This study develops an alternative, analytical approach for computing the electronic spectra of long-range diatomic Rydberg molecules with charged atomic cores in which either each core is identical, or else one core is a bare ion with no screening. This approach involves a frame transformation between locally separable regions of the configuration space, and an analytic expression for the frame transformation matrix is derived for Σ states. Results for states of Li and LiH are compared with available theoretical calculations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

MIXED methods research ,MANUSCRIPTS ,ODDS ratio - Abstract
In a previous editorial, we examined the concept of displaying with creativity, which involves using visual displays--namely, tables and figures--for the purpose of exploration, communication, calculation, storage, and decoration. Moreover, we documented that among manuscripts submitted to the journal Research in the Schools (RITS) over a 4-year period, a significant proportion of manuscripts (i.e., 19.7%) did not contain any visual displays, with a statistically significantly and practically significantly higher proportion of manuscripts containing tables than figures, and with the qualitative research manuscripts containing statistically significantly and practically significantly fewer visual displays than did both the quantitative research manuscripts and the mixed methods research manuscripts (Cohen's d = 1.09 and 0.93, respectively). Most notably, manuscripts that received a decision of either accept or revise-and-resubmit were statistically significantly (Cramer's V = .32) and practically significantly (Odds Ratio = 2.04; 95% confidence interval = 1.33, 3.12) more likely to contain one or more visual displays than were manuscripts that received a decision of reject (66.7%). In an attempt to understand further the role that visual displays play in manuscripts, we examined, in 71 manuscripts submitted to RITS, the relationship between the use of visual displays and the following predictor variables: readability, writing style, and communication vagueness. Findings revealed that all three sets of predictor variables were statistically significantly and practically significantly related to the use of visual displays. Implications of these findings are discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

IMPERSONALITY (Literature) , *JEWISH identity , *MODERNISM (Christian theology) - Abstract
This article explores three central figures that recur in Gabriel Josipovici’s critical writing. All three are essentially solitary. First, there is the creative figure – the artist, the composer, the writer – alone in their study or studio. Second, there is a curiously impersonal figure, more elusive, harder to pin down. Not the writer or artist but an anonymous figure walking down the road, Wordsworth’s solitaries in The Prelude and Paul Klee’s Wander-Artist. And, finally, there are Jewish figures, especially from Kafka and the Hebrew Bible. What are these bare, elusive anonymous figures doing in Josipovici’s writing? Why do they come up so often, throughout his work, from the mid 1970s to the present? And are they lifeless or are they full of life, deeply human, rooted in history and literature [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

SCHOOLS research ,MANUSCRIPT analysis ,COLLEGE curriculum ,QUANTITATIVE research - Abstract
Much has been written about the importance of writing with discipline in order to increase the readability and, hence, the publishability of manuscripts submitted to journals for consideration for publication. More specifically, empirical evidence has been provided that links American Psychological Association (APA) errors, citation errors, reference list errors, and grammatical errors to manuscript rejection by the editor. However, scant attention has been paid to what we refer to as displaying with creativity. Thus, in this study, we analyzed the use of visual displays--specifically, the use of tables and figures in 71 manuscripts submitted to the journal Research in the Schools over a 4-year period. Findings revealed that the majority (i.e., 80.3%) of manuscripts contained one or more visual displays, with a statistically significantly and practically significantly higher proportion of manuscripts containing tables than figures. Further, the qualitative research manuscripts contained statistically significantly and practically significantly fewer tables and figures than did both the quantitative research manuscripts and the mixed methods research manuscripts, with very large effect sizes (Cohen's d = 1.09 and 0.93, respectively). Most notably, manuscripts that received a decision of either accept or revise-andresubmit (92.1%) were statistically significantly (Cramer's V = .32) and practically significantly (Odds Ratio = 2.04; 95% confidence interval = 1.33, 3.12) more likely to contain one or more tables and/or figures than were manuscripts that received a decision of reject (66.7%). Research synthesis, such as comparative and meta‐analyses, requires the extraction of effect sizes from primary literature, which are commonly calculated from descriptive statistics. However, the exact values of such statistics are commonly hidden in figures.Extracting descriptive statistics from figures can be a slow process that is not easily reproducible. Additionally, current software lacks an ability to incorporate important metadata (e.g. sample sizes, treatment/variable names) about experiments and is not integrated with other software to streamline analysis pipelines. Here we present the r package metaDigitise which extracts descriptive statistics such as means, standard deviations and correlations from four plot types: (a) mean/error plots (e.g. bar graphs with standard errors), (b) box plots, (c) scatter plots and (d) histograms. metaDigitise is user‐friendly and easy to learn as it interactively guides the user through the data extraction process. Notably, it enables large‐scale extraction by automatically loading image files, letting the user stop processing, edit and add to the resulting data‐frame at any point. Digitised data can be easily re‐plotted and checked, facilitating reproducible data extraction from plots with little inter‐observer bias. We hope that by making the process of figure extraction more flexible and easy to conduct, it will improve the transparency and quality of meta‐analyses in the future. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

