Sodobno poslovno okolje postavlja pred družbe za upravljanje številne nove izzive in spremembe, ki se jim le-te morajo prilagoditi, če si želijo zagotoviti tako obstoj kot tudi rast. Oblikovanje uspešnih in učinkovitih strategij zahteva poznavanje lastnih zmožnosti ter zunanjega okolja organizacije, v okviru katerega je odločilnega pomena poznavanje konkurence. V ta namen se v sodobnih podjetjih poslužujejo raziskovalnih tehnik, ki jih nudi znanstvena metoda analize konkurentov. Eno od pomembnejših orodij omenjene analize je primerjalna analiza konkurentov, oziroma benchmarking. S pomočjo benchmarkinga, ki pomeni sistematično in neprestano merjenje in primerjanje poslovnih rezultatov z ostalimi podjetji, lahko podjetje premaga svoje konkurente. Podjetje si tako zada za cilj preučiti, spoznati, uporabiti ter izpopolniti najboljše prakse, vse z namenom, da postane samo še boljše. Po opravljeni analizi ugotavljamo, da družba Infond d.o.o. ostaja v koraku z vsemi ostalimi družbami za upravljanje na slovenskem trgu, saj so finančni kazalci in ponudba storitev v večini primerljivi z najboljšimi v panogi. Razširitev segmenta ponudbe vzajemnih skladov je po našem mnenju nujna za ohranitev ugodnega položaja družbe na slovenskem trgu, vlagati pa bo potrebno tudi v razvoj prodajne mreže na tujih tržiščih. The modern business environment brings a number of new challenges and changes to the management companies that they have to adapt in order to ensure both the existence and growth. In such an environment, the company's market performance is largely dependent on appropriate strategies that ensure the company to successfully compete with other companies in the market. Creating efficient and effective strategies requires knowledge of own capabilities as well as the organization's external environment, within which the knowledge of the competition is crucial. To this end, however, companies are relying on modern research techniques offered by the scientific method of analysis of competitors. One of the major tools of competition analysis is a comparative analysis and benchmarking of competitors. Through benchmarking, which is systematically and continuously measuring and comparing their performance with their competitors, the company can overcome its competitors. The company also establishes the aim to examine, understand, apply and refine best practices, all with the aim to become only better. After the analysis we find that the company Infond d.o.o. remains in step with all other competitors in the Slovenian market, as the financial indicators and the offer of services are most comparable with the best in the field. We believe that the extension of offer segment of mutual funds is necessary to maintain a favorable position of the Slovenian market, but it also will be necessary to invest in developing a distribution network in foreign markets.
