With the rapidly dramatic environmental change and intensive competition, tourism organisations are required to adopt advanced marketing strategies and techniques. Recently, digital content marketing (DCM) has become one of the most prominent marketing tools that has substantial benefits and influences in different settings and domains. To this end, it is crucial to understand the effect of DCM on consumer behavior within the tourism context. Therefore, this research empirically examines an extended technology acceptance model (TAM) model to investigate and compare the influence of DCM on travel and tourism consumer behavior in two distinct countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. A quantitative approach was adopted by collecting surveys from a convenience sample of 285 and 122 participants in Egypt and Oman, respectively. The findings of PLS‐structural equation modelling revealed that the TAM major constructs were good elucidating the attitude and behavior toward using of DCM for tourism purposes. It is also found that perceived enjoyment and perceived convenience are antecedents of customers' attitudes, which in turn, influence their intention and behavior of using DCM to buy or select a certain tourism product/service. The current study contributes to knowledge of DCM literature in the tourism field in general and within the MENA region in particular. It also adds to studies on TAM and digital technologies by extending two critical constructs related to tourism consumer behavior. The practical implications will greatly support tourism marketers and authorities to develop their tourism strategies and marketing activities. Employee engagement (EE) is a relatively recent concept, with revealed organizational interests, yet, little is studied about its antecedents and consequences in the tourism field. This paper investigates the main drivers of EE in Egyptian travel agents and explores its influences on their performance. Using a questionnaire, the collected data were analysed by structural equation modelling. The findings indicated that work environment, rewarding and recognition, learning and development and leadership are the key drivers of EE, which has a significant relationship with travel agents' performance. This study provides valuable contributions for tourism authorities in Egypt by providing insight into how EE is predicted. Geotourism could be one of the powerful tools for protecting the environment. It provides a long-term competitive edge through geomanagement. As a niche area of the global tourism industry, geotourism is growing rapidly due to the high appreciation of landscape and geological phenomena. Fostering the nature and cultural sustainability, geotourists seek geological wonders framed in a natural and cultural authenticity. Responding to the call of the Egyptian Tourism Ministry to study non-traditional patterns of tourism, this study aims to investigate the factors predicting the behavioural intention to take geotours among international tourists. The study incorporated new constructs in the theory of reasoned action to achieve its aim. Employing structural equation modelling, findings revealed that behavioural intention of taking geotours is affected by geotourists' attributes, attitudes towards geotours, cultural heritage and subjective norms. Pro-poor tourism (PPT) improves the livelihoods of local communities in developing countries including Egypt. Fayoum, one of the poorest Egyptian governorates, has a variety of attractions, which can generate tremendous economic opportunities for local people. This paper aims to determine the barriers to (PPT) development in Fayoum and to examine how positive impacts can be improved. Quantitative approach is used to achieve the aims of the study. Questionnaire forms were collected from employees in governmental tourism industry and local people in Fayoum. The main findings of the study are as follows: there are several barriers to (PPT) development in Fayoum's protected areas, and the development of (PPT) in protected areas is positively affecting the livelihoods of local people in Fayoum. BACKGROUND: Skin aging can be a contributing factor in the prediction, follow-up, and early diagnosis of some disorders related to the aging process, including degenerative cardiovascular diseases. OBJECTIVE: We sought to explore the association between a clinical skin aging score and risk of degenerative heart diseases. METHODS: This study included two groups; a case group consisting of 44 patients older than 30 years who were admitted to the cardiology department with degenerative heart disease and 44 age- and sex-matched healthy individuals to act as a control group. The skin aging score was calculated for all subjects. RESULTS: Regarding intrinsic skin aging parameters, there were highly significant differences between the two groups in uneven pigmentation, reduced fat tissue, benign skin tumors, fine wrinkles, and lax skin appearance. Concerning extrinsic skin aging parameters, there were significant differences between the two groups regarding pigment changes, changes in skin phenotype, yellowness, pseudoscars, cutis rhomboidalis nuchae, telangectasia, coarse wrinkles, and dryness. CONCLUSION: Our study suggests that any individual with intrinsic skin aging score greater than eight points or total score of more than 15 points is at high risk for degenerative cardiovascular disease and should undergo periodic follow-up. Schistosomiasis is one of the most important neglected tropical diseases in Africa, caused by blood fluke, Schistosoma