The purpose of the research and assistance carried out in Sidomukti Village, Kenduruan Sub-District, Tuban District was to make farmers independent for seed sovereignty, production sovereignty, and market sovereignty. The method used was Participatory Action Research. The results obtained are that agriculture is a very crucial field in the lives of Indonesian people. Therefore, the number of innovations and assistance carried out to build or increase agricultural capacity is absolutely necessary. In addition, collaboration between parties will be very helpful in the process of independence in the agricultural sector, both in the fields of seeds, production, and markets. For further researchers and assistants, it is hoped that they can carry out more in-depth research, this is because the research and assistance carried out is only in a fairly short time, so that the implementation evaluation process cannot be carried out optimally. In addition, collaboration from multi stakeholders continues to provide further assistance, especially in collaboration with government agencies, where one of the missions carried out by the current Regent is to increase the added value of the agricultural sector widely, where one of the work programs is one village. one priority, village cooperation, logistical support, and strengthening food security. So that multi-stakeholder cooperation will be established in Sidomukti Village.

Pendidikan Islam seperti kegiatan pengajian majelis ta'lim dapat dijadikan sebagai wadah pembentuk jiwa dan kepribadian yang agamis sekaligus berfungsi sebagai stabilisator dalam seluruh gerak aktifitas kehidupan manusia, maka selayaknya kegiatan-kegiatan yang bernuansa Islam mendapat perhatian dan dukungan dan masyarakat, sehingga tercipta insan-insan yang memiliki keseimbangan potensi dari segi intelektual maupun mental spiritual sekaligus memiliki lrepribadian yang Islami dalam menghadapi perubahan zaman yang semakin global dan maju. The ministry is one of the important institutions in government. Its function is to assist the President's duties in running the government. Ministries in Indonesia are formed by the President as head of state and head of government. In the history of the Islamic world, there have been figures who put forward the concept of the Ministry, precisely during the Abbasid Caliphate. The thinker was named Imam Al Mawardi. The concept of the Ministry according to Imam Al Mawardi is outlined in his work entitled Al-Ahkam Al-Shulthaniyah. This study uses a qualitative method with a statutory approach. The primary data sources in this study are the classic book by Imam Al-Mawardi with the title Al-Ahkam Al-Shulthaniyah and Law No. 39 of 2008 concerning the Ministry of State. The results of this study indicate that Imam Al-Mawardi divides the concept of wizarah (Ministry) into two, namely wizarah tafwidh and wizarah tanfidzh. From the two concepts of Imam Al Mawardi there is a correlation between the concept of wizarah (Ministry) tanfizh with the concept of the Ministry in Indonesia. The difference is that there were no political parties during Imam Al-Mawardi's time, while in the Indonesian government there were political parties. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Imam Al-Mawardi membagi konsep wizarah (Kementerian) menjadi dua, yaitu wizarah tafwidh dan wizarah tanfidzh. Dari kedua konsep Imam Al Mawardi tersebut terdapat korelasi antara konsep wizarah (Kementerian) tanfizh dengan konsep Kementerian di Indonesia. Waqf is a part of the field in Islamic jurisprudence related to economic affairs of Muslims. It is derived from hadith of Ibn Umar that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) ordered to invest the original property, or waqf, and profits generated will be distributed in the form of donation. In other words, this hadith consists of two components whereby the waqf will remain permanent and used only for investment, and profits generated will be used for the benefits of others. Based on this hadith, fiqh development of the waqf has grown rapidly, which not only involves immovable property but are now more beginning to involve movable property. Issues related to fiqh and waqf fatwa commonly discussed include permissibility of istibdal waqf property, waqf of movable property, cash waqf and temporary waqf (mu'aqqat) such as those involving real estate lease-holds. With regards to these issues, different opinions on the permissibility of such waqf have emerged and questions arise in the enactment of legislation about waqf property. This is because from the perspective of governance, to ensure that the enforcement of waqf laws are consistent throughout the countries, there is a need to draw out a set of clear guidelines to be followed despite a wide range of different opinions. Based on these questions, a