Abstract

Transition metal phosphides (TMPs) are regarded as highly active electrocatalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). However, traditional synthetic routes usually use expensive and dangerous precursors as P donors. The development of a low‐cost and ecofriendly method for the synthesis of TMPs is significant for sustainable energy development. Herein, cobalt phosphides anchored on or embedded in a spirulina‐derived porous N‐doped carbon matrix (Co2P/NC) was fabricated by two‐step hydrothermal treatment and carbonization method, which utilized the intrinsic C, N, and P of biomass cleverly as the sources of C, N, and P, respectively. As a result of the high surface area and porosity that enhance the mass‐transfer dynamics, Co2P/NC shows good electrocatalytic activity at all pH values in the HER. This work not only provides a facile and effective method for the fabrication of TMP nanoparticles loaded onto carbon materials but also opens a new strategy for the utilization of the intrinsic ingredients of biomass for the preparation of other functional electrocatalysts. Abstract

Methods of converting carbon dioxide into valuable chemicals are of great demand but their development is still challenging. Herein, we developed an efficient, green and facile synthetic method for the preparation of a Fe-cyanide complex. The target catalyst showed high catalytic activity for the cyclic reaction of carbon dioxide and epoxide under solvent free conditions and ambient pressure. Meanwhile, the effects of morphology of different catalysts on their catalytic activities were also investigated by the kinetic and thermodynamic studies. In addition, the catalyst could be recycled and reused for at least five successive cycles without significant decrease in the catalytic activity. This target catalyst thus represents one of the efficient and recyclable systems reported for the cyclic reaction in industry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

With working frequency voltage and current, mutual inductance voltage up to 30kV and mutual inductance current up to 50A, measuring instruments can not offset mutual inductance voltage and mutual inductance current interference. The current test mutual inductance parameter must be the same poles of two lines powering outage at the same time. To solve this technical problem, development of transmission lines mutual inductance parameter live testing device, using the device can be achieved under the condition with the tower and rack (or parallel) lines of other circuits running live tests mutual inductance parameters. And expounds the hazards of mutual inductance parameters in the grid and discusses the theoretical basis of the live test equipment and major components.

Abstract

A facile and scaled-up synthesis route to efficient and environment-friendly metal oxide catalysts with desirable properties is of great practical importance, owing to their excellent performance as heterogeneous catalysts in organic synthesis. Herein, a novel amorphous Fe2O3modified Mn3O4catalyst (Fe5Mn5-100) has been prepared by adopting a simple co-precipitation method following low temperature baking. Fe5Mn5-100 showed exceptionally high catalytic activity for the atom-economic production of imine from benzyl alcohol with aniline, giving a 98% imine yield at 60 °C in only 3 h, which is higher than all of the reported non-noble and noble metal catalysts. Importantly, Fe5Mn5-100 could still exhibit extraordinary catalytic performance on a large-scale reaction without any solvent, including the frequently used toxic mesitylene, xylene or toluene. Interestingly, the amorphous Fe2O3-100 provided no catalytic activity, and pure Mn3O4-100 showed very inferior catalytic activity towards this reaction. Further detailed characterizations and experimental results revealed that amorphous Fe2O3plays an important role in expediting the [O] transfer cycle of Mn3+/Mn2+in Mn3O4, and enhances the oxidation ability and acidity of Fe5Mn5-100. This discovery would provide a new avenue for the atom-economic and environment-friendly industrial synthesis of imine.
