Acinetobacter sp bacteria especially Acinetobacter baumannii has emerged as a problematic multidrug-resistant (MDR) pathogen worldwide. Acinetobacter baumannii are important healthcare-associated pathogens, widely distributed in soil, water, and commonly found in the hospital environment as opportunistic pathogens from a neonatal intensive care unit and an intensive care unit (NICUs and ICUs) these bacteria formed as major nosocomial infections in hospitals environment all over the world and in the Middle East. The aim of this study was to characterize clinical isolates of A. baumannii from Qasim Area, Saudi Arabia that has an in this study, 217 nonrepetitive clinical isolates of A. baumannii were identified through MALDI-TOF and susceptibility was determined with VITEK-2 systems . Genotypic characterization of the isolates was performed by using index1,2 primers typing and polymerase chain reaction screening was performed for carbapenemase genes, insertion sequences, metallo-β-lactamases, and cephalosporinase genes. The isolates were recovered from heterogeneous clinical specimens, and the majority of the cases of A. baumannii infection were acquired in the hospital and predominantly involved patients who were older than 50 years. Total, 57.7% of the isolates were MDR, and 56.8% isolates were resistant to carbapenem antibiotics. Approximately half of the isolates were resistant to cefepime, and ceftazidime among the β-lactam antibiotics and ciprofloxacin from the quinolone group. The blaOXA-23-like gene and ISAba1 upstream of blaOXA-23-like were detected in 93% of the carbapenem-resistant isolates, while all carbapenem-resistant isolates were found to carry blaOXA-51-like, and blaADC-type cephalosporinase gene. Data demonstrate the coexistence of multiple carbapenem resistance determinants in A. baumannii from the Qssim region of Saudi Arabia.

In this paper we introduce a new definition of fractional Fourier transformation on the space S of Schwartz test functions and study some of its properties. It turns out that this fractional Fourier transform has many properties with the conformable fractional derivative that the conventional Fourier transform has with the conventional (standard) derivative. We establish some operational formulas for the new transform, and give a left inverse for it. We use duality to define fractional Fourier transform of tempered distributions. Finally, we give two applications to ordinary and partial differential equations.

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى مهارات التفكير الناقد لدى طلبة كلية التربية يافع، متخذة من المنهج الوصفي والقائم على التحليل منهجاً للبحث ومن طلبة المستوى الرابع لعام 2019 / 2020م عينة قصدية وعددهم (87) طالباً وطالبة وتم تقليص العدد إلى (68) طالباً وطالبة مستبعدين الطلبة الذين لم يجيبوا على جميع الأسئلة. ومن حيث الأداة تم اختيار اختبار كاليفورنيا 2000م ليكون أنموذجاً للتطبيق وهو اختبار شامل يتكون من (34) فقرة بعضها لها أربعة بدائل والبعض الآخر خمسة، ولتقنين أداة الدراسة ومعرفة صدقها وثباتها تم عرضها على مجموعة من المحكمين المختصين، من ثم تطبيقها على عينة استطلاعية من طلبة الكلية بواقع (25) طالباً وطالبة للتأكد من سلامة الفقرات ومعرفة الزمن اللازم لأداء الاختبار، وحساب ثبات الاختبار باستخدام معادلة الفا كرونباخ، وكان ثبات الاختبار ضمن المدى المقبول. وخرجت الدراسة بعدد من النتائج منها: احتلت مهارة التقييم المرتبة الأولى لدى طلبة كلية التربية يافع، حيث بلغ متوسطها الحسابي (3.02) وانحراف معياري (0.509)، وفي المرتبة الخامسة والأخيرة جاءت مهارة الاستنتاج، بمتوسط حسابي (2.90) وانحراف معياري (0.511)، ثم تدرجت بقية المهارات: الاستدلال (المرتبة الثانية) والتحليل (المرتبة الثالثة) الاستقراء (المرتبة الرابعة). عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.05) تعزى لمتغير الجنس، في كل من المهارات الآتية: التحليل، الاستقراء، الاستنتاج، التقييم. وجدت فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.05) تعزى لمتغير الجنس في مهارة الاستدلال فقط لصالح الإناث. وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى دلالة (0.05) تعزى لمتغير التخصص، لصالح قسم أحياء/ كيمياء. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج توصي الدراسة بعدد من التوصيات أهمها: الاهتمام بالقدرات العقلية لدى الطلبة وتنمية مهاراتهم، ووضع اختبار يقيس مستوى هذه المهارات لدى الطلبة لاجتياز كل مستوى، وجعل مهارات التفكير الناقد مادة مهارية يخضع لها جميع الطلبة. تصميم برامج تعليمية من ذوي الاختصاص لإعداد دروس نموذجية في مهارات التفكير الناقد.

