113. Stable Plasma Sample Storage in Acetonitrile for Angiotensin and Aldosterone Analysis.

Abstract

Background Angiotensin I, II (AI, AII) and aldosterone are unstable in plasma specimens at room temperature, making it difficult for collect samples for remote regions in centralized and collaborative studies. Here we introduce a stable storage method which do not require cold conditions.. Methods Acetonitrile was added to the plasma to 60%, and then the supernatants were kept at 4°C and room temperature for 0, 1, 2, 3, 10 and 30 days. AI, AII and aldosterone were extracted and analyzed by chemiluminescence immunoassays. Results AI, AII and aldosterone were well retained in the supernatant under this method. The intra- and inter-day CVs of this method were all below 10%. The levels of AI, AII and aldosterone by this method remained stable for 30 days at room temperature. Conclusion Addition of 60% acetonitrile in the plasma provides a stable storage method for clinical AI, AII and aldosterone. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Substantial increase in the amount of civil aviation traffic and other factors have led to frequent congestion and adverse effects in terminal area. Therefore, the landing sequence of aircrafts need to be managed so as to reduce adverse effects. This type of problem is called Aircraft Landing Problem (ALP), and is an optimization problem. In this paper, the current situation of ALP research is analysed. The specific process of landing is described, and the existing research problems are classified. At the same time, on the aspect of optimization, this paper discusses the optimization processing of ALP, including the establishment of optimization model and the design of optimization algorithm. In the last, the future research trend of ALP is proposed as conclusions.

115. Phlegmasia Cerulea Dolens in the Upper Extremity: A Case Report and Literature Review

Abstract

Phlegmasia cerulea dolens (PCD) is a rare condition characterized by deep venous thrombosis with gangrene. It can result in critically severe edema that affects the blood supply to the limbs. PCD generally occurs in the lower rather than upper extremity. We herein present a case report of upper extremity PCD and discuss thrombophilia secondary to low protein S activity as the main cause. Catheter-directed thrombolysis via the occluded end of the artery may be one of the best treatment methods for PCD.

Abstract

Water footprint(WF) method is a common way to study the water resources pressure in recent years.The total water footprint of China from 1997 to 2002 were calculated by using water footprint method based on the input-output tables in this paper,the method for calculating the water consumption coefficients was improved,and the method for calculating the gray water footprint based on dilution theory was studied in the paper.The external water footprints,the extra water footprints and the corresponding coefficients were also calculated,and the goods(services) structures of the water footprint consumption were analyzed in this study.The results showed that the annual WF of China had a downward trend from 1997 to 2007,with an average annual of 2.83 trillion cubic meters,in which the blue WF was 218.3 billion cubic meters and the gray WF was 2.62 trillion cubic meters(accounting to the third level surface water quality standards).The indirect water footprint accounted for 90% of the total WF,which meant the pressure of water resources mainly comes from the consumption of goods or services.The WF of China depends on self-sufficiency largely,and at the same time China bears a large proportion of the water pressure of other countries,but which has a it shows a downward trend on the whole.In the sight of the structure of goods or services,the diet-related goods or services occupied a higher proportion of WF.