sp. The use of nanotechnology in the treatment of this type of disease is urgently important to avoid the unwanted side effects of chemotherapy. The present study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of green silver nanoparticles (G-AgNPs), fabricated by (Calotropis procera), comparing with both chemically prepared silver ones (C-AgNPs) and Praziquantel (PZQ) treatments. The study included in vitro and in vivo evaluations. In in vitro study, 4 groups of schistosome worms were exposed to treatments as follows: the first one with a dose of PZQ (0.2 µg/ml), the 2nd and 3rd groups with different concentrations of G-AgNPs and C-AgNPs, respectively and the last one act as a negative control group. In in vivo study, six groups of mice were infected and then treated as follows: the first one with a dose of PZQ, the second with G-AgNPs, the third with C-AgNPs, the fourth with G-AgNPs plus a half dose of PZQ, the fifth with C-AgNPs accompanied by a half dose of PZQ, and the last group acted as a positive control group. The parasitological (worm burden, egg count & oogram) and histopathological parameters (hepatic granuloma profile) were used to evaluate antischistosomal activities in experimental groups. Additionally, the subsequent ultrastructural alterations were observed in adult worms using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Transmission electron microscopy analysis showed that G-AgNPs and C-AgNPs have 8-25 and 8-11 nm in diameter, respectively, besides, fourier transform infrared analysis (FTIR) revealed the presence of organic compounds (aromatic ring groups) which act as capping agents around the surfaces of biogenic silver nanoparticles. In in vitro experiment, adult worms incubated either with G-AgNPs or C-AgNPs at concentrations higher than 100 µg/ml or 80 µg/ml, respectively, showed full mortality of parasites after 24 h. In the infected treated groups (with G-AgNPs plus PZQ & C-AgNPs plus PZQ) showed the most significant reduction in the total worm burdens (92.17% & 90.52%, respectively). Combined treatment with C-AgNPs and PZQ showed the highest value of dead eggs (93,6%), followed by G-AgNPs plus PZQ-treated one (91%). This study showed that mice treated with G-AgNPs plus PZQ significantly has the highest percentage of reduction in granuloma size and count (64.59%, 70.14%, respectively). Both G-AgNPs plus PZQ-treated & C-AgNPs plus PZQ treated groups showed the highest similar values of reduction percentage of total ova count in tissues (98.90% & 98.62%, respectively). Broadband absorbers are required for solar energy harvesting because they efficiently absorb the incident photon in the wide-ranging solar spectrum. To ensure high absorption of photons, metamaterial absorbers (MMAs) have been a growing area of interest in recent years. In this article, an MMA is proposed using a metal-insulator-metal (MIM) structure (Ni-SiO 2 -Ni) that shows a near-unity broadband absorption of wavelengths from 300 to 1600 nm, with a 95.77% average absorption and a peak absorption of 99.999% at 772.82 nm. The MMA is polarization insensitive as well as wide incident angle stable. Analysis of the effects of mechanical bending on the absorption of the proposed structure shows that absorption holds satisfactory values at different degrees of mechanical loading. The suggested MMA unit cell structure was computationally simulated using the Finite Integration Technique (FIT) and verified using the Finite Element Method (FEM). To analyze the feasibility of the proposed MMA as a solar cell, it is investigated with the universal AM 1.5 solar spectrum characteristics. Objectives: Theory and prior research suggest that improving self-esteem is a promising way to improve students' academic performance and mental health. This study empirically examines the mediating effect of psychological well-being and positive emotion in the relationships between self-compassion, mindfulness, stress, and self-esteem., Methods: An explanatory sequential mixed-method design was employed. Quantitative data collected through a two-wave survey from 654 Vietnamese students were analyzed to test the hypotheses using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 24.0. Data from 19 in-depth interviews were used to explain the quantitative findings and explore students' experiences in practicing mindfulness and self-compassion., Results: Findings revealed that psychological well-being and positive emotion fully mediated the relationships between self-compassion, mindfulness, stress, and self-esteem., Conclusions: Results of this study highlight the importance of psychological well-being and positive emotion in the self-compassion, mindfulness, stress, and self-esteem relationship, as well as explain a possible process by which factors help university students achieve and sustain a sense of high self-esteem. The whipworm Trichuris muris was recovered from the caecum of the wild rodent Psammomys obessus trapped from Sinai Peninsula, Egypt. The cuticular surface ultrastructure is described using SEM. T. muris is closely related to other Trichuris species but can be distinguished from them mainly by differences in the posterior end of males. Details of the surface such as the bacillary gland, cuticular inflations and several morphological details obtained by scanning electron microscopy confirmed the characteristics that differentiate the species. P. obessus (Cretzschmar, 1828) is considered a new host record and Sinai is considered a new locality for the genus. This may through light on the spread of T. muris between Asia and Africa.

