En esta tesis se mide el rol de la modalidad de teletrabajo como mitigador de los impactos de un shock como la pandemia de COVID-19 en el mercado laboral argentino utilizando la estructura de paneles rotativos de la Encuesta Permanente de Hogares (EPH). Dado que no se cuenta con información sobre la composición de tareas de las ocupaciones para Argentina, se estima el potencial de teletrabajo en base a tres encuestas diferentes: O*NET, PIAAC, y STEP, para luego extrapolarlo a la Clasificación Nacional de Ocupaciones (CNO). De este modo es posible analizar cómo la viabilidad del teletrabajo se relaciona con los resultados del mercado laboral a nivel individual. Se encuentra que, durante el pico de las restricciones frente a la pandemia, el potencial de teletrabajo está positivamente correlacionado con la probabilidad de estar activo y con la probabilidad de estar ocupado. Estos efectos se concentran en la submuestra de trabajadores “no esenciales”. Por el contrario, no se encuentran efectos sistemáticos del teletrabajo potencial en las transiciones de empleo entre 2017 y 2018 y entre 2018 y 2019. The direct synthesis of dimethyl ether (DME) on bifunctional catalysts is highly attractive for valorizing CO2 and syngas derived from biomass gasification and is a key process to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. DME economy (conventionally based on its use as fuel) arouses growing interest, in parallel with the development of different routes for its conversion into hydrocarbons (fuels and chemicals) and H-2 production. This review, after analyzing different routes and catalytic processes for the valorization of CO2, focuses on studies regarding the thermodynamics of the direct synthesis of DME and the advances in the development of new catalysts. Compared to the synthesis of methanol and the synthesis of DME in two stages, carrying out the reactions of methanol synthesis and its dehydration to DME in the same reactor favors the formation of DME from CO2 and from CO2 co-fed with syngas. Starting from the experience for syngas feedstocks, numerous catalysts have been studied. The first catalysts were physical mixtures or composites prepared by extrusion of methanol synthesis catalysts (CuO-ZnO with different carriers and promoters) and dehydration catalysts (mainly gamma-Al2O3 and HZSM-5 zeolite). The performance of the catalysts has been progressively improved with different modifications of the composition and properties of the components to upturn the activity (lower for the hydrogenation of CO2 than for CO) and selectivity, and to minimize the deactivation by coke and by sintering of the metallic function. The core-shell configuration of the bifunctional catalyst allows physically separating the environments of the reactions of methanol synthesis and its conversion into DME. The confinement facilitates the extent of both reactions and improves the stability of the catalyst, since the synergies of the deactivation mechanisms are eliminated. Esta investigación pretende hacer frente a una problemática aún persistente en Colombia: la configuración de “silencios archivísticos”, enfatizando para ello en los archivos de los grupos armados no estatales. Con esta visión y a través de un estudio de caso se realiza un recorrido que da cuenta de cómo dichos actores aprovechan y confeccionan a su favor vacíos legales e inacciones institucionales, que favorece que sus memorias y aportes al esclarecimiento del conflicto, sea solo de carácter testimonial, evitando dar como una contribución a la verdad su propia memoria documental, en la medida que saben esta puede contradecirlos o dejar al descubierto verdades que ellos no quieren pronunciar. La investigación pretende ampliar la gama de archivos para entender el conflicto armado colombiano, incluyendo en la agenda los archivos de los grupos armados no estatales quienes son actores de la vida política nacional que desempeñan un papel determinante en ella, por lo que es necesario que sus archivos también se instalen como recursos que permitan entender el conflicto, y contribuir al esclarecimiento de la verdad que desde iniciativas institucionales y no institucionales se desarrollen. Tomando como referencia el contexto en el que nos encontramos actualmente, derivado de una pandemia que avecina una crisis económica, y partiendo de una revisión previa sobre las ventajas y los inconvenientes que proporcionan el uso de materiales autoconstruidos en las clases de educación física, puede ser más necesario que nunca construir nuestros propios materiales a partir de objetos cotidianos que supongan un mínimo coste. El objetivo principal del presente estudio es investigar el efecto que provoca un programa de intervención basado en el material autoconstruido sobre variables dependientes relativas a los valores desarrollados en el alumnado (cooperación, coeducación, cuidado del medio ambiente, cuidado del material y no consumismo). La elaboración de estos materiales es de gran ayuda para afrontar el déficit de material en el que están inmersos numerosas escuelas de varios países, además de proporcionar a los estudiantes la oportunidad de convertirse en aprendices activos en la escuela o en sus casas a partir de vídeo-tutoriales, permitiéndoles fomentar la cooperación en las actividades y durante la fase de construcción, además de que adquieran conciencia sobre la importancia del cuidado de nuestro planeta. El modelo pedagógico basado en la autoconstrucción de materiales podría ser una opción interesante de cara a mejorar los valores del alumnado relacionados con la cooperación, la coeducación, la preservación del medio ambiente, el respeto por el material propio y el ajeno, y el no consumismo, aunque es preciso continuar realizando investigaciones longitudinales.

