To grow in nutrient‐deprived tumor microenvironment, cancer cells often internalize and degrade extracellular proteins to refuel intracellular amino acids. However, the nutrient acquisition routes reported by previous studies are mainly restricted in autophagy‐lysosomal pathway. It remains largely unknown if other protein degradation systems also contribute to the utilization of extracellular nutrients. Herein, it is demonstrated that under amino acid starvation, extracellular protein internalization through macropinocytosis and protein degradation through ubiquitin‐proteasome system are activated as a nutrient supply route, sensitizing cancer cells to proteasome inhibition. By inhibiting both macropinocytosis and ubiquitin‐proteasome system, an innovative approach to intensify amino acid starvation for cancer therapy is presented. To maximize therapeutic efficacy and minimize systemic side effects, a pH‐responsive polymersome nanocarrier is developed to deliver therapeutic agents specifically to tumor tissues. Using a solid-state reaction strategy, nominal Li3TiO3F oxyfluorides ceramics were fabricated, and its sintering behavior, microstructure, phase assemblages, as well as microwave dielectric performances were all investigated. The main phase of Li3TiO3F with cubic structures accompanied with small amounts of the LiF or Li2TiO3 secondary phase was identified by XRD analysis. SEM analysis showed that a uniform and dense microstructure was obtained for 750 °C-sintered samples. The dielectric constant (εr) and quality factor (Q × f) were found to be strongly correlated with porosity and grain size distribution, whereas the temperature coefficient of resonance frequency (τf) was mainly dominated by the phase assemblages. In particular, the 750 °C-sintered Li3TiO3F samples exhibited good microwave dielectric performances: εr = 18, Q × f = 57,300 GHz (under 9.2 GHz), τf = −43.0 ppm/°C. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Although children with learning disabilities are often considered to be a heterogeneous group, they are always situated in specific social surroundings such as schools and families with which they interact dynamically in everyday life. Therefore, peer acceptance and family functioning may be related to the loneliness experienced by children with learning disabilities. This study explores the characteristics of loneliness and peer acceptance among children with learning disabilities and discusses the relationships among loneliness, peer acceptance, and family functioning. The results indicate that children with learning disabilities reported higher degrees of loneliness, but lower levels of peer acceptance; significant correlations existed between peer acceptance and loneliness, and between peer acceptance and family functioning; however, no significant correlations were found between loneliness and family functioning.
