Smart city development plays an important role in achieving urban sustainability. This paper uses mapping of knowledge domain (MKD) analysis to review 965 studies concerning smart city development and urban sustainability (SCDUS). The most influential journals, scholars, articles, keywords, and regions in the SCDUS research field are identified. Research findings also reveal four prevailing topic clusters in the current SCDUS field, namely information technology, energy and environment, urban transportation and mobility, and urban policy and development planning. Potential research frontiers are further proposed. The findings contribute to a better understanding of the development of current SCDUS research. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective To explore whether different drainage methods have positive effects on HIV positive patients with cryptococcal meningitis (CM). Methods From January 2017 to December 2019, 40 patients with HIV positive CM were treated in the Department of Infectious Diseases of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University and Nanning Infectious Diseases Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi Medical University. 20 patients with continuous lumbar drainage were selected as the observation group and 20 patients with regular lumbar puncture drainage were enrolled into the control group. The clinical manifestations, CD4 count, cerebrospinal fluid examination and cryptococcal ink staining results of patients before and after treatment were recorded. Results There was no significant difference in general data between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05). After treatment, the white blood cell count [(28.70±12.04)x106/L vs(68.80±34.71)x106/L] and protein content [(477.25±198.61)mg/L vs(712.15±427.89)mg/L] in cerebrospinal fluid decreased significantly in the observation group, and similar results were found in the control group (P<0.001). The CD4 count [observation group(31.30±22.00)cells/μL, control group(27.70±20.18)cells/μL], cerebrospinal fluid sugar [observation grou(3.41±0.62)mmol/L, control group(2.80± 0.77)mmol/L] and chloride [observation group(127.78±9.47)mmol/L, control group(125.25±8.03)mmol/L] in the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment (P<0.05). There were significant differences in CD4/CD8, leukocyte count and sugar content between the two groups (P<0.05). After treatment, the symptoms of headache and nausea/vomiting in the observation group were better than those in the control group. Finally, continuous lumbar drainage was effective in 15 cases and ineffective in 5 cases, regular lumbar puncture drainage was effective in 7 cases. Conclusion In the treatment of cryptococcal meningitis, continuous lumbar drainage can quickly relieve clinical symptoms, accelerate the renewal of cerebrospinal fluid and shorten the clearance time of pathogens, which is worthy of clinical application. Public attitudes and sentiments are considered important factors driving the development of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in China, yet few studies have effectively articulated the public attitudes and sentiments on a national scale. Social media platforms provide open and large-scale data on how the public views NEVs. Accordingly, based on data collected from Sina Weibo, the largest open social media platform in China, this study adopts web crawler and text mining to explore public attitudes and sentiments toward NEVs. The results show that the majority of NEVs followers belong to the media and broadcasting unit, which may lead to exaggerated advertising of NEVs performance. Public pay more attention to NEVs in environmental pollution and developed economies regions than others. In addition, it is found that the public is generally concerned about driving range, policies, battery charging and safety performance, and NEVs-related attributes. Some interesting findings are that preferential policies such as unrestricted driving are more popular with the public than tax incentives, and the public attaches a high degree of importance to the brand in the attributes of NEVs. Moreover, the Chinese public has relatively positive sentiments on NEVs, mainly due to the impact of China's carbon reduction targets. Negative sentiments are mainly due to safety and battery technology issues. Finally, some policy implications derived from the discussion are given. Construction noise has become a critical environmental pollution source with serious impacts due to rapid urbanization in China. However, studies on construction noise pollution throughout the country are lacking. Meanwhile, emerging social media enables real-time information exchange and can act as a society monitoring sensor. Accordingly, this study employs an innovative approach utilizing web crawler technology and text mining to investigate national construction noise pollution from public feedback on social media platforms. Results showed that construction noise pollution was more severe at around 4:00 am, while more serious in the morning than in the afternoon at the national level. At the regional level, construction noise is most pronounced in the second quarter, relatively light in the first quarter, and generally more severe in the northeast areas. Besides, a weak positive correlation was explored between the construction noise severity and regional economic development. Moreover, through the policy content analysis, the important measures summarized from regional policies were categorized into different groups with the demonstration of recommended practical policy settings. The framework and findings of this study provide a theoretical and practical reference and guideline for future environmental investigation, noise management strategy development, and related policy formulation. Reverse logistics (RL) is crucial for construction and demolition (C&D) waste management. In practice, information sharing (IS) is considered as an effective means to strengthen the coordination among stakeholders, so as to deliver in time, reduce costs, and address the mismatch between demand and supply of RL. However, the