The features of S. felis sarcocystosis in muscles of the domestic cats (Felis domesticus) were studied. A complete clinical history, post mortem, and histo-pathologic examinations were done for each cat. Multiple protozoan elliptical cysts were in the skeletal muscles, heart, and diaphragm muscles of 3/17 (17.6%) adult cats. Ultrastructural characteristics of the bradyzoites and cyst wall were consistent with those described for S. felis in bobcat and domestic cat. Clinico-pathological study in 3 cats showed hypertrophy cardiomyopathy and lymphosarcoma associated with S. felis. Tissue samples showed a spectrum of pathological changes such as multi-focal subacute myocarditis and multi-focal subarachnoid lymphocytic infiltration. DNA extracted from muscles diaphragm with cysts was tested by PCR and sequence analyses of ssurRNA gene. The phylogenetic reconstructions using neighbor-joining method showed that S. felis is closely related to S. neurona. The results were illustrated and photographed and peer discussed.

The study area included Mansoura city as an urban area and Gogar village as a rural area. One thousand individuals were randomly selected from each area. Different methods of stool examination, perianal swab and urine examination of all participants revealed that the incidence in Mansoura city was in a descending order Heterophyes heterophyes 6.4%; Enterobius vermicularis 3.9%; Hymenienolepis nana 2.2%; Schistosoma mansoni 0.5%; Trichostrongylus colubriftormis; Strongyloides stercoralis and Fasciola sp. were recorded as 0.2% of each. Taenia saginata, Ascaris lumbricoides and Trichocephalus trichiuris were recorded as 0.1% of each. Neither Ancylostoma duodenale nor Hymenolepis dimninuta was recorded. In Gogar, the parasitic infection was H. hetephyes 4.5%; E. vermicularis 4.1%: H. nana 3.3%; S. mansoni 1.6%; T. colubriformis 0.9%; S. stercoralis 0.5%. Fasciola sp. 0.4%; T. saginata, A. lumbricoides, H. diminuta, A. duodenale and T. trichiuris were recorded as 0.1% of each. None S. haematobiumn was detected in both areas. So, the infection rates of H. heterophyes, E. vermicularis, H. nana S. mansoni, Fasciola sp., T. colubriformis and S. stercoralis were relatively high the rural than in urban area. This was not surprising since the socioeconomic, hygienic conditions and medical services were relative high in the city than in the village. No doubt, the identifications of parasitosis pave the way for feasible treatment and control measures.

Laboratory study was conducted on the biology of the phorid fly Megaselia sacalaris. The influence of 3 constant temperatures and various larval densities was researched in the laboratory as these relate to mean life stage rate of development and survival. Flay development on a synthetic diet at 25 degrees C. 75=2% RH and 18 hr photophase was used as the standard. Mean times for development and survival were egg incubation 16.3 h (97.6%); larval period 7.3 days (97.6%); pupal period 9.8 days (95.8%, 91.6%); adult longevity 29.9 days, 24.8 days. Fecundity was 664.8 eggs. One generation required 19.7 days. Data are presented on the influence of 20 degrees C and 15 degrees C on the duration of survival and fecundity life-stages. Theoretical lower thresholds of development for life stages are reported. The adverse effect of larval crowding was reflected at the 100 larvae/10 g diet medium as larval and pupal periods increased. At the 200 larvae/10 g diet medium larval survival declined pupal survival decline began at 100/10 g level. Fecundity was not significant altered. The ultrastructure of the larval stages of M. scalaris was studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Significant changes in morphological features were observed in the anterior and posterior spiracles, but only minimal changes in the labium and mouth-hooks were seen. The ultrastructure of M. scalaris larvae not only provided the chronological transformation of the larval instars, but also can be used to explain their feeding behavior and mode of respiration. Besides, morphological structures useful for specific identification of first and second-instar larvae collected from human corpses may be used in forensic practice.