study will be conducted in Malaysia to investigate the situation of fiqh differences concerning waqf, the possibility of generating one standardised guideline among all states regarding waqf and fatwas, and its implementation in Malaysia. This research will be conducted qualitatively by referencing the debates in the books of fiqh, legal provisions and circulars related to administrative law of waqf property. The study will investigate the issues that have resulted in different views concerning waqf and methods to harmonise these waqf fatwa by finding an appropriate middle way (rajih). This is to ensure that the views underpinning the legislation of fatwa and legislation will be justifiable, uniform among all states and acceptable to all parties. Keywords: endowments, khilaf, fatwa, standardisation, law. Abstrak Wakaf adalah merupakan sebahagian antara bidang dalam perundangan Islam yang berkaitan dengan hal ehwal ekonomi umat Islam. Pensyariatan wakaf adalah berasal daripada hadith Ibnu Umar di mana Rasulullah SAW memerintahkan supaya ditahan asal harta dan disedekahkan hasilnya. Hadith ini menghasilkan dua elemen dalam harta wakaf iaitu harta yang kekal dan manfaat yang boleh dinikmati daripadanya. Berasaskan hadith ini, perkembangan fekah mengenai wakaf telah berkembang dengan pesat yang bukan sahaja melibatkan harta tak alih tetapi kini meluas sehingga melibatkan harta alih. Antara isu yang biasa dibincangkan berkaitan dengan fekah dan fatwa wakaf ialah keharusan istibdal harta wakaf, wakaf dengan harta alih, wakaf dengan wang tunai dan wakaf yang dilakukan untuk sementara waktu (mu’aqqat) seperti yang melibatkan hartanah lease-hold. Bertitik tolak daripada perbahasan-perbahasan ini, terdapat pelbagai pandangan di kalangan mufti mengenai isu-isu wakaf sehingga menimbulkan pelbagai pandangan untuk digubal dalam undang-undang mengenai harta wakaf. Ini kerana dalam pentadbiran dan pengurusan, hanya satu pandangan yang dipilih untuk dimasukkan sebagai pandangan yang diterimapakai untuk pelaksanaan bagi memastikan pentadbiran undang-undang dilaksanakan dengan teratur dan konsisten. Berasaskan kepelbagaian pandangan ini, kajian akan dilakukan dalam situasi di Malaysia bagi menyelidik kedudukan perbezaan pandangan fuqaha’ dalam hal ehwal wakaf, penyeragaman pandangan dan fatwa, serta pelaksanaannya di Malaysia. Penyelidikan ini akan dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan merujuk kepada perbahasan kitab-kitab fekah, peruntukan undang-undang dan pekeliling yang berkaitan dengan undang-undang pentadbiran harta wakaf. Oleh itu, penyelidik akan menyelidik isu-isu yang menyebabkan berlakunya perbezaan pandangan tersebut dan kaedah untuk mengharmonikan fatwa wakaf ini dengan mengenal pasti pendapat yang paling kuat dari sudut dalil dan maslahah (rajih). Ini bagi memastikan pandangan yang dipilih untuk fatwa dan penggubalan undang-undang menjadi kuat dan kukuh, seragam antara semua negeri dan dapat diterima oleh semua pihak. Prayer plays a noteworthy role in Muslims daily lives. Quran and Sunnah testify that regular prayers can boost one’s health, can remove the level of stress, and may make one more productive and vigour. Such findings also noticed by medical and psychological experts, and likewise many contemporary research have shown wide-ranging outcomes in terms of improved wellbeing when prayer is done with sincere devotion. Nevertheless what is lacking is that the policy makers in the Islamic world need to initiate whether there exist any linkages between prayer and productivity, which needs to be appreciated more by them, as well as by Islamic economists and social scientists, Islamic business professionals and Islamic jurists, and then through a concerted effort and dynamic fact finding mission and verification to ascertain the Qur’anic beliefs in our daily lives. Zakat is compulsory charity in Islam to fight poverty and inequality, but there is a gap in literature concerning the performance of zakat in terms of achieving sustainable development for its recipients. Therefore, this study intends to assess the role of zakat in achieving the sustainable development status for recipients. This study collected primary data through a questionnaire survey among 440 zakat recipients from the Kedah State in Malaysia. The data were analysed using structural equation modelling. The findings reveal that zakat helps to improve the overall sustainable development status of its recipients, but the economic aspect improves more than the social and environmental aspects. Therefore, to ensure the success of zakat in line with the goals of achieving sustainable development for recipients as advocated by the United Nations, the policymakers and zakat administrators around the world and particularly in Malaysia need to focus on redesigning the zakat management program.