PRO-choice movement , *ABORTION , *FEMINISM , *SOCIAL media - Abstract
In the emerging context of hashtag feminism, this article explores the #SupportIslandWomen pro-choice initiative in Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada. The movement gained visibility by using the altered image of Anne of Green Gables (rogue Anne) on posters and graffiti throughout PEI and on social media. Drawing from organizational discourse theory, we analyse how rogue Anne was invoked by activists who spoke in her name, thus enacting the polyphonic nature of discourse. Our case study was built by performing non-participant observation online and by conducting a search in Canadian blogs and newspapers. First, we detail the discursive practices developed within the #SupportIslandWomen movement and underline their constitutive effects, namely, by focusing on the organizing properties of the hashtag feature. Then, we investigate the benefits and limitations of using rogue Anne as a unifying symbol and reflect on the discursive struggles that led to and were generated by her usurpation. - Abstract
The main aim of this paper is to propose a new Polish translation one of the well-known Michel de Montaigne's essays, De la vanite des paroles (On the Vanity of Words, I 51). For the humanist, rhetoric delimited only to elocution responsible for linguistic adornments becomes the subject for critical investigation. In a short introduction to the essay, the author takes into consideration the rhetoric of Montaigne's discourse on 'the vanity of words' with a particular attention to two rhetorical forms: amplification and figuration. Raising questions about lack of temperance in amplifying and adorning words with tropes and figures, the humanist attempted to revalorize linguistic and stylistic simplicity. Therefore, to find the proper words for various things, emotions and experiences are the central concern of an essay, a new literary genre invented by Montaigne. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Although word games are present almost everywhere in everyday language, in news or in advertisments, literature provides us sophisticated phenomena and allow thus a complex, sharp and multi-shaded analyses according to many criteria. The originality of the poet from Timişoara, Ştefan Foarţă came clearly forward by the shape of the poems and the word games which they contain. By mixing up sounds, syllabes, syntactical structures and especially meanings, throughthe word games the author reveals his great art. By carefully moving beyound and through the borders, Foarţă proves his sound daydreaming; fantasy; he rethinks the borders, changes the codes and thus allow us to unveil, causing addiction between word games and creativity. The author, in his own characteristic style, mixes the puns with the anagrams, holorhymes, playful or cipherea statements. The relevance of the study is determined by the lack of work on the analysis of linguistic expressive means of aphorisms by Marcel Proust. The material of the research are aphoristic sayings of ironic character found in the novels of Proust “Jean Santeuil”, “La Prisonnière”, “Albertine disparue”, “A l’ombre des jeunes filles en fleurs”, “Sodome et Gomorrhe”, “Le Côté de Guermantes”, “Le Temps retrouvé”. Since none of the linguistic resources of imagery is self-sufficient it is considered the most effective for the expression of irony combination means expressive syntax (figures) and figurative means (tropes). Among the means of expressive syntax it is analyzed the use of aphorisms by Proust, like parallel structures, chiasm, antithesis, repetition, poliptota. The most frequent in aphorisms by Proust are metaphors and similes. An important aspect of the study of aphorisms of Marcel Proust is a detailed examination of the arsenal of linguistic means of language pun used to create an ironic effect. The material of the pun became a unit of lexical and syntactic level, forming a paradox, pun, parody and illogic. Through the use of expressive means of expression of irony and their various combinations aphorisms Proust acquired ambiguity, originality, intellectual and emotional capacity.