adoption of IS in RL of C&D waste is dissatisfactory due to various barriers, and these barriers inevitably affect each other. Furthermore, the interrelationships among barriers systematically affect the significance of each barrier in the adoption of IS because a particular barrier could present significant challenges to IS through its interrelationship with other barriers. Prior studies have explored strategies to remove these barriers, but few analyzed their complex interrelationships. To fill the gap, this study aims to identify the major barriers systematically and to analyze their hierarchical relationships by using interpretive structural modeling (ISM) and Matrice d'Impacts Croisés Multiplication Appliquée à un Classement (MICMAC). To start with, a total of 23 preliminary barriers were identified through relevant literatures. Then, 14 major barriers were screened out and the adjacency matrix was established through the feedback from the 11 experts. The corresponding reachability matrix was obtained with Python software, and a hierarchical structure was developed to further analysis. These major barriers were classified into multiple categories based on the calculation of driving power and dependence power. Meanwhile, the findings reveal that lack of certainty in market environment, lack of trust among stakeholders, and lack of government support are the three most important barriers negatively influencing the IS in RL of C&D waste. This study helps scholars understand the intricate relationships between barriers and also provides an effective way to combine ISM and MICMAC techniques. Building information modeling (BIM) can theoretically facilitate collaboration among diverse design participants in construction projects, but in practice, its implementation tends to prolong the design period. Existing literature has examined some technical and managerial causes of this problem but still lacks an overall coverage of related factors. This study aims to identify the comprehensive factors affecting the teamwork efficiency in China's BIM-based collaborative design, and to investigate the critical factors and their interactions. Based on the input-process-output theory, this study initially established a hypothetical model. Potential factors were further identified through the literature review and semi-structured interviews. Questionnaire survey was conducted, and structural equation modeling was used for analysis. The results indicated that the team cooperation atmosphere is the most significant factor, followed by the collaborators' learning ability, comfort of the working environment, BIM software function, and the characteristics and arrangement of the design task (CADT). Besides, the CADT negatively affects the teamwork efficiency through the human interaction process, while other factors exert positive impacts by affecting both the personal work process and the human interaction process. The findings can help design units to determine the management focus of BIM-based collaborative design and prioritize the allocation of limited resources accordingly to maximize teamwork efficiency. Green building (GB) incentives help address the barriers in GB development. After years of practice, the GB market is becoming mature; thus, these incentives should be adjusted to adapt to the market transformation. However, adjusting incentives can affect stakeholders' motives and concerns, which in turn influence stakeholders' attitudes towards green buildings. Therefore, going back to the basics and understanding how an incentive scheme works before implementing any adjustment are important for policymakers. This study aims to reveal how incentive mechanism design affects stakeholders' choices of GB levels in tangible and intangible ways. The Gross Floor Area Concession Scheme implemented in Hong Kong is selected as a case study. Cost–benefit analysis, particularly transaction cost, and the analytical hierarchy process method are used to evaluate the costs and benefits in terms of monetary value and importance. Then, a causal loop diagram is constructed to explain the incentive mechanism. Results show that although actual costs and benefits are more important than hidden ones, transaction cost can be a decisive factor for selecting GB levels. Cost–benefit analysis with transaction cost considerations should be conducted to improve GB incentives. In addition, fast sales of high levels of GB can be a critical compensation for extra costs. Alternatives for improving incentives are also provided based on the findings. This study helps enrich the incentive mechanism for promoting high levels of GB. • A science mapping-based review on WMSDs among construction workers was conducted. • Key collaboration networks in WMSDs among construction workers are visualized. • Mainstream research topics within the studied research domain are discussed. • Research gaps and directions for future studies are proposed. Introduction : Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) are recognized as a leading cause of nonfatal injuries in construction, but no review of existing studies has systematically analyzed and visualized the trends of WMSDs among construction workers. The current science mapping-based review summarized research published between 2000 and 2021 related to WMSDs among construction workers through co-word, co-author, and citation analysis. Method: A total of 63 bibliographic records retrieved from the Scopus database were analyzed. Results: The results identified influential authors with high impacts in this research domain. Moreover, the results indicated that MSDs, ergonomics, and construction not only had the highest occurrence of been studied, but also the highest impact in terms of total link strength. In addition, the most significant contributions to research relating to WMSDs among construction workers have originated primarily from the United States, Hong Kong, and Canada. Furthermore, a follow-up in-depth qualitative discussion was conducted to focus on summarizing mainstream research topics, identifying existing research gaps, and proposing directions for future studies.
