The article reports on the opposition for the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC), an official program of the U.S. Department of Defense. This program is offered to the high school students in San Francisco, California as an alternative to physical education but gay teenage are not allowed to enter. The GLBT community is opposing this proposal and school board members are likely to vote on a resolution to phase out JROTC.
