientific object on the unity of this concept. To do so, Scotus distinguishes the properly logic study of categories, from its linguistic treatment (which grounds in their utterance) and from the metaphysician's study (where its real diversity is considered), al least in this first moment of his thought. "Relation" in Thomas Aquinas is one of the Aristotelian categories that represents "accidents". Nevertheless, there are a few difficulties in such metaphysical commitment because the division "substance"-"accidents" does not assign a place to the idea of a "middle term" between two things. In this paper I present some tensions between the systematization of "relation" as a category in Thomas Aquinas and his position about the "status" of predicaments in general. For this purpose I first analyze the deduction of the categories as presented by the author and then deal with the "relation" in a systematic way. In this exposition I argue that Thomas has several difficulties in order to assign the relation an "accidental foundation of its own" different from the other predicaments that allow him to consider it as one of the "categories". La autora discute los antecedentes y consecuencias que tienen la construcción de nuestras categorías de conocimiento en la vida cotidiana y en la práctica científica. Mantiene que la elección de lo que es importante en el campo del conocimiento no es el resultado sólo de criterios metodológicos y científicos. Para mostrarlo, examina la tensión existente entre la metodología cuantitativa y la cualitativa como metodologías convencionales para obtener conocimiento.

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo realizar o levantamento etnobotânico de plantas classificadas em diferentes categorias de uso na comunidade de Conceição-Açu, no município de Cuiabá, MT, Brasil e estimar o valor de uso das espécies botânicas em matas de galeria. Entrevistas estruturadas e semi-estruturadas, o uso do questionário foram aplicados em 59 residentes adultos de ambos os sexos. Identificou-se as unidades de paisagem: quintais, roças e matas de galeria e o número total de espécies utilizadas foi de 180. A maioria das plantas foi coletada durante a entrevista e depositadas no Herbário da UFMT. Nos quintais das residências identificou-se 86 espécies, pertencentes a 43 famílias, a maioria cultivada e utilizada como alimento (48,1%) e como remédio (44,5%). Nas roças os principais cultivos são: Manihot esculenta L. (100%), Carica papaya L. (76,2%), Musa paradisiaca L. (71,4%), Saccharum officinarum L. (57,1%). Na mata de galeria destacou-se a categoria medicinal (65%), com as espécies: Copaifera langsdorffii Desf. (2,5), Aspidosperma polyneuron Muell. Arg. (2,5), Hymenaea stignocarpa Mart. (2,33), Diptychandra aurantiaca Tul. (2,0), Cariniana rubra Gardner ex. Miers (20) e as famílias botânicas Mimosaceae, Bignoniaceae, Caesalpiniaceae, Fabaceae e Sapindaceae. Os resultados demonstram que a população possui vasto conhecimento das plantas e de suas propriedades de cura.This paper aims at doing the ethnobotany survey of plants classified in different categories of use in the community of Conceição-Açu, in the city of Cuiabá, MT, Brazil and estimate the value of use of the species botanic in the gallery forest. Structured and non-structured interviews and the questionnaire were used in 59 adult dwellers of both sexes. Were identified the landscape units: backyards, husbandry and gallery forest and the total number of used species is the 180. The majority of the plants was collected during the interview and is kept in the Herbary of the Federal University of Mato Grosso. In the backyards of the house, 86 species, belong 43 families were identified, the majority of which planted and utilized as food (48.1%) an used as medicinal (44.5%). In the husbandry the cultivation principal are: Manihot esculenta L. (100%), Carica papaya L. (76.2%), Musa paradisiaca L. (71.4%), Saccharum officinarum L. (57.1%). In the gallery forest the use value showed the medicinal categoty (65%) species: Copaifera langsdorffii Desf. (2.5), Aspidosperma polyneuron Muell. Arg. (2.5), Hymenaea stignocarpa Mart. (2.33), Diptychandra aurantiaca Tul. (2.0), Cariniana rubra Gardner ex. Miers (2.0) and the Mimosaceae, Bignoniaceae, Caesalpiniaceae, Fabaceae and Sapindaceae families were the most used. The results show that the populacion has a wide knowledge of the plants and of the his power of healing.

