In questo contesto è possibile individuare una classe di meccanismi di scambio messaggi , che permetta di realizzare sistemi modulari. Tali meccanismi vengono descritti mediante uno schema generale, che fa riferimento alle teorie di Dennis. Quindi, riferendosi allo schema generale, vengono descritti e confrontati due diversi sistemi ottenuti con: a) il port approach, orientato verso la trasmissione di messaggi tramite connessioni unidirezionali e mailboxes; b) l'interface approach, orientato verso lo scambio di messaggi tramite la gestione organizzata di strutture di interfaccia.

The article reports on the case of a young patient on OC (oral contraception) for 3 months who suddenly developed benign endocranic hypertension. Such cases have been frequently reported in the published literature, especially, but not always, in connection with obese patients. Suspension of OC treatment usually terminates the problem. The cause of the association OC-headache is not yet well known.

The trend of imported malaria cases in Italy from 1960 to 1988 is discussed. Comparative analysis of its incidence in the last three years is also presented. Since 1985, a rapid increase has been recorded with 191 cases in 1986, 287 in 1987 and 350 in 1988. In 1986-88 Plasmodium falciparum has been responsible for 74% of the total number, followed by P. vivax (21%), P. malariae (2%) and P. ovale (1%). 86% of the imported cases have been acquired in African countries, 8% in Asia and 3% in South America. As far as travelers categories are concerned workers represent 45.6% of the total population, tourists 36.6%, seamen and aircrew 2.1% and strangers coming from endemic malaria areas and traveling to Italy 15.7%. In 1986, 1987, and 1988 one, two and two deaths, respectively, due to malaria, are reported.

Peacekeeping missions account for more than half of UN emissions and are among the top polluters on Earth. Thus, taking into consideration the environmental aspect of these operations is relevant to address local grievances and mitigate the impact of troops themselves. Responding to local environmental problems and targeting the behavior of peacekeepers is ultimately relevant to enhance the successfulness of the mission, preserve UN credibility and foster global environmental protection. After a careful review of the literature background connected to this field, this research outlines UN green efforts in general and later focuses on MONUSCO and UNMISS, as significant examples of ongoing operations which contribute to a large portion of UN emissions. Overall, this dissertation questions the existence of environmental plans in these two cases, their connection to the academic field and their possible improvements. To conduct this exploration, UN green plans in MONUSCO and UNMISS are analyzed in their pre, intra and post-deployment efforts with the aim of highlighting their strengths and weaknesses. This research analyses the ways in which Grassroots Organisations (GOs) interact with the logics of humanitarianism, while providing assistancetothe People on theMove (POM) on Lesvos, Greece. In doing so, it investigates how GOs position themselves vis-a-vis the core humanitarian principles (humanity, neutrality, impartiality, independence). Incorporating evidence from participant observation and semi- structured interviews, this study demonstrates that GOs tended to embrace the principle of humanity, independence, and impartiality (to an extent that the current socio-political situation allows), while strictly non-conforming to the principle of neutrality. Upon consideration of their approach towards, and the framing of the People on the Move, the praxes of Grassroots Organisations have been found to stand in sharp contrast to the functioning of the well-established humanitarian actors. Consequently, GOs contested the harms and violence of the current European border regime and Greek approach to migration, through a variety of practices of a varying political character. This work uses Foucault's critical discourse analysis to investigate the roots, development and implications of the securitisation of the Amazon conducted by Bolsonaro's administration. Through the examination of speeches, interviews, policy papers, laws, provisional measures and decrees, this paper demonstrates that the securitisation is taking place to facilitate natural exploitation, rather than protecting the Amazon rainforest. The anti- environmental agenda is an extension of the economic and political agendas of the administration, dedicated to foster the commodification of Amazonian natural resources for the economic gain of agrarian elites. This mainly serves the purpose of maintaining power through the increase of political support of the administration by ruralist parties in the Congress. To disrupt environmental protection, the administration sought to dismantle federal environmental authorities by weakening their monitoring competencies, by persecuting their civil servants and by substituting specialists in leading positions for militaries with no prior experience in the field. Despite being a fringe ideology, eco-fascism has gained widespread interest since 2019 with its connection with terrorist violence. The 2019 Christchurch, El Paso and 2022 Buffalo attackers' manifestos all expressed environmental ideas and incorporated climate change into the justifications for their actions. Considering the severity of the threat posed by this lineage of violence, this dissertation aims to identify the dominant narratives and themes within eco-fascist affiliated Telegram channels. It also seeks to contextualise findings by connecting themes, where possible, as representative of either a distinct eco-fascist subculture or militant accelerationist movement, understanding the extent to which each has an influence on the 'Ecogram' community. The findings conclude that Ecogram can be considered a melting pot of green far-right tendencies. Dominant themes all revolved around the twin pillars of anti- modernism and the natural order.
