"Theatre of the Sphere: The Vibrant Being" by Luis Valdez is a highly anticipated addition to the field of Latinx theater. It serves as both a history book and an acting manual, offering insights into Valdez's innovations as a playwright and theatrical innovator. The book explores the principles underlying Valdez's methodology, which is influenced by Mayan and Mexica Indigenous cultures. While the book has some limitations, it provides valuable resources for those interested in Chicano theater and offers a new approach to actor training that embraces Indigenous mythologies. The design of a solar thermal installation is based on the lowest irradiance levels that occur during winter. However, there are consecutive days with irradiance levels well below those used for the design, which are called in this work "critical irradiance levels". To solve this challenge, a statistical analysis is carried out to find a representative percentile of 22 years of consecutive days with "critical irradiance levels". A case study of a cotton-dyeing industrial process requires 18.5 m3 of hot water and operates for 2.75 h at temperatures between 40 and 90 °C. Environmental variables for 22 years were analyzed and validated to design a solar thermal installation (solar collector network and storage system) and a coupled heat pump. The fifth percentile, with three consecutive days and low irradiance levels, was the most repetitive. For this case, a storage system of 46.5 m3 guaranteed heat load at target temperature. The simple payback was 14.1 years, and the energy cost was 0.094 USD/kWh, which was competitive against the energy cost from using fossil fuels, 0.064 USD/kWh. The design based on critical environmental conditions guarantees a continuous supply of energy to the industrial process and defines the minimum availability of solar energy to supply a process. - Abstract
Nowadays, considerable attention is paid to agile methods as a means to improve management of software development processes. The widespread use of such methods in professional contexts has encouraged their integration into software engineering training and undergraduate courses. Although several research efforts have focused on teaching Scrum through simulating a software development project, they covered only the learning of programming practices within a Scrum team. Furthermore, few studies tackle nontechnical skills other than the development practices themselves. The work presented here introduces an original Scrum-based training model enhanced with agile coaching to maximize student performance. This was validated by a case study on a capstone project in a Scrum course. This paper summarizes the positive results of introducing agile coaching, which resulted in approximately 22% more coverage of software engineering practices. In addition, a survey data showed that, compared to students who did not receive coaching, coached students gained valuable insight into the internalization of Scrum, problem solving, and guidance by means of checkpoint meetings.

The application of coatings with essential oils for food preservation is an alternative way to keep minimally processed apple slices fresh, nutritious, safe, sensory palatable, and accessible for consumers. In the present study, the effect of three bioactive coatings on quality variables of minimally processed Golden Delicious apple slices for 25-days at 4 °C was evaluated. The coatings were CT1-chitosan-based, CT2-guar gum-based, and CT3-composite guar gum-starch-based; all three coatings contained cinnamon essential oil and were compared with UCT0-uncoated apple slices. The quality variables evaluated were weight-loss, firmness, browning index, total phenolic content, total soluble solids, titratable acidity, respiration rate, microbial analysis, and sensory evaluation. All coatings improved the preservation and sensorial quality variables of Golden Delicious apples; however, although the CT1-chitosan-based coating was capable of extending the shelf-life of minimally processed apple, it demonstrated less sensorially favorable scores for flavor, odor, and overall acceptance attributes.

- Abstract
Background. Colposcopy, currently included in WHO recommendations as an option to triage human papillomavirus (HPV)-positive women, remains as the reference standard to guide both biopsy for confirmation of cervical precancer and cancer and treatment approaches. We aim to evaluate the performance of colposcopy to detect cervical precancer and cancer for triage in HPV-positive women. Methods. This cross-sectional, multicentric screening study was conducted at 12 centres (including primary and secondary care centres, hospitals, laboratories, and universities) in Latin America (Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay). Eligible women were aged 30–64 years, sexually active, did not have a history of cervical cancer or treatment for cervical precancer or a hysterectomy, and were not planning to move outside of the study area. Women were screened with HPV DNA testing and cytology. HPV-positive women were referred to colposcopy using a standardised protocol, including biopsy collection of observed lesions, endocervical sampling for transformation zone (TZ) type 3, and treatment as needed. Women with initial normal colposcopy or no high-grade cervical lesions on histology (less than cervical intraepithelial neoplasia [CIN] grade 2) were recalled after 18 months for another HPV test to complete disease ascertainment; HPV-positive women were referred for a second colposcopy with biopsy and treatment as needed. Diagnostic accuracy of colposcopy was assessed by considering a positive test result when the colposcopic impression at the initial colposcopy was positive minor, positive major, or suspected cancer, and was considered negative otherwise. The main study outcome was histologically confirmed CIN3+ (defined as grade 3 or worse) detected at the initial visit or 18-month visit. Findings. Between Dec 12, 2012, and Dec 3, 2021, 42 502 women were recruited, and 5985 (14·1%) tested positive for HPV. 4499 participants with complete