Science learning can be integrated with local culture in the form of learning models. This study aimed to analyze the contribution of the local wisdom integrated science (LWIS) learning model in practicing scientific communication skills of prospective science teachers in Ecology learning. This study used a quasi-experimental of posttest only control design and purposive sampling technique from prospective science teachers at Trunojoyo University, Madura. The research instrument was a test of scientific communication skills, observations of the implementation of the LWIS learning model, questionnaire and interview responses of prospective science teachers to ecological learning using the LWIS learning model. Data analysis techniques used the t-test significance level of 5%. The results showed that (1) there were differences in the scientific communication skills of prospective science teachers after using the LWIS learning model of significance of 0.014 control class by 88.03% (high), (3) implementation of the LWIS learning model obtained an average value of 100% (very good), and (4) the response of prospective science teachers obtained an average value of 89.40% (very good) for the experimental class and the prospective science teacher said that the learning model was new, easy to use, developed scientific communication skills. Thus it can be concluded that the LWIS learning model contributes positively in training the scientific communication skills of prospective science teachers in Ecology learning.

This research is aimed to find out the factors such as the social media, surrounding, intelligence, personality, and individual motivation influenced to entrepreneurship interest of students of Al Munawwir Islamic boarding school, Q complex. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. Data sources in this research are primary data in questionary and secondary data likes the number of student and history of Al Munawwir Islamic boarding school, Q complex, Yogyakarta. Population in this research is female students Al Munawwir Islamic boarding school, Q complex, Yogyakarta. The Sample obtained with sampling quota technique that sample total is 63 students.The result indicate that the social media, intelligence, personality, and individual motivation have positive influence on the entrepreneurial interest of students. Only the environment doesn’t effect the student entrepreneurial interest in the Al Munawwir Islamic boarding school, Q complex, Yogyakarta.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hal-hal yang mempengaruhi keputusan anggota koperasi mengambil pembiayaan. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah pengaruh lokasi, pelayanan, dan prosedur pencairan pembiayaan secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap keputusan anggota koperasi mengambil pembiayaan di KSPS KUM3 Al Istiqomah. Dan juga pengaruh lokasi, pelayanan, dan prosedur pencairan pembiayaan secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap keputusan anggota koperasi mengambil pembiayaan di KSPS KUM3 Al Istiqomah. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan ialah uji asumsi klasik dan analisis regresi berganda. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan cara wawancara terhadap manajer KSPS KUM3 Al Istiqomah dan anggota koperasi sebagai responden dengan mengisi kuesioner. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah anggota koperasi yang mengambil pembiayaan di KSPS KUM3 Al Istiqomah yang berjumlah 68 orang atau anggota dengan bantuan software SPSS untuk menganisis data dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor lokasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan anggota koperasi mengambil pembiayaan. Namun untuk faktor pelayanan dan prosedur pencairan pembiayaan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan anggota koperasi mengambil pembiayaan di KSPS KUM3 Al Istiqomah. The problem formulation in this research is the influence of location, service, and process to develop in KSPS KUM3 Al Istiqomah. And also affect the location, service, and process to develop in KSPS KUM3 Al Istiqomah.This research methodology uses quantitative. The method used to test and multiple regression analysis. Data processing techniques used by interviewing KSPS manager KUM3 Al Istiqomah and members of the cooperative as respondents by filling out the questionnaire. Respondents in this study are members of KSPS KUM3 Al Istiqomah faced by 68 people or members with the help of SPSS software to analyze data and payment of hypothesis.The result of the research shows that the location factor has no significant effect on the member decision of the cooperative to take the financing. However, for the factors and the liquefaction process is one of the most influential on the results of KSPS KUM3 Al Istiqomah. Keywords: service, financing disbursement, and member decisions.

