Abstract

Excess PbI2 in perovskite film is an effective strategy for boosting perovskite solar cells (PSCs) performance. However, the presence of unreacted PbI2 is a critical source of intrinsic instability in perovskite under illumination, due to the photolysis of PbI2 (decomposed into metallic lead and iodine). Herein, this issue is solved by applying ionic liquids (ILs) on PSCs where the ILs can form types of stable supramolecules with residual lead iodide. The formation process and mechanism of the supramolecules are elucidated. The residual PbI2 is also revealed to cause high level lead interstitial defects and induced tensile strain which further deteriorate device performance. The self‐assembled supramolecular complex can passivate the PSCs where significant enhancements are achieved in both power conversion efficiency (PCE, from 21.9% to 23.4%) and device stability (retaining 95% of the initial PCE after 4080 h in ambient dry‐air storage, and 80% after 1400 h continuous light illumination). Abstract

Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) with a light‐harvesting three‐dimensional perovskite bulk layer as backbone component have achieved great progress in performance. Nonradiative recombination is one major place to improve efficiency and stability as they cause significant energy loss in PSCs. Additionally, an imperfection in grain boundaries will initiate device degradation. One of the most successful strategies to decrease nonradiative recombination in PSCs is the introduction of reduced dimensional perovskite (e.g., perovskite quantum wells), benefiting the device's efficiency and stability tremendously. Here, instead of quantum wells, mixed‐cation perovskites with ligand‐contained CsPbBrxI3 − x quantum dots (QDs) are prepared, which is shown to function as perovskite healing "surface patches." Benefiting from the "surface patches" effect, the QDs‐film shows reduced defects and enhancing film quality which lead to the excellent performance of solar cells (enhancing the power conversion efficiency from 19.21% of the control device to 21.71% [22.1% in reverse scan]). Abstract

Photodetectors (PDs) based on organic materials exhibit potential advantages such as low-temperature processing, and superior mechanical properties and form factors. They have seen rapid strides toward achieving performance metrics comparable to inorganic counterparts. Here, a simplified device architecture is employed to realize stable and high-performance organic PDs (OPDs) while further easing the device fabrication process. In contrast to the sequential deposition of the hole blocking layer (HBL) and active layer (conventional ‘two-step’ processing), the proposed strategy forms a self-assembled HBL and active layer in a ‘single-step’ process. A high-performance UV-Vis-NIR OPD based on the PM6:BTP-eC9 system is demonstrated using this cost-effective processing strategy. The green solvent processed proof-of-concept device exhibits remarkable responsivity of ∼0.5 A W−1, lower noise current than conventional two-step OPD, ultrafast rise/fall times of 1.4/1.6 μs (comparable to commercial silicon diode), and a broad linear dynamic range of 140 dB. Importantly, highly stable (light and heat) devices compared to those processed by the conventional method are realized. The broad application potential of this elegant strategy is proven by demonstrating the concept in three representative systems with broadband sensing competence.

Abstract

With the development of technology and diversification of research perspectives, the study of online public opinion related to big data has gradually become a hot topic. In this study, we searched CNKI platform and web of science papers on “online public opinion”, “online public sentiment” and “big data” in the last three years, used Citespace, BibExcel to analyze and VOSviewer to visualize. The comparison showed that the Chinese and English literature differed in terms of their disciplinary fields, popular research topics, and literature citations. This study takes this category of literature as an example and summarizes six most frequently proposed policy suggestions through content analysis. It is also found that there are three main deficiencies in the literature: the method is not strict enough, the research results are targeted at a single or wrong target, and the strategy recommendations are mostly general. Finally, based on the comparison of Chinese and English bibliometrics results and content analysis results, this study makes some suggestions for domestic researchers, such as paying attention to technical exploration and application of quantitative methods, and clarifying responsible subjects in research results.

Abstract

Optical films containing the genetic variant bacteriorhodopsin BR-D96N were experimentally studied in view of their properties as media for holographic storage. Different polarization recording schemes were tested and compared. The influence of the polarization states of the recording and readout waves on the retrieved diffractive image's intensity and its signal-to-noise ratio were analyzed. The experimental results showed that, compared with the other tested polarization relations during holographic recording, the discrimination between the polarization states of diffracted and scattered light is optimized with orthogonal circular polarization of the recording beams, and thus a high signal-to- ratio and a high diffraction efficiency are obtained. Using a He-Ne laser (633 nm, 3 mW) for recording and readout, a spatial light modulator as a data input element, and a 2D-CCD sensor for data capture in a Fouriertransform holographic setup, a storage density of 2 x 1[0.sup.8] bits/c[m.sup.2] was obtained on a 60 x 42 [micro][m.sup.2] area in the BR-D96N film. Abstract

The corrosion behaviours of Al–Mg–Si alloys were studied in different $$\hbox {Cl}^{-}$$ concentrations by means of scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and electrochemical experiments. The results show that the corrosion behaviours of Al–Mg–Si alloys are closely related to the $$\hbox {Cl}^{-}$$ concentration. With an increase in $$\hbox {Cl}^{-}$$ concentration, the corrosion rate increases sharply by facilitating the process of chemical and electrochemical reactions. In 2.0 wt.% NaCl solution, slight pitting corrosion occurred around the MgSi phase, but corrosion trenching was not found around the Fe–Mn–Si phase. In 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution, the alloy appeared localized corrosion dominated by intergranular corrosion attack. In 5.0 wt.% NaCl solution, the alloy presented serious overall corrosion, and the passivation platform of the polarization was not obvious. Furthermore, an appropriate corrosion mechanism according to polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy was proposed for the Al–Mg–Si alloy in NaCl solution. In addition, the corrosion rate influenced by different $$\hbox {Cl}^{-}$$ concentrations was discussed in detail.