This article discusses the figures who were involved in the smuggling of illegal trades carried out by the Republican Government during the revolutionary period of 1945-1949 in Singapore. Illegal trade is one of the Republican Government’s efforts to fill the void of state treasury after the imposition of an economic blockade by the Dutch Government during the revolutionary period. The economic blockade, especially on Sumatra, closed the flow of international trades entering Indonesia. Through this illegal trade, the Republican Government succeeded in filling the void in the state treasury and in providing financial support during the 1945-1949 revolution. However, the process of this illegal trade was carried out with great obstacles and challenges by several figures who made major contributions. Several figures known to have played an important role in this action include Ali Djajengprawira, Utoyo Ramelan, Zairin Zain, Suryono Darusman, R.E. Bajened, Dr. Samad, Joe Loh, Tan Chi Ku, and the last one is Djumbang Roesad.

Alliance theory posits that the contents of people’s political belief systems is determined by their group alliances in the political system. This approach builds on a long tradition in political psychology that emphasizes the role of group attitudes for structuring belief systems. It minimizes, if not dismisses, the role of moral principles in determining belief system content and yet can be used to explain some of the apparently illogical sets of attitudes that are packaged into different belief systems. We discuss how alliance theory and the worldview conflict hypothesis make similar predictions and yet posit different mechanisms for political animosity. We then explore how alliances and worldviews can explain the size and direction of the partisanship-animosity relationship in the 2016 American National Election Survey.

We study the politicians and voters of the Sweden Democrats, a major populist radical-right party. Based on detailed administrative data, we present the first comprehensive account of which politicians are selected into such a party. Surveys show that politicians and voters of the Sweden Democrats share strong anti-establishment and anti-immigration attitudes that drastically set them apart from Sweden’s other parties. Searching for individual traits that link naturally to these attitudes, we classify the universe of Swedish politicians and voters by social and economic marginalization and exposure to immigration. Politicians from the Sweden Democrats over-represent marginalized groups without strong attachments to the labour market or to traditional nuclear families, which instead are under-represented among politicians in all other parties. Among voters, the Sweden Democrats have higher electoral support in precincts with higher shares of the same marginalized groups. We see the mobilization of the marginalized as an important driver of the party’s success. Finally, we uncover that Sweden-Democrat politicians score lower on a number of valence traits than other-party politicians. In sum, the rise of the Sweden Democrats raised political representation for marginalized groups, but this came at a valence cost.

DOWNSIZING of organizations ,EMPLOYEES ,EXECUTIVES ,COWORKER relationships ,ORGANIZATIONAL change - Abstract
This study examines the discursive production of tensions during an organizational downsizing process through the study of employees' and managers' accounts. Drawing on data gathered at a Canadian governmental agency, this paper empirically illustrates the existence of multiple tensions that are part of members' responses to this change process. To help us investigate these accounts, we propose to mobilize Cooren's (2010, 2013) ventriloquial approach, which provides a compelling framework for the analysis of organizational members' responses as they deal with preoccupations arising from the implementation of new work processes. By tracking voices, figures, and tensions, this analysis allows us to shed light on preoccupations that are constitutive of the change process. The analysis revealed three main tensions during the change process: supportiveness vs. equity, effectiveness vs. authority, and accountability vs. collegiality. It suggests that it is important to consider these tensions in addressing issues of change and employees' concerns during this kind of process. The current literature does not explain how employees voice their concerns or how these preoccupations interact with one another to create multiple tensions. Our findings suggest that employees' preoccupations and concerns provide a global picture of their experiences during the process of organizational change and a better understanding of the tensions that are also part of the change process. This research presents a tension-centered perspective of change that challenges traditional approaches to change and suggests ways of avoiding tension in the change process. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The aim of this article is to analyze the role of figures in the work of objectivization of a regional specificity by social actors. Through descriptions or comparisons, figures are instrumental in characterizing and altering regions, posing their uniqueness and giving them a social and discursive density. As cognitive tools, figures may also contribute to the direct politicization of social facts and their construction as regional political issues. This fieldwork focuses on six regional actors in Brittany, Scotland and Galicia in the 1970s., Nazioni e Regioni, N. 6 (2015)