- Abstract
Background. Cervical cytology remains widely used as the initial tool in cervical cancer screening worldwide. WHO guidelines recommend replacing cytology with primary HPV testing to reach cervical cancer elimination goals. We assessed the performance of cytology and high-risk HPV testing to detect cervical precancer, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) grade 3 or worse (CIN3+) among women aged 30–64 years participating in the ESTAMPA study. Methods. Women were screened with cytology and HPV across ESTAMPA study centres in Latin America. Screen-positives were referred to colposcopy with biopsy collection and treatment as needed. Those with no evident precancer were recalled at 18-months for a second HPV test to complete disease ascertainment. Performance indicators for cytology and HPV to detect CIN3+ were estimated. Findings. 30,606 participants with available cytology and HPV results were included in the analysis. A total of 440 histologically confirmed CIN3s and 30 cancers were diagnosed. Cytology sensitivity for CIN3+ was 48.5% (95% CI: 44.0–53.0), whereas HPV testing had a sensitivity of 98.1% (95% CI: 96.3–96.7). Specificity was 96.5% (95% CI: 96.3–96.7) using cytology and 88.7% (95% CI: 88.3–89.0) with HPV. Performance estimates varied substantially by study centre for cytology (ranging from 32.1% to 87.5% for sensitivity and from 89.2% to 99.5% for specificity) while for HPV results were more consistent across sites (96.7%–100% and 83.6–90.8%, respectively). Interpretation. The limited and highly variable sensitivity of cytology strongly supports transition to the more robust and reproducible HPV-based cervical screening to ensure progress towards global cervical cancer elimination targets in Latin America.

- Abstract
The structural equation modelling has contributed significant advantages in understanding projects success, although comparably, it has incremented the complexity of the analysis; thus, this research aims to propose a measurement model of projects performance considering the impact that generates strategic and servant leadership. It was conducted an extensive literature review where four observable variables were documented regarding strategic leadership, four variables for servant leadership, and four variables that measure projects performance. Initial results allowed determining a model that will permit to measure the impact of the documented leaderships in projects performance.

- Abstract
An updated checklist of the vascular plants from the continen-tal region of Equatorial Guinea (Río Muni) is presented. The catalogue (Appendix 1) is the result of the compilation of herbarium specimens (6850), species records (7985) from the botanical literature and online da-tabases (10109 GBIF records and 8897 RAINBIO records). A database of 23517 georeferenced records was prepared by updating the nomenclatural and standardizing the locality names from all these sources. The cata-logue comprises 2707 taxa (2598 species, 81 subspecies, and 28 varieties) included in 1020 genera and 178 families. About 90.6% of the taxa are considered native, 1.17% introduced and 5.96% naturalized. The 10 most diverse families are Rubiaceae (294 species), Fabaceae (290), Orchidace-ae (168), Poaceae (105), Euphorbiaceae (87), Apocynaceae (85), Cypera-ceae (79), Annonaceae (68), Acanthaceae (65) and Melastomataceae (61), which comprise 49.22% of the species in Río Muni. Only 11 species can be considered endemic to Río Muni; this low number reflects the absence of natural barriers in the territory. The number of threatened taxa (VU, EN and CR) is 134 (5.02% of the total evaluated), of which 43 are at risk of extinction, being within the categories of Endangered or Critically Endangered. Five species restricted to the Gulf of Guinea are considered threatened: three Endangered (Grossera angustifolia, Polyscias aequa-toguineensis and Rhipidoglossum montealenense), and two Critically En-dangered (Asplenium carvalhoanum and Macropodiella uoroensis), thus they should be considered as priority in management plans development and conservation strategies., Se presenta un catálogo actualizado de las plantas vasculares de la región continental de Guinea Ecuatorial (Río Muni).

