Abstract

Rehmannia glutinosa root contains many compounds with important medicinal properties and nutritional benefits, but only more than 140 compounds have been reported so far. Many other compounds and their accumulation and metabolic networks during its development remain unclear. In order to clarify them, its metabolic profiles at three different developmental stages were analyzed using untargeted LC-MS analysis. Multivariate analysis revealed that 434 metabolites differently accumulated in its different stages, suggesting different change trends. The metabolites having the same trend share common metabolic pathways, the metabolites showing increasing contents during its development have medical and nutritional values, and some mature root-specific metabolites may be better candidates for its quality control; 434 metabolites were mapped onto 111 KEGG pathways including 62 enzymes, whose increasing and decreasing patterns were shown during its development. Some metabolites complicatedly interacted with some enzymes and the top-10 pathways enriched from 111 KEGG pathways in network analysis. These findings extended the dataset of its identified compounds, and revealed that its development and quality were associated with the accumulation of different metabolites. Our work will lay the foundation for the better understanding of its chemical constituents, quality and developmental mechanism.

Abstract

An ultra-high angular velocity and minor-caliber high-precision stably control technology application for active-optics image-motion compensation, is put forward innovatively in this paper. The image blur problem due to several 100°/s high-velocity relative motion between imaging system and target is theoretically analyzed. The velocity match model of detection system and active optics compensation system is built, and active optics image motion compensation platform experiment parameters are designed. Several 100°/s high-velocity high-precision control optics compensation technology is studied and implemented. The relative motion velocity is up to 250°/s, and image motion amplitude is more than 20 pixel. After the active optics compensation, motion blur is less than one pixel. The bottleneck technology of ultra-high angular velocity and long exposure time in searching and infrared detection system is successfully broke through.

Abstract

Green purchasing behavior is of great significance to the realization of carbon reduction goals. Through in‐depth interviews, this study uses new energy vehicles to explore the driving factors of green purchase. It applies grounded theory for a qualitative analysis, the results of which show that behavior motivation, behavior intentions, residential characteristics, social norms, behavior ability, and institutional and technological context are the main factors of green purchase, albeit in inconsistent ways. It is found that behavior motivation indirectly affects green purchase through behavior intention; residents' characteristics, behavioral ability, social norms, and the institutional and technological context have moderating effects on the relationship between behavior intention and green purchase, indicating the existence of an "intention–behavior" gap. The study proposes the comprehensive model of Motivation–Intention–Context–Behavior to explain the driving factors for green purchase and provides policy implications on marketing strategy to companies producing green products. Abstract

Hyperspectral data has rich spectrum information, strong correlation between bands and high data redundancy. Feature band extraction of hyperspectral data is a prerequisite and an important basis for the subsequent study of classification and target recognition. Deep belief network is a kind of deep learning model, the paper proposed a deep belief network to realize the characteristics band extraction of hyperspectral data, and use the advantages of unsupervised and supervised learning of deep belief network, and to extract feature bands of spectral data from low level to high-level gradually. The extracted feature band has a stronger discriminant performance, so that it can better to classify hyperspectral data. Finally, the AVIRIS data is used to extract the feature band, and the SVM classifier is used to classify the data, which verifies the effectiveness of the method.

Abstract

A novel Co3O4‐ and AgCl‐doped three‐dimensional architectures polypyrrole (PPy/Co3O4/AgCl) composite was demonstrated as an excellent adsorbent to remove chromium effectively by an in situ oxidation polymerization using FeCl3 as the oxidant. The achieved adsorption capacity was 69.9 mg g−1. The as‐synthesized PPy/Co3O4/AgCl composite is suitable for chromium adsorption in a wide pH range. A chemical rather than a physical adsorption occurred for these adsorbents as revealed by a pseudo‐second‐order kinetic study. The results of the adsorption isotherms showed that the adsorption process was similar to the Langmuir isotherm adsorption. Furthermore, the PPy/Co3O4/AgCl composite exhibited a high stability for chromium adsorption during recycling tests process. POLYM. Abstract

The effect of ventilation during the multiplication stage on the development of propagules from different clones of jojoba \[Simmondsia chinensis (Link) Schneider\] was investigated. Variation in the response to ventilation was due to genotype, the extent of ventilation, and to the period of exposure (transfer number). With intermediate ventilation treatments, propagules elongated to a greater extent and produced more dry biomass than propagules grown without ventilation. In the highest ventilation treatment, however, growth parameters were negatively affected. More importantly, propagules grown with moderate ventilation produced more plant material suitable for further multiplication and for the elongation stage than those grown in sealed tubes – the vessels used in our original micropropagation system. Abstract

A new process was proposed by integrating a three-dimensional biofilm electrode reactor with sulfur autotrophic denitrification and electrocoagulation within the same reactor. The results indicated that under the wastewater influent condition of NO 3 − -N = 30 mg/L, COD = 45 mg/L, total phosphorus (TP) = 1.5 mg/L, hydraulic retention time (HRT) = 8 h, and I = 400 mA, the NO 3 − -N and TP removal of the proposed process reached 89.8% and 83.0%, respectively. It was observed that the electrocoagulation process improved phosphorus removal, while the simultaneous existence of heterotrophic, hydrogen, sulfur and iron autotrophic denitrifying bacteria led to enhanced and stabilized nitrogen removal. The Sulfuritalea hydrogenivorans sk43H and Sulfuricella denitrificans skB26 were found as the dominant denitrifying bacteria in the electrocoagulation section and the section of biofilm electrode with sulfur filler, respectively. As compared to conventional technologies, the proposed new process can achieve simultaneous, stable and deep nitrogen and phosphorus removal from wastewater treatment plant effluent with low organic carbon content. Abstract

Polypyrrole/NiFe2O4 (PPy/NiFe2O4) composites were prepared by ultrasonic oxidative polymerization in the presence of NiFe2O4 nanoparticles (NPs). The nanostructure of PPy/NiFe2O4 was confirmed by the X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) examinations. The adsorption of Cr(VI) onto the PPy/NiFe2O4 composite was lowly pH dependent and the adsorption kinetics followed the Pseudo-second-order model. The Langmuir isothermal model well described the adsorption isotherm data and the maximum adsorption capacity increased with the increase of temperature. The maximum adsorption capacity of the PPy/NiFe2O4 for Cr(VI) ions was up to 50 mg/g at pH 2.0. The excellent adsorption characteristic of PPy/NiFe2O4 composite will render it a highly efficient and economically viable adsorbent for Cr(VI) ions removal. POLYM.