Introduction:Asthma is a chronic respiratory disorder characterized by airway inflammation and hyperreactivity. Prevalence has continued to climb in recent decades as Western food habits have become more popular. Methods:We searched PubMed, Embase, and Scopus (January 2000--October 2022) for randomized clinical trials that evaluated the effects of diet in adults with asthma. Results:Among the 12,215 studies that were searched, only 12 were included. Obese people with asthma may benefit from a drop in weight of at least 7.5% from baseline due to calorie restriction. The influence of a diet high in items with putative antioxidant effect on asthma management was small and not clinically significant. Antioxidant supplements studies have shown positive results, with magnesium supplementation improving asthma management and vitamin C supplementation slowing the decrease of lung function. Studies on the impact of fatty acid supplementation on weight reduction, asthma management, and lung function all showed positive results. Propolis and caffeine have been shown to significantly improve lung function in clinical trials. But the opposite was found in research on high salt diets and lung function reductions. Conclusions:For individuals who are overweight and suffer from asthma, the optimal dietary strategy seems to be calorie restriction rather than focusing on individual food groups.

Health informatics (HI) has become a significant research area due to the massive generation of digital health and medical data by biomedical and health research organizations. The health data sources are available in different forms namely electronic health records (EHRs), biomedical imaging, bio-signals, sensor data, genomic data, medical history, social media data, and so on. The structured health data can be utilized for HI and effective predictive modeling of health data assists in the decision-making process. The recently developed artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and deep learning (DL) techniques pave a way for effective predictive modeling on health data. Numerous existing works have been presented in the literature depending upon the ML and DL based HI for various applications. With this motivation, this study aims to review the recent state of art ML and DL based predictive models for health sector. This survey primarily identifies the difference between the ML and DL architectures with their significance in health sector. In addition, the existing works are extensively reviewed and compared in terms of different aspects such as objectives, underlying methodology, input source, dataset used, performance validation, metrics, and so on. Finally, the open challenges and future scope of the HI are examined in detail. At the end of the survey, the readers find it useful to identify the present research and possible future scope of the ML and DL based predictive models for HI.

Using a New Historicist methodology, this paper explores the ideology in selected poems by Ada Aharoni. The paper begins by investigating the three major paradigms used by Israeli society to mythologize the Yom Kippur War. After that, an overview of the new historicism theory is presented, with a focus on the concepts of power and ideology. This helps to develop the argument of the paper into illustrating the connection between Aharoni and new historicism by discussing how she achieves her ideology in her poetry. Finally, the paper presents an analysis of selected poems from a new historicist perspective.