- Abstract
Due to the interaction between foreign instructors and local recruits in Security Force Assistance (SFA), deployed military personnel often experience challenges arising from cultural frictions. This article analyses the relevance of cross-cultural awareness for military performance in SFA. The research is based on data obtained from 22 face-to-face interviews with Spanish military personnel about their experience in Iraq (2015-2022). The results reported cultural differences as being the main difficulty in deployment. Spanish military personnel employed different strategies to cope with these difficulties, relying mainly on interaction through mediated or direct communication with local personnel. Despite this, the sociability of the troops has been identified as a distinctive element of the Spanish military, which facilitates the building of relationships.

- Abstract
[Introduction]: Epiphytes represent up to 10 % of global diversity and up to 30 % of Andean forests. Orchidaceae, Bromeliaceae, Araceae and Gesneriaceae are among the most important. Their shapes, colors, and sizes, as well as their interaction with insects, birds and invertebrates have captivated specialists, but also a wide audience around the world. Nature tourism is consolidated in places that offer unique experiences and is a growing economic sector in several tropical countries. Epiphytic plants are among the local attractions with the greatest potential for sightings in the tropics. [Objective]: To present a methodology to document epiphytes on farms, natural reserves, and protected areas, to improve biological information about them, facilitate guidance, and broaden the visitor experience. [Methodology]: Several years of field work have allowed us to adapt some methods and propose new ones to strengthen the experience of visitors with a focus on nature tourism. [Results]: Five methods are proposed (semi-detailed transects, sighting stations, ad libitum trails, fallen trees and permanent plots), and a in situ conservation method (living collection) to complete the characterization. Likewise, an analysis of the benefits, times, costs, and priorities of each method is presented. [Conclusions]: These methods, along with illustrated flora guides and trained local human resources, constitute the central axes for nature tourism, community empowerment and the strengthening of the conservation processes., Resumen [Introducción]: Las epífitas representan hasta el 10 % de la diversidad mundial y hasta un 30 % de la diversidad de plantas en los bosques andinos, con las familias Orchidaceae, Bromeliaceae, Araceae y Gesneriaceae como las más importantes. - Abstract
The purpose of this article is to analyse the most relevant events of the global development and international cooperation agenda from October 2018 to November 2019. Among the most representative phenomena of the year, different experiences were detected where, within the framework of the offer of international aid, it was provided for political purposes, rather than solidarity aims. On the other hand, plenty aid exercises and finance were implemented to face different fragile contexts (humanitarian crises, forced migration, etc.).

- Abstract

- Abstract
Telework has been one of the modalities of work of greater massification in recent years, especially since the declaration of health emergency due to the pandemic of the virus COVID-19. In Ecuador, teleworking has been subject to legal regulation since 2016, being guaranteed through rules of legal rank as the Organic Law of Humanitarian Support of 2020 and sublegal as the Ministerial Agreements of the Ministry of Labor, the rights of teleworkers to access to fair working conditions in terms of their remuneration, length of the day and right to disconnection. However, as this is an emerging modality, this has meant that in the beginning the informality in this modality has led to risks for teleworkers, in terms of their adaptation to this practice, provision of equipment, extension of the working day and harmonization of work life with their family obligations, in addition to the risks to their physical and mental health. Hence, the right to digital disconnection turns out to be one of the main guarantees for the welfare of teleworkers, for the sake of their personal welfare, protection of their privacy and the proper fulfillment of their family obligations, in that sense, the review of the constitutional rules, studies on the subject and reports of the International Labor Organization will allow to understand how such legal figure operates and its applicability within the Ecuadorian labor context and against regional and international standards.