A la teoría de la relatividad se la ha considerado una teoría empírica. Sobre esta interpretación se ha preconizado el triunfo del empirismo sobre cualquier otra concepción filosófica. Moritz Schlick vaticinó que no se podrían encontrar los principios sintéticos a priori de esta ciencia porque tal cosa no existía. Este artículo demuestra no ya sólo que se pueden encontrar, sino que ya estaban en posesión de Kant. La introducción de algunas pocas precisiones nos bastará para adaptar a la teoría de la relatividad tan preciados principios.

Objetivou-se estudar os aspectos quantitativos e qualitativos da carcaça e da carne de doze animais de duas categorias de bovinos Hereford, novilhos de dois anos de idade e vacas de descarte com idade média de oito anos, tomados ao acaso do mesmo rebanho, os quais foram terminados por 112 dias em confinamento, sendo que na primeira fase de 56 dias a relação volumoso (cana-de-açúcar triturada) : concentrado foi de 69 : 31 e na segunda fase, de 57 : 43. As vacas apresentaram maiores pesos de abate (475,7 vs. 426,7 kg) e porcentagem de costilhar (15,28 vs. 14,20%), porém rendimentos de carcaça fria (46,62 vs. 49,14%) inferiores. Não ocorreu diferença significativa entre as categorias para peso de carcaça fria. Os novilhos apresentaram melhores conformação de carcaça ("boa menos" vs. "regular") e perímetro de braço (34,67 vs. 33,58 cm), com menor comprimento de carcaça (121,9 vs. 131,6 cm) do que as vacas. A área de Longissimus dorsi foi maior nos novilhos (54,52 cm²) do que nas vacas (48,72 cm²), assim como a porcentagem de músculo na carcaça (63,96 vs. 56,28%). As vacas de descarte apresentaram maior percentagem de gordura na carcaça (25,29 vs. 21,08%) e de marmoreio na carne ("pequeno menos" vs. "leve menos"). Os novilhos apresentaram carne mais suculenta (5,45 vs. 4,70 pontos), de melhor palatabilidade (5,60 vs. 4,83 pontos) e mais macia (5,15 vs. 4,12 pontos) do que as vacas, mas não houve diferença significativa na força para cizalhamento das fibras da carne. A carne das vacas mostrou maior quebra ao cozimento (33,94%) do que a carne de novilhos (31,55%). Os resultados deste trabalho mostraram que os novilhos abatidos com dois anos de idade produzem carcaças mais magras e carne de melhor qualidade que vacas de descarte.

¿De qué manera se puede pensar ontológicamente la educación? ¿La categoría ontológica del “ser” permite pensar en un “ser educable”? ¿Puede la categoría ontológica del “estar” contextualizar la realidad educativa en América Latina? Estas preguntas guiarán una reflexión ontológica sobre el “ser” y “estar” para pensar la educación. A partir de esta reflexión desde una filosofía latinoamericana, se planteará una presencia ontológica del símbolo desde la analogía y la experiencia educativa, como realidad que apertura hacia nuevas experiencias y aprendizajes para el ser humano en la educación.