Por medio de este proyecto se plantea el diseño de un colegio de educación básica y media ubicado en el municipio de Vetas, Santander. Siendo este una respuesta espacial a las necesidades y falencias en infraestructura educativa presentes en el municipio, la cual tiene en cuenta las características y exigencias propias del entorno, la población rural y las particularidades de la región de la mano con un diseño ecológico que resalte la sostenibilidad y sustentabilidad del mismo para su realización se tendrán en cuentas las diferentes disposiciones en cuanto a la normatividad educativa vigente en el país y el enfoque que le da a sus diseños el arquitecto australiano Glenn Murcutt, que se destaca por la integridad y honestidad en sus obras mayormente comunitarias, plantea como “La arquitectura debe ser una respuesta, no una imposición” y más aún, en la realización de este tipo de proyecto para poder caracterizar el diseño de colegio, analizando y mejorando el sistema actual en cuanto a espacios óptimos de educación. International audience; Turing machines have been studied as dynamical systems for more than two decades, first formalized by Kurka, proposing a topological dynamical system named Turing machine with moving tape (TMT). It was conjectured that every TMT has at least one periodic point. Nowadays, there are several examples of aperiodic Turing machines, disproving Kurka’s conjecture. Moreover, one of these machines, named SMART, has other interesting properties like reversibility, completeness, aperiodicity, topological minimality, among others. This machine has four states and worksover an alphabet of three symbols. In this research, we study the dynamical properties of BinSmart, a 2-symbols reconstruction of the main dynamic of SMART machine. This machine results to be aperiodic, topologically minimal (therefore transitive) but not time-symmetric, as it is not a direct translation of the original machine. We also prove that its t-shift is a primitive substitution.

RESUMEN: El análisis topológico de datos es una disciplina formada por el conjunto de técnicas topológicas que se pueden utilizar para abstraer o extraer información de un conjunto grande de datos. El método que se expone en este trabajo es el de la homología persistente, método que estudia cómo evolucionan los grupos de homología de una filtración. Los fundamentos teóricos de esta disciplina están basados principalmente en la homología, por lo que ésta será nuestro principal objeto de estudio en este trabajo. Vamos a hablar de tres tipos de homología: simplicial, singular y celular; y probaremos diversas propiedades de cada tipo para ver que, en los casos en que las tres se pueden aplicar, las tres teorías de homología son en realidad la misma. También hablaremos de teoría de Morse, ya que es el nexo que une, en cierto contexto, la homología con la homología persistente. Para terminar, se formalizarán los conceptos básicos de homología persistente y se dará una intuición de cómo se trabaja con esos conceptos en casos más generales. ABSTRACT: Topological data analysis is a subject consisting of the set of topological procedures that can be used to infer topological features from a big data set. The procedure showed in this bachelor thesis is persistent homology. This method studies the evolution of the homology groups of a filtration. The theorical foundations of this subject come mainly from homology theory, and for this reason homology theory will be our main focus throughout this bachelor thesis. We will study three kinds of homology: simplicial, singular and cellular; and we will proof diverse properties of each type, such us the isomorphism among those three for spaces where the three can be defined. We will also study some Morse theory because it serves as a nexus between homology and persistent homology, in a certain context. Drug-delivery nano-systems enhances the potency of bioactive molecules due to its increase membrane permeability, as a result of their sub-cellular size. The concept of engineered nano-carriers may be a promising route to address confounding challenges in agriculture that could lead to an increase in crop production while reducing the environmental impact associated with crop protection and food production. A key motivation of this work is to evaluate the potential use of drug delivery nanosystems in agriculture, especially in the area of disease control. To this end, identifying the most suitable materials to serve as carrier and cargo is imperative. Understanding their bioactive properties and their physical-chemical characteristics is critical because these influences not only their biological effects on plants and environmental impact, but also, the fabrication process and potential scaling-up, enabling practical and relevant field applications in the future. In this work, chitosan was selected as nano-carrier material because of its biological and chemical properties. The chemical structure of chitosan allows spontaneous assemble of core-shell like nanostructures via ionic gelation, has enabled it to be used as nano-carrier biomaterial intended for delivery of bioactive cargo. In agriculture, the use of chitosan is of special interest due to its immune-modulatory activity elicited in plants. However, due to its inherent molecular heterogenicity, the formulation and fabrication of stable and low inter-batch variability chitosan nanocarriers via ionic gelation is difficult and time consuming. A myriad of different bioactive molecules has been tested as payload, encapsulated into chitosan-based delivery