- Abstract
Introduction: Anti-vaccine hoaxes are a highly dangerous type of health misinformation, given their direct effects on society. Although there is relevant research on typology of hoaxes, denialist discourses on networks or about the popularity of vaccines, this study provides a complementary and new vision, focused on the anti-vaccine discourse of COVID-19 on Twitter from the perspective of the behavior of the accounts that spread disinformation. Methodology: Using the FacTeR-Check method, with five phases and a first sample of a hundred hoaxes (December 2020 and September 2021), 220,246 tweets were downloaded, filtered to work with AI and natural language inference techniques (NLI) on a second sample of more than 36,000 tweets (N=36,292). Results: The results offer predominance of some types of disinformation production, as well as the effectiveness of creating false original content to gather followers or the identification of a period (2013-2020) of more domination of users who support hoaxes, compared to those who deny it. Discussion: The article shows how the typology of the accounts can be a predictive factor about the behavior of users who spread disinformation. Conclusions: Similar behavioral patterns of anti-vaccine discourse on Twitter are offered, which can help manage future similar phenomena. Given the significant size of the sample and the techniques used, it can be concluded that this work establishes a solid foundation for other comparative studies on disinformation and health in social networks., Introducción: Los bulos antivacunas son un tipo de desinformación sanitaria con gran peligro, dados sus efectos tangibles en la sociedad.

- Abstract
Modern militaries seek to increase their audience using metrics such as engagement to capture the success and popularity of their posts. This article follows on from previous research about the content of Instagram accounts, studying the main determinants of users’ engagement with official military accounts on Instagram. For this purpose, a sample has been sourced from the French, Israeli, Spanish, Australian and United States armies in 2021 (n=1922). The results provide evidence of a statistical correlation between engagement and the structure and themes of the posts, with posts related to consequences of military praxis, such as casualties or participation in conflicts, generating high levels of engagement. In contrast, users are least engaged with informative posts about non-military activities. The conclusions drawn point to some policy recommendations on how to improve public communication on Instagram and future research lines about the military’s public diplomacy., Los ejércitos modernos buscan incrementar sus audicencias empleando métricas como la interacción para determinar el éxito y popularidad de sus publicaciones.

- Abstract
Nodal peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL) with a T follicular helper phenotype (PTCL-TFH) is a new type of PTCL. We aimed to define its clinical characteristics and prognosis compared to PTCL not otherwise specified (PTCL-NOS) and angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL). This retrospective observational study included 175 patients diagnosed with PTCL between 2008 and 2013 in 13 Spanish sites. Patient diagnosis was centrally reviewed, and patients were reclassified according to the World Health Organization (WHO) 2016 criteria: 21 patients as PTCL-NOS, 55 as AITL and 23 as PTCL-TFH. Median follow-up was 56.07 months (95% CI 38.7–73.4). Progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) were significantly higher in patients with PTCL-TFH than in those with PTCL-NOS and AITL (PFS, 24.6 months vs. 4.6 and 7.8 months, respectively, p = 0.002; OS, 52.6 months vs. 10.0 and 19.3 months, respectively, p < 0.001). Histological diagnosis maintained an independent influence on both PFS (hazard ratio [HR] 4.1 vs. PTCL-NOS, p = 0.008; HR 2.6 vs. AITL, p = 0.047) and OS (HR 5.7 vs. PTCL-NOS, p = 0.004; HR 2.6 vs. AITL, p = 0.096), regardless of the International Prognostic Index. These results suggest that PTCL-TFH could have more favourable features and prognosis than the other PTCL subtypes, although larger series are needed to corroborate these findings.

The energy crisis and the exacerbation of climate change, along with the associated geopolitical tensions, including the war in Ukraine, are accelerating the energy transition in Europe. A transition from fossil energy sources to renewable energy sources that have a low Energy Return Rate, involves, among many other issues, the use of wide areas to locate the necessary infrastructure for production, transport and storage, altering territories with agricultural, cultural and ecological values. This process is based on the deployment of renewable energy megaprojects in peripheric areas of the continent, mostly in the southern states creating a wide range of social conflicts and resistances. We analyse this process in the case study of the province of Granada, a peripheric territory of south-east Spain considering the category of energy colonialism and the six dimensions that characterise it, arguing that this is a proper approach to address internal colonialism related to the corporate energy transition. We also want to demonstrate the importance of using participatory methodologies for this analysis, so we have developed an online survey, semi-structured interviews and participatory cartography workshops, always focusing on the citizens and stakeholders who are resisting the deployment of renewable energy megaprojects in the province of Granada. The obtained results allow us to confirm the necessity of using participatory methodologies and the colonial aspect of this deployment, including the characteristics of social resistance, the territorial impacts, the land-grabbing process and the inequalities in the production, distribution and use of energy. We conclude with the need to articulate a decolonial energy transition where participatory methods constitute a fundamental tool both to attend the resistances and to build the alternatives.