White spot syndrome virus (WSSV) is a devastating viral disease in shrimp aquaculture. Infection of WSSV in penaeid shrimps affects immune defense and changes gene expression. Pm VRP15 has been reported as a part of the WSSV propagation pathway that is highly up-regulated in hemocytes at the acute phase of WSSV infection. This study analyzed the expression of Pm VRP15 in local populations of giant tiger shrimp ( Penaeus monodon ) to be associated with susceptibility to WSSV. Tested populations consisted of an inbreeding population (G 8 ) and outbreeding population (G 8iA ) from Jepara, Indonesia. Susceptibility was determined by cumulative mortality, median lethal time (LT 50 ), and severity of infection at time of death. Though all populations were susceptible to WSSV, the frst mortality in G 8 occurred at 18 hours post-infection (hpi) with mild infection, while frst mortality of G 8iA occurred at 30 hpi with severe infection. The LT 50 of G 8 was signifcantly lower than that of G 8iA , indicating that G 8iA was less susceptible to WSSV than G 8 . Relative Pm VRP15 transcripts of G 8iA were insignifcantly down-regulated, whereas relative Pm VRP15 transcripts of G 8 were insignifcantly upregulated. Although it’s still not conclusive, the results of this study suggest that Pm VRP15 has weak potentialas a WSSV susceptibility marker in G 8 and G 8iA broodstock selection.

Stridor presenting soon after birth due to bilateral abductor vocal cord paralysis (VCP) is rare. We report a family with bilateral VCP affecting four male members in two generations and hence suggesting X-linked recessive inheritance. Severe stridor in the neonatal period requires meticulous airway evaluation, and tracheostomy in 35-70% cases. The current trend is towards conservative management and tracheostomy is avoided unless respiratory distress is severe or life-threatening. Neonatal VCP can be an isolated finding, or it can be familial with or without syndromic features. There are very few reports of non-syndromic familial cases. Unlike the cases reported previously, none of our patients required prolonged intubation or tracheostomy suggesting an excellent prognosis in such cases. This is the first case study of congenital familial non-syndromic VCP reported from the Middle East.

Reactive oxygen species (ROS) produced during intracellular metabolism or triggered by extrinsic factors can promote neoplastic transformation and malignant microenvironment that mediate tumor development. Oligo-Fucoidan is a sulfated polysaccharide isolated from the brown seaweed. Using human THP-1 monocytes and murine Raw264.7 macrophages as well as human HCT116 colorectal cancer cells, primary C6P2-L1 colorectal cancer cells and human MDA-MB231 breast cancer cells, we investigated the effect of Oligo-Fucoidan on inhibiting M2 macrophage differentiation and its therapeutic potential as a supplement in chemotherapy and tumor prevention. We now demonstrate that Oligo-Fucoidan is an antioxidant that suppresses intracellular ROS and mitochondrial superoxide levels in monocytes/macrophages and in aggressive cancer cells. Comparable to ROS inhibitors (DPI and NAC), Oligo-Fucoidan directly induced monocyte polarization toward M1-like macrophages and repolarized M2 macrophages into M1 phenotypes. DPI and Oligo-Fucoidan also cooperatively prevented M2 macrophage invasiveness. Indirectly, M1 polarity was advanced particularly when DPI suppressed ROS generation and supplemented with Oligo-Fucoidan in the cancer cells. Moreover, cisplatin chemoagent polarized monocytes and M0 macrophages toward M2-like phenotypes and Oligo-Fucoidan supplementation reduced these side effects. Furthermore, Oligo-Fucoidan promoted cytotoxicity of cisplatin and antagonized cisplatin effect on cancer cells to prevent M2 macrophage differentiation. More importantly, Oligo-Fucoidan inhibited tumor progression and M2 macrophage infiltration in tumor microenvironment, thus increasing of anti-tumor immunity.