124. Context-adaptive matching for optical flow.

Abstract

Modern sparse-to-dense optical flow estimation algorithms usually achieve state-of-art performance. Those algorithms need two steps: matching and interpolation. Matching is often unreliable for very large displacement optical flow due to illumination changes, deformations and occlusion etc. Moreover, conspicuous errors around motion discontinuities still keep serious as most methods consider edge only at interpolation step. The context-adaptive matching (CAM) is proposed for optical flow which is better at large displacement and edge preserving. The CAM is selective in feature extraction, adaptive in flow propagation and search radius adjusting. Selective features are proposed to consider edge preserving in matching step. Except for the usually used SIFT descriptor, the local directional pattern flow (LDPF) is introduced to keep more edge structure, and the oriented fast and rotated brief (ORB) is utilized to select out several most similar candidates. Unlike coarse-to-fine matching, which proposed a propagation step with only neighbors, we propose adaptive propagation to extend the matching candidates in order to improve the possibility of getting right correspondences. Furthermore, guided by prior knowledge and taking advantage of upper layers results, adaptive radius instead of constrained radius are proposed at finer layers. The CAM interpolated by EpicFlow is fast and robust for large displacements especially for fast moving objects and also preserves the edge structure well. Extensive experiments show that our algorithm is on par with the state-of-art optical flow methods on MPI-Sintel, KITTI and Middlebury. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Das Thema meiner Diplomarbeit lautet, warum die TCM als eine konstruierte Realität von Shu Shu nicht von ihrer theoretischen und kulturellen Bedingung abbringen lassen und diese nicht verleugnen darf. Was Shu Shu unter dem Gesichtspunkt seines geistesgeschichtlichen Hintergrundes eigentlich ist, und wie Shu Shu von mathematischer Formeln zu unterscheiden ist, wird im Kapitel 1 ausführlich dargestellt. Im Kapitel 2 erfahren wir, wie die Mikrowelten (wie zB Zang-Xiang-System) der TCM im Rahmen der Shu-Shu-Lehre verstanden und dargestellt werden können. Im Kapitel 3 setze ich mich mit der Fragestellung auseinander, ob wir die heutige chinesische Medizin außerhalb des Rahmens der Shu-Shu-Lehre entwickelt werden könnte. Zu der Antwort, dass dies keinesfalls möglich ist, komme ich schließlich in nachvollziehbarer Weise mit Hilfe des Konstruktiven Realismus und seiner verschiedenen Interdisziplinaritätenkonzeptionen. 147. Selective laser melting of 316L–CuCrZr bimetallic structure via IN718 transition layer

Abstract

Steel/copper bimetallic structural materials combine the good strength and corrosion resistance of steel with the high thermal and wear resistance of copper and have been widely used in fusion reactors, conformal cooling channels, and heat transfer devices. Due to the large difference in thermal and physical properties of steel and copper, and the immiscibility of steel and copper, the bonding interface usually produces a large residual stress during the forming process, which leads to the formation of interface cracks. In order to combine CuCrZr with 316L stainless steel by using selective laser melting technology, IN718 was deposited on 316L stainless steel as a transition layer. The effects of the IN718 alloy transition layer on the microstructure, phase composition, and mechanical properties of the interface of 316L–CuCrZr were studied. IN718–316L had no defects such as pores and cracks at the interface and achieved good metallurgical bonding. The IN718–CuCrZr interface area and copper side had round key holes and relatively small pores. In the solidification process, IN718 preferentially solidified in the shape of fine particles, providing a nucleation point for the copper grain, thus forming equiaxed grains because of the high cooling rate of the interface. No macroscopic defects were observed at the bonding position of the 316L–IN718–CuCrZr samples, and the elements at the interface were fully diffused by each other. The tensile strength of the 316L–IN718–CuCrZr samples reached 403 MPa, and the interface strength was significantly improved upon the addition of the transition layer.

Abstract

Short texts on social platforms often suffer from insufficient emotional semantic expressions, sparse features, and polysemy. To enhance the accuracy achieved by sentiment analysis for short texts, this paper proposes an emoji-based multifeature fusion sentiment analysis model (EMFSA). The model mines the sentiments of emojis, topics, and text features. Initially, a pretraining method for feature extraction is employed to enhance the semantic expressions of emotions in text by extracting contextual semantic information from emojis. Following this, a sentiment- and emoji-masked language model is designed to prioritize the masking of emojis and words with implicit sentiments, focusing on learning the emotional semantics contained in text. Additionally, we proposed a multifeature fusion method based on a cross-attention mechanism by determining the importance of each word in a text from a topic perspective. Next, this method is integrated with the original semantic information of emojis and the enhanced text features, attaining improved sentiment representation accuracy for short texts. Comparative experiments conducted with the state-of-the-art baseline methods on three public datasets demonstrate that the proposed model achieves accuracy improvements of 2.3%, 10.9%, and 2.7%, respectively, validating its effectiveness. 150. Determining optimal number of cores in a submarine power cable

Abstract

Submarine power cables must be reinforced and must possess suitable mechanical properties to meet operational requirements for complex marine environments. This study numerically investigated the mechanical properties of submarine power cables under tensile, torsional, and compressive loading. The optimal number of cores was determined according to the variation in tensile and torsional stiffness with radial compressive pressure. As the radial compressive pressure increased, the tensile and torsional stiffness of the four- and five-core cable models decreased marginally compared with those of the three-core cable model; thus, the five-core cable model was superior to the two-, three-, and four-core cable models in terms of radial deformation and contact stress. The two-core cable model was superior to the three-, four-, and five-core cable models in terms of tensile and torsional strength. The results of this study can serve as a reference in the design of submarine power cables.