This article examines how borders are discursively reproduced in representations of the ‘refugee crisis’ in the German media. Based on an extensive content and discourse analysis of German press representations in 2015 and 2016, we argue that the discourse of crisis obscures the reasons for migration and instead shifts the focus to the advantages and disadvantages that refugees are assumed to bring to their host country. More specifically, we contend that press discourses construct a figure of the (un)deserving refugee around three key themes: economic productivity; state security; and gender relations. In doing so, we illustrate how the framing of some lives as more deserving of protection than others directly mirrors and extends the humanitarian securitization of borders into public discourse. The recent legal dispute in San Bernardino pitting the Apple Corporation against the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) concerned whether Apple was legally obliged to help law enforcement access the contents of a deceased terrorist's iPhone. The metonym of the “warrant” played an important role in public disputation regarding the relationship between the FBI's investigation and Apple's encryption technology. Representing a complex temporal sequence that includes the licensing of a search, a search, and a rendering of intelligible data, the metonym warrant enabled anti-encryption arguments that avoided overtly advocating decryption or public key use. The warrant metonym enabled this argumentative tactic by drawing more attention to the term's licensing feature, as it embedded the assumption that the search should be effective. Our analysis of this argumentation demonstrates how metonyms are inference-generating tools capable of instantiating normative frameworks that establish the argumentative framework for a dispute. Rhesus monkey is a part of biodiversity. According to IUCN the population trend of Rhesus Monkey is unknown and is considered unthreatened, though the original habitat of these species is increasingly being lost for human settlement. During fortnightly periodic visits from December, 2015 to November, 2016 direct sighting method and line transect method was used to record figures with emphasis components of Rhesus Monkey, Macaca mulatta (Zimmermann, 1780). Monthly variation of total numbers of Rhesus Monkey varied from a minimum of 191 individuals (95.50±0.50 average numbers) in month of May to a maximum of 252 individuals (126.00±4.00 average numbers) in month of April with an average of 223.00±5.70 individuals were recorded. Overall, seasonal variation in total numbers (with average number) of Rhesus Monkey varied from a minimum of 618 individuals (206.00±6.35 average number) in winter season to a maximum of 708 individuals (236.00±1.73 average number) in monsoon season with an average of 669.00±18.80 individuals were recorded. Minor variation in the total number of sighted individuals of Rhesus Monkey in various months as well as seasons (winter, summer, monsoon and autumn) may be due to the effect of searching of food items toward road side (because people through food items on road side) as well as in agriculture areas, increase human activity with their domestic animals, i.e., Dogs (Human-Monkey conflict), seeing of food near holy temple of lord Mahadev situated at village Helwa near the forest area, scarcity of water resources and less number of fruit tree in forest area. International audience; This essay investigates the fraught question of the measure of pain in a selection of Melville’s writings and examines how the articulation of pain is underwritten by a contest between the claims of arithmetic and the claims of literature. Closely reading scenes of thwarted measurements of pain in ‘The Encantadas’ (1854), Moby-Dick (1851), and ‘Bartleby’ (1853), it argues that, while the problem of pain for Melville may begin on the terrain of epistemology, it ends in the realm of literary representation, as the language of pain moves from figures to figuration.

Being aware of the important contributions that a sound analysis may bring to the recognition of – and the fight against – racism, we aim at examining, with this study, how Rita Baiana, Bertoleza and Firmo, three characters of Aluísio Azevedo’s Brazilian novel O Cortiço (The Slum – first published in 1890), are constructed, revealing the discursive strategies used in such construction, and the correspondences between these characters and negative stereotypes easily recognized in the Brazilian culture related to black people. To achieve our goal, we analyze excerpts of the novel with the use of elements of discursive semantics, comparing the analysis results with converging and diverging discourses of other texts, with the purposes of shedding light on the relevant issues., Sabendo da importante contribuição que podem fazer as análises sólidas para o reconhecimento e o combate ao racismo, desejamos, com o presente artigo, examinar como são construídas três personagens do romance de Aluísio Azevedo, O Cortiço (1890) – Rita Baiana, Bertoleza e Firmo, evidenciando as estratégias discursivas usadas em sua construção e as correspondências dessas personagens com estereótipos negativos reconhecidos na cultura brasileira com relação a pessoas negras.