Tamarindus indica L. is well known for its acidic nature and allelopathic potential, but to date, little is known about its organic acids playing their role as allelochemicals. Hence, in the present study, identification, quantification, and contribution of organic acids present in its leaf extract were conducted using the principle of bioassay-guided procedure. High pressure liquid chromatography identified four organic acids, viz. citric, malic, oxalic, and tartaric acids, in its leaf aqueous extract with the predominance of oxalic acid (7.5 g kg−1 leaves fresh weight) followed by tartaric acid (7.3 g kg−1). The allelopathic activity of identified acids and aqueous extract was evaluated on lettuce seedlings growth based on the specific activity (EC50). The crude extract reduced radicle growth more adversely than hypocotyl at the concentration of 2.5 g L−1 (EC50). The research paper examined the feminine personal names within Beni Sakhr tribe, which inhabits the Jordanian central desert with the aim of pointing out the sociolinguistic implications of the names, and the differences in naming practices throughout three generations (grandmothers, mothers. daughters). For this reason, 300 names of female school students in the elementary stage were obtained from Almwaqqar Directorate of Education alongside their mothers and grandmothers. Analysis of a total number of 900 names, divided equally between the three categories, revealed that 69 % of the grandmothers' names are Bedouin-exclusive names opposed to (9%) and only (2%) of the mothers and daughters’ names respectively. Grandmothers’ names derive mainly from the needs of the dwellers of desert regions, the severe conditions they experienced, and the social values of the Jordanian nomadic tribes. Only 9 (3%) names of a religious background are identified in this category compared to 42 (14%) in the mothers’ names and 25 (8.3%) in the daughters’ names. In general, the paper finds evidence to suggest that the change in the lifestyle of Beni Sakhr tribe does influence the naming practice in this community.

Subject material concerning Deoxyribose Nucleic Acid (DNA) structure in the format of creativity-driven laboratory practice offers meaningful learning experience to the students. Therefore, a laboratory practice in which utilizes simple procedures and easy-safe-affordable household materials should be promoted to students to develop their creativity. This study aimed to examine whether designing and conducting DNA extraction with household materials could foster students' creative thinking. We also described how this laboratory practice affected students' knowledge and views. A total of 47 students participated in this study. These students were grouped and asked to utilize available household materials and modify procedures using hands-on worksheet. Result showed that this approach encouraged creative thinking as well as improved subject-related knowledge. Students also demonstrated positive views about content knowledge, social skills, and creative thinking skills. This study implies that extracting DNA with household materials is able to develop content knowledge, social skills, and creative thinking of the students. © 2016 by The International Union of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, 45(3):216-225, 2017.

The method used by researchers in this research is descriptive qualitative method . The result of this research is the consistency of lesehean trader in maintaining the taste and the price of the products it creates is influenced by intristic factor of trader and extrinsic trader, the merchant's intrinsic factor is related to the idea of determining the product being sold, while the trader's extrinsic factor is related to the consistency of the trader in create product recipes. The competitiveness of pedagagang lesehan Era with restaurant in Cirebon City is good because in order to compete with traders who already have a permanent place, traders lesehan in the elderly do business competition with normal that is by strengthening market share, connecting with environment, improve performance, and enforce a favorable position. Abstrak Mengingat bahwa perkembangan usaha rumah makan di wilayah Kota Cirebon (sepanjang jalan-jalan strategis di Kota Cirebon) sangat pesat dan masih banyaknya peluang untuk memasuki pasar bisnis kuliner tersebut. Maka pelaku usaha di tuntut untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan komunikasi pemasaran, sehingga memiliki keunggulan bersaing terhadap usaha yang sejenis. Metode yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif . Hasil penelitian yang didapat dalam penelitian ini adalah konsistensi pedagang lesehean kesepuhan dalam mempertahankan cita rasa dan harga produk yang diciptakannya dipengaruhi oleh faktor intristik pedagang dan ekstrinsik pedagang, faktor instrinstik pedagang berkaitan dengan ide penentuan produk yang dijual, sementara faktor ekstrinsik pedagang berkaitan dengan konsistensi pedagang dalam membuat resep produk. Daya saing pedagagang lesehan Kesepuhan dengan rumah makan di Kota Cirebon terbilang baik karena demi untuk dapat bersaing dengan pedagang yang sudah memiliki tempat permanen, pedagang lesehan di kesepuhan melakukan persaingan usaha dengan normal yaitu dengan cara memperkokoh pangsa pasar, menghubungkan dengan lingkungan, meningkatkan kinerja,dan menegakan posisi yang menguntungkan.