nano-systems for a range of purposes ranging from biomedicine, pharmaceutical, food and agriculture. In this work plant derived essential oils were selected as bioactive payload. Essential oils are at the core of the plant communication process with their phytobiome, including plant pathogens. Molecules from essential oils can carry an air-borne message serving as a plant-to-plant communication system (a phenomenon known as allelopathy) that activate the plant defense mechanisms. Encapsulation of essential oils into chitosan nanocarriers is only possible by forming nano-emulsions. Despite the potential benefits from the use of chitosan and essential oils in agriculture, its use at a large scale has been hindered by the overwhelming inconsistencies in the current literature, regarding their formulation and fabrication. This work addresses these problems and presents evidence that support the feasibility of producing highly chitosan nanocarriers loaded with essential oils, in a facile and rapid way, using FDA-grade materials only, without the need of expensive or specialized instrumentation. The plant-pathogen compatible interaction between A. thaliana and B. cinerea was used as biological model to test the hypothesis that chitosan nano-carriers and essential oil nano-emulsions can enhance the quantitative disease resistance of plants against broad host-range necrotrophic pathogens. We found that these treatments display a dose-dependent response in plants triggering a systemic immune response. Image-based phenotyping analysis showed that chitosan nanoparticles alone, as well as loaded with d-limonene, significantly enhanced the disease resistance of A. thaliana against B. cinerea. Nano-emulsions using essential oils from cinnamon, clove, coriander and red thyme also produced similar effects on the defense response in the pathosystem under study. Functional analysis of the differentially expressed genes from treated plants revealed that these treatments up-regulated the biological process involved in “stress management”, while down-regulated the biological process required for normal growth and development during ideal, non-stressful conditions.

The steering committee is the freely-appointed main governing body in Spanish sports federations. This study analyses the gender diversity of the members of the steering committees in the 61 Spanish sports federations, comparing the values with those found on the boards of directors of companies in other economic sectors. The evolution of the presence of women on steering committees in the period 2008-2013 is studied, and through the use of discriminant analysis it is analysed whether their gender diversity is statistically significantly related to the operational and economic performance of the federations. There is gender inequality on the steering committees, and although it is decreasing the situation does not significantly affect the operational and economic performance of Spanish sports federations. 265 p. Se ha estudiado la síntesis directa de dimetil éter (DME) a partir de sistemas H2+CO+CO2, con un reactor de membrana de lecho fijo (PBMR). El trabajo experimental para el diseño y puesta a punto del reactor ha consistido en las siguientes etapas: selección del material adecuado para la membrana en base a su caracterización; puesta a punto de un método reproducible de cristalización de la membrana sobre un soporte metálico; configuración del sistema reactor-membrana en el laboratorio; adecuación del equipamiento de análisis cromatográfico al nuevo sistema experimental.En base a los resultados se ha evaluado la mejora de las prestaciones respecto al reactor convencional (PBR), justificables por la alteración del equilibrio termodinámico debido a la permselectividad de los componentes del medio de reacción y consiguiente cambio de composición en el reactor.El catalizador utilizado ha sido de CuOZnOZrO2/SAPO-11, y ha sido caracterizado por diferentes técnicas: adsorción-desorción de N2; microscopio de barrido (SEM); espectroscopia de emisión óptica de plasma acoplado inductivamente (ICP-OES); difracción de rayos X (XRD); reducción a temperatura programada (TPR); quimisorción TPR/N2O; desorción a temperatura programada (TPD) de NH3; termogravimetría/calorimetría de la adsorción diferencial de NH3. Su comportamiento en el intervalo de condiciones antes descrito para el PBMR ha sido cuantificado con un modelo cinético que considera lasetapas individuales del esquema de reacción (síntesis de metanol y DME desde CO y CO2, deshidratación de metanol a DME y reacción water gas shift (WGS)), así como la desactivación del catalizador (principalmente con deposición de coque).Se ha establecido un original modelo matemático para la simulación del reactor de membrana, con la membrana LTA seleccionada. El modelo de simulación considera las ecuaciones del modelo cinético y las ecuaciones de transporte de materia para cada componente entre las regiones de reacción y permeado. Este modelo se ha utilizado en primer lugar, para determinar las propiedades de transporte en la membrana, mediante experimentos sin catalizador en la región de reacción. En segundo lugar, y utilizando los parámetros cinéticos y de transporte en la membrana, previamente calculados, se ha realizado la simulación del PBMR, evaluando las ventajas de este reactor respecto al PBR para la producción de DME y oxigenados (DME y metanol) y mostrando la capacidad del propio modelo de simulación para estudios de aumento de escala y para futuros estudios de optimización de estrategias de barrido y recirculación.