135. Signs and figures: Some remarks about Greimas’ theory of the figurative

The paper is a first attempt to analyse Greimas’ theory of the figurative from a “philological” perspective and discuss some hitherto unresolved issues. In particular, the paper will focus on four main topics: (1) the relation with Hjelmslev’s conception of the figure, showing that while Greimas’ conception of the figure is closely related to that of Hjelmslev’s – mainly in the fact that the figure is placed below the sign – it does, however, possess quite different and peculiar features; (2) the problem of the significant nature of figures, that emerges in many writings of Greimas’ and those of his followers, in which figures are not considered elements of the content that are smaller than a sign, with no autonomous meaning, but as already significant entities; (3) the problematic distinction between the thematic and the figurative; (4) the nature and limits of a semiotics of the sensible, and the (im)possibility of redefining and studying figurativity, not as given in a text, but when first grasped at the moment of perception.

If we compare it with the fellow notion of liberty, equality has an ambivalent place in modern political thinking. Whilst it counts as one of the fundamental norms, many think that equality is valuable only as a way to realise some features of liberty. I take a historical perspective on this issue, and try to identify some of the pre-modern roots of such an ambivalent attitude towards equality. I do this by using Jacques Rancière’s political model as an analytical framework and by taking a visual route, focusing on classical iconographic representations in which equality was present in the images’ subtexts. Ambrogio Lorenzetti’s allegory of good government is one iconic exposition of equality as a positive condition of civil peace. Already there, however, the positive value of equality is counterposed to the figure of violent retributive justice. Similarly, in the Christian narrative, equality is endorsed as the original condition of creatures under God, but is also associated with violent death. This signals one pre-modern root behind the ambivalence towards equality, particularly when the latter is understood dynamically, as levelling. Such a reversal of value finds an apotheosis, I suggest, in the revolutionary icon of the guillotine, a dramatic representation of equalisation that had a strong influence on modern political thinking. In J. E. Millais’ first painting, of Jesus in the House of his Parents, I find a more positive legacy of Christian equality in modern political thinking.

This article deals with the use of figures for public action piloting in disability policy. This particular public action sector seems to lack piloting figures and comparable data for the monitoring of action in institutions in charge of granting social services for disabled persons, the Maisons départementales des personnes handicapées (MDPH). Based on fieldwork carried out since 2011 in this sector, this article reveals that the production of specific activity figures requires resource mobilisation and precise tasks on the part of organisations. The production of activity data therefore can reflect the autonomy of these administrative organisations. In limiting the capacity of these organisations specifically tasked with benefits attribution decisions, political authorities have also limited the autonomy they could in theory have claimed, and, in so doing, have limited their capacity to make these decisions independently of the political configurations and economic situations within which these benefits are recognised

Introduction to Allegory: Aliud Verbis, Aliud Sensu The unclear and dispersive content of allegory as a figure which presents one thing in words and another in meaning with its etymology and rhetorical definitions (aliud verbis, aliud sensu); its protean rhetorical-stylistic, hermeneutic, and generic character; and its substantial presence in aesthetically rich literary texts, from canonic texts and philosophical and didactic poems and tractates, all the way to trivial and referential genres-eludes disciplined investigation of allegory within the framework of just one scientific field. In the history of allegory there are records of different humanistic, scientific paradigms with varying emphasis, which for heuristic purposes can be broken down into several focal points: rhetorical-stylistic facticity of allegory, receptive process of reading/interpreting allegory, allegory as a literary type/category. By following the denoted focal points, along with exploring the theoretical-historical heritage, this study investigates the (figurative) tropological, hermeneutic and literary-theoretical content of allegory and thereby begins to open a significantly broader investigative field.

It is often assumed that the human brain processes the global and local properties of visual stimuli in a lateralized fashion, with a left hemisphere (LH) specialization for local detail, and a right hemisphere (RH) specialization for global form. However, the evidence for such global-local lateralization stems predominantly from studies using linguistic stimuli, the processing of which has shown to be LH lateralized in itself. In addition, some studies have reported a reversal of global-local lateralization when using non-linguistic stimuli. Accordingly, it remains unclear whether global-local lateralization may in fact be stimulus-specific. To address this issue, we asked participants to respond to linguistic and non-linguistic stimuli that were presented in the right and left visual fields, allowing for first access by the LH and RH, respectively. The results showed global-RH and local-LH advantages for both stimulus types, but the global lateralization effect was larger for linguistic stimuli. Furthermore, this pattern of results was found to be robust, as it was observed regardless of two other task manipulations. We conclude that the instantiation and direction of global and local lateralization is not stimulus-specific. However, the magnitude of global,-but not local-, lateralization is dependent on stimulus type. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