لا يمكن للمجتمع أن يحقق التنمية الشاملة وبناء مجتمع جديد إذا لم يكن للمرأة دور في صناعة القرارات المتعلقة بحياتها الخاصة والعامة، وإذا لم تأخذ حصتها من الأعمال المهنية والإدارية والاقتصادية، وإذا لم تشـــارك في مؤســـسات الســـلطة وصنع القرار، وبعد التغيير الــسياسي فــي العراق عــام (2003)، بدأت مرحلة تطور ســـياســـية اجتماعية تعزز الأسس القانونية لنظام الدولة مع إقرار الدستور العراقي الدائم لعام (2005)، وذلك بالنص على نظام (الكوتا)، إذ شــاركت المرأة العراقية في الانتخابات البرلمانية منذ عام (2005) حتى عام (2021)، وأرى أنَّه مع المشاركة للمرأة العراقية ما تزال تعاني من تحديات عديدة تحول دون مشاركتها السياسية عموماً، وهناك عقبات تتصل بالمرأة نفسها، وعوامل متصلة بالمؤسسة السياسية وعوامل متصلة بطبيعة المجتمع والثقافة السائدة فيه، والأهم من ذلك أن الأحزاب السياسية المسيطرة غير جادة لتمكين النساء سياسيا.

The presentation of the COVID19 has endangered several million lives worldwide causing thousands of deaths every day. Evolution of COVID19 as a pandemic calls for automated solutions for initial screening and treatment management. In addition to the thermal scanning mechanisms, findings from chest X-ray imaging examinations are reliable predictors in COVID19 detection, long-term monitoring and severity evaluation. This paper presents a novel deep transfer learning based framework for COVID19 detection and segmentation of infections from chest X-ray images. It is realized as a two-stage cascaded framework with classifier and segmentation subnetwork models. The classifier is modeled as a fine-tuned residual SqueezeNet network, and the segmentation network is implemented as a fine-tuned SegNet semantic segmentation network. The segmentation task is enhanced with a bioinspired Gaussian Mixture Model-based super pixel segmentation. This framework is trained and tested with two public datasets for binary and multiclass classifications and infection segmentation. It achieves accuracies of 99.69% and 99.48% for binary and three class classifications, and a mean accuracy of 83.437% for segmentation. Experimental results and comparative evaluations demonstrate the superiority of this unified model and signify potential extensions for biomarker definition and severity quantization.

Researches and studies on compressing digital images are aiming to make it easier to deal with networks, communications and Internet by reducing the size of the multimedia files transferred, and reducing the execution time and transmission time. In this research, the lossy compression method was adopted as one of the solutions that reduce the size of the data required to compress the image, through the process of compression of digital image data using Discrete Wavelet Transform algorithms using Haar filter, and Contourlet. Using Laplace and Directional Filter, Curvelet transformation using FDCT- Wrapping Technology .The performance of the algorithms used in the proposed research is also evaluated using a Ratio Compression (RC) scale, As well as the Peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) scale, the mean sequence error (MSE) scale, the signal to noise ratio (SNR) scale, and finally, the Normalization correlation (NC) scale. Correspondence between the original image and the recovered image after compression, in order to choose the best algorithm that achieves the best compression ratio of the image and maintains the parameters of the recovered image based on the standards (MSE, PSNR, SNR, COR and CR) used with the three algorithms, and the results showed that the Curvelet transformation algorithm achieved : best compression ratio, but at the expense of image quality.

The aim of this paper is to introduce the notion of Perov–Ćirić–Prešić-type Θ-contractions and to obtain some generalized fixed point theorems in the setting of vector-valued metric spaces. We derive some fixed point results as consequences of our main results. A nontrivial example is also provided to support the validity of our established results. As an application, we investigate the solution of a semilinear operator system in Banach space.

The clinical link among diabetes, obesity, and thyroid dysfunction is of interest. Hence, medical records of 601 patients with diabetes, obesity, and thyroid dysfunctions at the Abha Specialist Center and Military Diabetic Endocrine Center we used in this analysis. Approximately 28% of diabetic patients had thyroid dysfunction, and 12.4% were vitamin D deficient. The patients with thyroid dysfunction had significantly elevated triglyceride levels compared to the patients without thyroid dysfunction (173.6 vs. 128. p=0.009).