Este trabajo propone un recorrido teórico sobre distintas formas de estudiar las juventudes en nuestro tiempo, atendiendo a determinadas categorías y representaciones desde las que se han abordado tales investigaciones. Estas constituyen hechos discursivos relevantes por su incidencia en la construcción del conocimiento tanto académico como del saber de sentido común. A partir de una selección de líneas y autores que proponen formas de comprender la cuestión juvenil desde distintos campos del conocimiento en las Ciencias Sociales, se revisan nociones como las de identidad, generación, cultura, subcultura y cibercultura juveniles. Asimismo, el trabajo indaga en la operatividad de categorías tales como las de tribus urbanas y nativos/inmigrantes digitales en tanto formas de definir a los y las jóvenes en la actualidad según sus prácticas, especialmente en el Ciberespacio. The aim of this paper is to review different models and the main theories that describe the way Semantic Memory is organized. With regard to the organization of concrete concepts is possible to observe multiple progresses related with the models that have been postulated by Cognitive Psychology and Cognitive Neuropsychology. However the debate is still open to discussion because behavioral performance of healthy subjects and patients with acquired brain injury has brought evidences of its organization. Moreover, the new images techniques developed offer information about possible areas of the brain which are involved. Whenever there are more consensuses about a possible semantic organization in terms of properties, features or semantic attributes. Also, the neural areas that support perception and action would be overlapped with those areas that represent concepts. Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is a term that has been changed over the years. It comprises a set of childhood diseases whose main characteristic is arthritis of unknown origin before 16 years of age. The current classification is the last review in 2001 of the classification previously described by the International League of Associations for Rheumatology (ILAR). The seven categories listed and described herein are: systemic arthritis, oligoarthritis (both in its extended and persistent forms), rheumatoid factor positive polyarthritis and rheumatoid factor negative polyarthritis, enthesitis-related arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and finally undifferentiated arthritis . We intend in this paper to examine the seemingly incompatibility between the third Kantian Critique's concept of the free play or harmony of the faculties Imagination and Understanding, and the Kantian first Critique's Transcendental Deduction of the Categories, as long as the former seems to imply that Imagination can perceive "without concepts" an intuited object, and this last one tried to submit all such kind of perception to an a priori possession of a concept. Comparação entre as duas versões da dedução kantiana dos conceitos puros do entendimento, a da 1ª edição de 1781 e a de 1787. Focam-se aqui principalmente as discrepâncias referentes à dedução objetiva, isto é, aquela encarregada de demonstrar que as categorias são as condições de possibilidade dos objetos de experiênciaThis essay develops a comparison between the two versions of the Kantian deduction of the pure concepts of the understanding as present in the first (1781) and second (1787) editions of KrV. Emphasis is stressed on the discrepancies between the two versions of the objective deduction, that is, the one which demonstrates that the categories are conditions of possibility of the objects of experience.

On the first part of next article it’s expounded a theoretical approximation to what “good practices” are; for it there are revised the proposals of several authors in here, there are considered different aspects for their categorization and we set a classification and a sketch model for presenting a good practice. The second part describes an example of a good practice performed in a high school, it consists on the use of the sociometric technique as the instrument for going into detail about pupils knowledge and also for setting strategies, for independent or group work intervention, with those pupils with signs of risk.

The history of genuine Mexican cheeses, the contribution of the Spaniards during the Conquest and the evolution of Mexican cheeses during the Colony are reviewed; the different categories of Mexican cheeses are studied as well. The modernization of the cheese industry in the 20th century is assesed, particularly the 70s decade, when imitation cheese, based in milk powder, vegetable fat and modern technology boomed into their manufacture. Genuine cheese and imitation cheese nature is also reviewed based on the classical authors and normative international bodies. A classification and explanation of the following categories is proposed: filled, extended, recombined and analogue, and its potential impact on the market and artisanal cheese industry is mentioned. The Southwest region of the State of Mexico (PSEM as it stands in Spanish) is located in the so called Mexican Transition Mountainous Zone. The forest communities that prevail in this area are pine trees forests (Pinus spp.), oak trees forests (Quercus spp.), mixed ones, mountainous cloud forest and tropical deciduous forest, which are being modified due to the influence of human processes. This research paper establishes a methodology to analyze the changes on the land cover of the PSEM which took place from 1989 to 2009 using a technique of image satellite interpretation (Landsat TM), as well as the use of the maximum authenticity algorithm which leads towards the implementation of soil and vegetation maps whose main purpose is to obtain information on the validity of these study cases. Overlapping those maps, it is possible to come up with a matrix of changes to check annual modifications on the land cover, and based on it the changes rates can be measured. From data obtained through this research, it can be stated that the land cover of this forest has considerably decreased because 19 262 ha disappeared and were taken up by water supplies (105 ha), farming lands (19 113 ha), human settlements (39 ha) and technical and controlled agriculture (5 ha). It can be summed up that this deforestation mainly comes as a result of the practice of agriculture and livestock activities indeed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