145. Anadiplosis in Shakespearean Drama.
- Author
-
WALKER, WILLIAM
- Abstract
A complex definition of the figure, anadiplosis, develops in the tradition that runs fromancient Greek and Roman rhetoricians up to sixteenth-century continental rhetorical theorists such as Susenbrotus. Drawing on and enriching this tradition, the English rhetoricians of Shakespeare's day defined the figure as the repetition of the word or words with which one phrase or line ends, at or near the beginning of the succeeding phrase or line. A series of anadiploses was understood to make for a gradatio (or climax). Having been schooled in these and other definitions of the tropes and figures, Shakespeare implements anadiplosis, as well as the rhetoricians' rich metaphorical description of it, in his text. In so doing, he enhances his representation of people who are impassioned, thoughtful, witty, deranged, and ridiculous. In keeping with the rhetoricians' recognition of the polysemy of the figure, Shakespeare also implements this figure to narrate events and make some of them seem inevitable (usually in history and tragedy) and others unlikely (usually in comedy). The Shakespearean script also frequently includes dialogic anadiplosis: the sharing of the figure by two speakers. In this form, it plays a significant role in Shakespeare's creation of authentic dialogue. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

At in Parmenidem 3.826.19-827.18, within the context of a discussion concerning the extent of the world of Forms, Proclus addresses the problem of the Forms of attributes. He admits of Forms of substantial attributes, however denies the existence of Forms corresponding to mere accidental attributes. In the last lines of the passage, he contends that we should also posit Forms of figure and number. These opaque lines have been neglected in previous scholarship, with the sole exception of the recent Budé edition of the text, where it is argued that since figures and numbers cannot be conceived of as attributes, the paragraph is thus out of place as it stands. This article aims to show that such an interpretation is mistaken and that the paragraph indeed belongs to the discussion of the Forms of attributes insofar as figures and numbers are regarded here as attributes--more precisely, as substantial attributes. Late Ordovician (Hirnantian) glacio-marine deposits in the Central and Eastern Taurides and Southeast Anatolian Autochthon Belt (SAAB) in Turkey are mainly composed of diamictites, subrounded granitic pebbles, and rounded/ subrounded lonestone pebbles. The granitic pebbles are dated as 576.5±3.3, 576.7±5.7, 598.4±7.5, 717.5±8.0, 789.5± 3.7, and 964.6±4.6 Ma. The geochemical signatures and dated granitic pebbles in the Central and Eastern Taurides are interpreted to have been derived from the Late Neoproterozoic granitoids/metagranitic rocks of the Arabian-Nubian Shield (ANS; the Sinai Peninsula and the Eastern Desert of Egypt). The youngest 206Pb/238U ages in the diamictites (499.1±4.2Ma in the SAAB, 530.5±5.3Ma in the Eastern Taurides, and 562.5±5.4Ma in the Central Taurides) and in the lonestones (528.2±4.5Ma in the Central Taurides, 530.8±5.2Ma in the Eastern Taurides) indicate that detrital zircons were directly transported mainly from the northern margin of Gondwana and/or Arabia during the Late Ordovician, not from peri-Gondwanan parts of the European margin. Kernel/probability density diagrams of zircon ages from the lonestone pebbles in the Eastern and Central Taurides are interpreted as evidence for their derivation from Late/Middle Cambrian siliciclastic rocks in the Israeli part of the Sinai Peninsula. The provenance of detrital zircon populations in the diamictites in the Central and Eastern Taurides is directly correlated with magmatic activity of the Elat (Taba)-Feiran island arc, the Sa'al island arc, and the postcollisionalmagmatic suites in the Sinai Peninsula (Egypt). However, the corresponding successions in the SAAB have more abundant Late Cryogenian age components, suggesting the Ha'il/Afif/Ad Dawadimi/Ar-Rayn terranes of the eastern Arabian Shield as their provenance. These distinctive age patterns indicate that glacio-marine successions in the SAAB had different paleogeographic positions than their equivalent units in theCentral and Eastern Taurides during deposition of the LateOrdovician glacio-marine units.