129. Screening for Differentially Expressed Circular RNAs in the Cartilage of Osteoarthritis Patients for Their Diagnostic Value

Abstract

Background: Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most prevalent osteoarticular disease, which typically involves chronic cartilage degeneration and synovitis. The latest research shows that circular RNAs (circRNAs) play a role in the development of a variety of diseases, including osteoarthrosis. Purposes: The aim of this study was to explore the expression of circRNAs in OA chondrocytes and predict biomarkers for diagnosis. Materials and Methods: The circRNA expression profile was analyzed through use of the Gene Spring software V13.0; differentially expressed circRNAs were screened by comparing OA chondrocytes and normal articular chondrocytes. We validated the microarray data by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction analyses of OA chondrocytes and chondrocytes from normal controls. TargetScan software and miRanda software were used to predict networks of circRNA–miRNA interactions in cartilage. Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway and Gene Ontology (GO) analyses were applied to predict the functions of differentially expressed circRNAs. Results: Overall, 1380 circRNAs were differentially expressed between OA chondrocytes and normal articular chondrocytes (fold-change ≥2, p ≤ 0.05), including 215 that were upregulated and 1165 that were downregulated circRNAs. After analyzing the differentially expressed circRNA genes, the top 20 enriched GO entries and KEGG pathways were annotated. The hsa_circrna_0032131 was identified for further analysis. A circRNA–miRNA network was constructed to represent the 10 most likely target genes associated with the validated circRNA. Conclusions: Our research suggests that some of the differentially expressed circRNAs in OA chondrocytes compared to normal chondrocytes are etiologically associated with the pathological process of OA. Abstract

Background: Osteoarthritis (OA) is a common chronic degenerative joint disease characterized by articular cartilage degeneration and synovitis. CircRNAs are increasingly being recognized as functional endogenous RNAs with a stable structure and high tissue specificity. Recent studies have shown that some circRNAs may be involved in the initiation and progression of OA and that there is differential expression of circRNAs in chondrocytes in vitro isolated from patients with OA. Purposes: In this study, we aimed to determine if circRNA levels in the peripheral blood of Chinese Han patients with OA would be diagnostic based on the previous in vitro studies. Methods: We collected peripheral blood samples from 25 patients suffering from OA and 25 healthy controls and measured hsa_circ_0032131_CBC1 RNA levels through quantitative RT-PCR (qRT-PCR). The statistical basis for evaluating the diagnostic value was to calculate the area under the receiver operator characteristic (ROC) curve. Results: The results of the qRT-PCR for hsa_circ_0032131_CBC1 were consistent with those of the microarray analysis. The ROC curve shows that hsa_circ_0032131 holds diagnostic value for OA (0.8455, p < 0.01). Conclusions: Our research indicates that differentially expressed circRNAs may be involved in the development of OA and could be used diagnostically.

Abstract

The electric bus has gradually become the main tool of public transport in the city. It has become an indispensable link in the electric bus for fast electric energy supply. The ordered charge control strategy proposed in this paper solves the problem of electric bus charging optimization. This strategy enables security and economy to be better guaranteed in the operation of the power system. The orderly control strategy adopts the method of hierarchical control, including the prediction layer, scheduling layer and control layer. In this paper, an optimization model for the rapid charging of electric buses based on the cost of charging and battery loss is first set up. Considering charging power constraint and restraint and power supply limit of departure, according to the data of forecasted layer's expected full load rate, traffic index and timesharing price, the rolling layer is optimized continuously in the dispatching layer, and finally the reliable charging plan is arranged by the dispatching layer. In order to verify the effectiveness of hierarchical charge control strategy, a fast charging station is optimized for charging. The numerical analysis shows that the proposed method has the function of clipping peaks and filling valleys and improves the rapid charging of electric buses of the economy, weakened a large number of electric vehicles focused on the impact of grid power.

Abstract

x wt% (x = 0, 0.03, 0.40) Sn addition in Al-Mg-Si alloys were prepared to investigate the effect of Sn on the performance of Al-Mg-Si alloys. Optical microscope (OM), scanning (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) were applied to observe the microstructure of these alloys. X-ray diffraction (XRD) was used to investigate the phase component among different alloys. Electrochemical polarization measurements and intergranular corrosion test were used to investigate the corrosion behaviors of these alloys. The experimental data shows that 0.03 wt% Sn can slightly enhance mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of Al-Mg-Si alloys because of the smaller precipitate free zones (PFZ) area and grain boundary refinement. Higher Sn addition (0.4 wt%) may cause detrimental effect on both mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of Al-Mg-Si alloys. Excess Sn tends to replace part of Si in Mg2Si phase and forms Mg2(Si,Sn) phase which is thought to be an anodic phase compared to Al matrix. Electrochemical measurements may not comprehensively reveal the overall corrosion processes, such as de-alloying process of Mg2(Si, Sn) phase and thus enrichment of Sn which leads to much faster dissolution of Al.
